661  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: October 07, 2020, 10:33:47 PM
You would see most of the countries who claim to be corona free are havin pretty less population except China ofcourse. So govt really can't be blamed. But yes there is one reason for which I blame my government is because they were too slow in closing international airports. When the virus had already spread in end of February the first step should have been to shut. All the airports and make countries a bio bubble but obviously the top leaders are always just reactive and never proactive. Now there is just one hope that is vaccine until then just expect the number of case growing.

Vietnam has remained  largely free from COVID 19, with just around 1100 total cases and 40 active infections. They are not a small country. Vietnam is having a population of over 100 million. The same can be said about other countries such as Thailand, Tanzania and Taiwan. On the other hand, some of the smaller countries were among the worst hit, including Qatar, Bahrain, Andorra and Panama.
I also read about the countries corona virus status but I hope those countries wont be exhausted from practice the good hygiene and the medical procedures they used to curb the spread of the virus.
Teosanru, governments are to be blame for the 80% of the pandemic situation because none of them gave China the required support before the virus spread globally.
What kind of support did China Require?
China themselves were too late in declaring the situation alarming. Moreover country like China doesn't really needs support of any country around the world. Yes I agree governments have played their role in the virus spread but I think the most crucial thing that any country should have done was sealing their international borders rest everything would have been sorted. Even the leader of opposition in my country was shouting the same thing since February but our government realized the same only until March end which alas was too late.
China didnt ask for any support from others countries when the Covid 19 issue broke out but the rest of the world are watching and witnessing the ridiculous increase in the number of affected people and the announcement made the Doctor that detected the virus then but no one stood up.
Though China dont ask for help then but theres always a way other country could assist them then and also curb the spread of the virus.

How do you measure good hygiene?
Aside avoiding overcrowding place, bathing, washing of hands etc. Good should measure from what we eat, how we exercise, how you love yourself and others by not exposing them or yourself to danger.

European countries used to consider themselves too hygenic now you can see their fate? Maybe density of population plays some role or maybe some natural immmunity to certain set of people as Vietnam, Thailand, China, Taiwan belong to roughly the same sub continent and have some matching traits?
Natural immunity play some roles cause I read that the Chloroquine which was not endorsed by WHO is what they used in Africa but the reason European countries COVID 19 issue was huge is because they didnt take it serious from the beginning.

663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IOCTA 2020 – Internet Organized Crime Threat Assessment (Europol) on: October 07, 2020, 12:19:58 PM
Quote
In 2019, the overwhelming majority of bitcoin transactions were linked to investment and trading activity so, despite considerable abuse, criminal activity corresponds to only 1.1% of total transactions
I was wondering why United State SEC in a statement last year, 2019 says bitcoin is not used in money laundering and terrorism financing, I believed criminal activities of 1.1% is very low and would be the reason.
It good to know that the US SEC was totally honest about the situation of cryptocurrency being used as an instrument of money laundering but I believe the reason why they rated crypto 1.1% being used to finance criminal activities was because of the 2 Trillion dollars money launder in the secret government documents that set off how the Western banking move trillions of dollars of dirty money. Mind you, the whole crypto market cap was not up to a Trillion dollars.

664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My experience as a newbies in ICO/IEO on: October 06, 2020, 11:32:52 PM
Is there still an ICO projects? I thought most of the are now adapting the IEO
Yes, there are stilll project that do there initial offering through ICO and if you check the altcoin bounty section you will see some of them there but they did some modifications in how they introduce themselves to the public so that naive investors wont understand their initial offering was run through ICOs

Well that's true I invested before to ICO multiple times especially on presales and what happened is that after hitting the exchange the value of my investment almost reduced up to 60%
No, not only ICO alone because 97% of all new coins are hype base and the coins usually experience dump when they are  listed on exchange but if the team involve have good strategy to help the coin surge in price the coin will be save thats what Uniswap does about their UNI.
665  Economy / Gambling / Re: DuelBits |Instant BTC & ETH deposit & withdrawals | Live Games & Slots! Rakeback on: October 06, 2020, 04:21:47 PM
There are already so many casino's here on the site. we want a sportsbook as well, not only casino's. but okay, a casino appears to be much more easy to start than a sportsbook for gambling.
hopefully you will find some players, the fact that it is only a casino and no betting on sports is a negative point.

