661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 11, 2019, 09:26:42 PM
Why do you say so? I mean is there a credible reference where you saw that bitcoin is really losing its popularity? I mean, bitcoin is still the most dominant coin of all cryptocurrencies. It is just that when the price goes up, people I'm social media are making noise about it. The underlying statement is that bitcoin is still the most dominant and most popular coin.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: October 11, 2019, 06:20:16 PM
I think it would be still the most dominant cryptocurrency available but for that ten years, it has been adopted my many people. The value of it would be likely to multiply. I don't know, before it was just "for geeks",but I think after then years, it will be used by many nationalities and will be adopted by them. It might be normal to that day the usage of bitcoin in their everyday life.
663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The used of Bitcoin in Africa on: October 11, 2019, 03:30:36 PM
Wow! Didn't know about this! I mean it is strange for this continent to have this kind of action but a good thing to know that they did. This will really help them considering their countries didn't have a good condition and having an investment to bitcoin will surely contribute in helping them developed! Happy to see these countries embrace cryptocurrencies! Good luck to them!
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done to promote the Blockchain technology & cryptocurrencies? on: October 11, 2019, 05:49:15 AM
Me personally, I didn't really push my circle of friends into blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. I might have mentioned it to them sometime, tell them that I have been using one, but I didn't yet push or really taught someone what to do. I have taught someone about campaigns but I don't think I promote blockchain there, I have just taught him how to earn money. It is different because he didn't love the technology behind it, only the money he is getting.
665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: October 11, 2019, 03:15:28 AM
I think the reason why any altcoin haven't replaced bitcoin is that people tend to cling or go with the most trusted coin. Even me, I will go with the old yet most reliable and trusted coin. Also, many things or companies and the likes have adopted bitcoin more compare to the other coins, that's why it is better to stick with bitcoin than to the other coins.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin more worth than other cryptocurrencies that have better specs? on: October 11, 2019, 02:33:56 AM
The reason why people are using bitcoin more than the other available cryptocurrencies is that it is the older crypto and it has its reputation. It has been the most reliable and trusted crypto and it have been used for long. People tend to use what have been reliable to them, and they will definitely choose it rather than to take risk to the new coins available.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware!! Bitcoin can be the future but a lot of work is to be done on: October 11, 2019, 01:51:00 AM
Yes, the potential of bitcoin to be the currency of the future, but it is still on it's developmental stage. There are many things to be done, and a lot of areas for improvement. Like other technologies which aren't that good at first, bitcoin also have areas which were needs to be enhance, but let us be patient.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin related cartoon on: October 11, 2019, 01:23:54 AM
Go! We would love to see it. Who knows? Maybe that cartoon will be a hit and will help us promote bitcoin. Even though it wouldn't have that animation and sound effects like what mainstream cartoons have, don't stop doing it. Brace yourself to those will Bash it, but don't stop doing it of you are enjoying what you do.
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The uses for Cryptocurrency in places where fiat currency cannot be used on: October 11, 2019, 12:35:48 AM
I agree on the part that there are these struggling developing countries that cannot stay put to the developed countries, and the gap is veri big, but I don't ever heard some of them specially Zimbabwe adopting to bitcoin because their government can provide them what they need. Can you cite some sources on that claim? I mean, the fact that they are struggling countries made me question even more your claim.
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Fiat currencies still exist or be replaced by Crypto Currencies? on: October 10, 2019, 07:46:28 PM
I think they can both coexist. It is because of the reasons that you have mentioned. There were still developing countries who can't afford yet to lose fiat money. Also, even in developed countries, it is still hard to live without these fiat. With it coexisting with bitcoin, we are lucky to live this era with it. We all hope though that we must not be too dependent on one of the two.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 10, 2019, 06:12:28 PM
That's the problem with those people that were get attracted by bitcoin in the bull run.  They got curious in bitcoin just because they taught it is just a rich scheme were you can be a millionaire in a night which is not true because patience is a virtue here. But I think that it is just normal to check the price of bitcoin because it is your job to monitor it so that you can do the necessary actions. The only problem is when you are always worried about it that overthinking come to you.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So what will happen to Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2019, 09:57:41 AM
I dont think that this supremacy will break bitcoin's security. If there will be a time that these quantum computers will bypass the bitcoin's blockchain factorization algorithm, I think the moderators of bitcoin will also make a way for it not to happen. They wouldnt just sit in their computer waiting for that horrific day to come right? Bitcoin hopefully will be the currency of the future.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: October 10, 2019, 09:17:59 AM
Hmm, the only thing that I know about bitcoin before I become a bitcoiner is that it is just some sideline jobs in the internet where I can earn money. I even misinterpreted it on a networking scheme. That's the only thing that I know before. Luckily, my classmates in senior high school introduce me here and teach me everything that I need to know, so I am thankful to them, really.
674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unicef now accepting donations through bitcoin and ether on: October 10, 2019, 05:14:02 AM
Wow! A great news! We all know what UNICEF is and what UNICEF do to the world. They fight for children's rights and help them in their physiological needs and accepting donations through bitcoin and etherium will definitely help them. It is time for us, bitcoin enthusiasts and users to help UNICEF to make the world a better place for children, every crypto counts, even it is a small donation or a big one.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: October 10, 2019, 03:19:25 AM
Yes, cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency. The payment system is very fast, it is only on the tip of your fingers. Another reason is that you can send it without some monitoring it, a sense of security. The only problem that I can see here is first, the adoption of the poor countries. The other problem is being volatile of bitcoin, it is hard for now to have that kind of money that in anytime, it fluctuates in different rates.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto Insurance be a next big thing? on: October 10, 2019, 02:50:01 AM
I don't know, I cannot imagine how would that look like. Is it will just like a bank but online and the involved money is in crypto? Also, there would be many problems in terms of legality since majority of countries still didn't recognized bitcoin and some even are against it. Companies will be also a deciding factor here since some like banks will try to stop it because they see it as a competitor. I don't know.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Most Redundant Topic In This Forum on: October 10, 2019, 02:10:08 AM
I agree, that is the most redundant topic here in this forum, the bitcoin's price, but what can you expect? We are here in bitcointalk, it is obvious we will talk about bitcoin especially its value because that is what we are up to. There is even a thread here (speculations)  just for it. If you are sick of it, then report it.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: October 10, 2019, 01:05:07 AM
Hmm is this even a question? I mean you had already answered it on your statement. Well, yes, cryptocurrencies are now used by people in their transactions. Companies you have mentioned have adopt so that they can cater bitcoin and other crypto users. Crypto users now also are growing, which means more adoption will happen in the near future.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin market dominance rising fast? on: October 09, 2019, 08:26:12 AM
I think the reason why bitcoin market dominance is rising fast is because it is really the most popular cryptocurrency. When I first heard about bitcoin, I taught it is the only digital currency available, that is why it is the first that I have tried and because of continuous using, it became my mostly used. I think what happen to me is the same with the other new investors at first. Also, knowing the pros of using it and knowing it is the mostly used, then it is the one that will be chose. Even I will choose the most popular right? But don't get me wrong, it doesn't mean that it is the most popular also means that it is just popular. We all know what bitcoin can bring to the table.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: October 09, 2019, 08:00:08 AM
I think there were many documentaries about bitcoin, but if you are thinking about an independent movies, one will definitely help bitcoin. The problem with this is the production. First is who will fund the movie? Another thing is who will be the actors? Some must be recognized internationally so that it would attract curiosities because if not, it will be watched only by few. Another thing is the group that will advertise it to people. There are many problems not just these like the side theme,so it is really hard for this to happen.
