hello bulls!

you said I'm gonna regret for shorting @ 255, but I see how desperately and in a hurry you are unloading your bags. keep it above 250 and trap as many noobs as you can.

Price goes up $20 and suddenly ...

Why can't you bitcoiners try telling the truth just for once?  It's $10 Angry

It's how I make 5 figures per month. If you don't understand, maybe read a book instead of talking yours.

dude, he is a pro trader. he recognized this triple bottom forming at 236, caught it and then sold it for 256.49.

Jorge, if a minig cartel ever threatened to change the rules of Bitcoin, the value would plummet as everyone jumped ship to a new coin. Why would they ever do it knowing that it would devalue their assets?
This is a nonsense answer to me. Why would they have to threat anything?

They CAN do many different detectable and undetectable manipulations, with or without violating Bitcoins rules. There is no need to change the rules.

They could manipulate: TX relaying, block relaying, not mining TX they dont like (to low fees, unwanted origin), banning of nodes, logging & spying on users, implement black-lists, ..., etc.

I doubt  that such changes would remain undetected by the whole community.

Sooner or later someone would see them, make it public and people would leave the pool.

I can tell you that one of the admins of eligius accused one of the biggest miners there for withholding blocks.

they cleaned out his account. 200 btc.

never returned to him nor other honest miners in the pool. it is very difficult to prove withholding attack, but they did it somehow (nobody knows actually how) and kept the money.

so in the end it comes to the admins of big pools. they have the power, yes. and like that guy said in the tweets and like everybody witnessed it with a version of a client that contained a serious bug (not remember which version), they will solve it by themselves on IRC. meaning behind closed doors.

active longs vs shorts

but this time it will be a fucking mess.

667  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 03, 2015, 06:02:19 PM
You speak in what if's with little knowledge of the subject or that mater what "miners" want. No alts for starters...  A larger block size would solve transaction limits as was the original intent.

Did you read the posts?

Adam wrote that it was so difficult to get consensus on even trivial changes like increasing block size, imagine on postponing the halving.  I just pointed out that the miners will have no monetary gain with larger blocks, but would have a huge one with the postponement.

Last time I checked, the top 4-6 miners had more than 51% and were all in China.  Do we know what they may want?

Since that "attack" would not be risk free, the top miners will not want to risk it unless they have much more than 51%.  Also, if the price more than doubles before that, say 800 $/BTC by early 2016, they would probably regain a comfortable profit margin and may be happy with it.

But with the price at 800 $/BTC, on the other hand, postponing the halving would give them ~500 M$ of extra revenue per year...

Yes but ONLY IF Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Bitpay, BTC-E, Second Market BIT, Winklevoss fund, etc accept these "Bitcoin"

fuck them. no miners no network.

again this story about short squeeze?

 Roll Eyes

better look at those fake bids so nicely stacked in close 240 + range. 7 k to 240 and then like 4 k till 220. but keep buying in 250+ range pigs.

we need you.

Enough yapping. But I suppose that is all you can do apart from help the price higher when you cover.

I am tempted to move more funds to bitfinex and short sell more, actually.

but I dont trust them that much.

bistamp feels safe.

that support at 250 is laughable. I mean, bears are just waiting for more walls to be placed in that area.

and you are a fucking bull sockpuppet inca. I piss on you.

I still have hope for 300$ for next week, if price will go down more, I will buy more. I don't sell under 300, selling under 250$ is also crazy.

yes...let's trap more pigs.

come to papa!

Price goes down for 10$ and bulls demand silence, since its only a 10$ drop, nothing that value attention. Price goes up for 10$ and the same idiots claim bears to close their shorts.

The exchange price is above his alleged short entry.

say again you fag!

but this is nothing...I will see you in the underworld.

your Hades!

Poor Tarmi!

I am not poor!

I am a king bear!

general public? you call a community of nerds, die hard speculators doing 20 x leverage, libertards, drug lords and scammers general public? no, dude.

It was you who said that general public is getting out of interest in terms of Bitcoin, not me...
And yes, do you think that the community only consists people mentioned by you only??? I think you should also look towards the right side of the coin as each has two sides I guess... So, just flip it the other way... Wink

general public = average joe.

those mentioned in my posts are not by any means average.

Dude, I know that... I knew that you were talking about average joe and not the ones mentioned in your posts...
And I was also talking about them only as how many % of those average joe's (who joined Bitcoin world) left at such places where Bitcoin had been banned???

no, it's not about bans.

it's about the inability of average joe to use this thing.

not true.

I was skeptic, but I didnt sell or short back then.

now I say fuck you.

You don't sound skeptic, but pessimistic... Wink
I think that if we want Bitcoin to become the mainstream, we need to focus on its advantages more instead of just breaking out the doors and opening them for disasters like what happened after Bitcoin reached $1k...

I have my...reasons.

I think this thing has serious fundamental flaws, interest of general public is going down, many black market scams, many mining scams, centralization of the network, legislation problems, branding problem...and many many more.

but the best and most accurate indicator are bulls talking about bull market starting after a low volume rise to 298.

No, you can't say that...
It's the government who's trying to put centralization in between as a condition, or instead they don't want Bitcoins at their place, and there are several, but did general public stop using it??? I agree with your black market and mining, but everything needs time to brand itself, and bitcoin still is a whole lot new concept to most people who, according to me, haven't even heard of it yet...

I am not a bulltard, I only speak what I see, and for your reasons, I would say that talking bearish will only harm the value of BTC as I always see more people coming up and start saying that the price will eventually go to here and there... Once again, I ain't saying this in anger, but giving it as a reason...
