6621  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin less volatile than Standards & Poors. on: November 05, 2018, 09:44:01 AM
I saw this article in my twitter feed; t'was interesting. The S&P500 is now more volatile than bitcoin.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-11-02/s-p-500-s-wild-ride-makes-u-s-stocks-more-volatile-than-bitcoin

Methinks that the increase in bitcoin adoption has done its work in reducing volatility.

Maybe it does because of the adoption.

It is kind of boring though when I see this type of bitcoin or other crypto currency, some prefer it that way.
I think it may just be for this year.
You are preducting a 20k at 2020 so you are also thinking that kind of tweet is impossible to happen in the next years to come. You may want another volatile bitcoin to reach your target price.
6622  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if there is a global economic crash? on: November 04, 2018, 11:06:03 PM
It may have a larger value but for the expense of prices of goods also soaring to the highest level of it. Inflation.
So what could we buy with our bitcoin if that happens?
None.

We are still leaning on the economy of the world. Bitcoin cannot produce food. Farmers do. Farmers need pure cash, I dont think they know anything about bitcoin.
6623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 04, 2018, 12:19:29 PM
Again, the San Antonio Spurs showcased some good plays against the Pelicans.
The ball rotation didnt stopped. They keep on having new kind of plays.
Out of all those good plays there is one that I could not stop thinking. A play that mostly Ginobili does.
They did it using Marco Belinelli and he did it perfectly. As he goes to the basket for a lay up he almost looked like Ginobili. A quick cut to the middle with a quick lay up and he got the plus 1.
6624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best cryptocurrency to invest in 2018 on: November 04, 2018, 11:06:44 AM
BTC, Qtum, Komodo and ETH.
Something tells me it aint over for ETH yet.
Something out there will pop out using the ERC20 service. It might the next big deal that could also make ETH valuable again.
As of Qtum they have already proven it. The usage will grow in time.
Also ETH cheap tx fee is so freaking good.
6625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: between terrorists, banks and crypto on: November 04, 2018, 07:49:01 AM
I do think what they say is true.
Terrorist wont use something without physical attributes. They all prefer cash, specially USD which is the most popular of all.
It is like every arms manufacturer or bomb creator will prefer it that way since it can easily be exchanged to their own currencies.

It wont be bitcoin. They might not even know about it.
6626  Economy / Economics / Re: Companies aren't responsible for innovation, consumers are on: November 03, 2018, 11:51:34 PM
Tech giants are usually praised as holding complete responsibility for innovation, but you can' t have supply without demand.

People are programmed to compulsively desire the latest and greatest thing, which is why they are willing to justify working so hard in jobs most of them hate, or trade bitcoin lol.

If this scenario weren't happening, tech companies wouldn't have the budgets to create the incredible technology that we now have.

Where do you think this seemingly endless cycle will lead? Will the technology ever solve so many problems and carry so much value that it would destroy the cycle?

Why blame the consumers?
If you have the right features for a project then I am sure people will go for it. There is now social media who can help a lot if you want a project to be funded by the community.
Big investors will be next to it when it is seen as being hyped by most people.

I have seen a lot who does like that. They dont pay for ads but yet they have buyers.
Have fairh with people, they are getting wise now.
6627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why a lot of bounty hunters dislike KYC ? on: November 03, 2018, 11:08:28 PM
If it is just the bounty hunters here doing signature campaign, facebook and twitter then there is a reason.

They dont want to be caught of the greedy things that they are doing.
5 to 10 accounts in one campaign? How could you have different kind of identification in KYC for all of that to be paid?
That is all the reason behind it.
6628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin save the music industry? on: November 03, 2018, 08:52:01 PM
No, bitcoin don't have all of this power !

If we want to save music industry, we mustn't download music from internet  Grin

This answer. Grin

It is the new age where everything can be downloaded by now. Or should be for easy convenient keeping.
No more CD's that will get scratched and afterwards would not work anymore.

Anyway I do believe there is another way for bitcoin to save the music industry. It is not thru blockchain which you are proposing. It is the means to buy it. Bitcoin as internet money, music in internet. I do think that it connects already.
Faster, no credit cards and not too much information of the buyer to leak. Besides we are just buying music. Why the need to know who I am.
6629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is a day of a crypto trader? on: November 03, 2018, 07:10:22 PM
It is not an everyday Christmas. Mostly it is loss that happens because of this unpredictable prices. You may have to think again of going full time. (Yeah I know you are having that thought)

It is boring to just monitoring every prices of crypto that you hold. Stay at day job and just do part time trading. It works like a charm.
6630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 03, 2018, 05:41:47 PM
It is really getting to the point where we will see the real standings. I mean so far there has been the early days of NBA and we haven't seen the teams playing with all their systems intact and fully built but right now all the good teams who started bad started to win lately and all the bad teams who won started to lose again.

Magic Johnson apparently berated Luke Walton, the first thought was it was because of the bad start and everyone said the team has Lebron but all others are not enough to make the team win many games however apparently the point was that Magic Johnson wants Luke Walton to build that warriors system (Luke Walton was assistant coach for Steve Kerr) into Lakers and have a "system" they play in, right now everything just happens and there is no system but if Lakers build a system and improve with new FA next season they can be really good.

My first thought when they created that line up. It may be next year that this team will do good. But there is also a problem. Other players contracts will be done and they will add more which might wreck their chemistry again.
The veterans specially might be traded again. I dont think the Lakers management will be absorbing them again even if they do good this season.
They better win that crown if they want to really let the team be intact the next season.

If it just for experience for the young ones then it is working too.
6631  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Prices Predicting Software on: November 02, 2018, 01:43:14 PM
Think about it clearly. How can a software algorithm predict prices? How could they take into consideration human emotion aspect? I think what you're looking for is a fortune teller.

