6621  Economy / Economics / Re: Isn't it important for crypto currency that Bitcoin is the one? on: March 10, 2016, 08:49:35 AM

Isn't it important for crypto currency to succeed that Bitcoin is the one?  From a store of value point of view lets say something else takes over, well then crypto will have a harder time of more people putting money into it if their money can be devalued.

Yeah it is like the father of all those coins. I dont know who's the mother of those other coins but I guess they are all adopted. I think there should only be one. So that people who want to start it will not get confused to other ones. And what is more. To make it stronger.
6622  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin always be dependent on fiat? Is it? on: March 10, 2016, 08:46:29 AM
Yes because we need something to compare to what the value of bitcoin is. But right now, fiat controls all of the currency market if that can change somehow in next hundred years I think its possible for bitcoin to replace fiat. For me fiat is fundamentally flawed and totally corrupted so I would like that to happen one day! Question is will we see that in our life time or not?

Yes that day would be a great day for us. But I think we will not be alive at that time. That is the sad thing though. This world have many problems and to change that fiat to a new currency will take a lot risk.
6623  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: March 10, 2016, 08:38:47 AM
If Government and Bitcoin can works together, i'm sure it will a big news for bitcoins user and it will affect the price of bitcoins. and can be increase the price.

bitcoin it's not a company, bitcoin can not work "together" with anyone, it's decentralized, it's the government that need to accept it or ban it if they want, but they know they cna not do it

so in the end it's better for them to regulate this crypto currency and retrieve some taxes
How about argentina government? They looks "work together" with bitcoin after their economy crisis, bitcoin mentioned could save them.
And argentina president looks support about using bitcoin and so far there is no taxes for anybody who hold bitcoin.

For real? Might do some research here and I hope it is not a hoax. But if this is real then how would they do it. How about the export and import of materials and other things. Will it be paid by bitcoin?
6624  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 10, 2016, 08:36:03 AM
I think that people who are saying always that bitcoin is dead just want to spread fear and panic between holders so they sell their coins cheap and prices fall. so then they can buy cheap coin and earn from that dumps. so we should do not listen to them
agree usually it is done by the big wholesalers. which has a very large bankroll trading. its purpose is only one driving prices down. and they hoard many bitcoin

That could be one good reason too. Making a fake news will make some sell then they those who are greedy in buying more will have their chance. It happened like a month ago that dude sold his bitcoins and really affected the price.
6625  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: March 10, 2016, 08:33:48 AM
I rarely buy bitcoins, rather then I involve myself in earning bitcoins, and the main reason behind it is that the value would be much higher in future so I can have good money in my wallet.

That is cool. But look how great the price of it now. There is this kind of thinking that we should start gaining more bitcoins now than be late and the price grew doubled. Then that is the time we regret it saying " I shouldve bought when the price is still low".
A lot of people were thinking the exact same thing back in 2013, when the price skyrocketed and so.

Going from $10 to $1,200 in a matter of days (my numbers may be a bit off though) is something to make anyone groan that they didn't buy sooner.

Sometimes it almost made me crazy just by thinking how many dollars I have lost for just that decision to buy or not. Trust issue will always be a problem with bitcoin. Well it is unpredictable so better not regret what I done.
6626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 10, 2016, 08:31:38 AM
Here in our country there are shops where you buy bitcoins. And I tell you man those are really big shop. Actually they are international. And they wouldn't risk something like that if it is easily hackable or not real.
6627  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 10, 2016, 08:28:19 AM
Your kinda right I am waiting for Bitcoin to drop but at the same time I'm afraid it might not rise again
actually I doubt bitcoin will go down as sharp as it was at $ 100/btc but if that happens you do not be worry dude. many people will save bitcoin. because surely many people will buy bitcoin at the lowest prices. so you do not be afraid of it. bitcoin users is very much

Nah that $100 mark is far forgotten. It will be really to pull it to that price again. for now it is moving at 400-450 and if you want some profit that 400 dollar mark is the best time to buy.
6628  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 10, 2016, 08:26:27 AM
i have quit from my job, i recently focused on my franchise business it's a food actually, people are living in my area can order food from my officially instagram and facebook, we're just online and it's really fun make money from home, i can do everything on interner including trading bitcoin

Ohh! But this business of yours doesn't accept bitcoin? You have a lot of spare time if you own the property and you have someone to do it for you at your business like some manager. Plus more earnings from learning bitcoin.

True. No one owns it that is why it will be hard for them on how to control because there is no one to control. Erasing it from the online world will only be the action that they can do.
6630  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin halving to be canceled? on: March 10, 2016, 06:45:02 AM
Is this just some kind of a hoax or someone is scaring someone.  Grin I dont think so. That will happen eventually. I think a lot might be affected if it will be canceled.
6631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: March 10, 2016, 06:43:29 AM
This is not a major problem but this is linked to the price movement.

