6601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give Your Feedback About Bitcoin Today ? on: April 27, 2022, 01:12:18 PM
Don't get it wrong Bitcoin price is not low at the moment and the 40k price is not a joke, Bitcoin is one of the most sorts after assets 9f the moment no two ways about that but if you want to get the general opinion/feedback on bitcoin then you will have to ask what is the level of Bitcoin adoption and what the general experience for Bitcoin daily users are such as traders and developers who use Bitcoin to pay for transactions.
6602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin And Human Capital Development. on: April 26, 2022, 06:30:49 PM
I was thinking about out a similar subject matter and this made me. me. wonder how Bitcoin has revolutionized the human race, especially in financial dealing and economic freedom so I made a similar thread but not on the same subject but the rule of bitcoin in human freedom. And how Bitcoin has improved citizens financial freedom thereby giving them economic freedom against government tyranny.
Check:
When you talk about the freedom you should always point to the view of many scholars who have defined the subject (freedom) it's a compound world at the same time a simple word, which simply means the right to do what you want to and when you want. And one of the ways the government has held its citizen bound is in the financial freedom which is the most important type of freedom because it translates into economic freedom.
Bitcoin on the other hand offers its, users, the total freedom they deserve both in financial freedom and also in the knowledge of how transactions are handled and verify this gives Bitcoin users the total freedom. spend their money whatever way and in whichever amount. Bitcoin activities on the other hand are more profitable compared to other physical traditional activities which have made it users totally free.

6604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: April 26, 2022, 09:40:39 AM
That is the disadvantage of the ethereum blockchain scammers can easily interact with users using the smart contract, one hardly sees this on the Bitcoin blockchain. You can't create another wallet address and try as much as possible to keep it private if you are a bounty hunter your ethereum address can easily be gotten from a bounty spreadsheet when scammers get access to your information they will use it to spam your wallet with malicious tokens all in attempt to scam you.
6605  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: April 26, 2022, 09:19:23 AM
If you have studied the Bitcoin market chart recently you will see that Bitcoin has been showing a lot of market sentiment lately and this movement has shown a lot of inconsistency in the price of bitcoin time Bitcoin presents a bear market sentiment and another a bullish momentum. We all saw how Bitcoin made a $2k gain selling at $42k or above that was a bull attempt but it did not stay long before the price pulled back to $39k and gradually climbed to $40k at the moment.

6607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There too much information about btc on: April 25, 2022, 05:56:03 PM
Point of view is very different from facts.  I think there is adequate information regarding BTC.  The blockchain itself, the Bitcoin GitHub repository is open to the public.  The future plans and development is always announced beforehand and the concensus is always published in public.  The only vague here is the government and other institutions approach towards BTC adoption since both of these have an agenda of their own.
You are quite right there is a hand full of information on Bitcoin from the genesis block to the early and advanced development, as you also rightly pointed out the major problem is wilt the government and institutional approach to Bitcoin also we should not forget to mention the rigidity of the Bitcoin blockchain that requires a lot of hard work to be developed on. The lack of information means the inability of developers to build on the already existing Bitcoin network that could aid scalability and wider Bitcoin adoption.
6608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is taking another direction on: April 23, 2022, 11:30:20 PM
To be honest with you I hardly look at the bounty section of the forum as I view that section as spam first arena with thousands of users just posting social media links on bounty threads, I have not been involved in any successful bounty before, and at that, I believe bounty is not worth the time wasted as most of those projects end up as scam or never pay for the services of bounty hunters since there is no law binding them both BM and project team can decide to do whatever they feel with bounty rewards.
6609  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: April 23, 2022, 10:42:38 PM

If I remember correctly, in Norway (or Finland) any citizen can go to the website of the tax office and study the tax return of any other citizen (but not anonymously - you will find out who looked at your declaration). Such information is evaluated differently everywhere - somewhere as private, and somewhere as socially significant, that is, it is made public.
The very details of the cooperation between the casino and Drake do not really matter, but human curiosity is pushing to find out.

Seriously? That is something already private and I think it's already violating our privacy. Even an employee of tax agencies can't easily access any information without permission. I'm not aware that it's possible in Norway or Finland etc.

Regardless, I don't understand what's the big deal on that part related to Drake's partnership with Stake.

I know it doesn't really matter to know what's behind the cooperation between Drake and Stake but I don't see why should be curious about that.

