6601  Economy / Economics / Re: Does it helpful when blockchain integrated to government system? on: June 11, 2019, 03:41:43 PM
Here is one used case, the government of Canada has launched a public blockchain on top of Ethereum. It's for the administration of government contracts and everyone can see it on their website. So there is transparency here because obviously you can see where the money goes and to what project and how much money is being raised.

6602  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bulls Facing Uphill Task on: June 11, 2019, 03:25:26 PM
It's because we are currently in a pattern wherein there's no clear path as to where the price should go. As compare to the last couple of months where all TA points to a bull run, which eventually did happen. So now, maybe the bullish trend has stop a bit and we're forming some bearish waving market, with pullbacks along the way. So yes, there is a weaknesses in the market, so just be prepared for some bearish signs just let how to play the market, just saying.
6603  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-11]Philippines’ Central Bank Will Continue to Closely Monitor Crypto, C on: June 11, 2019, 02:57:44 PM
LOL, isn't it too late for the Philippines to get this news though? I mean they have involved themselves in crypto for the longest time and why is it just now that the whole issue of terrorism/drugs comes into place? Coins.ph is very strict as far as their KYC/AML compliant already so I was surprised that BSP just release this statement in 2019. Although I can only surmise that drugs what one of the biggest problem of the Philippines right now, eventhough the government has step up it's "Oplan Tokhang", everyday lots of drug addicts are being busted, indicative that it's really hard to stop it. But kudos to the government though, at least they are very supportive of crypto and I do hope that they will continue to do so as oppose to their neighboring country India who make a U-turn.
6604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Retail Giant Target Is Quietly Working on a Blockchain for Supply Chains on: June 11, 2019, 02:46:51 PM
Great news for blockchain adoption, supply chain is waiting to be innovated. I would love to see their solution with private blockchain in deeper detail  Wink

How can you see it in detail when it is going to be private?  Grin. I think the point here is that companies with lots of data processing should move on blockchain. We all know that data in blockchain can't be altered, so that's one advantage. Although there is still a cost migrating their legacy systems to blockchain but I think it will out weight everything in the long run. I also think that business decisions can be quicker when all the data is presented at you right away.
6605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Libra (or Globalcoin) on: June 11, 2019, 01:35:32 PM
As far as I know, Facebook coin or whatever name is will not be releasing it this year. You can't really move that quick and have the coin ready after just announcing it in the last couple of months maybe at the background they are working with CFTC or even SEC to iron out everything. Most likely this coin will be available in 2020 timeframe. So I don't think that anyone here in the community can answer your questions unless they have some inside information about this coins though. So, you need to wait a bit longer and I'm sure they will announce it publicly if they are going to offer it to crypto enthusiast or if it will be for their internal used only.
6606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After ICO, the tokens sank in price. Why? on: June 11, 2019, 01:28:33 PM
That's how the market works, I mean yes they have raised tens of millions for ICO but at the back of our minds we all know that investors will simply dump it to get their profits. And with the number of ICO's/IEO's popping around, is so easy for investors to pull the pump-and-dump and then go on the next coins. I don't know what are the statistics, but I'm pretty sure that even a successful ICO can't withstand the dumping specially when it is listed on an exchange. Unless though they can really offer something different that can disrupt fields in medicine or pharmaceutical, it will be very difficult to maintain their ICO price.

Nadal has once again showed that he is the best player ever on clay by beating Thiem in four sets. At times Thiem looked to be in the match and maybe even push Nadal to five sets after winning the second set but it wasn't to be as Nadal won the third and fourth set easy without much of a fight from Thiem. I was close once again to winning my French Open bet on Thiem but Nadal is just too good on clay when it comes to this Grand Slam. Congrats to Nadal on winning he's 12th French Open title. I also read a report that Nadal won't play any lead up tournaments before Wimbledon as he wants to rest up which could be a wise decision.

~ snip ~

Yeah I thought the same with Thiem but it wasn't to be, beating Djokovic gave him confidence however its when he makes major finals he seems to lose. That is something he has to work on in the coming months, I won't be betting on him to win Wimbledon as he isn't as good on grass courts. How is Stefanos Tsitsipas on grass courts? as he is someone I'm considering betting on to win Wimbledon.

