6561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Choose the Best Bitcoin Gambling Site? on: February 11, 2016, 08:36:50 AM
i think its up to you, because they have same provably fair

To gamble not only probable fairness is important but along with that site has to be reputed enough and there support should be quite fast otherwise I will not choose to bet on those sites. Probable fairness is the first step only but other things will be very important.

i agree, the provably fair part is a deal breaker if it does not exist but it is not the important part of a gambling site. with hundreds of different gambling sites which currently exist out there , the one you choose needs to be different from others in a good manner. like the fast support, easy and fast deposit and withdrawals, good design and one of important things is the fast response of the site so it would be available always to massive visitors.
6562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 11, 2016, 08:28:24 AM
It's not real for me yet, as I am not able to buy any physical thing using bitcoin, as I am using only it for online purchases or remitting it to my bank account, but yes I am receiving real money to my bank account after converting bitcoins.
just because bitcoin, can not be used to buy something. you call bitcoin. not currency?
I think the currencies have their own areas, you will not be able to use French currency. and shopping in Dutch with French currency
same as bitcoin, bitcoin is online currency, for now

You only looking for shop which receive bitcoin as payment to buy physical good.. but if you don't , there's not a choice. You must exchange into your currency or dollars. You can say bitcoin is not real for you but it is real cryptocurrency.

exactly. as long as there are so few places to spend bitcoin to buy physical goods, it is hard to consider bitcoin as a currency "real money".

and i consider places to accept bitcoin directly not going through a third party service which in fact is changing bitcoin to fiat and then pays the shop with that. and we have to pay extra fees to use the service.
6563  Economy / Gambling / Re: My first bitcoin -- thanks, cryptogames on: February 11, 2016, 08:23:39 AM
congratulations on your big winnings mate. i almost never see that kind of wining chance in my life.

do you have any particular strategy to win or are you just betting with your gut and get lucky?
6564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 11, 2016, 08:18:14 AM
since i believe that fiat as we know it is not going to go away in the future, i have to say banks which are working with cash/fiat are not going to disappear either.

even if bitcoin becomes big and adopted by all the people in the world , cash is still going to be around. so banks will be around too.
6565  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese are beginning to pile into BTC again, see huobi prices on: February 11, 2016, 08:11:21 AM
might be the next leg up soon, who knows.

i doubt that this is the start of the pump. even if chinese start it i don't think they can move bitcoin price that much, only a small rise maybe.

there is some issues that needs to be clear for bitcoin to move forward like the outcome of the bitcoin classic release which is not yet determined.
6566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Classic has just been released. Will it effect the BTC price? on: February 11, 2016, 08:07:18 AM
the resistance has been so much that it is preventing the bitcoin classic effect on bitcoin price, besides there is nothing really happening yet.
so i guess we should wait and see how things turn out. it is soon to decide.
6567  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: February 11, 2016, 07:59:20 AM
i have been using bitcoin earning as a second job for some time now and i have to say it is possible to earn a living with bitcoin but the problem is that you can not rely on bitcoin or bitcoin earning every month to pass your life.
6568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: February 11, 2016, 07:53:42 AM
I realised bitcoin may seem hard to be understood by new users. Besides that there is need for more physical services to use bitcoin.
you're right, then from it before using bitcoin, we have to understand first of all about bitcoin, because if you plunge into the world of coins, it would be a lot of coins that have sprung up in addition bitcoin and it will make some people stop to use and learn about bitcoin

i doubt if the understanding bitcoin is the main issue in here.

nowadays it is super easy to use bitcoin with all the different services, payment processors and easy wallets like coinbase, circle, bitpay, xapo,... they are all making bitcoin as easy as possible.

the problem is the price and places to use bitcoin which scares people away.
6569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD... on: February 11, 2016, 07:29:33 AM
so far bitcoin had 9999 lives because i have seen it being announced dead that much and yet again it is rising. this strategy of calling bitcoin dead is getting so old.
6570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help. on: February 11, 2016, 07:23:08 AM
....
I know this may not be easy to answer, but what is a good way to get my reputation up?
....

only time!
you can not expect your trust rating to go high if you are in the forum for a short time. you should start your services, use trusted escrows at first. build up trust over time. it might even take more than a year to build that kind of trust.
6571  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to invest? on: February 11, 2016, 07:16:39 AM

investment to me , I will use it for trade and our will share the profits , if you agree to PM me !

Ding ding ding. Close this thread right now. Our OP got the answer he was looking for. Who could resist this? Count me in too.