This is just bad, the OP is promoting his casino hence we must not insist on something that they didn't want. Would you tell a starting business, example like a lemonade stand, that lemonade is so cliche so we want some burgers? But I get your thought, duelbits is a casino but they can also upgrade soon to add the feature you want. And also, there are differences when you would start a gambling platform, when it would be a casino type or does it feature a sports betting. Both are easy to start when you would focus on only one of it. Would you tell those sportsbook websites to offer slots and dice upon the release of their platform?

I guess the suggestion is good but since this is the is new then maybe best to focus on the current game which I think not bad, building a reputation is a must since maybe it's a bad decision to rush things up and marketing campaign exist now and building a community is the main focus before this addition really happen. If more people will demand about the sports book for sure it will be added in future.
According to Hhampuz statement, the owner welcome any suggestions and Wildan88 suggestion is good but was not presented in a proper way. However, we all know how many years Bitslser only provided services for casino games before they add a sportsbook. It a gradual processing cause all this thing involve good thinking with steps cause if they sportsbook service that is no quality we will complain about it.
In the meantime, I'm sure the duelbit teams are aware of every suggestion and working on it but I will be happy if the team adds a crash game.

I love the site though it super cool and welcoming!
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone know a dice game that is actually fair? on: October 06, 2020, 01:46:52 PM
All of these supposedly statistically fair games seem to rape you when you cash anything out or just when you decide to bet bigger than some micro level.

Curious if anyone has ever beat one without getting crushed the second they take some off the table?
I don't really understand your question here how could they rape you when you are already cashing out?
People have a reason to believe the site owners or game operator cheated when the game result seems to be switched and when the site owner doesn't provide the adequate seed with a link to verify the algorithms of each game. However, the OP makes a good point cause some provably fair site does cheat but I will advise him to always check the fairness information site before using it.

670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Former UKIP Politician Godfrey Bloom Buys His First Bitcoin on: October 05, 2020, 10:41:55 PM
So guys here is a great news. Bitcoin is growing bigger. Also take attention of politicians.
So the news is that:
Former UKIP politician (the UK Independence Party) Godfrey Bloom took to Twitter to share that he made his first bitcoin purchase this week, diversifying his portfolio from the precious metals. The 70-year old has enough gold and silver that had a blast in 2020 thanks to the Federal Reserve’s monetary stimulus. Now, he is looking to get into the leading digital asset, which has been attracting a lot of big players this year as an “inflation hedge.” He further insisted that some top crypto people should teach him about crypto
This is great news to the whole crypto community but Godfrey Bloom was not the first and won't be the last politician to buy or invest in Bitcoin but the element that make this politician investment in crypto hurt is that 95% of all the politicians that invested in Bitcoin or understand it benefit don't talk about it until they leave the office samething happened with Trump ex chief strategy.
@OP, always add the link to the news source so you wont be accused of plagiarism.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi: liquidity mining with Obyte. on: October 05, 2020, 07:59:32 PM
i'm interested in investing to this but I'm no good with defi i'll bookmark this thread and see where it goes. i think just like the previous user said try to include the project's website and social media so we could review the project.
1) If interested and want to invest in this project while youre yet to understand the concept of Defi project. I will advise you to read and understand the revelation Defi involve and how to avoid the risk.
2) The response on the oswap site says "This project is in beta. Use at your own risk." Be more careful if youre going to trade on it.
672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Investing/trading Opportunities for stable returns? on: October 03, 2020, 07:04:06 PM
...
1.  Binance Savings: Binance has a product called Binance Savings that allows users to "lock up" their funds and earn some interest for keeping them locked. The rate ranges from 1% to as high as 21%. You can participate using tokens or using stable coins like USDT, BUSD, USDC etc. Personally, I haven't tried it out but people who has said it's good plus it's a solid exchange like binance – you have to consider the risks too.

