The Bearish trend is not quite over yet. Bitcoin is still under 10,000 and there are lot of resistances to cross 8500, 8800, 9000, 9500 and so on. It will not be easy for Bitcoin to cross all these levels and then move further up. Bull trend seems far away. |

Hi I was wondering what the general consensus was on the use of technical analysis in making long term investments. I know short term day traders get allot of use out of it but if I'm investing in a project based on fundamentals does the technical analysis matter?
Technical analysis may not work perfectly in bitcoin because price movement is more dependent on the news and not on the chart analysis. Yet I still prefer charts because one can predict the future if he knows the trends. |

One strategy that works best in times of fall in the market is to remain calm, and not allow yourself to be blown by panic. Just hold the tokens with large caps and even if possible, buy more tokens and hold. For some coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, it is always certain that whenever there is a fall, there is definitely going to be a rise.

Well if you ask me, I use stop loss in most of my trades. This really gives me an extra strength and I am perfectly sure that I will not get below certain point and my profit is booked, even if it is small. |

I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?
I don't completely understand your point of view. Day trade can only be profitable if you have skills. Without skill and experience, Day trade can be a big loss because only experienced traders can understand it. |

Welp I got mega boned on today's pump as I was still in the short. Unfortunate, but it happens. Lost about a week of earnings, time to get back to it. Shorting from 7500 here.
Shorts and long are really complicated sometimes and one must take special care while making desions at bitmex. One small error and wrong descion can cause the loss of all the money and earnings. |

Both are same theme and good exchange, but I prefer binance now because kucoin exchange requires KYC to all users while binance is not, but I hope binance will not planning to do KYC to all users.
Binance is much better and more popular than Kucoin. I have used both of them and I like Binance more better of the two. Also the interface of binance is much simpler and attractive. |

do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive that you could win in gambling? that happen to me a lot when i lose in gambling but a could never leave gambling.  Exactly i have thinking like this usually when i have loss in bet, only in that time i was think to quit the gambling and change the way for entertainment, But later on when i have money again, i do it and if i win in my bet then i say Gambling is one most fastest way to earn money and in this time, i am thinking that if i continuously win 4 to 5 bet then i will be rich, but i know we are running in gambling because of luck and all the time we have no luck. |

Bitcoin is not just a life saver but also a life changer. Before, I don't know anything about investment. I'm just a minimum wage earner and my salary is most of the time insufficient to my needs. My family is struggling financially. When Bitcoin was introduced to my life, everything changed. At first, I invested a very little portion of my salary to HYIP and gambling hoping that my life will change instantly as what those sites promised me but I was scammed multiple times. It was devastating so I decided to stop investing on Bitcoin. After a few months, I saw some posts on social media on how Bitcoin changed a person's life so I decided to give it another try but this time, I will make sure to invest in myself first and study more about cryptocurrency. I learned about this forum and from here, I learned more things about Bitcoin specially on trading and investments. Now, I cannot say that I'm completely financially free but I can say that I'm already earning more than enough for me and my family's needs.
Bitcoin gave me another hope about life. There are times when we are feeling wasted and wants to give up but before you give up, ask your self first if you already did your best. There are times that we will definiyely lose and people will ruin our dreams but that is not a reason to stop. Just like on my experience, I got scammed but after a few months, I gabe it another shot. If I gave up, I might still ne struggling financially.
Life will definitely throw you lemons. All we need to do is learn how to make it into lemonade. I'm very thankful to Bitcoin. To all investors out there, just invest on your self first and I assure you, you'll get profit from it!

I will suggest you just start trading without fear with little capital, if you use big capital in the start then you will all the time fall in fear and can't do trading with consideration. So in starting use little capital by testing and without fear, then you will know about your answer.
But i have spend 2 years in trading, i realize skill is by God gifted you have, but experience make polish your skills. But basically you need both things to do it.

I bought a bunch BTC when it was $17000, then bought a bunch when it is $14000...then the price dropped until 2 days ago. I bought a bunch again when it was 6000ish...haha, now the price went up...so, really, when is it a good time to buy? When it dropped for a while and it rose a little bit, then drop again, then buy?
If you're smart and have experience with knowledge you don't need any time to buy. A great investor can manage everything doesn't matter where he invest he will 100% get profit. There's no fix to buy bitcoin, you have to be smart enough to buy it. Like watching chart and makes your own prediction, making a plan when you sell it, Mostly smart people wait until the price fall. I myself wait when the price dump i keep my eyes on every single news about crypto currency especially bitcoins. You should worry about decreasing price first you buy bitcoin forget about it and always use long term path. You can buy now its a prefect time in my opinion you can see the price was 10k, now its 9K so you have still some time before its start moving above 10K. |

Well bitcoin is in the top of the list in crypto currency if you talk about second coins which is increasing and can surpass bitcoin price is Ethernet. In my country many people still understand Bitcoin as virtual currency. BTC does not bring anything to life. They just think Bitcoin investment is gambling, chance, black red.
Why?
Why do not they look at Bitcoin, ETH or blockchain technology for the present.

If you are holding crypto currency for a many years then why you don't know about it that what is happening with bitcoin? And Why bitcoin price is going down?
But I guess some investor feel panic in this situation, may be it is happening with you. Bitcoin has come back from a highest price of $20000 then a huge people sold their bitcoins in a highest price who hold their bitcoins for a long time and wait for a good time, then definitely bitcoin has a big fall, it is the main reason. But now again bitcoin will come in high price so just wait it.
