hey guys, a friend has been experiencing some problems, he hadn't updated his blockchain wallet for a while. He downloaded new wallet, even deleted app folder, reinstalled, etc, let it sync, but when he replaces with old .dat, there appear to be transactions, but he doesn't have his old balance, just 31 coins out of thousands. How can he repairwallet, and what else can he do?

Here's my experience for those of you who may also be "small" BTCD miners.
Running 2x 60GH/s BFL miners
Sat on CryptoSkills for 2 days and got almost nothing. Plus I'm not thrilled with the tone of his communications here so decided to switch.
Tried some of the others I saw here:

Pool Hashrate: 169.29 TH/s
Don't think I can pull my weight, never got any traction there.
btcd.poolto.be
Pool Hashrate 20,045.38 GH/s
Small pool. No fee. But the real problem for me was the efficiency for my miners. It never got above 50%. Way too many invalid shares.
btcd.pool.mn
Pool Hashrate: 193.67 TH/s
Bigger pool. 1% Fee
This was the one I stuck with. For my miners at least this is working best. YMMV.
My efficiency jumped from 50% to 94% here. Share rate and earnings are 6x higher.
No affiliated with any of these.. just a crypto noob trying to make may way.
It is very strange, i have less than 3% rejects on poolto be, less than 5 on pool mn so would say both good for me but i stick with poolto be as there are less miners so when we hit a blok i get more than 0.0some amount |

Hi Mined with 3.2 TH/s for 5 hours and i didnt get any payouts? Is there an issue at your end? are you still processing payouts?
So dear rhkazani do you know that you need to mine and find a block in the pool to get a payout? (after 100 confirmations of course) I'm gonna stamp out the pool TX ids and you can send me you ADDRESS SO I CAN CHECK AN REVEAL TO PUBLIC IF YOU ARE JUST FUDDING OR NOT.......................  do it he is only trying to make your pool look bad. probably the owner/worker on another pool. its petty to be doing such things. Not really i also had some issues with that pool yesterday, had over 50% rejects, tested rigs, on 2 other pools and had less than 10% and now i am on poolto.be and have less than 3%. So i think something is not right in that pool Well you were mining when there were 150 TH/s on our pool and maybe you were pointed to port with diff 256. You know (cause you're here since launch) that we set up an higher diff port then...and we hosted so many miners...receving complaints only from 4/5 people is quite "normal" or "acceptable" i think- ... Yes i am here since launch and i know you had diff ports but like i said many pages ago i tried on every port, and i am not fuding as i don't have favourite pool here(xhash) so i mine on the pool that works best for me |

Any word on a multipool that will pay out in BTCD?
Is there much interest in it? I can make one if there is. This coin is so hot right now, people are going to be wanting it when PoS hits and it becomes that much rarer. I guess that is only 5k blocks away eh... I'll get on it then. Stay tuned. Awesome! That will be so great man. If you are the first one and keep us updated, the dev may add it to the op that a multipool is coming, which will definitely build hype and guarantee you miners the first minute after you go live  Well, I had one already staged for another coin which screwed me over so the frame work is already there. That's fantastic. If you could get it launched before PoW ends, so GPU miners could hop on board as well buying coins from exchanges...that would really be something When is PoW expected to end? At the rate it's going, with hashrate continually increasing, it could honestly be today. We'll see though. I don't think it will be today There is no chance to end today, but it could tomorrow |

Don't know if it's going down that much. The diff is increasing like crazy, at a sudden moment, it's not profitable anymore for multipools, so dumping will stop. Also 6000 blocks left * 80 = 480000 coins. At the current price is 174BTC = not that much many of those 6000 blocks can be pos blocks |
