Guys what will happen if the price doesn't increase a lot after the Halving and the mining farms in Asia won't be as much profitable any more as the block rewards will be cut in half? Does this mean Bitcoin mining will be close to dead if the price doesn't help to balance the costs between the rising difficulty and the falling Bitcoin rewards? The electricity is very cheap in China but they can't keep up if they are making a negative profit right?
For long time ago mining is not more profitable and now its useless to do mining and invest with it you will pay high in electricity than to earn in mining i think it have big effect also when halving comes the bigger the price the less supply is the harder to mine. But i can say halving is profitable base on those past halving chart it has big effect of price increase in bitcoin. If it get price rise it will be profitable to hoarders. The most people are hoping that the halving will be more profitable but we cant control it and that is the problem, so we have to wait maybe a longer time until the value will be more. It will be nice if you can have some nice profit of course after the halving but the value keeps stable. Definitely halving will be more profitable. If not the price won't fall back but remains stable. But I don't expect that, sure price rise will be above $800. |

Even tho I am using Bitcoin for quiet a while know I never actually dreamed about Bitcoin. But now that I know this I will probably will dream about getting much money with Bitcoin.
Yes actually, I've been dreaming to get a great deal of money in bitcoin and can get a lot of advantages. Bitcoin is self-sustainable and a good stable system.
Bitcoin will still doing good without it. Altcoins are exist is because Bitcoin existance.
Altcoins can not take bitcoin's place so they can live next to bitcoin. Without altcoins the market cap of bitcoin could be higher or we would have a lot less investors. Yeah bitcoin never suffer without altcoin, but altcoin is assumed to be the sub of bitcoin so it suffers a lot. I think the price of altcoin has no impact on bitcoin. |

Your question sounds to me as "why would people want to become rich?" Bitcoin is a blessing of the technology which can make you rich in future, if you devote time to earn it. I myself is saving for my retire so that I can add some extra spices to my retired life. Also I have a plan to buy a superbike in next 2 years using bitcoin savings. how long we need to become a rich? so many people said to hold your bitcoin if you want to be rich in the future. imo to become a rich it isn't an easy. Fine, it is not so easy to become rich at once, even if you are holding bitcoin. It takes years to become rich, with your coins you have to invest more, then while you choose trade you should not lose your coins, you have to hold higher ranks to earn good amounts from campaigns and so on. If all these goes well you can become rich in few years. |

Honestly those who said crap to Paypal are really not using Paypal that's why they don't know how it works.
I see no reason to not choose both of them.
I must say that they are both pretty good but I prefer bitcoin above paypal because I sometimes get limited by paypal and I really hate it. I do not wrong but they are thinking I'm laundering money or something... Yeah both have its own advantages, some may prefer PayPal as they have used it and feel secure about it, and the others use bitcoin. Comparing with PayPal I definitely prefer bitcoin as it has no transaction fee, anonymity and more similar features. |

Bitcoin is currently the top-notch crypto coin and I don't think there will be another candidate to dethrone it for the foreseeable future. The good thing about open-source projects is that they can quickly adapt to changes and evolve into a better product with time passing. However I do not believe in fanboyism in any form so if Bitcoin development is stalling and new better things come up on the horizon I won't be sacrificing possible profit by staying with the old technology out of nostalgia.
Yep, pretty much my same thoughts. I've played with Paycoins the moment it got released in the market. It was very promising yes, but it didn't really take long before the market took it down. Guess what i'm also trying to say in addition to this is that there's more to this cryptocurrencies than just the technology it offers. A big factor now would be is how it's being used and patronize by the market now. Bitcoin for as long as cryptocurrencies exists, will always be here. Fair, my thought too the same. As long as cryptocurrencies are there bitcoin stay the first. I think if any new technology arrives, bitcoin will adopt it too. Anything can come, new technology or good features, i won't leave bitcoin for any reasons. |

