Anyone using a VPN able to view bitmain site?
663  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [0PH] ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool US/DE/CN on: January 20, 2019, 08:40:14 PM
Great advice now that the pool is smaller. I would specifically move the hash into CKpool after a block find which is mostly likely what philipma is meaning.

HAHA... end of crypto Innosilicon A9+ ZMaster
ROI 20-24 month

Are you REALLY talking about ROI in the mining Huh!?!?!??!?!
It is not right. Mining is aaaaaalllll about hodling.
If you sell your mining rewards, you will never ROI ...

Mining is not about holding.

It can be about:

supporting a network.
enjoyment through hobby
driving profitability as a business

Or many other things/reasons to people

Holding can be a piece of that and is a viable strategy through a bear market but still though have to pay for power at a minimum and ROI is important for any investment and should be looked at individually from a holding strategy.
665  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 8 official specs released on: January 19, 2019, 04:05:41 PM
Great concept, though I don't ever see products like this having efficiencies in a tolerance range for users here. I see this as a great way for average person to reduce the cost of residential power use. Also, the hash rate is higher than I was expecting, HF is probably on point with firmware to help in the future.

Might have to talk to some apartment managers/building developers about installing these. Portland is growing pretty fast. Wink

hub looks sick, is it two bricks, one for each column of ports?
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mine.Farm.Buy- Asic Hardware Broker on: January 18, 2019, 04:29:17 PM
We have set up a BTCpay server for BTC and lightning payments. We aren't able to integrate into our website unfortunately because of our hosting provider but none the less intend to utilize this to enhance our services the best we can.

To celebrate we will be donating half of our commission (divide equally) from BTC sales to BTCpayserver, LND, Zap wallet, and Electrum wallet projects for their work and support getting us up and running. This promotion ends February 16th, 2019.

Mine on.

Yea, I don't think Bitmain is going to be too picky right now with sales. Wink
670  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Now that usb sticks are being sold by sidehack here is a new usb hub thread. on: January 17, 2019, 01:28:19 AM
Nice, the newpacs have been flawless for me on the gs hub as well and 2pac I throw on there too. I only get zombies on the 10 port 5A hub I bought from amazon which only has 4 2pac's on it now and still gives me issues. I thought about trying a brick but 6 pin from psu just works well where I have mine set up and with 1600w I can run a few of sidehacks hubs.

Glad everything is working out. I also heard you caught my Easter egg I left for you. Glad you saw it before it got pulled. Wink
671  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: This is a reliability thread may not keep it open long. on: January 16, 2019, 04:45:30 PM
The pair of T15s I was able to get from batch 1 have no problems so far with 9 day uptimes. It not really enough timewise to go on, but so far these have been rock solid.

That's good to know. Efficiency wise they're on par with the S15 in LPM from what I've been reading.
672  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Now that usb sticks are being sold by sidehack here is a new usb hub thread. on: January 16, 2019, 04:43:24 PM
Only at the poker table. Looks good, are those case fans on the sides of box not powered?
673  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: (Review/Guide) WhatsMiner M10 33.0 Th/s, 2145W Bitcoin (SHA-256) ASIC miner on: January 16, 2019, 04:39:28 PM
Yea, hoping to get something soon. My link clicks ----> purchases are sparse now in this market. So lots put off. I'll probably be looking at cooling prep for summer or just get one efficient unit or two if I'm able. Just a tough time after holiday and car issues.

M10 is top of the list, since the db's are pretty low on LPM/efficiency setting from philipma's reads.
674  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: This is a reliability thread may not keep it open long. on: January 16, 2019, 04:28:39 PM
That sounds pretty sweet. Maybe well see some info on the T3 or another batch of m10s but for the price right now with decent power cost the m10 31T is a pretty sweet deal.

From the S15/T15 thread sounds like batch one and two are a bit problematic? Might go do a quick peek at the support section here.
675  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: TRIPLE-1, Inc. 株式会社 松島 KAMIKAZE 7nm SHA-256 ASIC on: January 16, 2019, 08:11:28 AM
Fanatic I was hoping this thread would die. Wink
676  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: This is a reliability thread may not keep it open long. on: January 16, 2019, 08:07:18 AM
The M10S is pretty big, it does have 140mm cooling fans but only 3 hashing boards.

The Innosilicon T2Ts are actually larger than the M10S and also come with 140mm fans.

The T2T32T or all versions? I never to get to see these things thanks to mostly drop ships.

Philip you expanding or taking s9's offline?
677  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcing the WhatsMiner M10S 44TH @ 60W/TH or 55TH @ 65W/TH SHA-256 16nm Miner on: January 16, 2019, 08:05:51 AM
M10S has been out of stock awhile now. You'll have to buy form a reseller.
678  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: (Review/Guide) WhatsMiner M10 33.0 Th/s, 2145W Bitcoin (SHA-256) ASIC miner on: January 16, 2019, 08:04:06 AM
We source from Pango ourselves, they always have a coupon in cart which is used unless bulk. A line to Whatsminer has been tiresome for a while.

Did I complain about my power cost in this thread either? I'll spare everyone.
679  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Now that usb sticks are being sold by sidehack here is a new usb hub thread. on: January 16, 2019, 06:16:07 AM
gcnelson with some sickness. I was gonna post my set up but now I'll have to ask for more media "samples" to compete. I did request a gs hub since they have the sticker or etching on them compared to sample I, err we got. Wink
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Obelisk SC1 Gen1 and Gen2 Preorders on: January 14, 2019, 10:06:14 PM
This buy is still live. It will be the earliest access anyone can get for the next batch of SC1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 units (psu included). It's nice for International buyers to join the group buy since this is a domestic manufacturer and we wont have to import then distribute.

We'll finally have our btcpay server live in a few days but still are taking crypto payments manually. There is maximum order quantity meaning Obelisk is controlling the output of these devices, profits should be nice for next few months we expect.
