661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you care? on: October 06, 2017, 10:20:33 AM
We cannot blame the casino, Casino is made so that people can have fun while risking their money trying to win. Not all gamblers are losing in Casino some of them are winning why? because they know when to call stop unlike most of the gamblers they continue to play even if they are winning until they lose and after that they will call the casino a scam.
Casinos are not made for the sake of people. It is a business and the owners only want to earn money this business demands entertaining its customers. That is why casinos offer a lot of joyful games and ladies. This way they can keep the players for long. The gamblers that win are very few and the winnings are not very huge ones always but the only way to have a profit is to not gamble again.
Casinos are indeed a business, it was developed to cater to people that itch to gamble. It nevertheless attract a lof of people that think they can profit from casinos games and they would always be a winner, thinking that casinos are just some kind of magic ATM that when they deposit money afterwards they will pull out thousands of dollars out of it.
662  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▰ PARADICE.TO | First Casino with Android-app | Autobet/Invest/Free BTC/Jackpot/ on: October 06, 2017, 10:12:25 AM
Just Had a visit to the site.
To be very honest,
Awesome Welcome Screen  Grin That message "Welcome to Gambler's Paradice" was awesome

The Thing Which I liked the most was the QUIZ GAME on the chat.

Glad to see that tip and affiliate system will work soon.

Waiting for more and awesome updates  Cheesy
Are you even serious. This casino was proven as a scam, they scammed players and they tried to scam players of other gambling sites by using some sort of trickery with the url and they were able to imitate primedice's url.

Or are you just here to spam? :/

Really? But I think Now the site has lot more better things and improvement, They too paying. I withdraw there Smiley Don't know what happened with others. Cheesy But for me it seems legit Cheesy

P.S. Don't keep you credentials same as of Primedice Smiley

The site was very shady with many practises.

Back when it launched, I remember it had huge huge bugs and many players were losing money over them. Eventually the bugs got worked out and the admin started to improve the site and the design and everything.

What really killed the site was the Primedice phishing practise that was pulled. Stunna caught the act and called him out on it and ever since then it has died down.

But i think now they no more do phishing practice and the site too is fast Smiley

But the site is not better than PRIMEDICE Cheesy I agree.

Stop praising a scam please. They do not deserve good attention.
Try tried to scam, they should be punished and condemned for it.

I am guessing either you have a stake there or you're just genuinely naive.

I would have to agree with Lone Shark here. This gambling site has been proven to have made a phising site that tried to trick people that primedice is accepting investments on their site. This has been conclusively proven by primedice owner Stunna. So I think people should really avoid this casino as it is conducting shady activities.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker on: October 05, 2017, 09:33:06 PM
This question has been asked over and over again. To be honest there are only a few gambling sites that offer poker as a game. I think this is really because poker is not that profitable for gambling sites since games takes a lot of time to finish and they do not get a lot of margin per game. Then there is the issue that it is just a niche, which means there aren't much gamblers wanting to play it.
664  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone know if....... on: October 05, 2017, 09:26:31 PM
.....there are any sportsbooks out there that allow you to deposit with a card and withdraw to a bitcoin wallet and vice versa?
Thanks in advance.

Usually, if the sport book is bitcoin denominated it stays that way. Though there are some gambling sites that accepts credit cards and bitcoins together, I believe you cannot mix them together. Since that would just be like, converting your credit card payments to bitcoins which I think they want to prevent due to a lot of credit card frauds.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you tell if you are suffering from gambling addiction? on: October 05, 2017, 04:26:01 PM
Even if a person is not entirely addicted to the point of compulsion, it is possible that their gambling habits may not be entirely in their control. A problem gambler is someone who has some sort of gambling behavior that is disturbing their normal life. This can often be identified when a person begins to find themselves chasing losses, lying to loved ones about their betting habits, or starts to realize that they cannot seem to stop themselves from gambling more and more often. So it's really hard to confess your gambling problems except you have no money and no ways left to go. I used to be one of them so that why i know so well Smiley
That is a good way to put it. Indeed there are tell tail signs that a gambler is indeed addicted to gambling. Usually the do chase their losses and they bet every penny they have. Sometimes some of them just take loans to gamble with or even sell their property just so that they can gamble with the money. Pretty sad truth, but it happens everywhere.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: October 05, 2017, 04:02:06 PM
It can be known that a fine bottle of scotch has been purchased after a particularly large gambling win.

Pappy comes after a huge score.

Well if all you could buy was a bottle of scotch then i think you didn't win that big. Maybe the OP was expecting you to have said yyou bought a car or something big with your big money won or perhaps the price of a bottle of scotch is big enough for you?
That is funny. You have only bought drink? Totally? For that gambling is referred as wastage of money. You out your precious and hard-earned money into it and thus after much work what you receive? Nothing.