Panic selling: This has many reasons to happen. Example is to get profits and others are worried so they will exit.

This kind of minor problem is really challenging. It gives thrills in every trading moves.

Kind of do that also from months ago. Got it wrong though. Sold at a high price. Well I thought it was high but didnt know it will go higher. Yes it is exciting but when you lose kinda makes me sad.
6632  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: March 10, 2016, 06:42:01 AM
I actively spend bitcoins because its the point that you can pay really easy with the bitcoins these days.
Mostly spending them on digital goods because they are cheap to buy with the bitcoins.

Yeah and sending some just takes a low transaction fees. Great for people that are always sending money in their businesses. It is fast and more affordable. You wont feel like someone is stealing from you.
6633  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: March 10, 2016, 06:40:54 AM
If Government and Bitcoin can works together, i'm sure it will a big news for bitcoins user and it will affect the price of bitcoins. and can be increase the price.

It will affect how you buy things through bitcoin because they will infuse tax on things you used on your bitcoin.
Its a big step if they accept bitcoin as a currency but they can tax it as people are against that.

No tax and no support from government. I think that should be their motto from now on. They wont help if they dont get anything. They always want something in return.
6634  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 10, 2016, 06:39:28 AM
Depends to how much you get to be satisfied. but then you may not be satisfied with just about 1000 BTC. To support you demands every day you would need constant flow of money and i mean you can never have enough. Lets say at first you just need a canoe later you would need a pump boat and when you got a girl you might need a hellicopter.. now 1000 btc may not suffice..

that is because you can never have enough btc to live and enjoy.

That money should still grow and go back to its place once you move some or cash it out. It wont be good if you just use and never get back what you used. Somehow it will all be depleted even if you just use it little by little
6635  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 10, 2016, 06:37:43 AM
I think investing in Gold would be more profitable in long run, as I am investing in Gold since a long time and every time I have received some good returns so majority of my investments I would make in gold and a small part in bitcoins.
I do not believe gold will benefit in the long term. gold price is already too high unlikely to go higher. may be stable at current prices. just my opinion

I dont think so. As long as it is valuable to the people it will remain as a good investment. This gold will always be at good price and there will be a time that there will be no more gold that can be mined and that will make it more pricy.
6636  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 09, 2016, 10:42:26 PM
If the marketing part of bitcoin will be executed properly. Meaning they do it instead of waiting for the community to do it, then bitcoin can be real big.
I would not mind to pay 0.01% fee of every transaction if the money is spend on good marketing.

The question is who will do it? Are the miners the one who are supposed to do this marketing or we need some leaders from the government?  Future of bitcoin is handled by the community for now. We aee the ones making the big waves speciallly those who have a lot.
6637  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: March 09, 2016, 02:44:39 PM
can easily accessed by child

Do You have a idea about Full-scale parental-control utilities?
Just use them, and not spam the bullshit against adult related sites.

I guess those access have to be dealt with parenting. Get those security settings that will help you create an account that have some limitations to where a child can get. Besides a child should only play if he or she is holding your phone. If you got good security then that wont be a problem even if he hits that phone or laptop so hard.
6638  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: March 09, 2016, 02:39:29 PM
I really dont know why bitcoin is still here but in my opinion there are big men who are keeping it protected and they are also into bitcoin that is why it stays. The government can ki bitcoin if they want to. But there are people out there who are stopping it.

Everyone is aware that what government as done so far for the betterment of country and society. They are just busy in filling their own pockets with black money and scandal and scams if they start supporting bitcoin then it would end all their corrupted activities.

True. The more money they get the more power it will be. Really scary if they got a hold of this too. Transaction taxes will go up for sure and our coins might also be monitored always and that is one creepy story.
6639  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 09, 2016, 02:36:45 PM
Even if it gives me a high income than my day job, I won't quit it because of its volatile nature. If the price goes very low than my prediction, I can't manage the month with the earned Bitcoin.

Yeah or something wrong might happen and that will be sh**y.  Better save that day job or wait for bitcoin to increase while you cant withdraw it because of the low price.
6640  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 09, 2016, 02:34:49 PM
You will need a lot of Bitcoins I think. The value will always so that is the problem. Sometimes you are poor and sometimes you are rich.
And that is not good. Then your life will depend on a currency and that is not good.

Very well said. That is why you really need a lot to retire. Maybe cash some for a safer method or invest it to get a good house or some lands that can be sold or rented. Some businesses in the real world would be great rather than waiting for the price of bitcoin to come up.
