661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 13, 2022, 06:38:03 PM
Most chances we will not have any big surprise in group stage but with things are moved into knock out then surely few surprises can happen because many teams are capable of giving surprises, and we can't predict right now about these results with every one is talking about the Netherlands and Belgium here most chances Netherlands can go into last four but after this they have never been lucky to have better results even their quality is at their best, but their luck is surely not good as they need with Belgium is also having quality, but things are not looking good for them to have better result for going at the top I am preferring Croatia because they are better and capable of giving shocking results in any condition odds may be never been important as bookmakers mostly going with their own system.
We have seen even group stages having some sort of shocking results before, but most of the time you are right that it won't be shocking too much. Knock out stages could be shocking because it’s just one game, meaning that teams who are better and favourites, could underrate their opponents and end up losing and reversing that in the game itself is not easy, it takes time to come out again and be better.

I still think that one of the favourites will win the cup though, even if there are some shocking results, it will be one of the favourites of the cup that will not have any shocking results and end up winning the title easily.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Support Casino Operated By The Bitcointalk Members on: October 13, 2022, 10:48:41 AM
but what if reputable members here decided to put their own casino will you support them
I don't see any reason to not support them. They've already handled tons of funds from signature campaigns in the past. If they have bad intention to us, they would done it already. It would be their loss if they scam us because his gambling website together with his forum account will definitely get flagged.
That "reputable" part is depending on how I see them, not how the public sees them. I mean if they are people that I know of, and people I respect, then I would jump on it right away, I would gamble there all day every day. So much so that, even if there is a better casino out there, I would still play here. Because it is from the people I know and trust and that’s very important.

There could be many other places, more marketing, more rewards back, more promotions, anything that any other place could ever try to do and I would still be here. But like I said, they could be insanely well known on bitcointalk, but if I do not know them, then it won't work, I personally need to chat with them before in order to get to know them.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 12, 2022, 09:50:00 PM
Liverpool problem is critical, before it was all about the exit of Sadio Mané that have been a big pressure on the team to carry and have left  Mohammed Salah stranded and struggling in the team. Let's take for instance, when Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 9 nil, Salah was present in the game and he failed to either score or give assist in the game. Then if it was when Mané was still in Liverpool, that kind of frustration for the Egyptian wouldn't have happened, we would have seen Salah on the scoresheet and probably score either a brave or an hattrick. The reds are not in form and that's the major reason behind their losing and sharing draw points.
I feel like it’s not Salah's problem alone, I feel like it's the whole team playing with absolutely no passion at all. It is understandable because they were at UCL finals last year and lost, all due to Real's Goalkeeper (Courtois) playing one of the all time greatest games ever. This caused them to lose passion, and they feel like even though they play their best, they could still end up losing.

There is a toll on someone’s soul to lose UCL finals and they did it twice against Real now, and they keep losing to City on premier league as well. That "we were just there and still lost" keeps on putting more baggage to them and they finally cracked this year I believe.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Breakout for Shiba Inu in the short term? on: October 12, 2022, 06:19:21 PM
If I were you I will try to not be as optimistic as you are, and the reason is simple, right now the market is not really in a position to make that kind of movement regardless of the updates or improvements made in a coin, just look at ethereum, people thought that the merge will bring a lot of growth for ethereum and yet nothing happened, and then we saw a decrease in its price as people began to sell as they were disappointed by the lack of positive results.
Yes, it's better to invest calmly so that we won't be disappointed whatever the results will be or if ever the price didn't rise as expected but if it didn't then we can just assume that it was still part of the bear and maybe the real game will only begin once we entered the early bull run.

You know it's happening when most of the coins are breaking their resistance levels and not when a single coin is only increasing. This is the failure of those who invest and greatly expect in eth. They see that eth is increasing faster but they didn't look around if other coins are also doing the same. I just noticed that the op is only talking about short term. Well, short term expectations are fine.
ETH was something that people look at as the "indicator", which means that it would be going up whenever there is something else that goes up. Which is why there are so many people who wanted to go up with it and invested into just ETH.

