Ty was right about Germany both times. All in the lineup after all, eh?

They are missing the Bayern players Wink Not necessarily quality-wise, but mentality-wise. They have always been the core of german NT and leaders on and off the pitch. For now this is a team, that lacks some leadership and grittiness - looks more like a bunch of very good individuals, but no real team. And they don't care that much about this competition, not even Löw I guess.

Do you guys know any BTC accepting site where you can play a system like that.

I only know Betcoin/Playbetr as well, but they are no real BTC bookies. What you can always do, is to "manually" construct such a system by playing all the possible combinations as parlays. This is some tiresome thing, but works Wink

Austria vs. Romania
The bookmakers see Austria as the winning team (win AT 1.69 vs. win RO 5.6). I see a good chance to go for double chance Romania at 3.9.

Nice catch, gratz Smiley Are you sure about this 3.9 for X2 though ? It was AH0/dnb, no ?
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 08, 2020, 09:33:30 AM
Nice post @Darkoth89

Lots of boring games on paper and the ones I fancied for an upset unfortunately are priced more or less ok, with the favourite having high-ish odds.

I think Hertha will have their hands full with Braunschweig. This can be considered some kind of a derby and freshly promoted Braunschweig should be super motivated, while always being tough to beat at home. Hertha was rather poor in the test matches - although against good opposition - and the Labbadia-magic only works for so long always. Now Hertha is priced at around 1.80, which seems reasonable and I don't think worth a punt on 1X. I would have liked something around 1.60 better to oppose them. This will probably go into overtime.

St. Pauli is historically not a very good cup team. They often struggle in the first rounds and more often than not are eliminated by a lower division team. But the market knows this too and so they are 1.90+ against a team that plays only in Regionalliga (Division 4). Elversberg is a good Div4 team though, while St. Pauli is a mediocre/bad 2. Bundesliga team, so the difference might only be 1.5 divisions in the end^^ Still I somehow like the 1.90, even if I wanted to oppose them at first Grin

For all those <1.20 favs I can't imagine any upsets looking through the games, but there will definitely be a few. Just hard to pick them with so few information available at the start of a season.

It is not even unsportmanlike conduct, not defending Djokovic, but he should have been given a code violation first.

The rule book leaves some room for interpretation actually:

Quote
Q.PHYSICAL ABUSE

Players  shall  not  at  any  time  physically  abuse  any  official,  opponent,  spectator  or other person within the precincts of the tournament site.Violation  of  this  Section  shall  subject  a  player  to  a  fine  up  to$20,000 for each violation. In addition, if such violation occurs during a match (including the warm-up),  the  player  shall  be  penalised  in  accordance  with  the  Point  Penalty  Schedule hereinafter  set  forth.  In  circumstances  that  are  flagrant  and  particularly  injurious to the  success  of  a  tournament,  or  are  singularly  egregious,  a  single  violation  of  this Section shall also constitute the Major Offence of “Aggravated Behaviour” and shall be subject to the additional penalties hereinafter set forth. For  the  purposes  of  this  Rule,  physical  abuse  is  the  unauthorised  touching  of  an official, opponent, spectator or other person.
Source: https://www.itftennis.com/media/2495/grand-slam-rulebook-2020-f.pdf

The problem is, that other players were disqualified for similar things (Shapovalov, Serena, Nalbandian), so it would be very weird to not dq Djokovic for it as well, i.e. give him some super star bonus. The incidents in the past set a line and now it's very difficult to lower the line again, though I would support it. Just give point/game/set penalty or whatever plus a huge fine.

It's a pity that an already suffering tournament has to disqualify the biggest player still in the draw for this, but otoh it makes the outcome much more interesting now Smiley

Gratz @buwaytress

At the same time super annoying that you have to share the prize with so many other users Shocked But thats the problem, when you pick the more obvious outcomes; for bringing the BTC home alone, you need to hit on some upsets. 37 mBTC is still nice though, I am sitting at 0.0 mBTC return for MM Cheesy Had loads of draws picked for this one and not sure, how many I got correct in the end, maybe 4^^
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 06, 2020, 08:32:59 PM
I still placed a small bet on Zverev to win the title. If he plays the final against Djokovic, he will the underdog but he might have a small chance of winning it.
Odd at freebitco.in was @33, which is nice value!

This looks tremendous value now  Grin

(...) i seriously think that it was mistake and should not disqualify for making a mistake.

