Bitcoin as the father of all cryptocurrency have hard it ups and down since it came into existence, but what I observe lately is the misinformation about Bitcoin that got me worried like in this time and age, people still take Bitcoin as a scam.
Who take bitcoin as a scam? It is certainly true that the first crypto coin was Bitcoin and Bitcoin itself is called the father of cryptocurrencies. the popularity of Bitcoin has led to the emergence of other coins. thats why it definitely can be called bitcoin as a father of cryptocurrencies. I wouldn't deny that in my early days of investment, I really was unconvinced by the presentation i had about Bitcoin, which I took it as one of these fraudster trying to milk the general public as mmm did, but with time, after doing some research and finding I discovered how misinformed I was about it.
It's commendable that you've done deep research on Bitcoin and realized your misconception. But not only Bitcoin, but in any case, it is not right to falsely discuss any subject without gaining complete knowledge. Right now most people are like me years back, they are totally misinformed about Bitcoin, the best I do for them right now is to educate them about it, which some even told me what they think Bitcoin was, which is totally untrue about it.
but in as much as am trying to share knowledge about Bitcoin to those who lack it, I don't try to force it on anyone so they won't see me as a scam.

There has been several occasions of people saying buy and hold without consedring the negative effect it has impacted on many people live. Lets take for instance, when bitcoin was at ATH of about $69k somany people bought at same price expecting it to hit $100k and above while some baugh at the price when it was 40, 50, $60k conservatively. When it was going down to even $20k people keep on holding. Now it's about 2 years since bitcoin fell and never meet up with the price they baught. And they are hoping it comes back after losing huge amount of money. New investors are are taking advages of it while the old investors are regretting.
If you want to hold long term you have to accept that you will hold that bitcoin until your target is exceeded. So in this case it doesn't matter how many dollars the Bitcoin price goes down. Do you not believe that Bitcoin will be worth $100k? When bitcoin first hit $20k in 2017 didn't anyone buy bitcoin hoping for more bumps? Then the price of bitcoin dropped to $3200 and who thought that the price of bitcoin would be $69k? So since it was possible, then why not possible $100k you think and why you panic? So I sudjest sometimes if the market is going down beyond bearable measures, there is need to swap your BTC to USDT to keep your capital safe in other to buy back when it is going up to avoid loosing some huge amount of money.
If you sell bitcoins at that time it means you panic. If you don't panic so easily and can't trust bitcoin to hold long time. So how do you consider yourself a holder? When the price of Bitcoin falls you can buy more Bitcoins instead of selling your Bitcoins in this case DCA will occur and your price will be minimized. |

Bitcoin is international, adoption is slow however still pretty visible and I am sure, every country is using Bitcoin and Crypto as of now and 2024-25 will be the greatest years for Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies because of the price target it's getting ready for. Something huge will be happening in the next 2 years and that news will make it Bitcoin cross $100k per Bitcoin. I suspect it will have something to do with Apple or Google.  Bitcoin adoption is seen in most European countries so it is not unusual to see something like this in Turkey. In countries where Bitcoin is used as a legal currency, such a physical Bitcoin exchange may occur at any time. Bitcoin can be traded online very easily and since Bitcoin is a digital currency and Bitcoin can be used completely anonymously, such a physical Bitcoin exchange is not very important for us. But this news would be very happy for us if new big companies accept Bitcoin as payment or legalize Bitcoin in countries where Bitcoin is still illegal. It's great to see Bitcoin gaining traction in Turkey! However, given the political situation, considering migration to a more freedom-oriented country does cross my mind.

No bro, what I'd like to happen is the other way around, to have my pension be paid in bitcoins and be able to convert that bitcoin pension fund into fiat when I claim it at my local social security branch and given my belief in bitcoin that it's going to eventually cross the million dollar price point somewhere along my lifetime, I think that it's a win-win situation for me to do that but on the flip side though, some financial advisor would probably say to me that it's not a good way to save up for your pension and I do agree, even if you have a solid belief that bitcoin will never crash or be gone in your lifetime, you can never be wrong when you're playing it safe, always diversify.

I can see that you're new to the crypto space and you might not know the dangers attached in keeping your funds on centralized exchanges. Storing your funds on CEX means you're giving them custody over it and you could lose it if the exchange gets hacked, bankrupted or confiscated by the authorities. So if truly you're here to learn and amass knowledge, then you should read through the responses from forum members and take their advice very seriously. No your keys, not your coins. Atomic wallet is a good example of a closed source non-custodial wallet, they were hacked a few months ago, and quite a lot of their users lost their money, but even as i type this there is still no info from Atomic wallet about what happened. Thus don't use closed source wallets, even if they are non-custodial and give you a recovery phrase. Trust wallet is fine but it will more secure if op use another Non-custodial wallet like Electrum or if op want to investment a big capital then he should use hardware wallet those will help him to hold his bitcoin more securely without any problem |

The next possible Cycle High is in August, 2025-November, 2025.
Bitcoin price once made an ATH at 20K in 2017 and then again in November 2021 Bitcoin made a new ATH again according to the circle indicating the possibility of Bitcoin's next ATH exactly four years later in 2025. But it is not granted. Bitcoin price has already pumped a lot so it is highly expected that Bitcoin will make ATH again very soon but how long it will take is not sure. But everyone would be better off if someone made a long term Bitcoin haul. At present it appears that the amount of holdings has increased significantly from Bitcoin trading. Even after reading this post, all I can advise everyone is to still invest what they can afford to lose!. Do not think that just because Bitcoin has done well over the years we should neglect risk management. I think of investment in a way that once I've put my money in there, I have lost it (just to keep myself from being too anxious and always checking). I have lost quite some amount of money in crypto, and for the times that it happened, I never felt shocked cause I always acknowledged that I could lose it all. So, investment as a whole is a risk and one should be risk-conscious when being a part of any investment (be it Bitcoin or not.)
I wouldn't say that you invite bitcoin as much as you can with the loss effort because no one loses 100% of their assets by inviting bitcoin. so I would say that if you have long term investment then invest in bitcoin otherwise don't have a bad experience with bitcoin by investing for short term. Bitcoin is not able to give much profit for short term but if you invest with Bitcoin for long time Bitcoin is able to give a lot of sure profit. Because even though the price of Bitcoin fluctuates constantly, Bitcoin recovers a lot after a long period of time and Bitcoin sometimes makes a new ATH that is several times higher than the previous ATH. |

Bitcoin is promoted by itself, but sometimes some big whales use the name of Bitcoin to gain profit by manipulating the market. So stop thinking of Bitcoin as a project or a centralized company that needs funds to promote. It's a fully decentralised system that maintains both privacy and economic freedom.
