661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gamblers here who are in Debt ? on: September 13, 2017, 05:08:25 PM
There's no best solution for them to regain happiness, the solution is in their hands. Try to get rid first with their debts and after paying those debts, light will shine on them. And they will feel that it's happy to pay all of those debts. They can't move on if there is something that is pulling them back and that is those debts.

Yeah, problem gamblers who are in debt, they have no properly solution, their debt never give them happiness, and in this way, their family also disturb. The best solution is here or not, but we should avoid to borrow for gambling. All debt disturb your life and these type of gamblers have no respect in others people's eyes.

Yeah I think it's more on controlling yourself on how much you can afford to lose when yiu do gambling if you can't control your feelings and emotions then you'll probably have a lot of problems when it comes to money in the future which will ruin your life and family too.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: September 09, 2017, 04:50:25 PM
gambling is not something fix on witch you can rely or invest in, while trading is a real work witch needs strategies but no predictions.

Yes I agree with you mate. with proper knowledge and skills in trading you can make more money rather than gambling. Because gambling is just a game that you'll play and at any time it could take away all your savings because you're just depending on luck to win each game and not at all times luck is at your side.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: September 09, 2017, 04:47:17 PM
if you are already addicted you will definitely be greedy. one to control it is by determining the maximum limit every day when we gambling. lest we cross the boundary so we can get out of control

Indeed mate.. learn to control yourself by also controlling your emotions and feelings. If you think you can do these things to yourself then you can control not to be greedy in gambling. Just limit yourself every time you have a gambling activity.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustration in betting. on: September 09, 2017, 04:42:42 PM
It's natural to be frustrated when things aren't going your way Sad

Yeah.. perhaps very rich people will not be frustrated as we are when they lose in gambling. Compared to small time gamblers like me I would say I would be furious when luck is not at my side and will take away my money in gambling. Some rich people they only do gamble for their own entertainment.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 09, 2017, 04:39:21 PM
What strategy could you have in dice? Its literally either all luck or rigged by the website, come on...

Indeed mate.. LOL.. I don't know why some people could come up with a strategy when it comes to gambling specifically with dice games. Because if there's such a strategy on it.. more people or gamblers will follow the strategy and every dice games business will lose. Gambling games like this will lure you.. it will give you some winning but in the end it will suck all your money until you bankrupt.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 09, 2017, 04:35:25 PM
This two things cannot be compared !!
In fact investing is the secret of the wealth of the majority of people an it is 100% profitable in some field like food.
Whearas the pourcentage of wealthy people from gambling is very small.

In some point they can't be compared.. but for some investors or people who wants to make a profit both needs to be compared. I agree the percentage of profiting through gambling is very small since there's no assurance for you to win in every game. Investing is also risky when it comes to make money it's  a trial and error process until you get the best result to make money from it.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: September 09, 2017, 04:30:54 PM
No I don't really like slot games since it's not very beneficial for me since I can't make any profit from it. Because the chance for you to win is very slim which most of the time the result of the game is not within your favor. So far, the percentage that I win in slot games is only around 15% versus the average lost that I had with the game. So it's really not for me.
668  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever won a Jackpot? on: September 09, 2017, 04:17:39 PM
Unfortunately not.. but still hoping for it soon or in the future. Already tried every game and every raffle that's available in my country but still no luck. I can win in some gambling game but not as high as a jackpot. It's one in a million chances for me to win.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: September 09, 2017, 04:10:34 PM
Definitely not, for now... since I always gamble to try to make a profit. If I will play for the reasons as mentioned by the op... well I would lose a lot of money since you can't focus on a game if you feel bad. I always make sure that I'm in the good mood before I play because this will help me focus on gambling.
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: September 09, 2017, 03:51:23 PM
Not really, It doesn't matter what is the current price for me when it comes to gambling. My bet was depending on how much is my balance and not in the price. Gonna do the same thing even in the near future no matter what the price is.

Yes same for me too.. not relying on the bitcoin's price. I always set myself an amount on how much I'll spent for gambling and still doing this regardless if Bitcoin price will go up or down.
671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: September 09, 2017, 03:27:23 PM
using logic in gambling is not a safe way or a good strategy to win a game, but i think there is some tactics can be applied to play safe games.

As long as we can keep steady on our plan that we already made before we came into a gambling place and we can control our emotion, I considered we are on the safe zone. Don't let our emotion bring us to the very hard situation where we won't able to overcome it.
Always have control over the emotions as mentioned, because while we're into gambling each and every decision made should be done through a long research. When an user goes off emotionally, automatically the decision made by him goes wrong. Thinking it in mind it's good to know the limits affordability and then participate to be on the safer side.