Yes, it's a stupid rule, but it is what it is. No player would do that on purpose, but you have to be more careful then. He is not the first player to get disqualified for such incident.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 06, 2020, 05:54:33 PM
I really don't know what to do with Switzerland vs Germany. The germans should win this, but somehow I don't like the odds, don't ask me why. Switzerland is tough to beat at home and they surely are extra motivated against the big neighbour. Maybe HCX for around 4.0 is an option, but then again Germany should do well on counter-attacks with their fast players if leading late in the game and then this bet could lose easily.
Maybe some over is a good choice, since there have already been loads of unders again today (1-0/1-0/0-1/0-1 lol) and from a statistical point of view, some games do finish over always Smiley
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: September 06, 2020, 04:54:18 PM
Looks like we won't have FF for this season, but maybe next season then Smiley

BUT, in a few days from now, we have something to do again on boring Sundays (for those who don't poker^^), so here are the games for week 1 with average odds taken from oddsportal:

Kansas City Chiefs - Houston Texans 1,22 4,33
Atlanta Falcons - Seattle Seahawks 2,04 1,80
Baltimore Ravens - Cleveland Browns 1,27 3,86
Buffalo Bills - New York Jets 1,34   3,30
Carolina Panthers - Las Vegas Raiders 2,34 1,62
Detroit Lions - Chicago Bears 1,63 2,31
Jacksonville Jaguars - Indianapolis Colts 3,94 1,26
Minnesota Vikings - Green Bay Packers   1,70 2,18
New England Patriots - Miami Dolphins 1,34 3,31
Washington - Philadelphia Eagles 3,22 1,35
Cincinnati Bengals - Los Angeles Chargers 2,51 1,54
New Orleans Saints - Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1,55   2,48
San Francisco 49ers - Arizona Cardinals 1,31 3,52
Los Angeles Rams - Dallas Cowboys 2,21 1,68
New York Giants - Pittsburgh Steelers 2,78 1,45
Denver Broncos - Tennessee Titans 1,83 2,00

At first glance I only like Bills (HC -6), some more reasearch needed for the rest. Raiders look good as well odds-wise imo, but early game on the road is always a bit meh with them. Super excited for Saints vs Bucs Cool
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football in China - The Chinese Super League on: September 06, 2020, 04:20:41 PM
Guangzhou Evergrande - Guangzhou R&F / Evergrande ML (1.14) -> 2-1
Hebei - Shanghai SIPG / Shanghai ML (1.41) -> 2-0
Wuhan - Beijing / Beijing ML (1,56) -> 2-2
Parlay @2.508 3/10

Well, these parlays just suck and always sucked, rightfully lost Tongue

Qingdao - Shijazhuang / Qingdao +0.5 @1.89 4/10 -> 0-1

A bit annoying since the game winning goal came very late, but very deserved win for Shijazhuang, Qingdao was just pathetic. I am beginning to hate Shijazhuang, so many lost bets with them. Maybe time to do some Martingale against them Grin

Not a good round all in all, but still slight profit for the season.

Chongqing - Hebei / Hebei -0.25 @1.83 5/10

When you beat SIPG, you shouldn't be -0.25 against poor Chongqing, but -0.5. For Hebei it's vital to take the 3 points here, since it would strengthen their top4 position - and if you want to get into top4, you just have to beat Chongqing. Chongqing themselves won't make the top4 anyway, so motivation clearly on Hebei's side. Chongqing won just two games thus far (Tianjin, Shijazhuang) and I doubt they will make that three in this game. A draw is still possible, but we only lose half stake then.

669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cycling Thread on: September 05, 2020, 01:00:15 PM
Sagan Top3 @4.40 (Stake)
Bonifazio tb Viviani @2.28 (Pinnacle)

Everything was set up perfectly for Sagan to finish Top3, but he was positioned rather bad for the sprint and then it looked like his chain came off - happens. Bonifazio finished 80sec ahead of Viviani in another group.

Three climbs tomorrow, two from 1 category and one HC, serious stuff, though i'm afraid most riders will be tired as hell after today and we won't see many attacks, i hope i'm wrong though.

Well. looks like a day for the attackers, but I am still expecting some action on that last climb from the GC guys. The descent could maybe trigger some guys as well, but not sure how technical that one is today.