Sadly there can be those times like that especially when people got so curious about your personal information or even your tax declaration, actually I'm seeing that they are just envy that's why they would take such steps to answer their curiosity when infact they already knew that it is illegal to invade someone's privacy especially for sensitive information like that.
Your personal information/data are mostly visited when you become a public figure or you contesting an election your opponents may try to look for data to use against you as a political attack and if you are found wanting in your tax returns that information can be used to disqualify you from an election that is what is happening in my region so the government makes it compulsory for public office holders and political leaders to declare their asset. and make their task information public and published on the revenue office website, but this does not apply to all the citizens but only to government officeholders.
6610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Using a Stop loss "Good" or "Bad" on: April 23, 2022, 09:50:48 PM
If you are using a trading Stop loss and Taking profit is one of the most basic things in the fundamentals of trading some people do not commit stop loss because they are willingly taking some risk to get more profit but of course the higher the loss too, But for me having this you make your self more responsible to every trade you want to do still its personal preferences and risk management. The purpose of the technical indicator is a guide you to put a SL and TP
You are correct but you seem to be missing something or is it me that is not getting you right, the aim of the stop lose feature is not to make profits but to avoid a total loss of the asset. In a way to me stop loss is best active when the trader wants to go away from the market and to help execute the trade on behalf of the trader,  risk management is a vital part of trading and the SL is most appropriate for this since it helps execute a trade when the market is heading in opposite directions.
6611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Blockchain Development, A plus or minus To The Cryptocurrency Space on: April 23, 2022, 07:00:57 PM
If there was no Ethereum blockchain, it would be worth inventing Smiley The creators of Ethereum simply figured out before anyone else that there was room in the crypto industry to implement a platform for smart contracts. If it wasn't for Ethereum, someone else would have certainly done it and we would be talking about another coin in the way we talk about Ethereum in your post right now.

Exactly! I think some people make wrong assumptions that smart contracts started with Vitalik and the rest of Ethereum founders. I can't blame them since Nick Szabo isn't as popular or as influential to the new breed of altcoiners.
Well, am well aware of the necessity of an alternative blockchain to Bitcoin since the Bitcoin blockchain I a highly privacy-oriented blockchain that can not be easily developed which is why there was a need for the ethereum blockchain to aid the stability of the cryptocurrency industry. But this development has brought with it quite a good number of vulnerabilities in the industry which has triggered discussion in some crypto communities.
6612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There too much information about btc on: April 23, 2022, 03:33:27 PM
There is too much information about BTC.
Sometimes I have a different view about this statement I feel Bitcoin lack adequate information and the need for more research work to be done in other to put out rich information that can aid Bitcoin scalability, no matter the media propaganda against Bitcoin from the bankers and the anti Bitcoin crusader have put out it can't stop Bitcoin community from getting involved in data-oriented research.
6613  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most rewarding referral system on: April 23, 2022, 09:01:28 AM
As long as I know there are 2 types of referral system in casino. The first one is based on our referral wagering activity and the 2nd one is based on the net profit of the casino. The first one is the most used referral system and most casinos uses this system such as duelbits, stake, primedice, roobet, rollbit, etc. The 2nd one is rarely used by crypto casinos but there are still some sites such as Fortunejack and BK8. If you believe that there will be many people registering with your referral link, simply take all the available casinos. The more referral program you participate in, the more chance for you to get some commission.
Great list you put up here @Bitinity referral system differs from platform to platform as you rightly mentioned we have two systems but the point that caught my attention is the part that you mention sharing site profits as part of referral system I was thinking backroll investment is not an affiliate program but investment proceeds. Anyway, I may be wrong on this but I will make further research to gain more knowledge on that particular aspect. Referral rewards are mostly based on the downline activities on the site which is what guarantees the reward earnings.
6614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: April 23, 2022, 06:59:13 AM
Arsenal have a tough opponent again, but they are playing at home today, maybe that factor can help them win Man U... Last time they were able to beat Chelsea away without any serious effort... Tonight they need to take 3 points to increase their lead, otherwise, Man U could overtake them in the standings!
Arsenal has been in their best possible form in the last couple of games back and their match with Manchester United will be a big factor to determine how prepared and form the club has become in the premier league round, even though the game may be a tough one since their playing against another strong club like Manchester United. But if I most make a bet on this match I will predict a 90 minutes draw and the possible home advantage.
6615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: April 23, 2022, 06:44:01 AM
So I have to use MATIC for gas fees and staking fees on the network last two weeks ago and when I so the chart and price movement I saw a lot of potential and how the coin make attempts that make it clear what the network stands to gain in the next couple of years to come,  magic is still selling at low price at the moment and this should be the best time to fill some bags before we see the real utility potential of polygon Matic. The network is fast but fees, I did not take close attention to that.
6616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Despite CBN’s clampdown, Nigerians traded N316.9bn bitcoin in 2021 on: April 22, 2022, 09:24:28 PM
I think it is high time government should stop enforcing the use and implementation of CBDC on the citizens, many countries that have successfully launched their cbdc have nothing to show forth in terms of the progress because it does not meet the major demand of what's expected by the people and the government tries to replace the effect of bitcoin with CBDC. I came across an article that shows how the citizens of Nigeria lost interest in their E-Naira digital CBDC which was launched by their government last year and this article am about to give a link to will explain the whole situation more: https://nairametrics.com/2022/04/05/nigerians-interest-in-enaira-declines-in-favour-of-bitcoin-and-other-cryptocurrencies/?amp=1
Well according to what is saw on the news recently and the statistics on the news show that e-naira have witnessed a wide range of adoption and is rated as the most adopted central bank digital currency globally and these statistics were arrived at using the number of wallet download over the period it was launched if that is through them to some certain extent the central bank of Nigeria may be having a good time with their e-naira project but my question is what is the user base of the naira and what the feedback of the citizens is and how their reaction toward this new currency.
6617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if she receives Bitcoin as gift on: April 22, 2022, 02:50:05 PM

