If, in the future cryptocurrency becomes a major currency in several countries and the fiat currency of that country dissappears, such as USD, EURO, POUND ETC... who/how, will one value a crypto currency against, as there is only other coins to value it?
I don't think it will happen in the future, because in my opinion, it will be going to have a big adjustment to all of us if fiat will disappear, and cryptocurrencies is just our currency, it will make us a hard time to use it and to adjust for all of us especially there are still most of us doesn't know about cryptocurrencies, and they are just relying on fiat. Fiat for me is important because it has a stable value, unlike cryptocurrencies. |

I can say that we can still do them both, if you are good at investing then you can enter them both especially in the stock market if you already know your market and how to analyze just like in crypto world it is also the same with stock market, the differences between the two is that you can earn it even if you don't put some money or even if you don't invest, you just need to work for it to earn crypto you can also do a lot in crypto we can do mining, trading, investing at the same time, while you cannot do mining in stock market but they are both have the same potentials and different advantages it depends on our knowledge on how we can manage them.

Bitcoin can be just used online transaction, it can still consider as your payment but it is just used by online, it can still have a value like other currency that we have, just like physical money. the beginning of the first crypto is the bitcoin followed by altcoin. at this point the base of all altcoin is bitcoin, so when bitcoin dies then altcoin dies. so in my opinion cryptocurrency can not be without bitcoin.
I agree because, in my opinion, most altcoins are relying on bitcoin which is they cannot stand without bitcoin, if bitcoin value drops, then their value will drop at the same time. |

I don't understand your strategy that buy some,sell some and hold some.Are you talking ablut bounty rewards? You really need to follow biy low and sell high if you want the profits. no, im talking about trading, for example i buy 100%, sell 70% and hold the 30%, for me its increasing profit. I get your point, but I think selling your 70% of your trading is not that easy because the price right now is not in the uptrend it is always on a downtrend nowadays but the strategy of buying low and selling high is really a good strategy for short-term investors. |

I bought some bitcoin in March 2017, sell half of it in Dec 2017 and hodl the other half since then. The current downward trend seem to last for a very long time and I'm quite upset about it. What do you guys think? Should I hodl or sell all my BTC now?
That's a good amount of profit already, you already gain profit last Dec 2017, but in my opinion, it is still the best to hold your bitcoins, for now, maybe we can have a good amount for the next Dec, and maybe this year would be the best time to wait and you might regret the right time to sell your bitcoin if you sell it immediately today. Don't make panic selling it will lead you to lose your bitcoin. |

Depends on how he can manage his bitcoin, I am also earning bitcoin years now, and as of now, I still don't have a good saving, why? because I am using it for our daily needs, sometimes giving it to our family for some share to help, some others go to travel and some other of my income are investment for a motorcycle for my partner, we share to buy a motorcycle so he will not be going to have a hard time communicating every day. I think it still has a big help for us because we still buy what we need to, and for our daily needs. |

Why not invest with both? Bitcoin and Education are the best investment we can have. It is already the worst scenario if that happens, but as of now, I consider the worst scenario last Dec 2017 when bitcoin price hit the ATH's and then drops too hard. |

No one will ever know how long bitcoin will stay, and for how many years more but I think it also depends on users and it is us who will make bitcoin grow in the future and will bitcoin stay for long. Bitcoin is not owned by the governments, that's why they think it is a threat to them.
