661  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 07, 2015, 09:40:19 PM
From Paybase blog:   https://blog.paybase.com/paycoin-and-the-20-base-an-overview/

"More importantly, we stand behind Paycoin – and we seek to uphold the promises we make."

Change "make" to made and we are making progress.

yeah i know big can always be a possibility like you said but good lord there is so many people thatsay they are banned for no reason. They say perma ban or shaddown ban. I do not know what shadow ban is but sounds nasty still lol. I just figured with so many people saying it must have a grain of truth somewhere. I might go there lol check it out

Shadow ban. You can post but no one sees your posts but you. You can talk to yourself for days. No notice or warning. Only at hashtalk ... go figure.

663  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitStamp - hacked and down on: January 07, 2015, 05:53:12 PM
We won't see any "panic selling" till Bitstamp reopens. Then I'm sure some frustrated customers will cash out.

If Bitstamp remains closed prices may go up in the short term due to fewer btc on the market. Already we are seeing this. Long term prices will be down.

The stolen coins still remain a question.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurrency do you have the most faith in the long term? on: January 06, 2015, 07:57:17 PM
At this point, I would have to say Ripple (xrp). Seems to be the one with any kind of legitimacy.

Nothing says legitimacy like a giant premine arbitrarily distributed by a for-profit company.

Boo this man! BOOOOO!

I'm going by performance to date. Ties with banks. Ever increasing value. How many other coins have that going for them?

I bought Ripple just to play with. My xrp is looking pretty healthy now unlike all of the other coins I own. Surprised me too.

Ripple's price has gone up. I am only addressing "legitimacy."

Fair enough. Please list coins with banking ties so I can buy some.

668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammed by Paycoin, looks like they were copying Ziftrcoin? on: January 06, 2015, 04:25:20 AM
"Re: Scammed by Paycoin, looks like they were copying Ziftrcoin?"

I wouldn't go around telling people ziftrcoin is the daddy of paycoin if you want to sell this stuff.
669  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitStamp - hacked and down on: January 05, 2015, 07:51:34 PM
Do any of these situations end well? Gox, Vircurex, Cryptorush, Mintpal.

Only one that I know of: Poloniex was hacked but paid everyone back.

Reading

Quote
The balances of Cinni people had on mintpal.(If you want to be on this list you have to send me your mintpal login info so i can make sure you are telling the truth. You have to send the pm before the launch of Stakecoin)
Why not just ask screenshots instead of personal information, like login and password?
Or any other way to prove that they are indeed the holders of those coins?

What if X person had 100 CINNI and 10 BTC on their accounts?

Exactly. And now you can't even access your mintpal account.

It's none of my business but do you really need half a dozen vod hate threads? Its obsessive. Relax bud.

That explains the crash. Someone dumping stolen bitstamp btc.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) = Federal Reserve on: January 05, 2015, 05:20:38 AM
They are sure cleaning house at hashtalk. Long time members are being banned and shadow banned. Threads and posts deleted. I'm pretty sure Gaw must be situated in North Korea.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: January 05, 2015, 12:10:45 AM
honestly- when the market hit like 3.50 something I was sooooooooooo tempted to buy a shit load of XPY because I know it's going to bounce at least 30% or something like that, and then I thought: No.

Of course, I still wish I had stolen earned that 30% of the chaos that is that crapstorm, but the truth of the matter is it's totally gambling. The project is doomed if only because what GAW has done (promising the $20 floor) is simply illegal, and then was illegal when they didn't follow through with it anyway. As I have absolutely no way of knowing when the hand of the law will make it's appearance (and it WILL make it's appearance) I thought it better to just avoid it all together.

The con artists and vultures are out in numbers though. So for those who have already been conned- don't lose the skin off your back as well.

Good post. Not the time to be playing "catch the hot potato".

675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Paycoin (XPY) Failed on: January 04, 2015, 05:30:18 PM
Im not ready to give up on it yet but then again it could be wishful thinking. I maybe gambled $200-300 total in it.  I know some people who pumped Thousands! into this

It IS wishful thinking. Very soon you would be wishing you would have sold now.
The current price itself is bloated. All those thinking it has failed hasn't seen the epic sinking its going to engage in.

The only thing keeping this coin afloat right now is the hashtalk people who will not accept the coin's failure. Once they run out of money the price will plummet more.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: January 04, 2015, 05:18:40 PM
Gaw does not accept paycoin at their own business. Shows how much faith they have in their own coin.

If anything; he is dumping paycoin for btc. This has been suspect since xpy hit exchanges.

He could not have been so naive to think the coin would succeed after the accusations of fraud and scam resulting from his broken promises and non-deliveries.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ++ Steal My Bitcoin Wallet & Rob Me Blind! ++ on: January 03, 2015, 11:05:35 PM
wallet.dat honeypot would be cool. A little surprise for thieves and hackers.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Wolf of GAW Street on: January 03, 2015, 09:12:09 PM
Yes. There is lots of blame being thrown around. The truth IMO:

Gaw brought down Paycoin all by itself. Gaw made promises they did not keep or intend to keep imo. The resulting dump by angry holders ensued.

You can't blame btctalk, reddit, twitter, or the man-in-the-moon for that.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: January 03, 2015, 04:00:29 AM
I've never seen a coin crash this fast and this hard. Not even a decent dead cat bounce. This speaks volumes.

I'm stuck with some mined coins but no way in hell am I buying any.   Cheap coins are useless if you can't sell them.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAW-Miners][XPY] Paycoin ( 40 Phash ) on: January 02, 2015, 07:35:31 PM
So this means this coin is going down for now? is that why it is crashing like this?  Huh I actually had big hopes for this coin..

To make a long story short. GawCeo promised from the day Paycoin was born that its price would be held at $20 at, the yet to come, Paybase. Everyone knew they had the resources to do it.
Well ... he didn't come through and the dumping continues. Who knows where the bottom will be .. even $2 to $4 might be optimistic. Good chance the coin will die after all the commotion.
I have a few coins too but I'm resigned to riding the choo choo to the bottom. You never know Gaw could turn things around ... lol.