Website: https://www.binance.com/en/lending#lending-pos

Yes, Binance has recently been offering its clients a very large selection of its investment offers. And one of the new directions is DeFi Staking: https://www.binance.com/en/defi-staking For those who specifically hold their BNB on the exchange in order to participate in Launchpad, this is a very interesting offer, because it allows you to earn additional income.
+1 for this.
However the BNB staking is not the way of making stable returns and risk free investment through Binance for there are seven more which are through the launch pool, the Bswap, locked stake, storing stake, Binance card, saving BNB etc.
With that been said, Bank roll investment is another way of making good returns
673  Economy / Economics / Re: Are the Central Banks starting to worry about the public's perception? on: October 03, 2020, 04:31:42 PM
Like the saying change is inevitable and it not something new that the central bank and institutions monetary policy do more harms to the economy and with the damge caused by the pandemic, the public already had enough of naive policy the Central Bank always provided which is the reason why they worry about the public preception but it will be better if they follow the advise once giving them by the IMF Boss rather than the monetary that will lead to another disaster.
674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone accidentally sent or received BTC to and from another address? on: October 03, 2020, 03:56:53 PM
I'm curious but has anyone here accidentally received btc or bch or any other coin from another address that you know was by accident?  Thus it was not direct and wasn't an airdrop or anything like that?

I had received a tiny bit of bitcoin cash to my nano ledger s... but it was tiny amount not even a penny worth... and someone who is very knowledgeable said it was a dusting attack which is almost harmless.
Since tiny amount of crypto was sent your personal wallet, then it was indeed a dusting attack usually used by hackers to trackdown people or company personal wallet activities and it shouldnt be consider as harmless. I will advise you to me more careful or always you privacy coins or mixer to send transaction to your wallet.

But is it almost impossible to send btc to the wrong address assuming you are off one letter or a bit off?
It possible to mistakely send coin to wrong address but not inform of tiny amount.

Or is odds going to show that address is incorrect?
The transaction will not be send if the address is not up to 26-35 characters long which make a valid address.

675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is coin who Will compete with very soon on: October 03, 2020, 02:19:28 PM
There is one coin who Will do that.

Its called monero!
Lol I forget to mention that economy knowledge is Not a limit of my knowledge
Monero was among the cryptocurrency in the market which was widely used and also supported by a lot of crypto enthusiasts. Besides, it manages to be among the top 20 for years which is the reason why I dont understand what youre trying to say about Monero competing soon cause theres no other privacy that have the potential of Monero.

Soon it Will move to top market Cap coins.
Speaking market cap. An exchange site was accused of faking the Monero market cap and I hope you are not using the exchange cap to make your predictions.
676  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Mixing Services on: October 03, 2020, 11:56:38 AM
Is there any advantages that I am missing here, compared to Chipmixer, Samourai and Wasabi wallets?

Both Samourai and Wasabi wallet are more transparent and you have full control your Bitcoin all the time. I would use both over any kinds of mixer.
I think you miss the part all SPV wallets cant be used alone when security/anonymity is the top priority and with the statement made by CipherTrace, chain analysis, etc I think people need to be more careful when using SPV wallet. Mind you, the shortcoming detected about Wasabi that a large amount of transaction can be bypass and I once a thread where Theymos advise the use of a mixer and SPV wallet when anonymity is the top priority.

I don't remember technical detail of Samourai, but Wasabi:
1. Uses Tor by default
2. Uses BIP 157/neutrino which improve privacy of SPV wallet
3. Will use your own full node (if you run one)

Don't compare Wasabi with other SPV wallet such as Electrum.
I totally know how Wasabi wallet operate and I dont compare it either with other SPV wallet cause they are not using the same technology to provide there service but you saying you'll use both Samourai and Wasabi over any kinds of mixer is the reason why I said in a situation when anonymity is important it not advisable to use only SPV wallet cause there are some information that the UTXO of privacy wallet can be breach what was said by Cipher trace and OXT research.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CFTC Charges BitMEX on: October 03, 2020, 12:00:14 AM
CFTC Charges BitMEX Owners with Illegally Operating a Cryptocurrency Derivatives Trading Platform and Anti-Money Laundering Violations.
Among those charged are company owners Arthur Hayes, Ben Delo, and Samuel Reed, who operate BitMEX’s platform through a maze of corporate entities.

