Hi,

I recently finished Poker tournament.
Everything is good, because once again managed to win. Smiley
However, when I played something strange happened - see screenshot:

Edit: It is Texas Holdem Poker.

I only got one card. I folded. But I do not know how others could play with just one card?

Anyone have something similar?

had the same thing a few times and just reloaded the page

I tried playing poker wearing a crash helmet once.Lost my btc and ended up headbutting the wall a few times so I guess that made things a bit safer

Is there any way to set the transaction fees to a percentage like 0.1-0.5%, to ensure staking/mining remains profitable without coin supply inflation?

668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 13, 2016, 10:06:34 AM
No safe way to gamble. Its all risk and that risk cant be really calculated or minimised apart from reducing your stakes and being more diverse with the types of games you play. Its all luck and the house edge and volume of platers having rolled the dice before you and not having cleaned out the prizes before you spin the wheel etc
669  Economy / Services / Re: Send a postcard from Ireland on: February 13, 2016, 10:03:05 AM
Greetings fellow bitcoiners

I am currently working in Ireland which is very scenic and beautiful and recently my friend back home in the states asked me to send his buddies a postcard from here pretending it came from him as a joke making them think he was holidaying in europe so i thought it would be an idea to offer this to anyone who wants the same done for a modest fee.

basically I will buy the postcard and write your message and sign it your name(you can send email a rough idea of your writing style if you want)and post it from here.

price .02 btc

I pm'd you about sending someone one of those postcards for me

yes i installed a new wallet and put in the correct backed up .dat file but didnt spend anything because the OP tells us not to until the upgrade is complete so I dont know what to do about it now.I have the private key but dont want to use it until the blockchain is correct etc.Does anyone know what else may be the problem?

My guess then is that you renamed your backup something else when you saved it like "xbcwallet" or something other than wallet and when you inserted it into your executables it wasnt recognised or the default blank wallet took over due to it still being named wallet while backup has some other name.

Reopen your executables by searching for roaming>appdata>bitcoinplus and open the database and see if there are 2 wallets by checking if the backup maybe has some prefix or other extended name and if you think that is the case remove the one from there to a safe place outside the database and rename the one you think is the backup to just  wallet and close it up and open up your wallet-qt and see if that solves the problem but back up your current wallet before doing this also. Also check your receiving addresses on your new wallet to see if it corresponds with your old address first and if it doesnt it means the backup is not active anyway.

My bad!I looked at the address and you were right because the address is not the same as what I have been send ing to from poloniex and my wallet was indeed inserted as xbcwallet so when I renamed that one to wallet and removed the other it showed correct balance.THANK YOU!!

lol I have made the same mistake a few times myself  Smiley

Wallets will have no connections during the course of the upgrade

I have over 300 xbc in my wallet but my balance is showing 0 for some reason? How do I get my balance back??

erm..how did you manage to lose them exactly?Did you spend them??

How could I spend them when the wallet is down and I was looking for an answer not another question. Are you not supposed to be solving the problem instead? Huh

I meant did you try to spend them but anyway my question is how exactly did this happen.Did you uninstall the wallet without backing up first(I noticed one of your earlier posts on the forum)or did you send them anywhere from the wallet? These are all valid questions btw.You can use your private key if you have it to get your balance back for the address it was "lost from" when the chain starts moving again or you may have forgotten to put in your back up if you reinstalled a new wallet. It does not automatically back up because a new wallet would have a new address by default.

And actually I am not supposed to be doing anything because we dont get paid to do anything and you have more xbc than I do by the way and most of mine are in limbo also until things are sorted out.Any further questions just ask or pm me  Smiley

The download links doesnt work and the link provided on the site is only an empty zip file with nothing in it
So it's a scam? If so, why BitcoinScripts still does not have a negative feedback?
Does anyone download any of the scripts and check if there is any backdoor?
All download links are already fixed, and empty zip was caused by faulty server.
Absolute rubbish! The links NEVER worked and still are only empty zip files. You were also asked to email them countless times which you never did and simply now ignore any attempts to contact you.You have been given almost 2 weeks now to address the issue and have refused to make things right.

Thank you for information. It looks like we have scammer on board.
However, to point his trust as negative we need some proof or reference. By now your informations will warn potential clients enough.

Let see how will look respond from OP.
My advice is to give vouch to some trusted user to check if scripts exist and everything is correct.

He already sent me all the links he was given to test and none of them work. The last downloads he got had nothing only empty zip files.

Giving out vouch copies doesnt really work either because there is nothing to stop a scammer giving over a valid copy to a trusted member to test and verify and then play the same games with regular customers and discrediting their complaints by referring to the fact they had a copy tested by the trusted member. In fact by having someone vouch for one valid copy only strengthens the scam if it were a scam.

@jjmv if your wallet syncs now I sent you a few micro transactions so the first one is 936b6e2f5ef3edfd9b12518fc3aed1b0e909c64a2bb89933ea0f0748f5c9a4a3 and last one will be 69a494a85d9dc8f9c7b9e73b31d73c530257d1e33db4036dfec42e1f2300d25a

I am fully synced up to the latest block but some transactions are failing to confirm and the time difference between each block is still unrealistic so things are not right by any means. There are major offset differences somewhere down the line and I am noticing the irregularities in the debug.

Fully synced to 1093 now but 31 minutes since 1092