You could definitely find other altcoins that would go up even more, but there are also a lot of coins that didn't go up, or went down, which means that the ones who invested into ETH didn't know what else to invest, and wasn't sure and they wanted to make sure that they invested into something they could trust, that’s it. It’s a lower return, but lower risk investment and it makes sense for people like me who are not sure about other coins.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit coins era is going to end on: October 12, 2022, 04:19:32 PM
Although there are a lot of people who dislike shitcoin, the reality is that it is a part of the market, and it is an important part of the market as well. Can be seen every time the bull season comes and the shitcoins generate impressive hype thus attracting a lot of new entrants to the crypto market, shitcoins play a huge role in attracting new users.

It is also very difficult to have regulations banning these shitcoin projects, as they mostly have anonymous teams so there is no way to stop them.
Do they have to though? I mean I get that we are talking about a bigger return that is understandable but at the same time we are talking about something that would be increasing a bit less but more secure at the same time.

Think about it, if you invest into something that would be profitable, and it is guaranteed that it would be profitable, and it is secure, but you will get 2x return, versus something that is risky, most probably will lose all your money, and it will be useless effort, but a tiny sliver of chance it goes 10x, which one you "should" pick? Most people know it's better to invest into bitcoin and make 2x to 5x profit in the long run, but they prefer the shitcoins for some reason for added adventure and possible profits.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 12, 2022, 02:38:31 PM
Nevertheless, Real Madrid doesn't seem to be interested in him anymore? This news has been spread almost everywhere in the media. In the January transfer window, Kylian Mbappé wishes to leave PSG after a rocky relationship with the club. There shouldn't be any room for complacency from Mbappé.
Not necessarily the news is true, the tight standings with Barcelona this season will be the reason why Madrid must accept an offer from PSG to get Mbappe. With the arrival of Mbappe, maybe Madrid can defend their title this season. His arrival will provide an important role for Madrid. And this will be a dream come true for Mbappe, after failing to join madrid earlier in the season
I am not sure if they could even afford to do that. Let's remember that there was like a 120 million euro or something signing bonus for him alone and there was like a 60 million yearly salary paid to him. I am not saying that he doesn't want to leave or anything, but even if he wants to, and even if PSG is willing, it would require significant amount of money from any team to get him.

This means Real needs to be ok with spending 100+ million just to get him, maybe 150 or even close to 200, and then AT LEAST 50 million to pay him as well. "Not wanting to play with messi or neymar" is not really acceptable reason, that shows he is not a decent teammate to be with, and that drops his value.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: October 11, 2022, 05:43:31 PM
compare bitcoin and gambling token it can not. because they have very different functions.
bitcoin is no doubt almost some investors in various countries believe bitcoin as a promising long-term asset. but we can't compare it with BFG tokens or other gambling tokens.
we don't know what will happen to the BFG gambling token but if the BFG gambling company continues to develop its project maybe in the future the token will also have a valuable value in the gambling token.
Bitcoin is too much of a big example, not only that gambling tokens are far away from it, but everything else is far away from it. I compare these with "ideas" of other projects. Like NFT is an idea, P2E was an idea, Metaverse was an idea, DeFi projects were ideas, basically these are all utilities and ideas of projects and now we have gambling just like that. When you compare them all, which one do you see at the top?

I can tell you easily that even though they pass each other at times, it's clear that they all get hype at some point, and then go down eventually and there is no reason to believe that one is better than the other, it all comes down to project.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 11, 2022, 11:31:42 AM
Ronaldo can really join Chelsea side next summer. It depends on especially Manchester United's being able to qualify for the Champions League this season. Maybe this is the main factor but I can predict a side factor that can strengthen the probability of him to leave also. This side factor is that Erik ten Hag still doesn't give him any chance to be in the starting eleven of EPL matches. If Ronaldo continues not to get much chance then this can cause him to be more decisive about leaving.

Chelsea have Aubameyang now maybe but it seems like they can lose him to PSG indeed. Let's say they kept Aubameyang then there would be an interesting challenge between him and Ronaldo in the team. Because they both are playing in the same position so one of them would need to wait in the subs.
I think at this point it’s not really about United being in UCL or not, Chelsea may not be in UCL neither, it’s really beyond that nowadays. Ronaldo is not being played, and he just scored his first premier league goal as well. This dude wants to play a lot of games, be the striker, and be in UCL and score many goals to increase his stats.

