Congratulations, you made a good choice. There must have been many that purchased around the $85-$90 mark and are now sitting on a small fortune.

Remember when ETH dropped to $85 in December 2018, who would have thought it would around the $280 mark right now?
I'm a survivor, held ETH during that time, and never sold until it reached $280. I'm planning to hold it a little longer, waiting for better pricing once 2.0 comes.

Did you send a message to devans on the support page?: https://www.bustabit.com/support

Hey my Bustabit username is Loophole121 , I  joined Bustabit and when i was registering i clicked the "I don’t want a way to recover my account. If I forget my password, please lock my account permanently." option because i thought that i was able to make my own password on the next page not seeing that they have already given me a preset password that i didnt copy down. This was completely my fault but i could've sworn Bustabit didn't require password to withdraw back then so i didn't think much of it.

I was wondering if i could seek some assistance from the creator of the game on this thread to manually reset my password. If requested i can request proof that it is indeed my account , i have the IP address that was used to create the account on a ss and i also can take a picture of my Bitcoin wallet that i deposited from.

I still have access to the account but i just cannot withdraw anything without the password i dont have , i currently only have 18k bits in the account but there's no point in playing if i cannot withdraw any of the bits. May i please get some assistance so i can continue playing. I've contacted support about this already but i wasn't sure if that was going to reach them. I've heard of many cases of people being able to reset your password back then but i also heard that there's a new owner to the site.

-If by any chance the owner sees this please email dotdot0099@gmail.com

6625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: July 25, 2020, 11:05:23 AM
Without doubt I agree with you and others in principle about the re-allocation of a higher percentage of block rewards away from miners - that would show miners they are not as valued in the whole process. I also think masternode operators do have a consolidation of power which might be way too unhealthy for the project in the long run but for now what is the alternative?

Is there a possibility of masternode operators such as yourself could form a coalition of the willing rather than have a simple vote system? If there are for example a large number of masternode operators all with one agenda working under one banner so to speak, then that in itself would surely be the way forward to change course. Has that been attempted yet?

Of course you are right, you and others have an equal right to voice concerns especially when you see something akin to an existing failure. If you see proposals that will exacerbate the situation then you should be more vocal, all those things I understand but the way forward to be heard is beyond the remit of this forum. You are in a better position than many because you are a masternode operator so what is stopping you approaching other masternode operators to try and form an alternative vision?

I assume you mean people who voice displeasure at Ryan's proposal to reallocate more of the block rewards away from miners? So far I never had a lack of faith in the dev team, they have been doing great work. But I do have a lack of faith in Ryan's direction.

I can only speak for myself . I try to emphasise that Dash has fantastic technology and innovations, which lead me to Dash in the first place. I'm sure if you read all my posts you will see that written in more than one place. I am heavily invested in Dash and a masternode owner. So yes a disgruntled investor if thats how you wish to define it. I am happy with all aspects of Dash except the block allocation. I think it should reward miners more not less. Because I wish Dash to become a better store of value.

I am also entitled to express my viewpoint. Particularly when I see not only a failure to see an existing problem, but then a proposal which will make that problem worse. Of course I will express displeasure when I think my investment will suffer. I am trying to protect my investement just as you are with your fighting for the proposal. I can see Ryan/your side. I just disagree with it. However I sometimes think some of the proposal backers refuse to question their belief (or entertain in any way that it could have the wrong effect). By debates on here and on discord it is obvious people are not listening

You are right, in politics in 100 days many things can happen. There are so many variables that could swing the election either way but momentum seems to be with Biden and he should not make any outlandish statements otherwise he will jeopardise any chance to winning. Trump on the other hand will probably not might not be going down the softly-soft approach instead might stick to his aggressive and direct comments approach which just could be what his supporters and those sitting on the fence need to get him re-elected.

As for the whole email server thing and what else happened in the run up to the 2016 election, nothing to say history will not repeat itself with some other allegation and investigation - who knows.

Yup, 100 days really is a LOT of time.

