How do you think, will states be able to regulate the crypto currency?
Nope, the only things they can regulate are some of the exit point from bitcoin to fiat and the exchanges I suppose you might get different stances like we do with Cannabis where a lot of states differ in their viewpoint but regulating Crypto it just will not happen.

you can read up on the POS (proof of stake) algorithm. It is designed to reward people that hold (stake) a certain amount of altcoins for a certain time.
This way, you can create passive income, however, it's only a limited number of altcoins that use POS, if you pick an altcoin to stake, and you gain 10% in one year, but in the same time, the altcoin's price goes down 50%, you end up with more altcoins but with less actual value.
There are a few POS coins out there but like Mocacinno said you could earn a certain percentage but then the coin may drop 50% or so, really there is no certainty with the POS coins if you are looking for something long term. The other way you could earn is by holding a few altcoins and see how they go.

Do you think there are only a bunch of core developers? There are hundreds or may be thousands of developers all around the world maintaing bitcoin. I dont think any apocalypse is near which would vanish all such developers.
There will always be people involved in the development of bitcoin, sometimes there are crazy ideas like bitcoin cash and gold but there will always be someone focused on the true bitcoin.

Plenty of people buying now before the fork for the BT Gold and afterwards a downfall for all people selling the BTC again. Either to reinvest in BTC afterwards or in other altcoin.
Agree, there will be a drop once people get their bitcoin bold and the alts they sold will be bought back, I don't think it will be a huge drop though.

Good question, Bittrex last time supported it but I can't remember if they announced it beforehand or not.

I don't think it is impossible at all, the rate we are going this could easily be the price in two years, even $10,000 by the end of this year is possible and has been predicted by a few people but who knows.

Since bitcoin there have been hundreds if not thousands of altcoins, some just a flash in the pan but then there are some which have a decent history and seem as though they will be around for a while.
With all the ICOs coming out there has been a shift from simply having a coin just for the sake of it to actual projects raising funds via an altcoin / token. I think this is where we will see real growth outside of bitcoin.

If you have the money then anytime is a good time to buy, ultimately we will see many ups and downs but the hope is that long term it will do extremely well.

The future does look good for bitcoin but also anything can happen, I would definitely suggest investing some into a few other coins to diversify and make sure that you have the best chance of making some return, putting all your eggs into the one basket could prove troublesome.

Hi all I have a problem. I made a withdrawal of my unobtanium from cryptopia to bittrex
The problem is that it takes 300 confirms to do the deposit ! With ~5 min / confirm And the coin will be delisted tomorrow the 20th of bittrex. So the deposit will be done too late
What will hapen ? What can I do ? I'm lost Thanks a lot by advance
You should be okay if you reach out to support and let them know the situation, they will not delete their wallet straight away once a coin is delisted just in case there are any issues, I don't know how long they would keep them for though but I think you will be fine if you reach out to support.

Hi guys, maybe it is silly question but does anyone know for sure will there be Bitcoin Gold coins even for people with less than 1 BTC in wallet with private key?
It does not matter how little you have, you will receive the exact same amount of bitcoin gold, the same as what happened last time with bitcoin cash.

I don't think it's just Wall street, there are many factors outside of Wall street that are pushing bitcoin, not everything revolves around Wall street 😁
It does look as though many in that world are starting to take notice of bitcoin and new money is coming in from the big boys.

There is a lot of talk about hitting $10,000 by the end of the year, I think this is quite achievable and would be a nice xmas present for a lot people.

Circle when they first started were great with bitcoin, you could instantly buy and withdraw via your debit card, then they ceased supporting the buying of bitcoin which was a real pain, obviously they use it behind the scenes but they used to be good but nowadays it doesn't seem that good anymore.

Bittrex wants my credentials, where is crypto anonimity?! I cant withdraw my funds! I beware to give my credentials to bittrex I think its not safely Any oppinions? Those days are long gone, if you are looking to draw out a large sum then you need to meet the KYC guidelines, this is the same across all legit exchanges and although it is a bit of a pain it is kind of the norm now.

With the upcoming bitcoin fork and the so called "dividend" that will be received thru bitcoin gold the price of BTC is on the rise. I am considering selling all my altcoins, even at a loss, so that i can buy more of them once bitcoin's price rises up higher.
What are your thoughts on this? Would this be a good strategy?
Could be a good move, depends on what you are holding. There will no doubt be a lot of people doing the same thing so the price of alts could go down a good bit ahead of the fork so this might be a good strategy, myself I am just going to hold on to what I have just in case

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin? is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?
I think one of the main reasons is lack of knowledge and the negativity that historically has been in the media, anyone that does just a tiny bit of research has no option but to be excited.