Placed one bet today: A. Yates tb Alaphilippe (1.79)

I considered that one too, since I think it's maybe too hard for Ala today, although he improved a lot on these longer climbs. What put me off in the end, is that it's not mountain top finish and Ala can always come back on the desent with the skills he has. And in a little sprint you have to favour Ala then. But good luck anyway Smiley
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: TAURION - Fully Decentralized Blockchain MMO - Play to Earn on: September 05, 2020, 12:38:27 PM
Was looking out for the project token price in the market on the website but noticed it wasn't there.

The in-game currency of Taurion is Cubits and you can purchase them inside the game by exchanging CHI for them. Those CHI will get burned then (up to 28mln CHI), Xaya team will get nothing from it. 1 CHI will give you 10,000 Cubits at the moment:

Source: https://medium.com/@XAYA/taurion-burn-sale-a7c74bc7bbba

You can find all information here: Taurion Burn Sale

So, if you want to buy Cubits, you would have to download and start the game. If you (just) want to buy CHI - the native currency of the Xaya platform - you can go to Liquid, Citex or Probit.
671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 05, 2020, 10:56:18 AM
Something that I don't understand is why there seem to be different regulations for each federal state here in Germany.

Well, you already gave yourself the answer: Germany is a federal Republic Smiley And the DFL is not yet bigger than local health authorities, so when Saxony allows XXXX people for events and Bavaria does not, thats just something we have to live with and I think it's fine. Because if it goes well in those places, where there are spectators allowed, it's more likely that the more strict states will allow spectators as well. Someone has to be the first to test (successfully) for others to follow Wink

I don't see a big issue putting a few k specators in a stadium tbh, since it's outdoors and you will not have packed stands. Just hope that there will be some hardcore fans as well to have a bit of an atmosphere again. Just 500 of them are already enough, to get some more football vibes after months of lab conditions in the stadiums. Only two weeks to go until 1./2. Bundesliga start again and I am already excited Cool
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 05, 2020, 09:12:34 AM
(...) but I prefer to bet Over, lol.

Very few goals were scored across all games, only 2.11 on average, but this is often the case in Internationals. We had 72% unders and only 28% overs, which also shows the difficulty to predict the matches, with teams not being interested, players in the middle of preparing for new domestic seasons and lots of changes in the line-ups, where it takes some time to find a rhythm then. Looking at todays schedule, I don't see this change for now, only DEN-BEL and ICE-ENG look to maybe please (us) over punters.

Can't wait for Gibraltar vs San Marino Smiley
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football in China - The Chinese Super League on: September 04, 2020, 08:18:31 PM
Shenzhen - Shanghai Shenhua / Shenzhen AH0 @1.77 5/10

Nothing to see here, 0-0 FT.

The above parlay is still alive thanks to the R&F keeper, who probably had a huge bet himself on Evergrande Shocked

Adding one bet for tomorrow:

Qingdao - Shijazhuang / Qingdao +0.5 @1.89 4/10

Qingdao's Alessandrini was surprisingly only suspended for one game after his red card against Hebei and will be available for them again, which is a huge boost. Another import, who was injured, might give his comeback for Qingdao as well, but only some minutes, nothing more to be expected.
For Shijazhuang there are some bad news, since one of their best chinese players had season-ending injury - and as said before, they already have quite weak chinese players and replacing the better ones is a difficult task. Considering all this, these odds for Qingdao not to lose look very nice and are worth a medium punt.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cycling Thread on: September 04, 2020, 12:17:41 PM
(...) but I don't think this will be a peloton sprint.

It's of course always possible, that the attackers will make it to finish, but for today I don't think so. Too many teams/sprinters still interested and the last 90kms are not really challenging (Kirsipuu already retired some years ago Grin). Quick Step will want to get that stage win for Bennett and they will surely be the main driving force, if it comes to echolons (they love doing that).

I think it will be reduced peloton sprint, if there is enough wind, maybe ~50 riders in first group, but lets see.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cycling Thread on: September 04, 2020, 08:34:49 AM
Landa tb Porte (1.33)
Carapaz tb Kuss (1.56)
Parlay @2.07

There wasn't a whole lot of value on Landa I guess, but he finished better than Porte, though both at the end of the group. Carapaz was easy.

For today:

Sagan Top3 @4.40 (Stake)
There is some wind expected in the final today, which could lead to echolons. Sagan is super strong in these situations, so he should be in the top group, where some sprinters might already have been dropped from. Even if not, Sagan can always finish Top3.