I agree mate.. emotions is one of the factor as to why we became aggressive and not knowing of the risks that we may lose in the game. so we have to make sure that we know to accept how to lose if not we'll lose everything in gambling. Decision making will also be affected by our emotions because we can't focus on the game. so we need to be calm and focus on how to win.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: September 06, 2017, 05:53:42 PM
Yes.. when I was in college. me and my classmates always spent our time in billiard halls and we do our gambling session. We are allowed to gamble since we don't have a school uniform back then. We always skipped some of our late class just to gamble it was fun for experience but we stopped it because we failed our class because of our attendance.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: September 06, 2017, 05:48:29 PM
Why not? As long as we don't use all our profit to continue to hunt our luck that shouldn't hurt us at the end. Playing with profit money will give us a nothing to lose feeling and it is good.

It is still ok to use all the profit for entertainment/gambling. As long as you dont spend what you cant afford to lose then you are fine. In the first place, not many can even profit in the first place. But they still come and continue to play.

But it's better to keep some of your profit rather than using it all just to play it again in gambling because you might lose all of it and you're gonna regret it in the end. Keep atleast 50% of it for your savings then the rest is all yours and its up you on how you're going to use / spend it.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: September 06, 2017, 05:42:08 PM
Because there are some addicted gamblers that are trapped forever in their fantasies that someday they will hit it big or claim the jackpot and their loss are just a small amount compared to what they will receive.

I also think the same way. Gamblers are getting addicted to play just to chase their loses even if they lose a lot of money. Sometimes it's their ego that pushes them to continue to play they can't accept that they are losing when they gamble.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: September 06, 2017, 04:51:28 PM
a small portion of gamblers want to get pleasure from a gambling. they do not think of a money and a victory. just a stress reliever.

Indeed, even in the old times people don't have other way to spend their time other than work. So some of them do gamble just to kill time.. for them I think gambling is for fun and entertainment. But things have changed now, most number of gamblers have issues with gambling they go on bankruptcy so a fewer rich people only do gamble just for fun.

Of course, OKC would be there. The main question here is how deep their run would gonna be.
I think so too that they would really be there, that is really the question on the process if they have the chemistry to be in a team. But as I said that I am optimistic that they will gonna do their job for them to go on to the Finals.

Quote
Westbrook needs to trust his teammate now, he had Paul George who can score and can defend so he has to limit his offense and focus more on facilitating the ball. it's a problem if they will not gonna work together because Paul George has a star mentality that loves to run the team being him as a main man.
I excited for the regular season to start, there are a lot of trades that has happened and I want to witness who it will work.
Yeah, Paul George is a all-around player and really can handle a team but here is my man Westbrook also that is triple-double machine, but as you mention he should limit that one and I think its a good idea to begin with.

I hope the Paul George can blend with Westbrooke otherwise they will be an ineffective team. Yes I agree that Westbrooke should trust his teammates when it comes to offense because he can't lift the team without the support of his teammates. But it's still depends on him on how he will play this season.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: September 06, 2017, 04:09:20 PM
The benefit for me while gambling is that I don't realize how the time flies and I also forget about all my problems.

Opposed to this, when I am at work and have to do boring things, then one hour feels like never ending.

That's a good thought mate. Indeed that gambling is design initially for fun and entertainment to kill time plus a little bit of investment. Me too I always spend a lot of time when doing gambling because it makes me entertain and relax when I go to casino sites. I think that's the one of the benefits of gambling for me.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: September 06, 2017, 03:15:09 PM
leave the game when your money is run out. then you'll realize that all this time, you gamble and always lose, and your money has run out. leave the game when it's like that, before you sell your valuable things.

We will only notice it if our money has run out. We wont notice anything at all when we are not yet out of money. Thats what it is called as heavily addicted. Sometimes we dont really want to know anything else except to play, I was like that as well until I lose everything then regretted what have I did on the gambling site

Yes we only notice after losing everything. I have one solution for this if we make one limit and deposit only that amount means if we play full money also no problem because we lose only what we can afford to lose. Suppose if you become greedy and deposit more and play it is your risk.

I agree. set boundaries to how much money you can only afford to lose. Controlling your emotions and feelings will drive away also your eagerness to win in gambling.. you also need to have a lot of patience because if not, you'll stuck up in the game and you can't leave the game until you lose all your money.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: September 06, 2017, 03:07:52 PM
im investing like 90% of my wining in crypto and the rest i use it to buy some stuff online or cash out some of them to fiat.

That's a good strategy on investing and spending your winnings. Seems bitcoins really help us financially. I also do the same thing but not investing the whole 90%.. just like around 50% that I spend in investing then the rest is for my own spending.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: September 06, 2017, 02:58:24 PM
some people don't take seriously until they get damaged

One dude who i know have ruined the own commercial activity spending all the money on gambling.
He divorce with his wife for that.

Yes. It is truly that addiction in gambling will ruined someone's life and even family. So I think you should control yourself because once addiction will be in yourself therefore your family and your life will destroy you better manage yourself.

Better if you can't control yourself then don't do gambling because for sure you'll lose a lot of money, friends and might even your family.. just do other things with your money other than gambling.
