What a shocker from NZ! I was expecting a close game as they did almost chase over 380 against Australia but couldn't even get past 170 against RSA. I honestly don't rate Keshav Maharaj much as a quality spinner but I suppose New Zealanders couldn't read his spin much and gave away 4 wickets to him. I feel the wickets fell simply due to the scoreboard pressure, and any score over 300 will bring that psychological barrier and I expected this would happen immediately when NZ won the toss and said bowl first. Honestly why they chose to bowl? SA lost to a low score while chasing against NED and the result almost same with Pakistan too but saved by that marginal mistake from umpire so why NZ didn't try to exploit their opposition weakness! If you score 300 plus runs in this matches, it becomes very difficult to win by targeting that run. However, in the previous match, New Zealand was defeated by just five runs against Australia with a target of 389 runs, but in today's match, a team like New Zealand was defeated by 190 runs against a target of 358 runs. In this case, I will blame the New Zealand batsmen as they did not show the focus they needed to win the match after setting such a high target. The way they played aggressive cricket in that innings of South Africa, but no wicket was seen to fall easily, New Zealand were bowled out for just 167 runs on that pitch. In this case it will never be possible to avoid the responsibility of the batting department. |

বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে বলছি, পাঁচ বছর আগে এরকম পরিস্থিতিতে পড়েছিলাম যার কারণে আমি আর দ্বিতীয়বার এরকম ভুল করতে যাব না। প্রবাদে আছে ন্যাড়া দ্বিতীয়বার বেলতলায় যায় না। আমি বেল তলায় বার বার যাই ভাই। যাই হোক, আমি মূলত এসব ধরনের ঝামেলায় পড়ি নাই। ড্রাইভিং লাইসেন্স করার সময় প্রথমে তো একটা লার্নার কার্ড দেয় যেটা দিয়ে আপনি আপাতত লোকালে প্র্যাক্টিস করতে পারবেন। কিন্তু শহরে যেতে পারবেন না। আমি এসব আসলে জানতাম না। প্রথমবার মামলা খেতে খেতে ২৫০০ টাকা দিয়ে বেচে আসলাম। আবারো কয়েকদিন পর একই কারনে ৫০০ টাকা দিলাম। পরের বার সার্জেন্ট ছিলো না তাই অল্পতে বেচে গেছি। নিজের লাইসেন্স চলে আসার পড়েও খেয়াল করে দেখলাম বেশিরভাগ সময় সাথে নিতে মনে থাকে না। বার বার বেল তলায় যাওয়া শুরু। তারপর থেকে লাইসেন্স সাথে ক্যারি করি। কালকে পোষ্ট পড়ার পর থেকে মোবাইলে ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সি রিলেটেড সব এপস হাইড করে ফেলেছি। এছাড়া মোবাইলে আর কিছুই নাই যেটা দিয়ে পুলিশ হেনস্থা করতে পারে। হ্যাঁ আপনার মত আমিও ভাবছি মোবাইল ফোন অল্টারনেটিভ ইউজ করব। একটি ফোন বাড়িতে রাখবো এবং আরেকটি বাহিরে বের হলে ব্যবহার করব। তবে মোবাইল ফোনের সব সময় হাইড করে রাখা যায় না। মাঝেমধ্যে যদি ব্যবহার করা হতো তাহলে কেবল সম্ভব হতো। বিটকয়েন ফোরাম এমন হয়ে গেছে যেখানে দিনে আপাতত একশোবার না ঢুকলে ভালো লাগেনা, সময় কাটেনা। তাছাড়া মোবাইল ফোনে এগুলো হাইড করে কি করব। যখন পুলিশে আপনাকে ধরবে তখন আপনার আশেপাশের লোকেরা আপনার বিরুদ্ধে একাধিক মিথ্যা অভিযোগ দিয়ে আপনাকে ফাঁসানোর চেষ্টা করবে। তখন পুলিশ আপনার হাজার সত্য কথাকে মিথ্যা বলে গুরুত্ব দেবে না অথচ আপনার বিরুদ্ধে যারা মিথ্যা বলবে তাদের টা সত্য বলে আপনার বিরুদ্ধে অ্যাকশন নেবে। ধুর বা********* কি সকল চিন্তা ভাবনা করছি। আপনি আমি যদি সৎ থাকি তাহলে আল্লাহপাক আমাদের কখনো বিপদে ফেলবেন না। যদি বিপদে পড়ি তাহলে আল্লাহপাক আমাদের হেফাজত করবে। ভাই @LB আপনার বিবি ,বাচ্চার কি অবস্থা । অ্যাক্সিডেন্টের পরবর্তী অবস্থা জানতে পারিনি। আমাদের মামনি টা কেমন আছে? |

Why the heck does Bangladesh keep sending Mahmudullah down the order when he is in top form currently? Also, Pakistan should have replaced Imam with Zaman a long time ago. also they have to play 3 more matches against Netherlands, Australia, southafrica so if they able to won at least two then they will have 10 points which mean they can move to semis for a first time in ODI world Cup history.
10 points aren't enough to secure a semifinals spot though. They need a great NRR and they need teams like Australia and New Zealand to lose some of their upcoming matches in order to secure a spot which is a difficult ask basically. India, New Zealand, South Africa, and Australia have the highest chances of playing the semi-finals in this World Cup. A win in any of their remaining matches would give them enough points and net run rate to qualify for the semi-finals. Moreover, Mitchell Marsh scored just 36 runs off 51 balls whereas the other batsmen's run figures were much higher than the ball figures, giving the opposite picture to Mitchell Marsh's innings. New Zealand's run rate is currently as good as Australia's but New Zealand are 177 with the loss of three wickets. Today it is very likely that my prediction will go in vain.
