Jim Willie is excellent for taking in the big picture and his intuition for connecting the dots is rarely wrong, so the Bush family are trillionaires then but not in Thorpe's rich list, how funny they are overlooked.

Pretty stark stuff from Martin Armstrong:
Can't help thinking crypto currencies have arrived just in time but cash should always have it's place in some form or other. Italy made cash transactions over €1,000 illegal; Switzerland has proposed banning cash payments in excess of 100,000 francs; Russia banned cash transactions over $10,000; Spain banned cash transactions over €2,500; Mexico made cash payments of more than 200,000 pesos illegal; Uruguay banned cash transactions over $5,000; and France made cash transactions over €1,000 illegal, down from the previous limit of €3,000.

I like the sound of triple support 'pin-bars', thanks for teach me a new word Have noticed a lot of over buying in the last few days especially on bittrex, each time I put a small buy in, a bot bungs in a slightly higher bid, its certainly tricky to buy large amounts like this. Whats your opinion of the new bitcoin daily price on the New York stock exchange, big news eh, the merger of wall street and bitcoin has truly begun (as it was foreseen by some) ..

No, but I'm not kidding when I say I think Murphy had a vision of me in this day and age, woke up and came up with his law... Can you elaborate with a short story please ? (will tip if juicy, hehe)

Wow, seriously? That works? I think the big question is... why on bloody hell would you need a north american IP to be able to view the charts properly? Did you think I was just making it up without testing first? Btw, have you seen the creeping 3k wall gone upto 0.0123 on cryptsy and fairly big buys on bifinex, could be a little flurry coming ..

Can anyone get the New York Stock exchange bitcoin price ticker working? Its meant to be free on the main page for a few days, I can only find this,https://www.nyse.com/publicdocs/nyse/indices/NYSE_Bitcoin_Index_Methodology.pdf4. Calculation Methodology The NYSE Bitcoin Index will be calculated utilizing a proprietary, rules based formula that is maintained and overseen internally by the NYSE Index Committee. The logic utilized for the derivation of the daily index level is intended to analyze a large amount of actual bitcoin transactional data, verify and refine the data set, and yield an objective, fair market value of bitcoin as of 4 PM U.K. time each weekday, priced in U.S. Dollars (USD).Edit: sorry got it now! https://www.nyse.com/quote/index/NYXBT

Thanks, that worked.
Glad you've sorted it. For the record there are a few other useful wallets commands that hopefully you won't need but are good to know: -repairwallet -salvagewallet -zapwallettxes (fixes useless stuck and conflicted unconfirmed transactions from attempted double spends etc)

Doesn't solve the scalability problem, but merely postpones it
Are you talking about Dash here or Bitcoin ? I meant bitcoin, but I suppose until the team implements the changes necessary this would apply to both, albeit with a much smaller initial block size for Dash allowing for more time. Btw, I went through a few country's localbitcoins.com volume, and it appears South Africa has one of the fastest rising turnovers in the last 2 months. http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/localbtcZAR.html

Doesn't solve the scalability problem, but merely postpones it, and does not take into account slow connection speeds and magnetic hard drives for it's weighty 35 gigabytes of blockchain and soon to be larger block sizes! Does not allow for accelerating user take up(only a linear rise of new transactions is possible and even that does not follow Moore's law) Dash has at least 2 possible solutions. a) reduce the path length by scrubbing spent transactions making the block size smaller. b) use the masternodes to make transactions per seconds infinitely scalable.
