But seriously, we need more people to have a reason to use it, these websites with betting is great, but, we need something more as we'll.

I don't think closed source will be good, haters gonna say the wallet did something wrong to their computers, while if it's open source everyone can look at source and compile. Of course other coins will use the wallet. But they will only have the wallet not the infrastructure particle will have to support the app's.
Just let it be one wallet with gui and secend without(but with open source code). If someone is paranoid and affriad he should still use open source no gui wallet that would enough. Yes offering two options to choose is a good idea I've gotta get caught up and fix my main build machine. I had an SSD failure. One thing older SSD drive does not like is power "brownout". I think newer SSD has better firmware logic to handle better. So, we had adjusted the mining to pull it back down and stretch it out. We can adjust it again to bump it up a little and try to strike the balance this time. But however we do it, I don't want to do another hardfork again for awhile so we better get it right this time What I was thinking is we could package it up with the beta release of the new wallet as some kind of relaunch or something. I got some high quality art of the logo from Snotty to put in the new wallet. I've removed all existing Qt artwork etc. from the new wallet. So there is nothing compelling a source release of it for awhile and I'll probably sit on it for 3-6 months to give us some lead time. Once the surrounding ecosystem starts to come online it will be a lot harder for anyone to try to replicate. It is a tricky spot to be in though, because there is something to be said for the whole idea of open source and contributing some advancement back to the collective body of knowledge etc. I think we can strike a balance here too. Good moonmoon, make a poll and allow us to vote, I think everyone agrees, but just to make things transparent. |

also another point to note, mcxnow was down for ages, when the buyers start waking up the price will rise, id buy some now if you want to make a few  Stop saying that, you just want to dump, this coin is only going down  |

 Well worth it! I try to keep active on the site but often forget. On a side note.... EVERYONE WHO IS INVESTED IN PRT, JOIN Altsino.com. The more users....the better it is!!! Also, wheres moonmoon? Seems like he's been online recently, just lack of posting:( Now that BTC is down, it will be WAY easier to convince people to move into PRT as the price is lower. Getting everything rolled out while were in the down spell is probably the best oppertunity we have in bringing users into PRT community. I hope we don't launch the wallet in an opensource fashion yet. Maybe 6 months after final release is launched we can release the source, but right now is not the time. Some other coin will swoop it up, implement it ASAP and take over PRT's spotlight....not good! just few things to think about:
What I'd like is the wallet to have some settings for Send payment limits, so for example if I set the upper limit to 1000PRT, on the Send page if I try to send more than that, the page/field will turn red and warn me. That can warn you not to send too much PRT by mistake.
And about in-wallet mining... If it's going to use minerd, the problem will be that still many antivirus programs are detecting minerd as a threat. So I don't think regular users will agree to this...
True about minerd, it will trow false positives, and scare users. Maybe wallet mining as an App, so users can choose if they want to mine or not? |

I came here after seeing 309 pages, which has to be a record for a new coin, only to see that it is 309 pages of complains about the coin, lol. Is it really that bad? Should I bother mining this or is it a failed coin?
There are so many half decent looking coins out there now I need to pick what I mine wisely.

must be the same people who think stacey is hot the best thing about this coin, nobody outside this community can get a working wallet or mine this coin, but the real Max or some Stacy is keeping pumping it in the exchange. Just gotta say that I'm happy to have found this coin. I was hoping an altcoin would exist that focused mainly on improving upon the legacy QT wallet interface. So boring looking at the exact same UI but with just a different logo slapped on the bottom left. Not gonna lie, the image in the first post looks pretty horrendous, but the latest mock-up looks quite a bit more pleasing. Keep it up!
