661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge coin will be the future crypto spacecraft that will take you to the Moon. on: January 15, 2022, 04:25:47 PM
What do you think about it?
I can say nothing about that. The realization will need the time and it will not be done as soon as possible. So, did you think doge will be migrating so fast to the mars? Let's wait until the launch of doge satelite. That wil give us a clue whether this plan will be going as per the roadmap or not. So many parties are in competition to launch the crypto to the space and this is pretty interesting for anyone in the crypto market but this can be used to be sold to the traders. they will be buying this as rumour.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accept crypto payments on: January 14, 2022, 11:49:15 PM
that's a short term hype and no more. It seems like that this guy called elon musk was totally a doge fan. he didn't even care with shiba inu and he was feeling good with the price of tesla. It seems like the price is entering into the correction again. The doge coin has no utility usage and that's why elon was bring it to be accepted to pay tesla merch but remember that this will not make the price can sustain for long term at this level. The fact that utility is something really important for us and that's proven so many times that tokens without utility usage can't sustain for long term.
That's so difficult to give utility to the doge coin as it's blockchain didn't the same like the smartcontract blockchain.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about MuskyDoge? on: January 14, 2022, 02:54:27 PM
People know this so well as a garbage meme token. I don't know why meme token suppers are so addict with their meme tokens. They are creating so many promotion thread like you. To be honest the meme token supporters are die hard supporters. A token that used musk combined with doge will never looks attractive for anyone in here. I have seen so many meme tokens are doing the same kind of promotion like this and people aware if they are only doing marketing. What you have been mentioning above was make curious about where this musky doge get its doge coin and how it works.
meme token can't generate revenue to be distrubuted to the its holders and is this another ponzi scheme from the meme tokens? let's see
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether is centralized, is it worth holding on: January 14, 2022, 02:48:49 PM
I am afraid one day tether is going to freeze my coin or anybody's coin, the reason the coin that was frozen this year was frozen has not be known but may be it is a good reason, but I am thinking not to use USDT ever again because it is centralized.
I have been using USDT for years and i never encounter any problem with this asset and so far this is the safest asset to keep money reserved funds.
You have decided not to use USDT and then what's next? you have been answering your own question. Those frozen assets were related to the hacked cases. So many hacked cases happened and tether was securing their stable coins from the hackers.

What do you think about tether company having the power or ability to freeze any USDT of their choice. Is it a good idea?
It's not a problem and in some critical cases this function is very useful to make sure tether can do something once the worst case happen with any exchange site. This is also very helpfur for users who got affected by the hacked case
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or Layer 2 solution? on: January 10, 2022, 06:31:03 AM
Ethereum or Layer 2 solution?
I prefer layer 2 solution over ethereum blockchain as layer 1 blockchain.
Ethereum's Transition Fee Much Higher? As a result, layer 2 block chains like polygons or loopers have emerged. But with Ethereum 2.0, the transaction fee will be much lower. As a result, the need for Layer 2 may be exhausted.
The transition is not yet happening as per vitalik said in some articles if the upgrade was still around 50% done and it's still very far to be completed. Are you sure if ethereum 2.0 will be making the transaction will be even cheaper than layer 2? The result is still a big question.

The cryptocurrency is divided into two parts.

What do you think?
that's not a big problem coz that's a good solution for L1 blockchain as it will have more alternative blockchains.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it always safe to connect your (metamask) wallet? on: January 10, 2022, 04:43:19 AM
There are so many websites these days that require you to connect. I've been connecting other wallets with low balances to test things out, but there doesn't seem to be much information around on what is good practice here.
This is a big mistake that was always doing by anyone. They were connecting their wallet to the many websites that they didn't know about what was the reputation of such website.

My big balances are secured by Ledger so I suppose I don't need to worry about the coins simply being stolen without my approval, but what if I connect the Ledger to approve some coins and it steals other coins or uses the approval for something else. Is any of this possible?
Yes it is possible to happen as you are approving the scammers to access your wallet. You didn't even know whether there was a backdoor or not on such platform. That's why connecting to our wallet to the unreputable site is a very big mistake.
When should I not connect to a website?
When you're connecting your wallet to the reputable website and you can do that anytime because it has proven its reputation but you should never connect your wallet to the unreliable website.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will funds rotate into privacy/anonymity coins? on: January 09, 2022, 11:19:47 PM
I think that the cmc is clearly expaining everything about that. So many privacy coin is getting dumped https://coinmarketcap.com/view/privacy/

Compared to the new trend of tokens (metaverse) the marketcap of privacy coin is far less than metaverst tokens. People didn't even really care about privacy these days. Even if you are using privacy coin but whne it comes to the cash out your money and you will always need centralized exchange site to cash out your money even to local currency and what's the different with not using the privacy coin?