Bankers never go to jail. They will hire good lawyers and after 5 years paid few millions penalty and that would be it. Just another day for bankers in the office.
You are absolutely right and the lawyer most of them usually choose is Gal Pissetzky etc.
With that been said, it hurts that most crypto currency exchange owner of these days do more warn to crypto than doing something which will yield more profit and exposure to crypto cause acouple of weeks ago it was korean exchange and now it BitMEX
678  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: paxfull.com - scam site / "BIG" company makes a mockery of your privileges on: October 02, 2020, 11:34:49 PM
After all, there was an entry here that KYC makes no sense at all and even helps criminals to act at the expense of innocent victims. This is all one big absurdity!
Firstly, I believe this is not the first time paxful will ask their user to go through some KYC before he/she can access his/her fund and if you search through this forum you will understand that youre the first victim but I believe they usually do that when they notice something fishy account the account or some report the account accordly to their rules/regualtions.

Meanwhile, KYC make no sense within the crypto community but to P2P and centralized exchange site it a real deal. However, KYC help criminals at the expense innocent victim if a data breach occur. I will advise you not to use p2p and centralized exchange you dont trust or understand their rules and regulations in future.

My account has only the positives and apart from this small number of transactions, just a month ago I had a limit of about 300 usd to work and now they have reduced it to zero. I think it is a deliberate misleading and also a deception. You know that you have a limit and here suddenly this limit is reduced to zero. This is the action for all accounts i think

I think it should be publicized.

Let's assume another case.

You have money on BINANCE and you know you don't have to do KYC.
Suddenly they force it on you or you lose money ?

Would BINANCE still be the number 1 exchange? NO
They would lose a lot MORE

I think the same should be done with paxfull - that is, completely WARNING FROM PAXFULL !
I understand your message but you seems not to understand that every exchange site have there own rules and regulations which they must follow. However, paxful cant be compare to Binance because paxful is a peer to peer crypto marketplace and every peer to peer crypto site usually force KYC procedure on their user whenever they see something which seems to violation rules and regulations.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Co-founder of Reddit Bullish on AVAX. You? on: October 02, 2020, 11:03:36 PM

Hes not the only one. If you check Twitter, /biz or Telegram Avalanche is one of the most shilled coins out there. Their idea is smart and they just got their mainnet working, but they still have to proof that they can deliver what they are promising. I am excited for the next month. AVAX is growing and we will see if this coin could really become of the top10 projects out there.

That's just the matter of time until the team will prove everything but this coin has backed by a very big community too. The developers were also very active in promoting this coin or create a platform to make the community can try to give their contribution to the avax.

From what i have seen if avax has already backed by the legit team.
Emin as the CEO was also a positive value for the avax project.
The main net has already launched and we will see another interesting event will come from avax. That's quite interesting to keep watch in the avax development.
Due to what have happened in crypto sphere, the attractive of new project developer, promises and project been backed by influencers shouldnt be consider as good coin for another x10 profit. However, my research about this reveal that the coin was already listed on some exchange while it is yet to be totally launched and the coin seems to be of two type.
Meanwhile, those influenced that were bullish about this project invested in it private sales so we shouldn't expect nothing from them than to said something positive about the coin.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Openbazaar needs your support on: October 02, 2020, 06:51:46 PM
Sad to know but a lot of people here only for trading & speculations, they are not ready to support important projects
You make a good statement because there is always a preconception when issue like this rise up samething happen when bitcoin block limit were discussed and it because we cant all have the similar view about things.
With that been said, I dont think you also noticed that 90% of all crypto enthusiast around the world dont support crypto marketplace base project and i will advise to do research about it but the reason behind it is what I dont understand and it not that they dont want to support important projects.
In the meantime, it good openbazaar get the support they needed