Remember when James Comey came out 7 days before the election and said that he was reopening the case into Hillary Clinton? I honestly think that is one of the things (not the only variable, but one of them) that helped in changing the fate of the 2016 election. That may not have the same effect now in regards to Biden, as people don't trust AG Barr and the FBI director Christopher Wray as they (liberals and some moderates) consider them Trump cronies. Guess we weren't so so hyper partisan back in 2016.
6628  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Crex24 sudden KYC - while Crex24 wishes to stay anonymous on: July 24, 2020, 05:26:12 PM
Good move. Do not let them bully you with any emails because their primary function would be to get your ID. They cannot be trusted.

Do not send them anything because your ID might be sold on the black market to scammers and cause you more pain in the long run. I would advise you to not send your KYC to these scammers.

Any genuine exchange would allow you to remove your funds before KYC deadlines were introduced but any scam exchange would hold on to your funds in an attempt to seize them under false pretences.

Been affected too. It seems that even trading on exchange now requires KYC. Never received an announcement from Crex24 regarding newly implemented KYC. I don’t know how they will handled that kind of sensitive information. +1 from me to the flag you raided!

Thanks for the advice. Wont give them anything!
6629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: July 24, 2020, 05:18:49 PM
You make a valid point, when things are not going well such as price wise then it is probably wise to be active and pro-active with bright ideas, solutions and options rather than sit idle and allow a decline to continue but right now I think Dash is far away from that stage. I cannot concur when you say most people are happier to let Dash slip down the rakings but I do agree with you about challenging the status quo if and when necessary.

As you said, it looks like Dash and other crypto might be heading in to a growing phase but if things do not go according to plan then those propagating others options just might get more attention. Let us see how things develop nit he coming days.

It's an idea, though I think it would probably see about as much support as the technical arguments I've advanced on here have.

The fact is that most people are happier to let Dash slip continuously down the rankings than to challenge long held assumptions which incur an element of discomfort & risk. Those that are not just sell out and move on. We'll see what happens over the coming period as it looks like we're heading into a growth phase for crypto in general. If Dash does'nt perform as anticipated (or pumps & then stalls & burns at the next MN-high count like the last time), than at least the community will have an alternative explanation to consider which has had a decent airing.
6630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: July 24, 2020, 03:04:14 PM
Many thanks for the clearly articulated post you made. I never alluded to do anything (lessons, lectures or anything else) to educate people about what I perceive to be positive about Dash but even so I would like to apologise if you incorrectly felt I said something I clearly did not.

Maybe with time the masternode operators will come to a conclusion that change is not only needed but is overwhelmingly preferred or even essential, maybe if things ever get to that point then the direction of Dash will not be changing. You might be right from your perspective about the benefits of Dash going down a particular route but the consensus is what will carry the project forward and until (or unless) you have lots of people advocating a different stance and making noises in the right places where the echoes can be heard in the direction of the Core team - I think no matter how good or positive those changes might be they will have zero chance of being implemented as they will not even be known to the right people.

What is stopping you from compiling a whitepaper, putting forward your clear and concise plan stating your case for change. If your project is gathering momentum and has support of many investors or masternode operators then you can at least approach the Core team with a view to changing direction of the project. Posting here will not really do much in respect of the project changing direction.

@JollyGood There is no "negativity".

There is a challenge to the idea that for a mined coin, inflating the supply on a purely numerical basis rather than subjecting it to competitive mining, is healthy and may in fact cause capital to migrate to other assets if it's looking for a store of value. This theory seems to have been endorsed by observations.

Speaking for myself, I've promoted Dash for many years on the basis that it can do what bitcoin cannot. i.e. support the archetype of a highly valued, scarce digital commodity while making it super-useable.

However what gave Dash a competitive edge was inheriting bitcoin's monetary properties while decoupling a logical aspect of the protocol to provide services. Doing that effectively turned Dash from a gold "nugget" to a gold "coin". (But note that even in the archetype, the gold coin is still solid, not hollow).

The beauty of Dash in this respect is that it's capable of conserving the mining protocol, not at the expense of service provision. It solves many problems at once - for example payment confirmation can be delivered instantly while allowing the mining protocol as much time as it needs to create multiple confirmations. Other "coins" had to speed up the blocktime to to do this and ended up with orphaned blocks all over the place. Dash could also turn the masternode network into a coherent backend for client applications that require realtime consensus. The LLMQ aspect of the network is superbly thought through and orchestrates the service and mining protocols harmoniously to deliver realtime services instantaneously while, again allowing the mining protocol to operate on its own terms.