I have a different suggestion why not set up a faucets and place ads on your faucets, the cost is very low and you need a small bitcoin investment of course that is beside holding your coins, like all the other who replied to your thread ,holding it is an investment itself

faucets are waste of time for both faucet workers and faucet owners.
you might thing a faucet owner gets a lot of revenue but that is not entirely true. with all the adblocks people use and all the hack, exploits and bots the faucet traffic (the one thing that is making them money) becomes lower than what they are paying.
6572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: February 10, 2016, 08:39:28 AM
when Ponzi site going down: / my heart skipped a beat, because it was the beginning of a scam

you should know what you are dealing with whenever you are using a ponzi scheme site. they are clearly scheduled for running away. there is nothing out of the ordinary or unexpected happening.

you have to either stay away from ponzi at all costs or accept the extremely high risks.
6573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people REALLY use bitcoin on: February 10, 2016, 08:31:54 AM
I just wanted to know if you guys use bitcoin quite often in your life. Please give me some occasions where you have used bitcoin.

there aren't that many people who are really using bitcoin. because there is not enough places that accepts bitcoin and in some countries there is even none.

i have only used bitcoin to buy altcoins and that is just an alternative way of investment and not really a usage. but if there were places even online that accepted bitcoin directly i would do my online shopping with bitcoin at least.
6574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how the development of bitcoin in your country? on: February 10, 2016, 08:26:35 AM
how the development of bitcoin in your country?
whether in your country banned the use of bitcoin?

not good at all, there was a time a couple of years ago where bitcoin was becoming super popular everywhere but that was mainly because of the $1000-$1200 price of it.

currently i am glad to tell you that there is no opposition or banning against bitcoin in my country and i hope this stays the same in the future too. but the amount of awareness is still low.
6575  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: February 10, 2016, 08:21:54 AM
you can use faucet, bitcoin giveaway, altcoin giveaway, sell your services/skill, etc.
more way to collect bitcoin if you seriously to collect it
Sorry for stupid question  Grin What does "bitcoin/altcoin giveaway" mean? Can you post link to some giveaway?

Try the games section or click this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0 then just look for what interests you.

that link is the games and rounds section, those giveaways are always in bitcoin and usually for promoting a gambling site.

the altcoin giveaways that i have seen was about a year ago and on reddit. there were a lot of them being done just to introduce the new altcoin to crypto users. they you could sell them for btc.

- they are extinct right now Smiley
6576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: February 10, 2016, 08:12:57 AM
I think the best now invest in Bitcoins.

The price is quite low and you can buy it so easily.

If you wait a minute later, there is therefore a chance that you create later profits with Bitcoins.

You can tell the best investment in bitcoin?

buying is easy, but you must know when the price drops and the right time to buy.

if you are planning on buying bitcoin to hold it for a long time (for example a couple of years) then you don't have anything to worry about. just buy however much you can afford and keep it safe in a cold storage somewhere.

but if you want to day-trade then it is a different story. because every change is your lucky day no matter what the price is.

better for the day-trading rather than buy and spend a lot of money just to hold for a long time and we do not know what will happen the next few years

day-trading is not easy either. you will need to be alert all the time, also you will need well-coded-bots to watch the market movement at all times so you can decide when to buy and/or sell.

and all of this will come with a huge amount of stress since money is involved, which is not suitable for everybody.
6577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to spend your bitcoin on? on: February 10, 2016, 08:07:12 AM
Hey guys. Its DOGE12321  again. What are you guys going to use your bitcoin on when you get a substantial total.

it will always depend on the price of bitcoin for me to decide what i am going to buy with them.

my plan is to accumulate enough bitcoin that i can call myself rich in a couple of years. also i believe that bitcoin price is going to be high enough for me to become comfortable with my stash.

so in that case i am going to buy big things, like paying for a house in some place that i have in mind.
6578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2016, 08:00:33 AM
if there were a bitcoin bank (a bank that accepts bitcoin as investment like regular banks) that would be so cool. hard to trust, but very useful.
but the other way around which means the regular banks (which are working with fiat) accepting bitcoin, there is just no way. bitcoin is threatening their very own existence.

Why useful? In which way would that be useful???
The main point of btc is that you're your own bank! What the hell would be the point of a bank???
The interest? You mean that bloody 0.5% the banks give you while they use your money to kill the economy? Seriously???

as Kevinatin have mentioned in a couple of comments above the benefits of such services can be as simple as giving a fixed profit on your bitcoin balance which you entrust them with. or they can offer services like giving loans which is a common usage of regular banks too.
6579  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2016, 07:55:30 AM
my initial plan was to just buy and hold bitcoin as much as i can. so that i can sell them in the future that the bitcoin price goes up.

but i realized that this plan alone is not enough to get a considerable amount of money in bitcoin. so now in addition to the initial plan i try to earn more bitcoin too. and for that i am increasing the amount of time i spend in trading bitcoin and altcoins.
6580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best Price on Buying Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2016, 07:50:42 AM
I think price is quite stable right now, and seems to me that sub 400$ range is a good price for buying. But that is in the current environment, which might change.

if it is the same scenario like last year when the price was stable between $200 and $300 then now is the time to buy before bitcoin starts to go up again and you regret not using the opportunity to get cheep coins.
