Keeping an eye on BTC strong levels. $10400 and $11400 breakouts may change the game

Next short is for BTC. Increased the position after a strong support breakout

Hey Mark,

Would you be able to explain what kind of trading you are doing. It seems that the price is going down on this position, but you are making money.

Is this what margin trading is about?

Hello mate!

Let me explain it as gambling.

1) Here I went short. It means that I bet that the price go down. It decreased, so I was right, that is why I earned.
In other words, when I bet that the price go down, I sell the asset by, let it say $10. I believe that it will be $6. It becomes $6 (I was right), and I buy this asset by a lower price. Therefore, my gain is the difference ($4).

When I go long, the picture is opposite. I bet that the price increases I buy an asset at the price of $10. It becomes $15 and I sell it at a higher price. The difference is $5.
Long position example:

***

These are the success cases. If I'm mistaken, I have to lose. But to manage this stuff, several strategies are applied (personally I trade intraday. mostly apply patterns, spesifically price action. do not really keen on indicators...)

If you have more questions, do not hesitate to ask!

I see some of your analysis in this forum, I think you have expertise in reading charts / candles.
I want to subscribe to your analysis and get some analysis about trading.
Why don't you make a telegram group, I think it's easier?

Hello!
Yes, I am thinking of it. Probably will create a group or sth, will make an announcement
Currently, I'm on the road, traveling, so would do this a bit later, but agree, the idea is great
I would be very happy if your plan is realized quickly, more and more people will benefit from your information. I support you, most readers here might agree with this idea.

Thanks a lot for your support!
Working already on the content plan, will get back form the trip and realize it.

Hey.  I'm Mark, a full time trader. I will publish here my usual trades and any trading stuff I find useful (e.g. price analysis). This is result of several years of experience and the hints shared by my friends working at hedge fund. I've never believed that trading can become such a solid income source, but it's all possible.  Probably the info being posted here will be useful for you and also will motivate me more to push myself beyond my limits.

It's funny how some people would think that day trading is easy because they see those are doing it full time and they now wants to jump on it and leave their office work to become a full time day trader. If you are one of those that are thinking such, maybe just because you saw ops post and you now think it is easy, stop thinking like that because this is a lot of work and if you're not careful you're going to be losing.

Day trading requires a lot of work before you can get perfect in it. So if you are considering to be a trader, i will advise you to first start it as part time job and see how much ypu can make from it, if you're okay, then you can start considering going full time into it.

Yeah. This is a good suggestion.
As for ops.. looks like he is experienced enough to leave the job

But that's tremendous work...
I think it really needs you to be risk taker and this ability is very important in the crypto market. People might feel insecure to leave their jobs and get involved in the crypto trading but I think once you pass this limit of restriction, you can get started and can make money slowly and gradually. That being said, it is a good idea to trade crypto but you also need to have plan B for daily expenditure.

Exactly. Even having your job leaved you'd better have a plan for emergency cases
Thus, you apply Risk management in your live as well

Congratulations, You made a huge profit, so it's better to quite the job. But not everyone is good at trade like you so I am not in leaving the job side. I will be waiting to see some of your trading technique here! 12 BTC profit I can't even dream! Good job, mate!
with 12 btc you can establish your own business in addition to trading. but that is my dream if I get lucky like you. and leaving work is the best way, because no matter how small we set up a business, we are still the boss

With the 12 BTC which is more than 130K USD at this moment, I can easily set up a new offline business! Though Bitcoin price will go more higher and if it reaches at 15K USD then I would choose to sell 6 BTC and another 6 BTC will remain the holder portfolio. Besides online trading, we need to build up something in offline! That could be farming, shop, marketplace!

Definitely agree. It is about wise money management

Closed long position on $BTC (opened yesterday).
Waiting for more movements, that's getting more interesting

My logic is, if you can make 12 btc through trading, why you still need to open other bussiness? Just stick with your trading strategy and keep improve your skills rather than open another bussiness which you can't make sure you can make profit from that

trade there's risk to loss preview profits, not bad idea to open another bussiness for an extra income

The idea is that business brings also risks and troubles. And losses. It is interesting as well to realize yourself in it and get extra profit, but trading gives you more freedom and absence of some not very pleasant moments typical of business, spesifically at the first its stages

Anyway, I support the idea of extra income in case of black swans... that's why have an "emergency exit" to other area to work at

Consider it to be a wise idea.
Did you catch recent BTC moves?

Definitely yes.

Long it!
Use rollbacks to increase the position.
Still in long, using trailing stop.

Here is my trading performance for a couple of month. The major conclusion is that all this is possible. Just treat trading in a right way.
