661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much Bitcoin would you like to have at the end of 2015? on: July 27, 2014, 08:11:55 PM
I have a little above 2BTC but would like to have about 10. Too bad that I made bad decisions with trading altcoins that I mined with little rig, I could be now very near 10BTC. Hope that new algorithm comes out so that we with small rig (2 graphic card) could mine again, because mine rig is now turned off.

663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many MHS to mine one litecoin on: July 26, 2014, 07:33:27 PM
If you already have scrypt ASICS then you can mine scrypt coin, otherwise I don't recommend you buying new asics for scrypt.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many MHS to mine one litecoin on: July 26, 2014, 06:31:26 PM
Depends on how long are you going to mine them.

For example with 1Mh/s you would need 30 days, with 10Mh/s 3 days and so on...
665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please tell me if my computer will be ok for mining or not on: July 26, 2014, 02:05:05 PM
Bitcoin can only be profitably mined with specialized ASIC equipment so forget about mining Bitcoin with that setup unless you want to buy an ASIC.

I would assume the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro isn't too bad. I remember it was absolutely the best card that money could buy back in 2003. It might be possible to mine GPU coins with it but I'm not sure how it stacks up with newer generation cards which probably now far outclass it. Might be worth a shot though.

Perhaps you could try mining CPU coins too. Your processor doesn't seem too terrible but I doubt you would see a profit when other people are using far more powerful/efficient i5s and i7s to mine. Here is a list of some of them if you're interested:

Oh cmon, gpu is the crapiest crap also cpu is a real prehistoric. He can't mine nothing with this.

669  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can a bitcoin address be generated by PHP ? on: July 24, 2014, 04:39:34 PM
Yes looks like that in some situations it is not secure enough but my knowledge is too low for better understanding.
670  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: mining problem on: July 24, 2014, 03:49:01 PM
I know that I see somewhere that it is possible if you make a stratum proxy (maybe this -> https://github.com/slush0/stratum-mining-proxy), but can't provide useful link, because can't find it at the moment.
671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Solo mining to wallet or exchange on: July 24, 2014, 03:26:33 PM
What kind of hashrate would you need to get a coin at a decent expected time?
For bitcoin if you have 1TH/s you will still need about 2.5 years  Cheesy

Don't know if this is needed but you should add rpc port too.

Code:
rpcport=8332 (depends on coin)
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: coin-ga.me a site of altcoin exchange and games on: July 24, 2014, 02:52:11 PM
Why isn't this site using https?

coin-ga.me will use https soon .

last days, the team of coin-ga.me  are busy adding new games.

Thank you for explanation. I have already used your page for NFD trading without problems.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [poll] Is there room for another new Hashing Algorithm? on: July 24, 2014, 12:56:39 PM
Yes we need new algorithm that again give boost to GPUs.

the problem is renting now, not asic

we need something against renting

Also this yes. I am small miner with one 280x and 270 and for six months I have been mining with profit, but now I just turned off my rig (also because of summer) and bought Xeon E3-1230 v3 and rather play games than mine with loss.

678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do most qt wallets run on win xp? on: July 24, 2014, 12:13:44 PM
I think that you just need to have microsoft visual c++ redistributable installed and then wallets work.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [poll] Is there room for another new Hashing Algorithm? on: July 24, 2014, 12:09:15 PM

If you don't have ***.conf then just make it yourself and you can start mining. Anyway don't believe that it is smart so solo mine bitcoin or litecoin.
