6601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CMC still safe at all ?? on: January 11, 2019, 01:03:13 PM
It's the most popular crypto market cap list so those concerns are being taken advantage of CMC itself for monetary purposes. Gone are days that they aren't advertising any scam. As the site grows in traffic, they are getting the favor as a normal website that profits from ads whether a scam or not.

The site itself is very manipulative and remember that moment when a glitch happened. It really affected the whole market, I think they have threshold and time requirement to unlist those dead projects.

You can address your concern directly to them: https://blog.coinmarketcap.com/contact/

Can't help you on this but I did a few research and I've found some videos that requires you to download a software but with such requirements it's a red flag, IMO.

Check this discussion on stackoverflow: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51050063/get-all-users-of-telegram-group
6603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep Hold or Sell on: January 10, 2019, 11:55:26 PM
Hi Everyone. .
I need your suggestion for Ethereum  Hardfork.
For now I'm confused about having to keep holding or selling?
Much better to wait until the fork happens and when you receive the free coins, sell it. But take Ethereum (ETH) and just hold it for a longer time if you believe that it's a good coin because IMO, I do believe that its a good coin to hold.

How do you respond to the Ethereum hardfork that will be done soon?
Do you keep hold or sell?
Hold before the fork happens and sell it later on. There's no need to be worried about it, what are you thinking by the way? are you thinking that these forks will do something to your coin and can lessen the quantity of it? Btw, Nowa and ETCV forks are likely to be a scam fork but there's one fork which is real (Constantinople) and its said that it will not be giving or creating a new coin because its main purpose is to upgrade.

I don't use mercatox but they have a feature of "coin vote listing".

https://mercatox.com/coins/list

It's a privilege if you'll be listed on Binance without any fee to pay.

Akbar wasn't so active the last time I saw his name on the leaderboard with the past event. And now, I think he really aims to claim the first place and wanted to take that spot.

Few more minutes left, good luck to all of you that secured a spot and advance congratulations to everyone.  Wink
6606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 years ago Hal Finney called first... "Running bitcoin" on: January 10, 2019, 10:30:04 PM
I admire Hal! While reading his story on Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney). He did great though he's struggling with his condition.

His contribution to the community and as a pioneer was worth it. If he's just alive right now, I wonder what he'll say when he see on how big the community is now. Thank you very much Hal.

Assuming someone keep his encrypted wallet and he didn't reuse his bitcoin address (which make his bitcoin vulnerable against quantum computer since it's public key is revealed) Grin
An interview to his children would be a good content.
6607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best staking coins on: January 10, 2019, 10:01:16 PM
Very few tokens listed and many aren't included but that's a good site that's starting out and listing all of those tokens that where you can earn passively through holding it.

Is everyone here who holds CSNO? you can have a passive income through it by receiving a dividend from the casino's profit. It's a dividend token and it's more rewarding than others but you must hold a lot of it.
6608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if? on: January 10, 2019, 01:09:53 PM
Nothing.

Bitcoin market is independent and it doesn't depending if satoshi really comes from Japan, America or any country. It depends on supply and demand so it won't really give that effect that you are thinking right now.

Are you thinking that each citizen of America will start investing to bitcoin if they find out that Satoshi Nakamoto's citizenship is US'? no. It won't do anything different.

I agree with that it doesn't matter anymore if Satoshi was an American or any citezenship. People nowadays are smart enough and have matured enough not to be influence by shallow thinking of citezenship.
Yes, citizenship of Satoshi Nakamoto won't really affect anything even with those Bitcoin ETF proposals or anything related to crypto that everyone assumes it will be a reason for its price to increase, it just can't.

If citizenship of Satoshi will be known, I guess it will be a pride for American's but it doesn't have something to do with the price anymore.

I think we would see decline in price in Satoshi came forward as an American citizen.
No, not really, we don't know but IMHO there would really no effect at all.
6609  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Do you want to participate in a new project? on: January 09, 2019, 04:41:43 AM
What's your token? if you can tell what will be the payment I think you'll get only the people that are very much interested with your project. It's obvious that you are going to run a bounty campaign in the forum.

Putting up all the details will make your post more lively and will help everyone to save time. Additional to the bounty/campaign managers this list could also be a good source: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature Anti-Spam Campaign Managers
6610  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Shitcoins Wanted on: January 09, 2019, 04:04:52 AM
I'm not a coin developer, I just want to know on how much the volume of your exchange? Your site is disabling guests to view the whole trading platform.