Ok here a thing with Stefanos, I think he mostly concentrated of clay court tournaments, but his game is more suited for grass. So for me he needed to shift this game and focus more on grass court tournaments as I believed he can win and can dominate it in the next two years. I haven't check the odds but definitely will put some bets on him. Love to see him against Federer again.
6608  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KIN KIK SEC - what could be the outcome? on: June 11, 2019, 01:03:29 PM
SEC's regulations are very clear. If a company or a entity offers securities to American citizens, even that company is outside of the soil, it still falls under the jurisdiction of SEC. That's why they are very quick to pull the trigger here sue Kik. And what is Kik's defense? then say that they sell tokens and not securities, and that is a weak defense, in my opinion. So this litigation is a landmark, and it could set a precedent and let this be a warning to all companies as well.
6609  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Dev - Blog] Creating a new, fun gambling game for Bitcoin on: June 11, 2019, 12:20:29 PM
I have already developed gambling website previously. I can help you with development. Add me on telegram @KnightThunder for the further discussion.
Man this dude is Pajeet who can't develop shit. He will waste your time as he can't code for shit. I've hired a number of developers for different projects over a few years on this forum and whenever I make a service requirement thread, I mention this: Pajeets like icosonar/csankur are not allowed to post. They are worthless cheap scum from India. Time wasters.

I was about to say this, and stay away from this members in this community. So it good to hear that you find someone near your place that will help you out with the development of your project. I'm also a gambler myself so it also excites me to hear someone joining and giving us a breath of fresh air. Last game I was excited was the rocket.run crash game, but it simply died down on me. So I'm looking for a new one and I hope you can deliver it. Goodluck.
6610  Economy / Economics / Re: INDIA: Draft Law Proposes 10-year Jail Term for Dealing in Cryptocurrency on: June 11, 2019, 12:13:12 PM
Is it just me? The news about this seems have a less impact or doesn't have at all. Maybe because it's India, a 3rd world country. I don't feel the impact and there's no major talk like, others are panicking or something like that and it seems they aren't worrying. Well, I won't be surprised though.

Probably because India doesn't have the much influence of crypto as compare to let's say China, wherein the mining are concentrated. The impact is so slim that we didn't feel it at all. Yes the price goes to $7600-$7500, but then again it surges back to $7800-$7900, indicative that it didn't deter this bullrun that we have right now. At least though, people learn not to panic at every news like this. And the only impact I'm seeing is those Indian crypto lovers that we have in this community. But I'm under the speculation that they will just shrug their shoulders hearing this one and will still continue to buy and hold Bitcoin.
6611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trader's best tool for consistent profits on: June 11, 2019, 12:07:22 PM
I used journal to record my success rate and how I'm doing with my trades. I'm only old school, I love to write everything down not just my trade but almost everything. When I do write, I tend to look at how I did right or wrong during a particular trade, so that I can avoid those mistakes in the future. Of course TA will always be there to analyses graph, however, as I have said, sometimes its better if you have something in your hand to look at that could spell success or failures in the failure.
6612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which way will it go? Which trend will it follow? on: June 10, 2019, 02:21:49 PM
I don’t think that upper bound matters. If we break it upwards, I think we’re probably still stuck in a larger running triangle or other corrective pattern. I would aim for $8,400-$8,600 and then re-assess.

If we break the lower bound, then the most probable target is the mid-$6,000s.

This is also what I'm seeing right now. There is no break out run, so it can go in either direction. Of course, I'm leaning towards $8000 but there's also that possible that we might hit some lower bounds in the next coming weeks, so let's just prepare ourselves for the worst. But I'm still going long here, just to be on the safe side, I'm not willing to short as I'm expecting a good upside later in the months, July-Aug would be a good month, the way I see it. So let's be positive that a new trend will happen and it's going to be on the $8000'ish levels.
6613  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Coin on: June 10, 2019, 01:51:48 PM
Your question about who's going to produce is somewhat very confusing. Bitcoin is decentralised, meaning there is no authority whatsoever, so I doubt it will be successful. If in it's first year of existence and Bitcoin didn't survived, I think it will be replace by other crypto until we find someone that will take this cryptocurrency to the next level. Good thing that Bitcoin survived because it has became the torch bearer to say the least. And moving forward though, there's a lot of debate surrounding the whole single currency scenario, personally maybe in the next 50 years or so we will have a single denomination, but I don't think it will be Bitcoin though.

