@OP, enable 4g decoding in your bios
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.6 (Windows/Linux) on: March 31, 2018, 03:28:07 AM
Claymore's Dual Ethereum + Decred/Siacoin/Lbry/Pascal/Blake2s/Keccak AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner.
=========================

Latest version is v11.6:

- improved hashrate for weak Nvidia cards by about 1%.
- zero devfee for 3GB cards in Windows 10, same as for all 2GB cards.
- applied some tricks to increase available memory for 3GB cards in Windows 10 so you can mine ETH a bit longer.
- now you can press "y" key to turn on "Compute Mode" in AMD drivers for all cards (Windows only).
- Linux version: removed openssl library dependency.
- improved "-logfile" option, now you can use it to specify a folder for log files, use slash at the end to do it, for example, "-logfile logs\".
- added "-epoolsfile" and "-dpoolsfile" options.
- remote management: now "miner_getstat2" command also returns PCI bus index for every GPU.
- a few minor bug fixes and improvements.

But where is the Claymore's CryptoNight AMD GPU Miner update???

this is a piderast, while quote all post

and you do the same, you two deserve a kick in the @ss!  Cheesy

Hey @Maxmidnite, there is a Search Box on the upper right side of the forum, its somewhat useful

Like this one

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search2

but if you are looking for an update, I guess its in Claymore's waiting list

663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can't determine problem with rig... Advice needed. on: March 31, 2018, 03:01:27 AM
Can you try the following, use OverdriveNTool and under volt your cards just a little bit, let say 900mV and report back. If you can mine with this then you might have an PSU issue

Here are the settings the cards are currently at.  https://i.imgur.com/iJ1rIDH.png

All the cards are set here.  I am not sure where to change 900mV as you suggested.

Nah, I'll definitely discourage you to do OC settings when you do troubleshoots

and I doub't if its a driver issue when you could go 1 cards successfully, based on the picture.

Have you already Done this?

INCREASE VIRTUAL MEMORY
In search type “This PC“, right click on it and choose “Properties“
Then click on “Advanced System Settings“
On “Advanced” tab where it says “Performance” click on “Settings“
Click “Advanced” tab
At the bottom you will see “Virtual memory“, click on “Change“
1. Uncheck “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives“
2. Check “Custom size“
3. In the “Initial size (MB)” type: 3000 (or directly 16000)
4. In the “Maximum size (MB)” type: 16000 (or more like 20k)
5. Click “Set” , then “OK” and “Apply“
Restart the rig

So I attempted to put one of cards on the PCI-e 16x slot, and it worked fine.  Hashed without issue.  However, I do not believe it is the riser.  I have swapped out MULTIPLE risers and still had the same issue.  So you think it is the power supple then??

Well, If you are out of luck this is possible, we've seen users that has 16pcs of brand new risers all Faulty Wink

664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can't determine problem with rig... Advice needed. on: March 30, 2018, 02:04:39 PM
I might murder my rig...

my whole system freezes up and I have to hard reset. When isolating the GPUs this still occurs.  Does not matter if I have one running or all 6.

Have you tried using one GPU directly plugged PCI-e x16 slot on the board, then fire up miner?

Quote
I suspect that is it my motherboard or power supply.

If the above setup runs successfully, you either have a bad riser or power supply issue
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5 (Windows/Linux) on: March 30, 2018, 03:49:46 AM
i was told be someone to do this. can someone help me with making this happen for my NVidia. My NVidia is the 8th card the very last one.

Do you have -tt or -fanmin/-fanmax set? If yes, set it only for amd cards (from readme: for NVIDIA cards only temperature monitoring is supported, temperature management is not supported.), if no - more info is needed.

issue persist.
22:45:10:453   271c   NVML: cannot get current temperature, error 999 (an internal driver error occurred)
22:45:10:453   271c   NVML: cannot get fan speed, error 999 (an internal driver error occurred)
22:45:13:594   271c   NVML: cannot get current temperature, error 999 (an internal driver error occurred)
22:45:13:594   271c   NVML: cannot get fan speed, error 999 (an internal driver error occurred)

-fanmin 50 -fanmax 80 -tt -50 this is what i have in my line.

how do u set for amd only?

I Guess by trying to run 2 instances of Claymore miner, then in your line add/use -di options, check what are GPU indexes that is assigned for AMD and Nvidia
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining with GTX 1060 3GB cards? No longer possible? DAG/OS issues on: March 29, 2018, 02:31:45 PM
Configuration is OK, it was mining as I said without problems 24/7. Today at 2 in the morning it stopped, soon also your cards will no longer be able to mine ETH.
What coin are you suggesting to mine? As far I can see everything will go so down that we but GPUs for nothing...Waste of money, we will never be in profit, at least I know for myself. I'm mining from 2. January 2018.