I mean let me explain it this way, if Haaland scores 50 goals each year for 10 more years, he would still not be anywhere near Ronaldo, because he is that good. So at the end of the day United benched him, and he didn't play, and that means he wants to leave for a club that he could play for, where he will start every game, that’s more important.
669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Money but from where on: October 11, 2022, 05:15:31 AM
Cryptocurrency mining is the most efficient way to make money. The amount of capital investment required depends on how much money you need. In addition to this time, there are many additional ways to make money. You must determine which one best fits you, your financial situation, your level of education, and other factors. While it is possible to make money through trading, this cannot be relied upon as a reliable source of income. Because everyone will eventually suffer a loss based on the market and a bad prediction.
I am sure that miners would love to hear that, but I highly disagree to this at all points. Mining is something that requires some sort of skillset that not everybody has, even a tiny problem that you can solve in 30 seconds, may not be a problem I know how to handle and cause me to wait for a repair man to fix it and cost me a lot because it's special skill to fix it in 30 seconds, proven by me not knowing how to.

That is why it is going to be hard for many people to have understanding of mining works, and how they could invest and make money. I believe long term investment is easier, you just buy and hold and suddenly one day you wake up and have a lot more money.
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 10, 2022, 07:48:08 PM
Every time they meet they always show an interesting game to watch and it is a pleasure for me personally. Even though I lost in this match bet, but it doesn't matter because I feel I have paid off by their game. And I think many people agree with me, even though they lost but bet but could watch an interesting match, it seemed to have paid off. Both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich performed well in this match, and it was a big success for Borussia Dortmund because they could break the record of always losing in the last 5 meetings.
That’s the thing about this game isn't it? Whatever happens, whichever season it is, whatever rosters they have, these two clubs always go head to head no matter what. I have seen years where Bayern was clear favourites and Dortmund sucked, but during these games something happens and suddenly we see a closer game, and that’s the beauty of this sport, you can always support a team, and have a rival team, and enjoy those games more than any other game.

It makes it so much more fun, and it makes it exciting no matter what the results of previous games where, each game is a brand new game to start again and this time to be better than you were and put up a fight.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: October 10, 2022, 06:45:21 PM
Threatened in what?
If the internet and electricity around the world suddenly stopped, then that would be a real threat to bitcoin. Centralized and decentralized aren't competition. In the end, all payment systems will become digital to achieve transaction efficiency, the presence of CBDC is a future innovation that however requires support. Whether you wanna use it or not, it's just a matter of taste.
No Fiat currency will ever be able to threaten Bitcoin's existence. That's because Fiat (whenever digital or physical) is centralized, whereas Bitcoin is not. As you've said before, only a complete shutdown of the Internet would be able to stop Bitcoin for good. But we all know this is technically impossible to achieve. A digital dollar would only benefit the US government and the central bank (The Federal Reserve) than individuals themselves. It will be the end of privacy for good since the new CDBC will give the government more power over people's finances. Paper money will be phased out for good, leaving us only with truly-decentralized cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Monero. As long as people have a choice, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my opinion Smiley
The idea that there would be a "threat" is the fact that we are talking about something that would be a problem for crypto only in the investment amount, not in a controlling way. So, if there is a digital dollar, a cbdc or whatever you want to call it, that means there could be some money that could have gone to bitcoin, could end up with that.

I am not saying this would be terrible for us, but it could potentially postpone the bull run as well. It’s not a "threat", because both will coexist peacefully and there is no problem with that, but at the same time we are talking about something that would postpone the bull run so it's not a great thing neither.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: October 10, 2022, 05:51:30 PM
Intersting post, but i see there are alot of factors that are going to affect prices this time. Including mining costs, market conditions.. I guess we are going to see big debate on this in future.. but for sure with halving Bitcoin will become more precious.
I think the biggest one will be the market conditions, it’s going to be hard because at the end of the day there is a big reason for people to not invest into something when they are not sure about the whole market, like if stocks, the world economy and all is still bad like today then it is not going to be great even after the halving.