Better is to quit gambling for good and invest all your valuables and money into trading or investing or anything else, but never in gambling.

I guess you are the one that does not understand. Gambling is not about what you buy with your money. It is about enjoying the money you got from your winnings in gambling. If that guy was happy about a drink why do you care? Also, did you not consider that the guy could have possibly just won enough money to buy a brinks and not really anything else useful or significant enough to save the money?
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What leverage do you use on bankroll investments? on: October 05, 2017, 03:57:28 PM
For me, I love high risk gambling site investments, usually gambling sites do not lose in the long run, this is because statistically gambling sites will always win because of house edge. If we compute this house edge, it may be small but if you look at it in a graph with aa long list of bets, it would result that the casinos will always win in the long run, since the value will not go near zero but actually go down for the gamblers.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Gambling Industry So Successful in the World? on: October 05, 2017, 03:50:38 PM
Bitcoin based gambling industry becoming very popular, as many gamblers don't want go to casino or be known others that they want to gamble. Anonymous bitcoins make gamblers feel safe and privacy awake, unlike conventional gambling.
It is very pleased to see that even there are some people who believe bitcoin as an act of shame so that they don’t want to go to casinos to kill themselves.

But as you said that bitcoin gambling is amazingly increasing and there are more people indulging in it due to it anonymous behavior. Bitcoin have many amazing features except this one, it makes me sad.

Why does it make you sad? Gambling is not something that forced you to deposit money intto casinos or sports books. SOme people are really looking for a way to gamble, and through bitcoins they were able to scratch that itch for gambling. Indeed it may be a waste of money for you, but likely those people itching o gamble would be able to find some other way of gambling even without bitcoins.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots Strategies? on: October 05, 2017, 01:44:11 PM
If dice wasn't bad enough for gambling with a strategy, slots would be way worse. A lot of slot games has more than 1% house edge and even if you were able to think about a strategy on slots then it would be lose far quicker than when you just used one on dice.

I have played slots before and sometimes its really infuriating and other times a lot of addicting fun. But There doesnt seem much more to it than spinning the reels or pressing one button. Does anyone know of any slot strategies people use? Is there such a thing as a professional slotter haha. OR is it really the most heavily dependent on luck gambling game ?

Slots heavily relies on our luck, so we can't have any strategy to win on slots or on any other luck based games. slots are really addictive and fun, they also have highest house edge(we play it anyway lol). strategy can be applied only on skill based games.
Some have 1% house edge afaik you can search the list of slot games that most bitcoin casino offer on google. It depends on which game you choose to play.

There's still a little bit of skill applied(maybe 10%) to playing slots like swapping bet amounts after 5-10 bets kinda similar to dice.

How was swapping bets make anything better in these kinds of games? Is that a superstition or you have some mathematical explanation for that?
670  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiSignals: We're Back! - Arbitrage Betting Signals On Crypto Sportsbooks! on: October 04, 2017, 12:41:15 PM
There are still open spots for a free trial!

How can we take the trial? How many signals you have per day and what bankroll do we need for arbitraging? Do you have some public statistic to see how are you doing?

I don't think it is that profitable, if it was I don't think anyone would share it even for a fee.
Potentially these kinds of things would profit exponentially and that is why it could make you rich.
However, in arbitrage bets there are pitfalls,

1. A lot of sports books do not allow arbitrage bets. If spotted, they ban your account and say good by to your deposit as well.
2. It's really easy to spot arbitrage bets, since these bets are like 0.0321421523btc or 0.123528321. In reality, no one will place those kind of bets.
3. Limits, yeah those limits will likely be hit if you want to profit big time.

I don't think arbitrage is feasible unless those pitfalls are removed.
671  Economy / Gambling / Re: looks like bitkong site is secretly mining on users machine - (Browsermining) !! on: October 04, 2017, 12:31:22 PM
I actually implemented a "mining faucet" for bustabitv2 where you explicitly turn on a miner and then can collect the value of what you mine into your BaB account. However, the economics really suck. When I sandboxed the script, on my macbook pro it was only able to make about ~3 satoshis per hour. Unsandboxed and using all my cores, it would only get as high as 7 satoshis per hour. Considering the min bet on bustabit is 100 satoshis, I can't imagine many people are going to want to mine for 12+ hours to make a single bet.

I can't imagine it really makes any sense unless you've got millions of visitors on your site

I guess this solves the mystery of this case.

I also think bitkong will not risk their gambling site for some puny profits from browser mining. This is totally just a waste of time even for the operator. The only way, is like what RHavar said, it would be that there are millions of visitors going on the site.

Being that there are limited users of bitcoin even, I don't think there are millions of visitors on bitcoin.