All the best
J.

As far as I know, it still possible as of today, some users were able to solve this with the ff:

in Claymore

-lidag 1
-eres 0

DDU + 376.33

Also taken from Bro Vann's comments kudos to him:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.23000

it's a problem with Windows 10 allocating 19-20% of GPU memory, or in the case of 3GB cards, ~600 MB of VRAM. The current dag size is 2.39 GB, which is why on Windows 10 the Dag file is having trouble being allocated to memory on a 3GB card. The -eres switch and other workarounds are only temporary patches until the Dag gets bigger with every new epoch. Ultimately the longer term solution for 3GB cards is to move to an OS that allocates less VRAM, like Windows 7 that only allocates ~5% or Linux.

I need your advice. I want to mine using Claymore's with AMD+Nvidia cards, but I want to setup with nicehash pool and wallet. Is it possibe ? Nicehash opens 3 different clients but speed is lower than using Claymore.

yes its possibly, just use the nicehash wallet and pool.

read From 1st page

nicehash:
   EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool stratum+tcp://daggerhashimoto.eu.nicehash.com:3353 -ewal 1LmMNkiEvjapn5PRY8A9wypcWJveRrRGWr -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -estale 0
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v11.2 on: March 28, 2018, 07:57:16 AM
I'm facing a very strange issue and need some help please.

I have 2 rights with 5 x RX 470 ea. Both run perfectly stable mining ETH + SIA.

But when I try CryptoNote miner with same OC & Undervolt what happens is that the GPU 0 (first GPU) always has either 0H or 16-20H, all other cards work fine. But eventually the miner will crash because of GPU 0.

If I disable GPU 0, then the same problem happens to GPU 1 and so on.

This happens on both mining rigs so I dont think its a hardware problem.

Any reason why 1st GPU (GPU-0) would always show 0H? And how would I fix this?

Thanks in advance!

try to reduce your clocks, Ethash has different sweetspot on OC settings

669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5 (Windows/Linux) on: March 27, 2018, 08:22:28 AM
Goodmorning gentlemans,

I have 2 questions,

I use v10.0 is this ok? Or is better the use always the newest. I have tried newest but for some reason v10.0 works for me more stable at the moment.

its not usually applicable and will always depend on your requirements, new version has new kernels which imprroves a bit in AMD's hashrate, not sure thought with Nvidias as I've seen recent post that it has no significant changes and they've problem on newest versions.

The second qeustion is I have 8 gtx 1060 6 gb. Whats the max mhs ofcourse stable what I can get.
I get now around 23 mh per card OC.

Thx in advanced

Yes, thats fine

May I ask which GPU is best for mining the two ETH and XMR?

AMD GPU's best for ETH and XMR - RX vegas,

NVIDIA more flexible also good with ETH but not much with XMR compared to AMD
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH] Claymore Miner Crashes on Startup on: March 26, 2018, 06:23:00 AM
Unfortunately it turns out that I was sent 6 defective GPUs by Sapphire

Honestly I am in doubt about this, I never heard of a defective card especially on 6 items on a brand new from the box not unless its mishandled by users otherwise its a used one, care to share what are the test have done aside from mining? its already installed successfully by your OS and I highly doubt if sapphire would accept it as a default product defect due to mining issue.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining and fire hazard on: March 26, 2018, 03:44:46 AM
A regular schedule checkup is a must for the rigs, there are tools out there that are useful in doing chekups

this is a must buy

https://www.amazon.com/Seek-Thermal-Compact-Imager-iOS-Apple/dp/B00NYWABAA/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1522035577&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=seek%2B%2Bthermal%2Bimager&th=1

so any unwanted high temps could be monitored and acted upon, and so is true to your Electrical wirings and circuit breakers

673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Risers on: March 26, 2018, 01:23:44 AM
Couple of people recommended me that i should use the VGA cable i have 4 VGA cables with 6+2 and 6+2 on one string so with the first 6+2 i powered the GPU and then with the second one i powered the riser of course i bought extenders 6pin to 6pin what do you think about that ?

that is fine, with this setup it could actually look much neater in terms of wire managements. in terms of power handling the wire could possibly handle both GPU and riser

674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig AMD+Nvidia card issue on: March 25, 2018, 02:22:28 PM
Hi all,
My Mining rig AMD 8pcs + Nvidia 5pcs card have 2 card got OpenCL error ,any friend know what the problem?

error is coudn't create DAG on GPU, may we know exactly what AMD GPU's you've got there?

