661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: November 24, 2023, 05:59:00 AM
I guess that is an exception point. You have mentioned about wife and children! Well, you should trust your better half with everything. If you do not trust her, the relationship is not good enough. I do not share how much I hold with anyone. Not even with my wife. I just told her I had Bitcoin and kept it there. I don't have to say to her the amount. I told her, if something happens to me, please find it and use it for you and the family. Sharing the amount is not necessary. But it's essential to tell that you have something. Isn't it better than telling the amount?
Wife is a part of your life so you should tell your wife about various things especially financial condition because if you die suddenly your property will be owned by your wife and children so they must know in advance how your financial condition is and where you are.  Holding. If they know these, they can access them very quickly in your presence. And the relationship will be better for these things.  I totally agree with your statement

Your post does not oppose my opinion. We are talking about the amount here. We should not tell anyone the amount. No matter who it is. Yes, your wife should know that you have Bitcoin and hold it in a wallet and on which device. If she does not understand how to access it, you can even teach her about it. But telling the amount for now is not necessary.

Womens usually share many things with their friends. You never know if she is going to share it with her friends too. So, not telling the amount is a smart move.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Best wallet for Android? on: November 24, 2023, 05:42:56 AM
Mostly, I do not hold alts. But I want to know what other wallet you guys suggest to store alts? I used Trust Wallet before. But I came to see that they are closed-source apps. Other than this, it's been a good wallet. Is there a better alternative to Trust Wallet?
You are right that Trust wallet is closed source, so Unstoppable wallet is a good alternative to Trust wallet if you are looking for an open source multi-coin wallet. Though unstoppable wallet is a recommended wallet to store your altcoins, they do not support as many coins as Trust wallet does, but you can take a look at the coins they support to see if it is okay for you. Unstoppable wallet also supports extending your seed phrase with a passphrase, which is an extra layer of security, and this is something you cannot do with trust wallet.

Thanks for the suggestion, mate. I have heard about the Unstoppable wallet before, but I have never tried it, and I guess I haven't seen many discussions about it. Open-source wallets should be promoted more rather than closed-source apps. Still, if you ask someone what a good wallet app to store multiple altcoins along with Bitcoin is, Most people suggest Trust Wallet because they don't know the better alternative, and some don't even know if it's an open-source or a closed-source app. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I will install it and try it myself. If I face any issues, can I DM you?

For what it`s worth, I can tell that one of the disputes is about to be "fixed", at least that`s what it looks like - fingers crossed!
Also, I was told that they would get back to responding. Let`s see...

Your engagement with this website is helpful for players who are victims of this casino. At least it's helpful for players who are in this forum. We should appreciate that you have worked with them for a while and helped players solve their issues. But where there is smoke, there is a fire. I guess you already understand that this casino has some Darkside. Imagine there are no efialtis and their support does not answer the victims for two months! Would you suggest players play on such a platform?

Even if they solve all the issues now, I believe they will solve the accusations with a small amount and the accusations with a bigger amount will remain unsolved. They will solve some of them because they want to fix their reputation. Even if they solve all of them, I won't suggest anyone play on such a platform. It's a BIG NO from me.

People are cheering because banks got a Bitcoin Custody Licence.  Lips sealed Lips sealed
Shouldn't they be afraid about it? Will you store your Bitcoin in banks? What makes them better than any CEX available on the market? And what about non-custodial wallets?  Sad

interesting how market don't care about gox or Binance fud (yet)

There was a little movement when CZ announced his retirement. But everything became normal again  Smiley

665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: November 23, 2023, 09:12:18 AM
But if even those close to you hide it from them, is it right for you to do it? Have you ever thought that if you don't share your investment with anyone, even your closest relatives like your wife, and you suddenly pass away, those bitcoins will also disappear in waste? Are you living and investing for yourself or for loved ones like your parents, wife and children? If you only care about yourself, you're too selfish because without your parents, you wouldn't be where you are today.
Bitcoin is just money, it cannot be more precious than the love of parents or spouses. If you lose bitcoin, it is not difficult to get it back, but love cannot be regained.

