Hi All - Sorry if this is a very basic question. I've been lurking for a few months and have ordered 1x A741 to begin mining with after a fair amount of reading. I'm living with relatives on a large plot who are paying utilities. Before I ordered the unit, I was under the assumption that the electricity costs were around 10-11c/kWh, figured that was about the national average. I found out today it's actually 6.4c... What would you do in my circumstance, finding out you have nearly the cheapest kWh in the country? To add, I could get a fair amount of commercial rental space for $200-300/month.. I'm feeling inclined to order 10x more A741s...
i think this is the right choise... in this game, you can win just if you have electricity bill very low... anf for very low i mean 1Kwh<10cents/hour. This is impossible in the major of EU and in a lot of other countries... so, i think you are really lucky... |

io l'ho cercato per settimane qualche tempo fa per fare un ming rig per i burst, ma era sempre out of stock...
mi toccava ordinarlo in CANADA e spendere uno sbotto tra spedizione iva alla dogana!!!

I was about to buy an AntMiner S9 but i have noticed i can buy or build a miner rig with 6 video cards and M/B then i can mine different coins not just bitcoin like the S9 as the bitcoin is hard to mine I need advice being a newbie so what should i buy i have 2.5k spare  thx steve you are right... you can mine alt coins with a RIG... For example you can mine ETH with RX 470 / RX 480 AMD graphics card... or if you want you can mine coins like burst with a bunch of HDD... but forget to do BIG MONEY fast&easy |

Are there still compnys mining in africa? I think it would be a good investment to built up a mining farm there. Do you know any infos about that? What do you think? Imagine big solar stations in the Sahara for mining Bitcoins  this is a good idea.. but really, Do you think anyone has already thought about this idea? For planning thatm you need to know low of african states... not the same of your state for sure... and then you need to buy, a Land ownership, then you need to find workers who are able to install a photovoltaic plant... In short, not easy things! |

Ci sono molti punti di vista da come vedo.
Vi spiego la situazione, vorrei imparare a capire come Minare, quello è il discorso.
In poche parole ho visto che chi investe sui Bitcoin (non in Italia) riesce comunque, pian piano e con sforzi, a farne uscire dei buoni risultati.
1BTC al momento è sicuramente un ottima somma, più che altro vorrei capire ciò:
"Come faccio a minare in Italia se tutti lo sconsigliano? Ci sono siti dove investendo fanno un mining loro per poi spostare il ricavato sul nostro portafoglio? Se si, quale? Ho dato un occhiata a slushpool però non c'ho capito molto".
...forse mi sbaglio, ma pare che tu stia chiedendo questo, forse perché hai letto articoli o threads sul "Cluod Mining"... ? anche in questo caso ti sconsiglio di acquistare contratti per cloud minig... solitamente le società sono tutte basate su "Ponzi Scheme"... quindi ora ci sono,,, tra un po' chissà.... |

Ciao JPP1972, infatti ho avuto la stessa impressione, quindi adesso la procedura di acquisto è quella incasinata non basta più il semplice contatto via mail che era troppo comodo. Il dubbio è se effettivamente la Baikal manterrà la linea di dare una unità a persona oppure no. Non mi sono mai iscritto sul loro sito ma forse è il caso di farlo.

With the raising cost of hardware in mind I have to say no. Bitcoin will still be mined 50 years from now, but the rewards will be so small that the machines will need a lot of space, power and time to mine a block. Maybe someone will eventually come up with a miner that has enormous power with minimal power consumption, who knows, but we'll be old by then  i would not be so sure about this, since mining are only competing against theirselves and other miners now it's possible that if the value do not increase significally, that miners will have an hard time keep mining for profit the possibility to mine bitcoin for the next century only depend on the value of bitcoin and nothing else, but i think the nethash could see a reduction which would reduce the diff to compensate for the unprofitability, but still retain its security The bitcoin mining will be more concentrated as it is based on ASIC. Concentration is never a good deal... but if we are talking about "Concentration" in bitcoin world.. we are going against the basic logic of the project: DECENTRALIZE FOR FIGHT AGAINST ALL BANKS POWER |

If it's still profitable, how much it cost to buy all equipments and how much its possible to make $ ?
nowadays, the bitcoin mining business, is no longer profittable. just check by yourself, a bitcoin profit calculator. Asic miners consume a lot of electric current.. and in the last year, the difficulty,Has rised like a rocket... an then, to calculate you ROI, you need to consider possible equipement failure, Power outages and whatever stop you mining business for hours or days... and the roi, is going away |