Or try adding -eres 0 in your Claymore .bat file configurations
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5 (Windows/Linux) on: March 25, 2018, 12:41:36 PM
Hello guys, i have lately one problem, but i dont i havent any rejects, and dont know if this is important. Here is mine log

15:09:50:546   12e8   GPU #1 got incorrect share. If you see this warning often, make sure you did not overclock it too much!

clyamore 11.4 (but 11.2 do same)

From one week this happend ONLY on gpu1

Havent any reject, mine question is why ?

msi rx 570 gaming-x , modded bios, 1150/2040 core / memory clock

Any suggestions ?

Thanks in advice

try to lower your clock a bit, however if the incorrect shares is not that often appeared then I guess its tolerable.

You will need to connect to a secure server using SSL .....read page 1 command line options  -epool

I tried to follow the "readme". It cannot connect through SSL.

I think nanopool has no SSL yet, try ethermine instead and change the port to 5555 to activate SSL
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA Founders Edition - 8-Pin Power Issue? on: March 25, 2018, 06:59:04 AM
With no 8 pin gpu plug this gpu never working.

Lol, the OP says

Quote
The lights on the card come on in green, but nowhere near as bright as my other cards.  I suspect its not getting enough power from the 8-pin cable

He has other cards for comparison, so basically he knew the 8Pin should be connected in PSU Cheesy however, just in case, its too good to be true, and a great help if OP can send us the picture with the 8pin PCIe cable connected to GPU, we are all human after all

677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Power for mining on: March 24, 2018, 02:47:44 PM
Hi everyone!
How do you feel about projects providing power for mining? I think it's profitable, because you do not need to take care of the room where to keep cards, the safety of cards. What do you think about this project and how do you treat such ico?

ICO? there were already services on this type

recommended is this

https://mining4less.com/pages/hosting

it has features such Monitoring and Management for all of your ASICs on one Dashboard anywhere

and last they have fairly good price Wink

..
A specific r9 380x. 39 390. and rx 580... When these 3 cards are inserted into the motherboard at all, it simply will not post.... Motherboard works fine with others rx 580s and rx 480s, and these cards work fine in other motherboards...
..
Hello friend,
try using atikmdag-patcher, and you can see the information here POST
the app works on my rig, hope it helps your problem.

Oh dear, dude! the OP cant boot up, how could on earth he use pixel patcher

Does anyone have any idea?

Have you tried with  2 X R9 on that mobo (380x + 390)? What else have you tried? I suspected that was less power

I Have same feeling as this

Hello.. My first post  Shocked

I download 11.5 and what about :

Trojan:Win32/CoinMiner!bit
and
SppExtComObjHook.dll

in my Temp and Reg ...

How about reading the first page  Wink

- Windows 10 Defender recognizes miner as a virus, some antiviruses do the same. Miner is not a virus, add it to Defender exceptions.
I write miners since 2014. Most of them are recognized as viruses by some paranoid antiviruses, perhaps because I pack my miners to protect them from disassembling, perhaps because some people include them into their botnets, or perhaps these antiviruses are not good, I don't know. For these years, a lot of people used my miners and nobody confirmed that my miner stole anything or did something bad.
Note that I can guarantee clean binaries only for official links in my posts on this forum (bitcointalk). If you downloaded miner from some other link - it really can be a virus.
However, my miners are closed-source so I cannot prove that they are not viruses. If you think that I write viruses instead of good miners - do not use this miner, or at least use it on systems without any valuable data.

680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Router mining ETH at 21Mh/s using only 18Watts on: March 24, 2018, 02:14:41 AM
"The device mines cryptocurrency earning subscribers $44.37 USD of Ethereum-based tokens per month". I stopped reading after that line.

So 1 router = 50 gpus hehehehehehe, hey tell bitmain they have an asic competition hehe

Dude, it say's per month not per day

1 Rx470 = 1.1USD/day

50 rx470 GPUs = 55usd/day or 1650usd/month

https://subutai.io/router.html

What does everyone think of this?

Seems pretty impressive getting 21Mhs using only 18Watts. Basically less than 1 Watts per Mhs which is loke 500% more efficient than the most efficient GPUs.

I guess it's possible since it already has Ram and a CPU. Seems they are using FPGA to achieve this.

whoa.. the hell of a watts, if this were true, unit price may be a second thought