These are all great innovations. But they're all lost if the primary supply is no longer subjected to competitive mining in the first place. That's where the capital value lies with bitcoin, therefore that's where it lies with Dash. (Why else would you inherit the bitcoin mining protocol). We are not a service. We are a capital asset that's more versatile than bitcoin. It's the archetype.

A service is not unique, you can pick up "fast payments" anywhere, you can pick up "privacy" anywhere, you can pick up "ROI" anywhere, you can pick up "hope" anywhere, you can pick up "decentralisation" anywhere, you can pick up "limited supply" anywhere.

What you cannot pick up anywhere is these three things in combination:

 • a highly mined coin consistent with bitcoin's scarcity in terms of effort needed to access the supply
 • a highly versatile service-oriented network
 • a first mover born in the altcoin boom of 2014

Throw any one of those 3 away and you've got nothing. Reduce the mining element and you just dilute the value of the chain. The services are easily reproducible without the mining and at very low cost. It isn't a question of reward ratio, it's more importantly a question of what proportion of our supply is inflated through competitive effort and what proportion is inflated on a purely nominal basis (like the FED does). We have moved far too far towards the latter.

If competitive mining is considered dispensable, then EVERYTHING is thrown into reverse. We no longer deliver scarcity to the market, we deliver utility. We are a technology (software) product who's utility will be considered as dispensible as we considered our own mining protocol dispensible. We're no longer even competing in the same market sector as our previous contemporaries but rather alongside the newer proof of stake networks who can simply blow us away when it comes to technical versatility since they don't inherit the bitcoin protocol but rather a pure utility oriented protocol designed from the ground up for service delivery.

In summary, the opinions I'm posting here are no different than those that I've expressed for the last 5 years. I don't need any lessons in how to be "positive about Dash". I still see Dash as having (potentially) a very optimistic future if people screw their heads back on the right way and don't lose sight of what made this project rare and investible in the first place. The only thing that's changed is background narrative.

Let us all put our views here. The votes give a big indication of what the general consensus is towards the fighters is but there is more to this thread than just the votes in the poll.

This fight is very popular, if we close the thread, we won't be able to discuss the updates of this fight.
6632  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLL: November 2020 Trump or Biden? on: July 24, 2020, 09:37:07 AM
Unless things change fast for Trump, by that I mean the economy improves, racial tensions ease and there is positive news in the media on a prolonged basis - it seems Trump will find it extremely difficult to get re-elected. He might have won the Presidency in 2016 thanks to the electoral college even though he lost the popular vote but this time round many people will go for Biden as a protest vote against Trump even though they do not endorse either.

It will make interesting viewing as and when the votes are counted and results made public on election night.

Honestly in recent days / week or so I've been learning towards thinking that Biden is going to win both the popular vote and the electoral college. I really don't see how swing voters are going to agree with Trump and his rhetoric, and people are going to be voting in droves against him.

Coronavirus and the economy taking a massive hit has really horribly hurt Trump, and Trump isn't able to admit that some of this can be said to be his fault due to him not being quick enough with his response and taking leadership.

I said before he'd be able to get out of this if he showed that he was doing all that he could. But I really don't see Trump being able to get out of this one as nicely as he gets out of everything else.
6633  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: July 23, 2020, 10:47:40 PM
I think suchmoon is going to be 0.1btc richer!  Smiley
You just might be right but polls in so many elections have been proven wrong in the past, having said that it seems Biden is on course for a victory.

What are the polls in the US showing right now? Is it looking all doom and gloom for Trump or are voters just not yet taking to a Biden presidency?

Biden leads by >10% in most polls but a lot can happen in 100 days.
Yes in the final run up to the actual polling day many things can happen and one factor to take in to consideration has to be if there will be a percentage of voters taking votes away from Biden and giving them to West if he actually does run for office.