What currently are the coins listed there?
6611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to gain some funds in this bear market? on: January 09, 2019, 03:18:10 AM
If you are seriously set up to start earning, then give up forever the idea of earning on airdrops. This is the most senseless activity that people around you can advise you. If you seriously think that you can earn money on this, then I am very sorry for you - believe me this will never happen.
Forget about airdrops but no one is stopping you from getting your attention and putting your time with it. Who knows if some of those coins will be worth someday but as far as we know most of them are just dust amounts.

Some are $5 and $10, if you are lucky enough and you hold your airdrop token as it goes to bull run its good for you. But just go serious with trading and you can make much with it if you are very experienced and you know what coins to buy.
6612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 first quarter market prediction on: January 09, 2019, 02:20:58 AM
Testing the waters.

This first quarter of the year will test all the possibilities the market could reach. If the first one will be positive, expect that the next quarters would be positive too. There will be a domino effect but its very unpredictable to give predictions for the quarter.

We have shared sentiment about the market of becoming positive and that's what should everyone must think of. A rough year taught us on how to be patient and maybe this first quarter will give enough recovery after the 2018's correction.

of course, but in the legality it might not be there and in my opinion when talking about prices it will have an impact on prices, where this news will be a fundamental increase for bitcoin
I really don't think so. In legal aspect there will be a positive impact but it doesn't mean that there will be a big impact to the whole side of bitcoin. An example would be the tax acceptance through crypto, did we get an increase after that?

No. The aspect of knowing if satoshi is an American doesn't really will give any effect to the market. And let's be real here and there's no way to figure out if he's an American citizen.
6614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Weiss Ratings 7 forecasts 2019 on: January 08, 2019, 10:03:15 AM
I followed your tip of skipping the rest and proceeded to #7. Giving such confidence to their readers and giving a tip on what they should buy really gives them the confidence that 'hey we should buy what Weiss ratings said'.

Suddenly, dump starts to begin when the coin pumps.

Devs and holders of that coins feels like  Cool

6616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie on: January 08, 2019, 08:30:28 AM
Hello everyone I'm new on here and I'm trying to find a new way to earn crypto apart from
1) faucets
2) trading
3) mining
Is there any other way?
Buying those tokens that gives you passive income (PoS coins) is one beneficial way to earn crypto's. The higher amount of that coin you hold, the higher distribution you'll get depending on when they will distribute your profit.

Other than bounty, you can also be a normal businessman by selling goods or services and get paid with crypto. This is the next and popular way of earning cryptocurrencies. Be wise on choosing bounty, you're a newbie so basically you can't join signature bounties but if you'll purchase Copper membership you can enjoy the perks of a member rank. And can help you to be eligible of wearing signatures although you can become a jr.member by obtaining one merit.
6617  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will market price be BULLISH this 2019? on: January 08, 2019, 07:48:11 AM
I think its already turned to bullish.
That's so quick? I don't think so, if it turned to bullish we won't be staying anymore to $3,800 - $4,000 and it will turn to $5,000 and so on that fast. But what we see today it is becoming stable once again and slowly moving.

In my opinion BAKKT has good effects on market and it started for a nice recovery.
Many altcoins are green for now.
We really can't tell if Bakkt's launching will give that impact that everyone is expecting. And the colors aren't really the indicators that the market is going good if we see it for awhile into green. After it goes to green, next would be reddish.
6618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Really Meant as a Peer to Peer System on: January 08, 2019, 07:06:41 AM
Why is it that many hates the use of bitcoin as store of value / investment? it isn't ignoring the fact that we can use it as peer to peer system. Everyone is free to use it with the choice that they want to, as the original vision as p2p or as an investment.

Bitcoin means freedom and that's why we, as users has the freedom of choice whether to use it as an investment or payment. The payment usage isn't even forgotten, there's nothing wrong if everybody will use it as both.
6619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this are the reasons why some persons hates Bitcoin!? 🧐 on: January 08, 2019, 05:54:18 AM
That's what my reaction is, I'm on the middle side and I knew it that Warren Buffett does have that reaction and even called bitcoin as rat poison because he don't understand it by himself.

He may understand bitcoin as an investment but his basis depends on the old style of investing. He's a billionaire and he know things with investment but he just can't go with the new wave of investing in today's generation such as bitcoin.
6620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Shitcoins Are Welcome to List on This Exchange on: January 07, 2019, 01:26:37 PM
Your title to be honest is funny. Those coins that you are targeting looks pretty dull, they have no volume and there's no way for its dev to pay you that amount. $1,200 looks cheap for those good coins but you really are only into the money.

Also, exchange like this should be moved to Exchanges.