You need to compliant with regulation and identity verification on cex. Even when binance was forcing its users to comply with regulation and verify their identity and they were verifying their identity. They are not even rejecting it.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: January 09, 2022, 01:04:45 AM
have you ever tried moving assets using Polygon/matic ?, I think it's also cheaper than using Bnb or Doge.
Yeah, each transaction in polygon needs only a few cents and it was around 1 - 4 cents but in another blockchain like doge coin and BNB that need more than 10 cents or on average transaction 20 - 30 cents.
Polygon is even scalable than them all and that's why sandbox is trying to migrate their assets into the polygon. They know that this transaction fees will be helping so much to its users.
Remember NFT game will be actively creating a transaction in the network and when players are very active and that needs a scalable blockchain with cheap fees to handle it.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you use stable coins? on: January 09, 2022, 12:49:01 AM
Hi, I'm a normie who finally got into crypto in nov 2021. But I don't get stable coins. When you sell your crypto, why don't you just convert back to fiat and put that fiat into your bank account right away? I worry about stable coins becoming un-pegged; this is a big concern for me; it's an extra worry that you don't have if you just convert back to fiat right away.
It's caused by some of people prefer to hodl stable coin instead of cashing their money to their bank account and if you're active trader and you will know what's the purpose of doing this. It's to anticipate the dump that can occur anytime and the traders can buy more token when the price goes lower again. If you're feeling worry and just withdraw your money to your bank account and others may have other opinion.

I can see using stable coins as a trading pair to purchase alts on a dex but I don't understand holding stable coins for longer periods of time like weeks, months or years as a store of value; to me this feels way too risky. What am I missing?
You're not missing it but remember that so many people are also become active traders and when they are believing in the stable coin and what's wrong?

Might be different if you could do a lot of your every-day normal shopping with stable coins but right now you can't.
so what's the different with doing daily trade? if you're feeling worry and then just don't use it. that's already fix your problem.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is New Bounties are not paying Good Rewards? Real Or Trusted on: January 08, 2022, 01:33:06 AM
At this point of time here in the forum of bitcointalk and Altcointalk as well are not paying a good rewards to all their participants in terms of distribution nowadays.
That depends on what kind of project that you have joined before. There are bunch of good project paid very good money to the bounty participants as per the current rate. I can mention a lot of them now too if you want. If you are joining in the legit bounty and you will be getting paid with nice amount of money but that depend on your analyzation.

Only few of the bounties are paying good in the end. Meaning, they are few bounties now are becoming successful in the end of their campaign, that's the real thing happens now.
Yeah and that's why people should do a deep research before try to join in any bounties. This to make sure if they will not be trapped by the scam bounties again and create another complaints about that.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The NFT equivalent to a pyramid scheme on: January 08, 2022, 12:07:24 AM
How's that equivalent to a pyramid scheme. Cos you buy some stupid colored words then list it twice as much as you bought it. I call that foolishness.
He maybe a newbie in the NFT, that NFT already created as a joke NFT and he was giving a serious feedback. This may disgusting for some people as what he was writing on his sentence refers to the people who bought and then sell their NFT at a very high price compared with the price when they were buying their NFT.

OP, that's not a pyramid scheme and you should not take anything to be related into the pyramid scheme and it's not all of things always using the pyramid scheme just because the sellers are selling their NFT even higher. that's NFT marketplace. Anyone can put their auction to get the best price
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BMs, does bounties help the project? on: January 07, 2022, 12:17:09 AM
That's fair, I meant for projects who solely don't pay bounty hunters just because bounty results didn't turn out as they expected. They could still be having tge, etc.
TBH bounty was only for pushing the marketing but the dev of project will be playing a lot in this. A project like payaccept already raised almost 2 millions USD after they have been running bounty as promotion for a few months. I mean the hunter didn't even get paid even a few cents while the developers have raised million dollars from the investors.
Basically, the dev can learn from the mistake about what things that make them didn't reach the minimum funding but as you said that these days there are also so many launchpad and this can also help them to push funding to their target. Don't you see AAVE? this project was doing the biggest bounty in the world as a participant get paid more than 2 millions USD with the current rate https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2078686. Vulcan forged, Hex, Utrust and many tokens listed on binance have ever done bounties as a part of its promotion in here.