Look at the last halving, t happened right before the biggest inflation problem and money printing period of the world and of course last one was followed by a huge huge increase in the price. This time, it looks like either recession or maybe there will be some sort of situation where it will be recovering by that time hopefully.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 09, 2022, 05:43:51 PM
Even if the competitors win their games today, they will be only 4 points ahead. And this is Freiburg and Union Berlin - few would believe that these teams are able to give a stable season without failures and with a better pace than Bayern. Borussia remains Bayern's biggest rival so far, but there's a tie on points here and there's no reason to worry about the opponent gaining an advantage.
Precisely. I know I'm enjoying Freiburg's form (and I got a little fella in there who's my absolute favourite as overperformer) but dropped points are inevitable as you can only last so long in terms of the energy you've got to put in just to stay above water.

BVB taking off points from Bayern was a blessing, and there won't be too many of that for the defending champs. Still, what a season it's turning out to be so far.
I really really really didn't expected Bayern to get another draw. They have been not so great at bundesliga so far, and I was thinking that they would be doing much better this time around, but turns out they did not and they still suck.

They are the team everyone imagined would win the title, and I really did not expected Lewandowski to have this much impact on the team, sure he is a wonderful striker but Bayerns whole success didn't look like it was attributed to only him. So, this new season where they keep on losing points doesn't make sense to me, I expected them to finally start winning with this game and go on a roll with many wins in a row.
674  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch is going to ban most crypto gambling streamers. Where will Drake go now? on: October 09, 2022, 04:46:30 PM
Watching streamers gambling with a ton of money is a complete waste of time if you ask me since the funds that they use are usually supplied by the site that they are gambling in which implies that the risk factor here is zero.

It's a clever tactic used by many popular gambling sites to attract gamblers for sure, but trying to replicate their wins is silly due to the difference in the risk factor between the streamers and gamblers.

I guess some people watch these streams for fun which is the silver lining here.
I believe people watch not because they think it is real gambling, but because they just like to watch people do stuff. I mean look at all the gamers, I can buy the game and play it myself as well, and in this day and age there are so many places that I can go ahead and find other people to group up and play together too, and yet I do not do it at all.

This is why I believe that we shouldn't really be expecting anything big out of this, it is not about the real money or fake money, it's about the community basically. If you watch someone then you sort of belong to their community and if you chat enough, you will get to know other people and make friends, that has always been the real reason for twitch.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 08, 2022, 07:25:30 PM
Atletico Madrid must be close to making the deal permanent now. Griezmann has always been showing his best performance at Atletico Madrid actually. Barcelona have made a huge mistake by signing him permanently. Now they are just trying to get rid of him as fast as possible. As they have made many transfers in the recent times, they had better raise some funds to relieve more financially.

Maybe they have made new sponsorship deals they are still not in a very bright financial condition. As they are going to pay a lot of money for salaries as well it is better for them to sell Griezmann. His salary is quite high now.
Griezmann was one of the failed transfers that Barcelona had ever made, while at Barcelona Griezman did not contribute much, very different from Lewandowski who immediately made a good contribution to Barcelona. Now Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement for the transfer of Griezmann for a value of €20 million + €2 million in variables and the player has agreed to stay permanently at Atletico Madrid.
He is such a good player, I do not understand why he suddenly got worse. There are some players who does get worse with the better team they get to. Like look at Hazard in Real, that could be the only horrible transfer they made for a long time, him and Bale but at least Bale was good for a while and then got worse, he wasn't bad right away.

Griezzman is the Barcelona version of them, he was great, and he still played very well in France during, but he never really provided much. I think it would be much better for ATM to get him, he is doing fine there, he is the type of player who would play well at that level, and it would make sense for both clubs.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 08, 2022, 06:34:42 PM
Barcelona have to do what Ever they can, in winning inter Milan in the second leg at Nou Camp because I think that will be their last hope, and I think xavi should use more of experience than talent in that game,I would love to see kessie and Frankie De Jong starting, because for me Gavi and Pedri are lightweight and not too experience, with kessie and the Dutch so lawendowski will see more of the ball and he should also go with Torres instead of Torres in the starting eleven because is their last hope if not they will be playing Europa League next year.
They have to win against Inter, and of course Plzen or whatever that team is, but it would also be a great deal if they could get a draw out of Bayern game as well, that would really go a long way to make sure that they go to next stage.