Yup, it's a repeat for both of them. I thought that Thiem will really push Nadal because he has gained a lot of experienced specially betting Djokovic in the semis. But I guess Nadal is really above the competition as far as clay court is concern. That's good though if he is going to have a full rest leading to Wimbledon. I mean those guys are really 'old', needed their body to heal before heading in a big tournament such as Wimbledon. But it's going to be different, Djokovic, Federer is good as this surface so let's see how Nadal will prepare himself.

Ok at least you have cleared everything up because it really doesn't make any sense for a company to really hire personalities that has a shady past like Mark Karpeles to even be a CTO of a big company in Japan. As much as we wanted to think that the Mt. Gox is all over, it's still going to haunt the crypto sphere and people rarely forget who's involved on that heist.
6616  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Run and own your personal Bitcoin full node! on: June 07, 2019, 03:48:47 PM
I guess everyone is fine with Electrum, although it has been attack as of late, but they're quick to patch things up and stay ahead of the competition. And I also don't understand the rationale behind, I mean if someone is really interested running a full node then they should run it, simply as that. And there are no secrets behind, everyone goes through the same process. But for those who doesn't want to but still wanted to have full control of their private keys, then Electrum is the best solution.
6617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: June 07, 2019, 03:41:47 PM
Odds update:

Last week, May 29, 2019 : Manny Pacquiao (2.06) and Keith Thurman (1.68)
Now, June 7, 2019 : Manny Pacquiao (2.03) and Keith Thurman (1.70)

~ snip ~
I guess you should do it now, there will no major changes in the line unless something came in, like a big news that would affect a fighter.
At that odds, you already get a good payout betting on Manny, but if you want a better odds.

You can bet in https://nitrogensports.eu/sport/boxing/boxing-matches - current odds is 2.116

I agree. That odds for Manny is really good although the fight is like 5 weeks from now, I don't see significant changes to come along. I'm sure we all know that anything above 2.xx is a good odds, and we are talking about Manny Pacquiao here.

As for the questions I raised before, I guess it has no bearing at all as others have said. It's between the two and it really boils down as to how hard you train going into this fight and not watching your opponents hitting the heavy bags. You should concentrate on what you can do in the ring and not what the other fighter can do to you.
6618  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: A Lawyer's Perspective on IEO on: June 07, 2019, 02:29:41 PM
I wouldn't say it's the solution, but at least a good option for now. But clearly, IEO could also be easily manipulated, how many times have we heard that the sales was totally completed in matter of minutes? How is that possible? Unless you are a insider and has a deep pocket to go first in the line and uses trading bots to purchase as much as you want. I think exchanges should also tackle this issues. So for now it's the lesser of two evil but we will see.
6619  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Holding unregulated crypto asset may attract punishment in India on: June 07, 2019, 02:15:26 PM
There's a lot of news circulating around the community like this one:

Quote
10 Year Jail Sentence for Bag Holders?

As per the Banning of Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, anyone involved in the Bitcoin or crypto ecosystem would face criminal punishment. The bill proposes a 10-year prison sentence for persons who “mine, generate, hold, sell, transfer, dispose, issue or deal in cryptocurrencies, directly or indirectly.”

So I really don't know if this is fake news or not, but it worries me that the bill proposal carry a penalty of a 10-year prison sentence, WTF is that? I think that is too harsh for even owning Bitcoin. The article also says that it coincidence with the "launch its own state-backed cryptocurrency – the Digital Rupee". They the Indian government heed the call of their people here, or just decided they wanted a full ban and strict penalties for those who will be caught.

You can find video here: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uViGfYZvrQg).

Just noticed that one wear's a coins.ph T-shirt. We all know that they are the number exchanges in the Philippines so I'm not surprised by the sponsorship. Next up is "Plant a tree in your local community" program. Here is also a good article about this bounty: (https://breakermag.com/thanks-to-crypto-incentives-3-tons-of-trash-were-removed-from-manila-bay/). Manila Bay has a rich history, so it's about time that the Philippine government should take into consideration, restoring this old but beautiful natural harbor.