That's true. 10 bitcoins are a big amount, and the price of bitcoin is recently not a lot but it is predicted to go high in coming months. So it will be a wise move to just hold most of those coins and wait until the price goes higher, and just spend some of them if you need some money in recent time. No I won't spend any of the coins till halving if I am on needy too. I will hold all the 10btc and when price goes high I will sell them and earn a very good profit. |

Sometimes you are just forced to use paypal.
If you cant use btc I would rather use paypal then a debit card directly to a merchant.
if i am forced to pay for certain things only with paypal, then i simply skip that site. i don't have paypal and i will never create another paypal account. so far i have never seen a site that only uses paypal as payment option. this is not fair, if this is the case, there is no site that only accept bitcoin as payment. paypal is world known, most of the people use paypal for online shopping. may be if they know about bitcoin they will sure jump to bitcoin. |

You can earn for a living with bitcoin if you live in a 3rd world country.
That is probably true as I don't have experience with the lifestyle in the countries you have mentioned but Bitcoin is not stable, Bitcoin is not guaranteed to maintain the current prices forever and if you stop for a moment and compare the benefits of a normal job and that of doing small tasks for Bitcoins online which is not easy either to be honest, you could see that Bitcoin is full-time job only for unemployed people or people with sucky jobs looking to get better payment elsewhere. yeah to be frank, earning a living with bitcoin is not a healthier one, just we can have it as an extra savings because as you told if the price stops a moment we will be lot worried. |

Bitcoin wallet is easy to get and remain anonymous, for WU lots of registration process needed I think you don't know westren Union proparly. westren union don't need any registration and anything. you can receive your mony just by giving your name, your address and national ID card number or Photo copy. only one thing wich make bitcoin better then westren union is low transaction. you can send 0.1$ with bitcoin but with westren union you need at least 200$ to send. And the fee for Western Union is so big, and if you using bitcoin, the fee is so small. It's more worth for transaction big amount. Because if you transfer $1k on western union, the fee around $20. Well, that's true, in some countries, earning a living with online job is possible, power, internet bill, cost of living are pretty much low compared to those countries in Europe..I too, bitcoin is beneficial to me, it's an extra savings.. yeah bitcoin worth a lot and it is an extra savings for me, in my country power and internet bill costs are not too low but can be manageable. i think it will be worth to everyone eventhough these are high, as everyone can earn a good profit from bitcoin. |

I'm buying bitcoins this year on all kind of prices.
1.The most important rule is to do this when the price is low of course.
2. Another nice rule is only buy when you have to money for it, so if it goes wrong you are not going to have a lot of problems.
3. The last rule is check if the future of the bitcoin is good, look in the speculation section and talk about the future and see what people are saying.

By following the price trend, let's say after the $500 saga last year, even at the price $470 it was considered as low price.  2) Much better buy when you afford to buy at the current rate. 3) Checking the future? LOL on this. I think you don't do trades most of the time. How come you can check the future of bitcoin is good. No one can judge the future of bitcoin, we don't know if price would be higher or lower but if you can afford to buy with current price then you should buy some coins. Yeah everything goes upon prediction in bitcoin, when price goes high or when it lowers we can't suggest. So if we want to buy just compare the current situation with couple of previous weeks, if price gets lowered just continue your buying process. |

i think how the price changes is more important than how much is the price.
for example if the price is low but stable is much better than if the price of bitcoin is high but changes a lot each day.
In my opinion both are same, because each and every user is different, some used to buy coins at an affordable rate others wait for the low value. Mostly it depends upon how they treat money in terms of their usage. |

It can be good if that will be the bottom, but everyone hopes that it wont reach the bottom and that it will rise only in the future so they can have some profit with Bitcoin.
The value is now stable around this time, and as you can see now you see that the halving is also coming but the most are even thinking that it will not rise after the halving.
No mate sure the price will rise after halving, the price has started increasing from the stable value which is all because of halving and we hope this increase in bitcoin value continues. |