Lol. No jokes but this is the real answer.
I have been telling this here all over the forum.
We aint that powerful to foresee what the future will be. We just go with the flow of the present time.

You trade, you risk. You get lucky if it goes to where you want to be and made a heck of a profit.
That profit will circulate again to create more profit making you look like a better trader. But think about it. Even them could lose it in an instant.
6632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind falling Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2018, 10:59:36 AM
BTC is still falling to the pit and I want to know the reasons behind it and do you think it will go down more!

I dont think someone could accurately answer your question.
It will all just be a wild guess. If they are basing on technical analysis it is not that accurate too but there might be a chance it could happen. Count all the trading website by now. It has grown to full scale that you cannot monitor every trades that will happen by now.

Might as well just go with the flow or keep holding.
6633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 02, 2018, 06:40:52 AM

This is what a healthy D.Rose can do. He is getting back just like the old time. He's now the topic in NBA and often saw about it in different pages. Hope, he stay healthy and really wanted to see more of explosive D.Rose. He's now starting to get back the shine, form, etc. he has before.

All I can say is AWESOME. His emotion during interview really touches the heart of those people who are still expecting to him. I can't believed he able to pull up 50 big points which is no doubt no one expected it (even me honestly). Although it just a single game, Derrick Rose proven that he is still have it. Take note also that he has a wonderful performance in their recent games "coming off a bench".

That 50 points not just came from doing perimeters and outside shot that's why it's special for most fans and even for those not a fan of him. We seen his signature move of diving into the paint challenging the defense lots of times. That move is injury proned but still he continue to do it.

Others NBA players also appreciated it, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant etc.

Yeah just watched now when I read it here.
That is real emotion.
He really loved the game. He want his old gameplay to come back and he did it.
I just hope this continues for he still got a lot of fans even though he had been thrown like trash after his injury.

That face of him which is real gave me a tear too. Kind of still thinking of DRose by now. I will follow this guy.
6634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you buy Cryptocurrency ? on: November 01, 2018, 08:39:41 PM
It is for a reason that most people do not see.

Crypto currencies specially bitcoin. These coins will be the next future. It is better to be a beta buyer. Proven and tested already with bitcoin at 300 usd per piece and now multiplied by so much. But that is looking at a fiat concern. There is so much to it.
It wont get this much value if there is no great reason.
Easy to have a conclusion.
6635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things You Can Buy with Bitcoin on: November 01, 2018, 05:29:34 PM
Mostly I see it can be used for donation.
Thanks though for bringing that up. They might be users here that are staying on those place or are in vacation.
It might be me who will be there and now I know what place could I use it.

In my place though, there is no such thing as that. I mean literally using it for buying a physical thing. But I do can pay my bills using bitcoin now.  Grin
6636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 01, 2018, 03:37:13 PM
Shocked at how the Portland played Houston.
They played defense like it is the playoffs already.
Is it really that huge impact when Harden is there for the Houston. Coz now that he is injured it seems like they are lost.
That is a big lead from the Portland playing an offensive team. They could do better than that.
So a 1000 times dribbler Harden lost is a punishment to them. They must do more, it will be 2 weeks of healing.

Portland may have just taken the opportunity and that is why they play hard D.
6637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: - 200 % from January on: October 31, 2018, 10:58:21 PM
Well, shit happens.

I dont think you are the only one which is in the same position.
In fact, many of us here have lost a lot of USD. But that is one problem only of those who converts too much.
Stay with the game. You bought a crypto token or a coin, that means you believe in crypto currencies and not the fiat..
Yeah  we all need the fiat for now. But if you are still earning fiat then it is easy while on the other hand you cannot earn crypto now. You buy it for future usage.
6638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: myetherwallet hacks? WTF!!! on: October 31, 2018, 09:39:05 PM
It has been said several times in this forum that myetherwallet is no longer safe to check your tokens, otherwise you might get hacked.

If you want only to see what is the current content of your wallet, I find ethplorer.io the best option. I used myetherwallet only twice in my life...

This is the same as me. Grin
My account is so old but never really opened it for so many times. I think I got the same number which is two.

There is not much going on out there and dex do save your accounts with your browser so I just let it be. Besides, I have not much token out there from ERC20.
6639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Good News And The Chart on: October 31, 2018, 02:43:56 PM
Bitcoin is a game of strong hands. When weak hands will lose all their hope and sell all, the bull will wake up. Wink

I agree with this.
Why others still have too much doubt in their heart?
It is being shown in front of us and yet we are still looking so far away.

Bitcoin will be the next most used currency and there is no doubt about that. If you still have some doubts then you better sell it right away or you will just have stress problem in the future. This will happen over and over again. Pumps and dumps which cannot be stopped.
6640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 31, 2018, 02:24:01 PM
Okay. Now its Klay Thompson breaking Steph's record. What is the problem with those hands of the splash brothers.
They might have sold it to the devil. Grin justbkidding.
14 three pointers. Dang! And the game isnt even finished yet.

And another high scoring game again by them (also the Bulls). I don't see any problem concerning defense but today's league offense by almost most of the team is really insane.

Anyways, I noticed Steve Kerr doing some changes in playing time of their players and it quiet effective. Looks like he is testing something.

Yeah. As I said, it was like he is doing a Phil Jackson style of gameplay and rotation.

True about the offense thing. Houston, GSW, Toronto and more. They are kind of focusing on fire power. Offense have been easier now. There is not much defense that can be seen. Since when did a player get a double figure of blocks and steal?
All I can remember is Duncan who almost made a quadruple double with blocks. After that? Blocks dont go up by 5. That is also because shooting outside have a wider space by now. Thanks to that new rule of them.
