Ajax show low performance because they already sold their key player like christian eriksen, daley blind. if their go to round 4 champion they will get trouble from manchester united or lazio, valencia
Well I'm not sure, actually Ajax is a unique club, which although Ajax sell its key player every season, then comes a young rising star from its academy after that. One of the best soccer academies in europe imo. Maybe they werent luck enough last night.

I think that shaktar can win this one against fenerbahce as whilst shaktar may not be in the winning habit they will let the goals fly !! Cheesy
Well Fenerbahce has van Persie and Nani on its side, in otherwise Shaktar has lost Luiz Adriano. Then I guess Fenerbahce has bigger chance than Shaktar  Cheesy
6542  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: August 05, 2015, 01:02:29 PM
I know many men who have worked hard all their life and are now old, poor men.

Working hard alone isn't good enough.  You must work smart.
And I know many people who worked hardly, now their sons/daughters have been a rich person. Sometimes people do hard work not to enrich their selves, but for ensuring the future of their kids.

Sometimes the shortcut is the best way to boost your chance to get rich be higher. It depends on what kind of shortcut you will do. And, actually people dont have any target for the amount they will reach. After they reach that amount, they will be greedy and raise the target every time.

If you mean cheating, scamming, etc in work and business as shortcut, then I think that yes one should never do that, it is against business ethics and you must respect rules and regulations. Honesty goes a long way, but I think manipulation could be a great tool if you are selling yourself or an idea. You must know how to be inside your investors mind or understand your customers' demand, and then provide your services in similar fashion Smiley
Yeah I will never recommend any shortcut way, since most of them isnt a positive thing. People who too lazy to work but want to be rich always seek any shortcut to get it.
6543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to measure Bitcoin popularity? on: August 05, 2015, 11:57:02 AM
Good way is through transactions only, from blockchain because blockchain is best wallet and there's more transactions than any other wallet !!  Smiley
I dont think thats a effective way to measure bitcoin popularity, since people could make multiple wallets imo, and we cant know the origin country of the people who do the transaction. And after blockchain got few problems in couple days ago, people began to use other wallet.
6544  Economy / Gambling / Re: AJAX VS RAPID WIEN on: August 05, 2015, 11:50:50 AM
EDIT: Actually I cant believe the strong team like Ajax lost. Does Ajax go to European League directly? I kinda dont understand about the qualification system in Champions League.

The Ajax vs Rapid Wien match is the third qualifying round. After losing the match, Ajax will play the Europa League play-off round.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015%E2%80%9316_UEFA_Champions_League_qualifying_phase_and_play-off_round#Third_qualifying_round

Ah I see, thanks for the information  Cheesy  I cant imagine the good team like Ajax dont play in european tournament. UCL for this season has made new rules about drawing, so it make me little bit confuse.
6545  Economy / Gambling / Re: AJAX VS RAPID WIEN on: August 05, 2015, 09:44:40 AM
I think Ajax - Rapid Wien - Both teams to score is a good option because both teams have the firepower to score some goals  Cool
Well my best tipster has taken the decision, so I should follow him  Cheesy

Ajax surely will qualify to group stage UCL, since they always play in that competition every season.

Thank you for the trust in me I am flattered. I think you won that bet as well  Cool

Didnt bet huge amount, but yeah still get nice profit  Cheesy  Thanks Wendigo, I'm still waiting you to make your own prediction thread  Grin  I am curious how can you do that  Roll Eyes

6546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which celebrity do you think will be the best advocator for Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2015, 04:30:18 PM
The most suitable person is Bill Gates imo, no doubt about it. Some people will think that bitcoin as a one of the ways Bill Gates have taken to make him rich, and they will follow him. Or a sportsman maybe, like Messi or Ronaldo which they have million fans in the world.

Yes, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet (this one is highly unlikely) or other very rich investors / businessman would turn the balance to Bitcoin greatly.
Warren Buffet seems doesnt like bitcoin https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/warren-buffett-stay-away-from-bitcoin/   Cheesy

For me i think its Morgan Freeman since he is good at narrating. I think bitcoin should not only be advertised but it should be taught to the common people as well. Most especially to those who are not computer savy. I think with enough explanation on what is bitcoin all about and how to use it will have a great impact for mass adaptation
Sounds good, I think with his character, atleast he can attract middle age people to be interested with bitcoin.
6547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to measure Bitcoin popularity? on: August 04, 2015, 04:21:10 PM
The best way to find out usage information from the general public is with a poll or survey. That's why companies spend small fortunes having professionals do product surveys.

Here's a couple that have been done on Bitcoin. I'm sure they'll be more.

http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/03/05/bitcoin-future-poll/

http://insidebitcoins.com/news/what-do-americans-really-think-about-bitcoin-new-survey-tells-all/29266

Survey is the better way but not the best. Sometimes the participants of any survey dont represent the whole of people or society, although they have chosen by a random way. The best way imo is counting the participant of any bitcoin forum like this forum, any exchangers site, gambling site, etc

Maybe but traffic counts can be deceiving too. How many trolls are here that don't use Bitcoin? How many Something Awful goons? How many law enforcement officers? How many people don't give two shits about Bitcoin but came here because they heard it's great for signature campaigns and the minute that money dries up their gone? You're going to scoop up a lot of people that you don't want with traffic counts.

