661  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to the Moon on: April 20, 2018, 09:02:43 PM
During the worldcup there will be more exposure, not just with Russian hotels accepting bitcoin but perhaps ticket touts will sell in btc as well! Not just in the dark markets but they could use mobile wallets for the transactions in the street.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why compare BTC to USD? on: April 19, 2018, 09:21:19 PM
Coinmarketcap and coingecko both allow you to change the currency to your home country's currency, but for simplicity as it s a globally traded currency it is easier to help compare prices if USD is used as the benchmark.
663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon fills patent to track Bitcoin users on: April 19, 2018, 09:19:07 PM
It's a good idea to help it to go mainstream and gain more trust from the public, but amazon would do better if they just created their own coin instead. If anyone wants privacy there are plenty of other good anonymous coins to choose from.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Coinbase and other Wallet services take all of our coins and run away? on: April 15, 2018, 10:48:59 AM
It has happened in the past which is why you should never store too much of your coins on the exchanges. Hold most of it on your own computer or an offline wallet, for exchanges just keep the amount you wish to trade with, an exchange can be hacked or closed at any time
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I will try to do this, and I need to double $ 14,000 in 2 weeks on: April 14, 2018, 10:17:01 PM
Well one way to do it is to invest it in XSPEC which is going to fork and create another coin called WISP. Anyone holding XSPEC will get equal amount of WISP just like bitcoincash. This will take place on 1 May so you need to go to cryptopia and stock up, then transfer it to the xspec wallet for the snapshot and forked wisp coins
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to earn PASSIVE INCOME with MASTERNODES on: April 13, 2018, 07:10:37 PM
A good masternode that is cheap right now to setup, and will be very profitable later this year is WAGERR. This will be the first privacy based P2P betting platform and is ready to be released this year. Coins will be in demand due to both the masternodes and wagering by participants.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want China be back into Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2018, 07:07:20 PM
They done this many times before like a pump and dump organisation. Ban bitcoin and then buy up when it falls, then say it is actually not banned and then sell when it pumps! This could be why bitcoin is rising again, insider knowledge that China is coming back into the game, and NEO will also pump a lot too!
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY DECLARED HALAL UNDER ISLAMIC LAW on: April 13, 2018, 07:04:23 PM
This is definitely the start of the next bull run. There are millions of wealthy Muslims just waiting for the right time to join in and now even those in strict Islamic countries can invest and move forward in the new crypto world. Buy now before it's too late!
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's time on: April 12, 2018, 08:38:37 PM
Damn right it is time, we've been waiting long enough! Been a long long winter made colder by the fact that we lost more than half our fortune! Time to turn this baby around, lets hope this small pump turns into a bigger pump.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Marinecoin spam on: April 12, 2018, 04:39:17 PM
By creating this thread you just gave them a reason to spam another place on the forum Cheesy Can't see what the benefit is of having an ordinary coin with no extra features being airdropped. Why would anyone want to buy it? At least deeponion has privacy features, but MTC has nothing.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thailand Has Accepted Bill In Setting Crypto Currency on: April 12, 2018, 04:34:44 PM
This isn't too bad, I like the part that says it doesn't apply to minority investors which I'm guessing means general public buying fractions of bitcoins and doing a bit of trading. It would be hard to police anyway so going after the big traders only sounds like a good plan
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Impact of George Soros trading Crypto on: April 11, 2018, 04:53:21 PM
We prefer not to have these whales who can manipulate the market, but right now a few billions is what we need to inject life into the crypto market so Soros and his crew will be welcomed. He picked the right time (i.e. now) to invest which shows he knows what he is doing, and others will probably follow him in.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How dare ETH to scramble for position with BTC? on: April 11, 2018, 04:51:01 PM
Arguably ethereum is better than bitcoin because it can be used for ICOs and other blockchain uses. Bitcoin is just a store of value but because it's name is more popular the value is worth more. I don't think it can ever compete 1 to 1 with bitcoin, eth is peaking in terms of maximum load so it won't be able to cope much further.
674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All cryptocurrencies are worthless alphanumeric characters dressed up and sold.. on: April 11, 2018, 04:46:37 PM
Same as data, it's just a series of 0s and 1s but when you put it together it becomes very useful. This is the new digital world and we need digital money, it is lucky that bitcoin was invented as it could have been something worse and centralised.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of verge on: April 10, 2018, 04:28:12 PM
It has been turned into a pump and dump coin by mcafee. It was pumped late last year and some people got super rich from it, now the train has left and moved on to other coins. Look elsewhere for non-pumped privacy coins like deeponion
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 3 Chinese coins that will be valued in the billions on: April 09, 2018, 04:18:40 PM
NEO is a safe investment, all of these ICOs will run along it's blockchain so it will jump up like ethereum. Also, thekey is potentially a billion dollar market cap coin, it might even be recognised by the Chinese government
677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $50,000 this year?? on: April 08, 2018, 12:27:21 PM
It would take some seriously good news for it to hit $50,000 this year. Not to say it is impossible, according to the charts it is very much possible, but it's hard to imagine based on the current situation. I think it will hit and surpass $50k next year, but right now I'd say around $25k is more likely
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum and bitcoin with similar charts? what do you think? on: April 08, 2018, 12:23:54 PM
Most exchanges will allow you use both Ethereum and bitcoin as the base coin for trading. Although they have different prices their use case on the exchange is the same so they're tied together. Ethereum is a more useful coin as it allows DAPPs, but bitcoin has a stronger value.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can Bitcoin help the developing world? on: April 08, 2018, 09:27:43 AM
Bitcoin is perfect for the developing world that have bad financial management. There is too much corruption in oil and mineral rich countries that only a handful of officials get rich while the people are poor. Bitcoin will solve their problems by taking control away from those people who embezzle their country's wealth.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin ethical? on: April 07, 2018, 09:55:38 AM
It is an opportunity for the young to use their technical knowledge and invest early to get rich later in life. The property boom is over and the older population benefited from it. Now it is the time for crypto to boom so they'd better get on board now before it is too late.