To really make sure you don't fall victim to these kinds of attacks, better get an adblocker. I use adnauseam.
672  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are there any whales left out there? on: October 04, 2017, 10:55:17 AM
I think he is just trying to advertise the website. He posted himself as a whale by saying he bet 165 bitcoins on the website and he even asked if there are whales here which is obvious that he is trying to attract them. Obviously there are a lot of whales out there but they wont just easily shiw themselves because of some risks which are obvious too.

Yes he is. That's the very point of this thread. He's just advertising his own gambling site, where he said he gambled 165btc. I don't think though that he really did. Since if you're the owner, then there is a way you can probably get those bets back or just plainly show on the data that he did gamble that much money but he really didn't. I think it is an unethical way of promoting something.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: October 04, 2017, 10:47:35 AM
There are none, it is simply entertainment. If you approach it with this attitude, you may get lucky sometimes, if you go in hoping to come out wealthy, you will lose.
Let's not aim for money, instead look for the entertainment value, this is not our game and casinos has more interest of making themselves more profitable and they control the odds so we will never be given any advantage to beat them. Of course we win sometimes but let us not think we are already good as sometimes that will lead us to be aggressive and will lose more money. If we want to make money then I guess stay away from gambling and maybe focus on trading and investing as it gives good chances.

That is true, the reason why a lot of people get addicted is because they believe truly that they will profit from gambling and they will win back what they lost. However, it would be too late for them to realize that gambling is not a profit activity for the gamblers but more for the casinos and gambling site operators. Since indeed that is their business.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: October 04, 2017, 10:22:49 AM
For me yes it does affect my gambling habits. First off because I gamble converting it to fiat currency. So for me the risk is determined under the prices of fiat and not really just bitcoins. If I don't change my gambling bet size it would be catastrophic for me. For example, back when prices were just $300 a bitcoins, a 0.001btc bet would have been just fine, but now that is big already for me.
675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do u agree that Bitcoin will go to 500,000$ in 2020 by john Macafee claim ? on: October 02, 2017, 07:00:10 PM
It's totally ludicrous to believe it would happen, but I think it can happen and there is really no stopping bitcoins from reaching said amount. It may be high as fuck but who knows it might reach it. We just need a lot more adoption for it to happen. That's three years away but if the growth of adoption grows exponentially each day then it could be possible.
676  Economy / Economics / Re: CHINA will halts all Bitcoins exchange.... on: October 02, 2017, 03:01:34 PM
It is sad news indeed, however these ICOs had it coming. ICOs have been rampant these days and it is really getting out of hand. A lot of them are just plain stupid already. Remember the CONCOINs before? The coin of the convicts? That's a really stupid coin to begin with. How can convicts even trade coins, they do not have smart phones even in prison!
677  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price is increasing AGAIN on: October 02, 2017, 02:57:10 PM
Cant wait  to see the price hit 7000$ this december it will be a wonderful gift to all bitcoin holders.  I said that because people want to shop easy online and btc will be the primary payment method to be use in some online stores, bitcoin  demand will increase which makes the price to skyrocket.

Likely the prices will go down before november and then it will go up after that since that is why Segwitx2 is activating. Since 90% of miners are already signaling for segwitx2 then I think it will definitely go live by that time. But before it happens there would be mass panic again and prices will likely go down then up after it. Before the end of the year I am thinking it would go beyond $5,000 but not over $6,000.
678  Economy / Gambling / Re: ICO BitsPulse Gambling Platform on: October 02, 2017, 02:46:38 PM
Seems fishy to me though since this site is so new and then they want to start an ICO.

I would be cautious of new sites, there have been a lot of new gambling sites that just turned scam and there are also a lot of ICOs that turned scam. Not it possibly is combining both worlds into the ultimate scam.

I might be wrong, but I hope people exercise precaution.
679  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: October 02, 2017, 02:34:14 PM
money pot is good I think
for backup plan you can choose crypto games too
but that just advice Cheesy

Do you saw their site recently? I do not think that we can still invest on their site except on their ICO. But last time when I saw someone won like a lot from their site, I believr they can't even get it back. And their profit keep being negative. And just recently I checked their site is being good design right now but I can't find anything that their are profitting right now

I agree, Moneypot is looking like something that could possible die in the near future. Even their ICO is looking like a fail. It is almost deadline and they have only reached a total investment of 7 bitcoins. Which is quite far from their stated target of 1200 bitcoins. I hope they still continue though as their idea is something innovative but without backing it looks like the end for it.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: October 02, 2017, 02:29:32 PM
I gamble most of the time when I am alone.
It is really the purpose of gambling to relieve the pain, the loneliness and even boredom. But now i realize that relieving your loneliness is that you should focus to others rather than in gambling. Gambling can make your life risky especially in financial needs.

How did you come about that realization though? Did you lose and realize that lesson or did you just think and just blurted that you won't not focus your boredom and loneliness in gambling? I guess, you should have shared your thought process on how you came about what you just realized. There is nothing interesting about just an opinion that came out of thin air.
