(Please click Blue and Yellow to show flaky nodes)

Whaaaaat ?!
come again please,
what is this ??

Yellow is uptime of less than 15 minute = highly unreliable
blue is uptime of less than 24 hrs = localized bed time naps

''flaky''
informal: liable to act in an unconventional or eccentric way.

Just to account for one of the eccentric nodes, I built a new full bitcoin node yesterday and it is still syncing  Grin

Any idea how long it takes until cryptsy starts a withdraw.

Still no record found at cryptsy webside after 2 hours.
Got a mail to confirm the withdraw, nothing more.

Dash has announced a push into Russia
Dash, formally known as Darkcoin, has announced its push into Russia. In line with this mission, Dash has translated its website, videos, Wiki, forums and social media into Russian and has indicated that this is a prelude to an even bigger push into China.

Recently, Russia’s Bitcoin community won a court battle with the unblocking of seven crypto-related websites after regulators shut them down in January.

In a statement to CoinTelegraph, Dash said of the legal concerns:

“Of course, nobody knows what the future will hold, but in the meantime we want to keep working and share what we are doing to raise awareness about Dash in Russia. We expect that these measures will bring many new Russian dashers to the community.”

I'm presenting Dash at the Barcelona Bitcoin Meetup in Barcelona next Tuesday. To any dasher around the area... please come and help spread the word!

http://www.meetup.com/bitcoin-barcelona/events/222636340/

The Barcelona BTC meetup is the biggest in Spain and one of the most attended ones in Europe. Besides the usual attendance (30-40 people), all people at the Bitcoin panel in the Symposium on Electronic Crime Research (eCrime 2015), that takes place in Barcelona that same day, are invited:

https://apwg.org/apwg-events/ecrime2015/

The organization expects many of them to go to the meetup and this could be a good opportunity to present Dash in a more friendly way to this audience.

I will do a 20-30 min overview of Dash, covering masternodes, darksend, instantX and blockchain governance. We will try to connect with Evan via Skype for the Q&A, but we don't know for sure yet because we need to test the audio at the venue first.

aleix made this possible and he will record the presentation. We'll make the video and the deck available so anyone can use.

I will be travelling to Barcelona specifically for this. Depending onf the final arrangements, I expect the cost of the train and the hotel to be around 200-250 EUR (80-100 DASH). I'll be doing this anyway, but donations to help cover the costs are more than welcomed Smiley My address is XcuTUeqH3zQmrfWQB3APRWLWkvM2fshpQc

If there is any excess over the cost, I'll tip attendees who download the wallet after the event so they can try Dash.

Excellent timing, I just arrived in my CAT base (one hour north of BCN) a couple of days ago, I shall definitely be attending, I was at the first Spanish BTC meet up in Madrid in 2012 http://www.yorokobu.es/bitcoin-el-lento-auge-de-la-moneda-anarquista

I will make a donation in Euros on the day personally as I'd rather hang on to my DASH atm.  (cross posting from Dashtalk)

It's been a while since Dash has seen big movements but it does seems stable at the current range. Hmm, maybe I should get myself some action.

Thread humour  Grin

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update