666  Economy / Economics / Re: What has really been behind china's economy on: November 23, 2023, 09:02:33 AM
Do you think a nation that has 30%+ of their gdp indebted to China would end up with going against China? They would have two reasons not to, first of all they are getting money from them so why would they stop, secondly if China comes asking for their money back, it would be very hard to say no, it would be dangerous for sure.

I wonder what the punishment is for a country that won't be able to pay a debt or, let's say, they don't want to pay the debt at once as most of their contract is they will pay the debt in installments. Who will solve that issue? Internation court? I don't see anything else how it could be dangerous for a country. Or is there any chance China may attack them?

I don't think a country will attack another country just because they could not pay the debt. Instead, if they stop exporting products to those countries and they ask other countries not to help, that could create a real mess.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Earnings on: November 23, 2023, 08:55:54 AM
The main aim of the forum is to help members Invest in Bitcoin and teach them how to secure their Bitcoin investment by using a non custodial wallet and not trading. If any individual is having difficulties in trading then he should go back to rethink about the strategy that he's using to trade and try something new.

Apart from the things you mentioned, I also have other help from this forum. You can ask almost everything in this forum and will likely have people to answer your questions. For example, I had some issues with my Linux OS setting up the latest version of Electrum; the forum members helped me install it correctly. Anyone who wants to learn a trade may get help from the forum. But ou have asked some specific questions regarding your queries. Suppose you don't know what to ask, and you ask questions like "How to learn trading?" It's not a good question, and you won't find a good answer.

I have been using Electrum for a while to store my Bitcoin, and I was planning to switch to another open-source wallet app. I have installed Blue Wallet, too. But I am also using my Electrum wallet on my Android device. Usually, I do not store alts. But sometimes, I had to get some TRX and USDT, too. I am currently using Centralized exchanges to receive and change them later. Mostly, I do not hold alts. But I want to know what other wallet you guys suggest to store alts? I used Trust Wallet before. But I came to see that they are closed-source apps. Other than this, it's been a good wallet. Is there a better alternative to Trust Wallet?
669  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 23, 2023, 06:48:42 AM
For me, financial freedom is when you don't think about your needs anymore, because they are automatically covered, and you don't worry about investing, even those that have high risks because someone will handle it if you lose.
You will not be afraid to take any further steps to try to increase your income, because your income is already greater than your expenses.

In my opinion, that's not financial freedom. You are talking about the need for money. If you grow up in a high-class family and have millions of dollars, yet you cannot use them for your needs, this is the obstacle, and that's where you need financial freedom. Imagine you have a million dollars in your bank but cannot spend more than 1000 USD per transaction with your credit/debit card. This is an obstacle. That's why Bitcoin came here. You don't have any limits. You don't have to keep your money on an organization and give them a commission to handle your own money. Instead, Bitcoin gives you full access to your funds.

https://twitter.com/KyberNetwork/status/1727475235342217682?t=iaO4tOA4xjbkS6lihfGPDw&s=19

Is this another thread where you will get answers from users, and each time, you will ask them to review the negative tag 1miau left? It seems like you have created this thread to encourage the admin to remove 1miau as a merit source. You have made four replies in this thread so far three of them about the tag he left to you  Cheesy

Ok, do you think when someone hands out negative trust after reading people's political opinions, or removing positive feedback, excluding others from their trust list, is someone who can distribute merits as neutral as possible?

but what if someone bases his decisions on those beliefs? For example tagging someone because they had a different opinion? If they do that, then they are capable of being extremely biased in other areas.