If it comes down to Inter and Barcelona being the same points, then it is going to look a lot worse for them, because even if they manage to promote, they are going to face a lot more trouble and fear with the idea that they barely got out, but if they can get out with something like win against all three on second round? That would give them a boost to confidence to make sure that they are doing fine and could beat anyone.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 07, 2022, 08:10:53 PM
Martinez have had some good seasons at Inter Milan, he is a very good player and excellent at top attacking line. I think Martinez will favour a move away at this time in search of a new challenge and new environment to develop. However the 25 year old is still in contract till 2026 and a market value estimated to be around €75m and I don’t think Bayern Munich will be willing to pay that much for him as things stand.
I guess that it's not going to be as simple as people imagine it would be. I mean he is a great player and Bayern would be lucky to have him because he would provide that goal machine they are missing so it is definitely a good idea.

But look at how many players Bayern ever paid a lot of money before, they rarely ever spend a lot on a single player, one of the reasons why they are so good right now is that financial genius moves they make, even for Mane they didn't pay that much. However, Martinez can't be bought for just a few dollars, he is the type of player you would have to pay a lot to get, and that's not going to be something Bayern feel willing to do.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 07, 2022, 07:26:51 PM
I guess it might be time for Leicester City to start picking up more points as they will be playing against smaller football clubs in this couple of weeks, even though Bournemouth are currently sitting above Leicester City on the table in the English Premier League but I think there is a high chance for Leicester City to steal 3 points from the hands of Bournemouth in this upcoming match between these two teams.
Their victory last week was the hope of Leicester City's revival in the league, but Bournemouth also can't be underestimated, in fact in terms of standings they are better than Leicester city now, so I don't think it's as easy as you say for Leicerster City to win this match. Moreover, this will be a home game for Bournemouth which they certainly do not want to lose in front of their own supporters. Home games will usually be very influential for those who are more motivated to win in this match.
Honestly Wolves and Leicester are two teams I did not expect to see at the bottom and it is a bit of a shock to me for sure. I am not saying that they will stay there, of course I believe they will recover from that level too, but I really didn't expected them to be at that level at all, I expected them to be at a mid table level to be fair.

In the end, they are going to recover but to what level? I do not see them becoming like a top 6-7 level team anymore, at the very best they would maybe reach to a point where they would win some games and finish the season 9th at the very best case, and that is already bad enough, so it's definitely a problem.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 07, 2022, 06:09:15 PM
The gossip about Ronaldo are getting wild recently because he linked with so many clubs without uncertain news and the news about this appears since last month
this because Turkish media Ajansspor that they claimed Ronaldo has personal deal with Fenerbahce manager but Ronaldo has refused this rumours because he don't have any plan to playing at Turkish league moreover Fenerbahce probably cannot pay his salary which is very high so this rumour probably will not going to happend but one is certain about him that Manchester United are willing to release him and to find new clubs in January so let see which clubs will be his destination
Now all hoaxes are going to be ended about Cristiano Ronaldo because there was a chance for him to leave Manchester United and go ahead about his desire of playing into Champions League, but things not works for him, so he is currently in Manchester United which is surely on path of success even many disappointing results are also happening but most chances they could be over through them and get good position into Premier League which could be good for Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United.

Surely Fenerbahçe is small club in regard of Atlético Madrid, Roma and Napoli these all rejected this deal just because of his salary and bonuses, so there is no chance he is going to be joined Fenerbahçe because they are not capable of giving him his desired salary right now most chances he will stay here for good time and try to give his best for Manchester United.

There was a statement from the president (Joko Widodo) yesterday and it said that FIFA has offered help to address some of the long-standing issues especially with crowd management. Widodo had a telephone conversation with Gianni Infantino (FIFA president). So as of now, there is no hint that Indonesian Federation may face any disciplinary action. That said, I would like to see Arema FC suspended for at least a couple of years. It was their responsibility to stage the match without any issue.
Most chances no strict action going to happen against Indonesian Federation regrading this tragedy because here they alone not responsible here government is also involved as they fail to keep things in positive way now the best way is Indonesian Federation cooperate with FIFA for having better management and avoid things like this in the future.

Surely here no officials needs to check all proofs and bring main culprits in courts for having punishment even ban them for long time because this is their duty to have all things in control before start of the event and try strict with rules which are applied for any sporting event but here one more thing can happen now FIFA may change venue for U20 soccer world cup which is going to play in Indonesia in 2023.