Biden just make a gaffe or two which might tilt the balance back in favour of Trump....
6634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: July 23, 2020, 10:43:50 PM
Lack of faith in the Dash Core team or in the project itself might not be the central reason, could there be ulterior motives too? Some of the negativity within the posts would not be out of place for paid competitors or even disgruntled investors (I am not saying that is what is going on here) but why so much anti-Dash sentiment in this tread?

I have difficulty understanding that too. I guess it is both a lack of faith in Dash development team and an inability to cope with a severe bear market.
Bear markets do require patience and a determination to see things through, as does project development.

This "UCIFETH" trash has SCAM written all over it. I added the fatsy and his sock-puppet samras1212 to my IGNORE list and left them appropriate feedback

Did you know:
- ANYONE with an internet connection and access to Ethereum could invest in this.
- There are no forms to fill out which means NO TAXES
WARNING - ONLY INVEST MONEY THAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE

Why don't you write it down? Give me your money and I'll give you some useless tokens! Your marketing will not work. Because you have been exposed from all sides. With fake teams, don't try to get investors anymore. No one will invest in your project. Because we will warn everyone not to invest in such scams.

If you think about it, UCIFETH IS the great equalizer. Just about anyone could invest: rich or poor, young or old, boy or girl; anyone. All you need is an internet connection and access to Ethereum. And btw, you WILL earn 1% in 24 hours FOREVER.

6637  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLL: November 2020 Trump or Biden? on: July 23, 2020, 04:45:53 PM
I was trying to find polls showing where Trump and Biden stand but was unable to find anything that seemed independent.

Even with what are perceived as multiple failings by the incumbent what is clear from past experiences is that just a headline here or there, or maybe a statement here or there could be enough shift public opinion back in favour of Trump especially if Biden makes a massive error in an interview or something alike. Biden is facing a sexual harassment claim whereas Trump faced multiple accusations of sexual harassment so maybe this issue along with their plans for the economy along with domestic and foreign policies might play a huge part in who gets elected.

What would it say for the Trump legacy if as you say Biden wons the popular vote and the electoral college? What would it say for the GOP and Trump if he secures a second term?

Will Trump be back for a second term or will Biden win the race for the Whitehouse?

I think Biden will win both the race and the popular vote. Polling suggests he's pulling ahead, and I can't see what Trump can do really to change things, other than get on top of Covid-19, which unfortunately seems very unlikely to happen. I don't think he's handled the BLM protests at all well. He is alienating more and more people, and when it's on something as fundamental as race, it's difficult to get these voters back again.

What I cannot understand is why they are posting as though they are waiting or hoping for Dash to fail? They do not seem to show any positivity towards Dash or acknowledge any of the good work the Dash Core group has put in and contributed so much towards.

Psychology of a Market Cycle

----------------------

I think a few people in this Dash sub forum are still in the 'Depression' / 'Disbelief' state right now (thereby thinking of all kinds of doomsday scenario's),
while the rest has moved on and are in the 'Hope' state.
6639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: July 23, 2020, 11:37:07 AM
There is a contradiction in your post.

How can you say you hope for an improvement in the token price because 46 million tokens are quite large in the available supply, yet you say 46 million is still a small amount compared to the circulation available?

Please elaborate, thank you.

Hopefully burning 46M tokens can improve the quality of prices on the exchange because this is quite large in the available supply, but I think by burning tokens about 46M is still small compared to the circulation available in the market.
6640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 23, 2020, 11:25:22 AM
Thank you for the suggestion but I think I will keep the thread open for a while longer because it was not just about the actual poll about who voters might select for a win, it was also supposed to be about a debate to share views about the differences between the two fighters as well as the fight date and other things.

Of the 64 votes so far, 50 have been for a Fury win which equates to 78.1% so there is no requirement for there to be 100 votes before I close the thread, I think the thread will remain open for a few days after the actual fight takes place.

It makes good reading what people posting here are saying about the fight and mentioning who might be the next opponent for the winner of this fight and other scenarios.

I said this to JollyGood weeks ago, this thread should be closed IMO, it's useless.

You already have a resounding result which shows Fury is favored by the majority, you don't need to get to 100 votes to tally the percentages—just scale up the numbers.

This thread should be closed until the fight is announced, or at least the title should b changed because its misleading.