674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PAYT, bounty scam. on: January 06, 2022, 06:24:25 AM
Nowdays a lot of bounty are not paying Let me clear few fact first if any  bounty doesn't pay , then definetly it doesn't have any fault of bounty manager, it is the team of the fault And we all should give hate to that project instead of giving hate to the B.M that's personally my opinion only
Remember what is happened with student coin Grin it is only possible due to the bounty manager and community
I have been a part of this bounty and manager was doing his job perfectly but once he was contacting the team and the team was accusing him with fake accusation of the manager was doing manipulation to the result of campaiang and the team didn't accept the result that already finished by the old manager and then the team was hiring someone to did new calculation for them and i know that this manager was a part of the team itself who didn't have any intention to pay the bounty manager. I have heard that from so many old investors who have invested in this team if they have scammed by this team too.
The participants were blaming the manager caused by the got manipulated by the team
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 06, 2022, 04:57:05 AM
All crypto is dropping now because of FED. It seems that it’s the start of the bearish market.
Bitcoin has been increasing a lot on its price and for me this is just a common thing when we are facing another bearish trend by bitcoin. It seems like that the bearish trend has been starting since a few weeks ago and don't you think this too late to sell your money to the market? Im sure that you know this so well. If you wanna go out from the market caused by panic sell and you can do that.

Should we sell all crypto now?
If you're thinking that you re facing a small lose from your investment and you can cut loss your investment. I've been loosing more than 500k usd now due to the this bearish trend but im fine with it. Im a diamond hand. Market is getting rekt and this needs long term to recover the price of bitcoin and rest of market.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Have we opened the bear season? on: January 05, 2022, 05:57:14 AM
Do you think this may have happened?
A simple thing is you can take a look at the bitcoin chart and that will tell you everything about market and when the bearish trend was starting. We are in the bearish season and i can say that if that's too difficult to anticipate the bearish trend as bitcoin keeps pushing the altcoins to go even deeper than this time. Im thinking about we are in the lowest level of bitcoin and it will be starting to wake up again soon.
People are also contributing to push the price to lowest area caused by they are panic selling all of their assets to the market.
Some people are also thinking this is the best time to farm more legit tokens with big discount from the market. We are in the bearish season right now and no doubt
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one has a Ethereum-like potential? on: January 05, 2022, 05:32:29 AM

I will pick terra and polygon from your list and here's why

terra : https://www.investing.com/analysis/terra-touches-100-following-solana-and-avalanche-rally-200612698

The terra ecosystem is growing so fast, it can enters into the top 10 CMC so fast.

Polygon must become the best pick after terra even this is second layer solution for ethereum but it has the same potential to be the same like bsc but the only problem is if that lack of demand.

I can't deny that the ecosystem of owned by terra, avax and sol even bigger than poly.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some questions about the Tron coin. on: January 04, 2022, 06:11:49 AM
What is wrong about the Tron coin?
Lack of demand as the result from the lack of utility of tron coin. So many dapps developers didn't wanna build their dapps in tron ecosystem and that forces so many parties migrating to the another blockchain like avalanche.

Why its price is low and how about its potential? Does it make sense to HODL it?
It's as a reflection from the demand that was leaving the market. People are preferring to sell their tron to be used to bought another tokens. You can see that how polygon as the new blockchain can surpass tron easily. It was also over performing tron in term of adoption by the developers. I thought that this gives you a small insight about what will be happening with the tron blockchain soon.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start learning about metaverse? on: January 04, 2022, 05:21:41 AM
Google search brings up a few options, but I don't know which is the best learning material. So please help me bitcointalk's hive mind.  Grin
You can start to learn about the metaverse through binance academy. https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/what-is-the-metaverse

Binance academy was also giving so many materials to learn the metaverse and NFT as a part of it. It was also giving a very good explanation and course to learn more about metaverse. I thought that there's no a legit source other than binance academy to learn about metaverse and the components of metaverse itself.
