we got lucky mate
Nah it aint no luck, it is a +EV trading strategy. You can increase your trading position coins by 10% per week. That compounded... soon your trading position is so big as to not able to effectively trade. Then you start writing on the forum... ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) you didn't talk like that at some point today ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) it's easy to be general after the battle

Same, I'm losing bitcoins by day trading but at the moment I sleep easier holding $ rather than BTC
Also I've been averaging 2% return each day, if I kept that up for a year I would be rich.
I had dreams of 10%/day after few such days ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

153!
Short the shit out of this false breakout dudes like a boss! Dont be sheep, sell like a man. Disclosure: Sold BTC772 at $153. I thought you were perma ultra bull? Why do you think you can earn on day trades? As far as your posting history goes, you have lost money on day trading before. I don't mean any disrespect, I know you are and have made a lot of money on BTC but have you eraned on this kind of short term speculation?? Doing it just for the lulz. Bought back at an average price of $144. we got lucky mate, I've sold prematurely at 151 too, bought back at 145. Or not, who knows where this is heading, lol

My first attempt of daytrade was like this: "Ok, let's try daytrading with one coin bought at ~$80" "I think market will go up. Alright it did! *sold at ~$90*" Then I did this one more time when I was sure it will go up again, worked fine, but then I realized that while I was making money in fiat - I was losing it in Bitcoints.
hehe, that's the bad thing of day trading, you're often short in one of them

come on bulls, stop braving each other here, talk is cheap and start buying, I'm long ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

another dump.. crazy day, I'm good so far, hopefully it won't crash more
LOL that person was REALLY late to the party, and might just be kissing their coins goodbye. We'll see! I almost sold seconds before he did it but didn't want to test my luck again after I did it earlier today and it finished good. Should have though, easy 3%.

So that's what drawing triangles on charts can tell you? That the price is going either up or down. Interesting.
Doubt as to where the further price moves are heading - the triangle shows that swing trades are narrowing the price range thus reducing the volume traded by day traders. I have heard that a break-out from a triangle is a strong indicator on the future direction. But some say it is a contrarian indicator lol. Let us hope it is a contrarian indicator since the price just broke out below the triangle's trading range. Big players are fighting it out now. Huge volumes. If the price goes above 158, it would seem that the break out was a contrarian or maybe a fake indicator. But to me, TA is mostly entertainment. I am holding for the longest time and not daytrading. Hehe, 159 right now. I don't think two minute time frames get to count as dead cat bounces. haha Rather 153, dead cat bounce you didn't mind 2 minute frame 159 though ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) can go anyway as always though

where do you trade that has stop-loss order anyway?

C'mon guys, sell it just a bit lower. $145 = me partying
me too, sold some at 150's, not happy at the moment, should have done earlier or hold. Hate when I can't stay cool and stick with the plan.

If they said they will implement bitcoin in next few months you'd be watching bitcoin's price at 500$ at this moment. And thousands in week or two.
Where we stand at, it's huge news to hear Paypal, WesternUnion etc talking any kind of positive talk about bitcoin. That produces positive stuff in average Joe head, and when enough of average Joes have that view you won't wait long to see Paypal and similar companies giving some deadlines about bitcoin.

At this point of bitcoin history even a hint of Paypal possibly accepting bitcoin as funding option is extremely huge news. If you can't figure that out, you have problems. And this comes to someone who's neither bull or bear.
Yeah. Extremely huge news. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Good news. Maybe 5% up ? I think even less. No, it's extremely good news. Short term it could mean 5 or 30%, I don't know, but it's extremely good news for bitcoins generally. It adds big wtf factor to people on the fence and people who don't understand bitcoin. When you hear even remotely good news about bitcoin coming from Paypal, Western Union, Moneygram you ask yourself some questions. Either you're buyer or potential merchant. It's looong way til Paypal recognition would become a fact of course but any tiny bit helps at this moment of bitcoin history. And again I'm not a bull at all, specially not typical bitcointalk aggressive bull sucker.

The paypal comment means nothing. Just being a CEO. What else could have said ? Fuck bitcoins ? You guys are delusional...
That doesn't matter. They probably will never implement anything bitcoin for all we know. But the fact that he mentioned that they are eyeing bitcoin, true or not, will spark some confidence into bitcoin and boost credibility. Paypal CEO mentioning bitcoin == positive bitcoin publicity. Of course, you can be the biggest bear in the world but should take some profit that interview can produce for you.

^What's with the rally in Litecoin? Did Paypall make a statement about Litecoin that I don't know about?
Last few weeks litecoin acts as bitcoin proxy - bitcoin up, litecoin up and vice versa