Why I choose Bitcoin over other gifts

- Bitcoin can appreciate more in value with time.
- It is secure and private.
- It is fast and easy to transact.
- Can be a great asset that can change her financial status.
Your reasons for choosing Bitcoin are genuine and fact unless for the eventualities that may arise from the reception of this gift, e.g what if Bitcoin went the opposite direction that is falling in price as soon as you gift them the Bitcoin, a volatile asset such as Bitcoin to me is not a suitable birthday gift as you need to gift them something more stable and that have a physical representation. Again talking about changing the financial life through the gift may not be likely possible and depends on how much Bitcoin you gift them.
Another thing that will make your gift more meaningful is the fact that you are ready to educate them about Bitcoin before gifting them but know that this process may not make your gift to be as surprising as you said as they will already have the prior information about the gift. This is the point am trying to make, you can gift the Bitcoin anytime you want but not on a special occasion like a birthday.
6618  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 22, 2022, 12:19:11 PM
Obsanjo is once converted to Christianity then went to pastoring school and graduated, later became a Muslim. Nigerian politicians change beliefs like chameleon.
With all due respect, if you mean Obasanjo former president of Nigeria he has never been a Muslim or practiced any other religion except Christianity, Obasanjo was a strong Christian and was raised by a missionary and even the record of him going to theology school is just a recent event after he left office as Nigeria Democratic president.
6619  Economy / Gambling / Re: new bitcoin casino system on: April 22, 2022, 06:18:03 AM
Hello my boss want to open a bitcoin casino.

Can you help us with this? what is needed
I guess you just want to ask this question for fun and beside majority of members of this forum don't own or operate a casino so if you are serious about getting information on what is needed to operate a casino you should seek professional advice and get the developers of such site get an expert advice on that and not relying on a random suggestion from the public which can be misleading in most cases.
6620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A simple proposal for an environmental-friendly regulation for Bitcoin mining on: April 22, 2022, 06:10:38 AM
The topic of Bitcoin mining energy consumption is becoming a boring topic to me, this is because the EU who is in the frontline on the proof of the work ban Crusades has failed to properly investigate the actual energy consumption and the negative impact of POW Model of mining on the environment and another point that makes this so-called pow ban crusade look childish to me in the inclusion of a ban on the trading of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that use the proof of work method, this leads me to ask this novice question, does Bitcoin trading consume electricity and what is the direct connection between trading and high energy consumption or negative environmental impact?
This and many more are questions that need urgent answers from the EU authorities, in most countries like the US energy generation and distribution is the sole responsibility of the government and the consumer of those energy pay bills on the amount of energy consumed which generate huge revenue for the government and in this way the government sees energy consumption as a way of income generation for the government so mining farms contribute largely to the revenue generated from energy sales since Bitcoin mining consume high energy. This whole energy consumption and environmental factors raised by the EU as it relates to proof of work (pos) mechanisms to me look like corrupt policy aimed at weakening the overall dominance of the Bitcoin algorithm and giving support to a less trusted and centrally aimed proof of stake algorithm. This move trick is a sponsored politically motivated policy to me other than environmental issues because there is no correlation between the two main subject matters which are a ban on (pow mining and trading of currency that uses POW)
