Proving he is guilty is one thing. Proving ALL of the coins were profit from SR is another thing. I am assuming when he got paid by SR, the BTC was sent through a tumbler, so for them to prove which coins are his and which coins are from SR will take forever if even possible.

Also, I'm not 100% convinced he will be proven guilty of ALL charges.

Dear Institutional Investors:

Dat Liquidity  Smiley
You can buy 20K BTC average price $675, without pushing the price to $700USD across exchanges.

Sounds like a deal to me!

Manipulator on bitstamp is trying to create panic sells near the trend line by putting up huge sell walls. Good thing is its not working. I hope a whale comes along and takes his damn coins from him. You can tell it is mostly one person because he keeps shifting his asks around, as seen on bitcoinity.
666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 08, 2014, 04:17:20 AM
First we waited for the downtrend to end. Then we waited for the rally to start, according to the calendar. Smiley  Then we were waiting for the auction. What are we waiting for now?  Huh

The Winklevii ETF "COIN" to be activated on the 11th

As FUD becomes less and less effective, manipulators will become more and more desperate. I am anxious to see what they do next to get cheap coins from panic sellers and bad traders. I suspect most of the asks are piled up by the manipulators to keep the price down, therefore there is even less liquidity of coins to buy than we think. If the manipulators removed their asks it would be pretty scary how thin it would be, and the price would probably rocket as we eat through tiny ask walls.

"Manipulator" sounds like a bad name, but they are only trying to get as many coins as they can without the price moving too much, and who can blame them for that? Its a whale eat whale world in bitcoin, so it will only work until another whale comes along and eats all the asks up.

So you are saying that if I sell my coins now I can give up the chance to make amazing profits that can only be had in bitcoin? That sounds great, I think I'll sell my 400 coins now before we go to the moon. I would hate to sell my coins for $5000 when I can sell them now for $630! I would much rather have $250,000 than 2 million.

How weird. We're going up and someone dumps 47 coins. That person could have sold any day but decides to do it when we go up.
Some people really shouldn't be trading.

Manipulation... Duh

My bids were filled. Thanks panic sellers!

Who is ready for the weekend pump?
672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 02, 2014, 01:57:45 AM
So, playing with margin has been fun, but now all it says is "System buy limit reached"

Is this a normal thing? Or am I getting zhou-tonged?

It was telling me that the last 2 days. Pretty much there is no more "loans" available, and that all the longs available have been taken. I had to wait until someone sold off when we dropped to 640 the first time earlier today to be able to go long. You just have to try it from time to time and hope you catch it.

beaten by belgium in world cup.
Fuck you

This thread won't last long but...

Nobody cares about sissy futbol. We care about grown men American Football. Good luck beating us in that lol.

Side note: don't be surprise when Belgium wins the whole thing, they are the real deal.

Maybe the btc-e seller didn't want to miss the bitcoin train. Selling 100K LTC might have taken too long  Cheesy
675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark my words on: July 01, 2014, 11:14:48 PM
sale was well below market. Buyers of the coins started the market going and they are now dumping the coins for massive instant profits. Once people realise they were duped they will dump as well. There will be a crash and the SR buyers will re-buy at a really low price as well as profit massively from their manipulation of the market.

This was already proven wrong. Buyers who bid at market lost and have said so. So quit lying and shut up.
676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Only one winner for the 30k BTC from the auction! on: July 01, 2014, 10:07:34 PM
How could they let people know they lost already when the award process is ongoing? You have to pass the background check before the auction so that can't be it. I bet someone won all the blocks of coins at a high price, and if I am not mistaken, I read or heard they were selling them in chunks so no one entity could turn around and sell them. I think it was on the news clip that aired right before the auction. My guess is some bank bought them all and they are trying to revise the rules, to whose benefit I have no idea.

I called this in the wall observer thread the other day. I also give it less than 1% chance this entity sells anytime soon.

Just wanted to publicly pat myself on the back.

My thoughts in another thread. (bold text)

Quote

“The award process is ongoing,“ Donahue said.

“Not today,” confirmed another spokesman for the Marshals Service. “I’m not at liberty to say why. The process is still ongoing,” he said.

How can you screw up a simple auction?

Can you confirm a screw up occured?

Didn't think so.

There are several practical reasons they might delay the final results.

679  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Leveraged Trading at Btc.sx - What improvements would you like to see on: July 01, 2014, 04:14:04 PM
I would like more liquidity. I had to close out my position to make sure I had enough for fees and now I cannot reopen a position due to system limit being reached. Its been like this for days. I would love to see a sign on your page when you are not able to go long, just grey out the buy button or something so I will know not to close out what I have.

$650 on stamp should fall pretty soon. Huobi is acting like it wants a go too.