Sure, except I got tagged on 18th of October, if it was personal I would have posted this then. But thanks to enlightening me with your unbiased opinion. After receiving more than 300 merits from him, your opinion is totally unbiased.  🤥

Isn't it obvious why you created this thread? You already know that you won't be able to convince anyone to agree with you. But you decided to use this thread to ask everyone to review the feedback he left. By doing this, you are getting the feedback approved by everyone  Smiley

I haven't posted in Gambling threads for a couple of weeks now. I am surprised that the Flags against BC game is active now. I have never been in favor of them. Most users in this thread and their signature participants trolled the accuser. They thought every accuser was an abuser because they were newbies.

I have spoken against BC game several times because I have seen how unfair they were with their players. Especially when players contact support about their issues, they respond quickly, then take five minutes, ten, twenty, and then a day to respond. After a period, they do not respond anymore. It is high time for Efialtis to level them as scammers!

675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany's fourth largest bank "Commerzbank" Granted Bitcoin Custody Licence. on: November 22, 2023, 06:30:45 AM
but some people like banks and trust banks, so it can be a way for them to invest in cryptos without thinking about the issues like keeping the seed safe.

Isn't it a worse solution than centralized exchanges? I see nothing better than centralized exchanges, but it will be more difficult for its users. People have already asked crypto users not to store their Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in centralized exchanges, and now there is an updated version of it: banks. Could you please point out one positive side that banks provide but centralized exchanges do not provide?

You pointed out the seed safety by giving your asset access to others.  Cheesy
Isn't it like you gave your Bitcoin to someone else and will ask him to send it to you whenever you want? Also, you are giving him fees to hold your Bitcoin. The Bitcoin is yours, but you do not control them. Still, you call it safety.  Smiley
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Why haven't the earliest participants sold their Bitcoin, and some haven't even on: November 22, 2023, 06:22:53 AM
Those Satoshi’s bitcoin doesn’t seems like something that he lost, he might have actually just created a new wallet and throw those bitcoins there and then throw the keys away just to maybe add value to the circulating ones as he as he did say himself what lost coins are for. Or probably he is dead and no one knows the whereabout of the keys.

Even if we do not consider it as a lost coin, these coins are not in circulation. There are other possibilities too. He might let it remain in his wallet because he is a wealthy guy and does not need to spend his coins. Instead, he lets its users see how valuable it is today. Since people believe he has 1M Bitcoin, if they start to move, people will understand that Satoshi has almost 5% of the total supply.

If we look at the Lazslo cases it is because many people are just seeing it now as him been wasteful because of how expensive bitcoin is now, I bet before the mining of bitcoin even ends some of the next generation might even finds us stupid too for how we spent ours too.
Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't have spent the ETH that I received a couple of years ago as salary from a crypto project. I was getting 1 ETH every two weeks and I spent them instantly. It was around $125 back then.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An easy approach to Bitcoin on: November 22, 2023, 06:12:40 AM
Lol. If you will only say that they don't know its other information yet, then that wouldn't sound too weird.

Imagine someone teaching others how Bitcoin and its network work without having proper knowledge. Do you expect them to make better explanation animation? They will unintentionally end up giving the wrong information. So, If someone does not have other information, they should not start doing such videos. I hope you guys agree with me.

As I also posted in this thread before, I suggest teaching about the importance of privacy and security rather than Bitcoin and letting them decide what they want to use. If they have a good brain, they will pick Bitcoin.

"Why haven't the earliest participants sold their Bitcoin, and some haven't even touched the coins in their addresses, considering the high price of Bitcoin?"

Some people decide to hold it until they meet the price they want. Some may lose their private keys. Or maybe some of them cannot find the private keys anymore. Imagine where satoshi is now. He also has a lot of Bitcoin that did not moved for a long time now.

Someone has to prove that it's transactional, and we can buy things with this. Just imagine we are all buying Bitcoin, and no one is spending, and it has no use in reality. So, what is the point of gathering more and more Bitcoin and no plan to spend it? Some people see Lazslo as an Idiot because he sold 10000 Bitcoin for two large-size pizzas.