Edit: Check out this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1139726.0
Yeah I have participated that questionnaire
Some people think its too busy for taking their time to participate any survey or poll, and most of those question seems very personal. Thats why just little amount of bitcoin user who want to do that.
6548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've been scammed 5.5BTC. What will you do when your Bitcoin get scammed? on: August 04, 2015, 04:12:52 PM
Sorry to hear that you got scammed ( or you made it up)! Anyways, A scammer scammed me 0.4 BTC at 999dice and this is what i did Tongue

You cannot do anything since the nature of bitcoin doesn't allow to reverse transactions!

I opened this thread and when I read the thing, I wanted to put up the same image! I'm too slow for this..

But now something on-topic ( Grin ).. I never experienced any scam, like I didn't scam anyone and I wasn't scammed, maybe it's because I'm too careful or maybe I don't trade a lot here and if I do, it's always with escrow Roll Eyes
Well is there any escrow for ponzi or gambling sites?  Roll Eyes  People always made a mistake, dont matter how careful we are. But, any bad thing that be happened for us could became our experience to avoid that in future  Wink
6549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Participants wanted for the study on Bitcoin user experience and perceptions on: August 04, 2015, 04:05:44 PM
We'll certainly make summary information of the findings available to the public later on. I also noticed that researchers rarely shared the study results on this forum. Probably, some of them didn't publish them due to a small sample size at the end.
We dont need a high quality result for those researches, we just curious about that. Its okay if its only sample size, hope you will share it no matter how much your participants in the end.
And it spent more than 30 mins for me to do that questionnaire and I think some of your questions is too personal. Anyway good luck for your study.
6550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2015, 03:12:58 PM
I find it funny that people are so obssessed with trying to 'grow' their bitcoins. Bitcoins will do that naturally over time if you have patience. Don't do anything risky by investing in dodgy schemes and just concentrate on earning more bitcoins in whatever way instead.
We call it investment, which its the good way to grow your bitcoin with many ways. If we just earning it, then there is no difference between bitcoin and fiat. We can avoid any risky with collect all information about what kind of place or site we will invest.
6551  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: August 04, 2015, 03:05:25 PM
its easy..just do some hard work and don't take any type of shortcuts..well that's depend on you to invest or not and also depends on how much amount you have target
Sometimes the shortcut is the best way to boost your chance to get rich be higher. It depends on what kind of shortcut you will do. And, actually people dont have any target for the amount they will reach. After they reach that amount, they will be greedy and raise the target every time.
6552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Participants wanted for the study on Bitcoin user experience and perceptions on: August 03, 2015, 06:00:08 PM
I like how researchers are only registering on Bitcointalk while conducting bitcoin research. They post 1 post with their survey and they are gone...
I never seen anyone with higher status account asking for help in research. What do you think does that mean guys? I feel little exploited this way.
Well they are just researchers, not bitcoin user I guess. They just want to do anything related to their study and after they already getting all, they wont care with any more again. Anyway I will take a look at this questionnaire when I have free time.

The question is: deserve that people all attention of all the bitcoin community when they don't care about them? Or to tell better: care about them only when are in need. They take money for their research and don't give nothing to those which practically realize their research. Seems like a exploitation. And it is not few time. Needed 20 min but I'm sure that it will need more.
Yeah, there were some researchers have made the study for bitcoin in this forum, but they never share it afaik. Maybe they will make a journal for their research about bitcoin, but we have to purchase it if we want to know about the research.
6553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 03, 2015, 05:54:50 PM
In my opinion it's best to just buy bitcoin and hold. I think ina few years or so the price will be worth multiple of what it is now.
I think no one will hold his bitcoin for over years, except he has a dozen of bitcoin, so he will hodl half, and using the others.

Well you should searched the information about the site you will invest or play with your bitcoin. Thats the advantage of this forum, which you can ask the opinion from other people about some ponzi or suspicious sites. But yeah, Im sorry to hear your loss. Good luck, hope you dont lose any interest for bitcoin because of that.
6557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the Autonomous Robot Economy (vid) on: August 03, 2015, 05:29:18 PM
If a robot owns Bitcoins then people might start attacking them to steal their Bitcoins. Exchanges get hacked despite their efforts to protect themselves, and if robots have Bitcoins they are likely to get both physically attacked and hacked. If your washing machine robot owns Bitcoins in the future then you might return home to find the burglars have dismantled and hacked it for those Bitcoins.
Everything will be created with its security, so we can avoid this risks. Maybe that robot be equipped with a tool to its self defense, like weapon. Actually the inventors surely have thought all risks that can be happened to their creations.
6558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 03, 2015, 05:24:33 PM
Oh yeah i knew it,there are some people has bought bitcointalk account and join with signature campaign
but i think they would get their money as soon as posible
if they're followed good signature campaign
The main point for most people's mind in signature campaign is, the payment will be higher depends on the rank of account. So, when we are a newbie, we wont get good amount of bitcoin just for sig camp, so have to wait it atleast for around 5 months to get full member rank #cmiiw. Not a short time imo

6560  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Man stabs people at gay pride march in Jerusalem for second time on: August 03, 2015, 05:00:16 PM
@Falconer, MakingMoneyHoney

Maybe it was a provocation. Maybe they were trying to goad religious people and trying to frustrate them. Maybe they had other reasons to choose Jerusalem. But you missed the point. None of those things give anyone the right to use violence against them. Depending on where you live religious people can be so very annoying and get away with a lot of stuff they shouldn't. But I wouldn't support killing or attacking them no matter how annoying they are. There is no justification for this attack.
I like your wise words, but sometime people have limited patience for themselves. We as religion people respect them, but why they cant do like us. Atleast they should know how to make a parade properly in the appropriate place for them.