Bonifazio tb Viviani @2.28 (Pinnacle)
Viviani has some issue with his foot and with those expected winds, I don't see him staying in the front. If Bonifazio will be there in the end, is to be seen, but these are good odds against an not fully fit rider.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Strategies to apply on a betting exchange on: September 03, 2020, 07:42:15 PM
For OP can you make this thread more friendly with a non English speaking member like me?

Looks like OP has gone awol or is on a rather long vacation, was last online 3 weeks ago. I wouldn't rule out the possibility that he has gone broke or lost a lot with LTD. It is a working strategy, but you really have to be very selective with picking the right matches. It can work just going by stats, but works way better, when you know the league you are trading on. But then you have fewer matches to select from again Wink

Still think this thread (or rather the topic of it) could be super useful and OP did a great job with designing the first post, but as so often with sportsbetting/-trading, people lose interest fast or don't have the perseverance to keep going (with a good idea) once they face some adversity, have a losing run or whatever.

But maybe he will come back one day and bring things to life in here again Smiley

Bezüglich dieser BAND Sache habe ich heute eine Mail bekommen, dass CMC eine native BAND Adresse braucht, da es Probleme gibt Grin:

Quote
You belong to the winning participants of the first CMC Earn campaign with Band Protocol and you provided us with an ERC20 address.

Please excuse the delay in the distribution of your token rewards. This has also been our first campaign and we were very excited in launching it. Unfortunately, we realized only after the campaign that we will run into an issue in distributing ERC20 based tokens due to the high gas fees lately. A single transaction can cost up to 10 USD.

Hence, we would like to ask you to please provide us a BAND native wallet address instead of an ERC20 one. We will not be able to distribute ERC20 tokens.

Today, Germany - Spain, I have the spaniards AH +0,25 at 1.83 odds. A bit hard to predict, so my pick is based on the squad and possible starting XI  Tongue and IMO, Spain have the edge there, no?

I'll go for Germany to win against Spain and Slovenia to win against Greece

I thought about going with Germany win as well, but somehow I don't like their expected defensive line-up. According to Kicker, which has some differences from the line-up @tomahawk9 posted:

Trapp - Ginter, Süle, Rüdiger - Kehrer, Gündogan, Kroos, Gosens - Havertz, Werner, L. Sané

Süle is still coming back from torn ACL, Ginter I don't like at all, Trapp will be nervous I guess and this is a new formation all in all. Offensively I like it very much, so the bts bet from @Trofo looks good. Germany rarely fails to score at home and with this defense Spain should find the back of the net at least once as well.

-

I think I saw already two guys picking Slovenia in here, but I think Greece will not lose today. They started all over again already during EC qualifications and were able to get three wins in a row (only against Finland, Armenia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, but still). And as we all know, Greece can play good defense, if they put their focus on it. I am having my doubts, if Slovenia will be able to get much going offensively. Looks very draw-ish game for me, maybe 0-0.

In general all games seem to be super hard to predict (long international break, motiviation, players missing etc.).
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cycling Thread on: September 03, 2020, 09:39:15 AM
Small parlay for todays stage. The last climb is pretty easy, but the Col de la Lusette will give the riders some problems. Not sure, if it will be that easy to come back afterwards, if you are dropped there already.

Landa tb Porte (1.33)
Carapaz tb Kuss (1.56)
Parlay @2.07

Porte often finishes at the very back of his group; Landa isn't the most gifted sprinter there ever was, but at least he is always trying to finish in the first places of his group. Kuss will have to work a lot today and he is not looking at the GC anyway. Carapaz is only 0:41 down and would want to stay in contention. And for Ineos it's also important to have a backup plan, in case Bernal struggles.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football in China - The Chinese Super League on: September 03, 2020, 09:25:08 AM
Shenzhen - Shanghai Shenhua / Shenzhen AH0 @1.77 5/10

Same reasoning as the last bet against Shanghai: They are still missing their best player in El Shaarawy. Shenzhen is on a good run lately and should get a draw here minimum.

Guangzhou Evergrande - Guangzhou R&F / Evergrande ML (1.14)
Hebei - Shanghai SIPG / Shanghai ML (1.41)
Wuhan - Beijing / Beijing ML (1,56)
Parlay @2.508 3/10

Not a big fan of such parlays, but the 3 top teams just are in another league quality-wise. Beijing wasn't very convincing up until now, but showed a good performance in their last match crushing Qingdao 5-2, lets see, if they can back it up, they are super strong team if everything clicks for them.
