Long term or short term investment? It's not the same.
Given the choice of coins, my personal favorite long term list would be:
1.) Bitcoin
2.) Cardano
3.) Monero
4.) NEO
5.) Litecoin
6.) Binance Coin
7.) Ethereum
8.) EOS

These are all good growing Cryptocurrency so I am also agree that but we should consider to split which one is supporting to short term investment and long term investment. All the investors are buy Bitcoin in this situation because all are bleeding heavily in recent days but Bitcoin is maintain a constant level. I think Litecoin and cardano is not performing well in this year so it is not a worthy investment in this year. |

Article says: EOS is a relatively new coin on the block launched initially this year in January, but that should not dissuade you. They provide an architecture for people to build upon dApps (Decentralized Applications) which looks very promising and has received praise from many people in the cryptocurrency community. I would highly recommend reading through their whitepaper or website and checking out the token, it’s definitely one to consider for your personal portfolio. I really don't know what "cryptocurrency community" the writer is referring to, as from what I've seen majority of what EOS has received from the community(besides the r/EOS subreddit community) has mostly been negative criticisms as expected. All that aside, the article was bad in my opinion. It was just pretty much "look at this coin because it's a dApp platform" etc etc. |

Don't you guys think that binance coin is too much risky?
It's one exchange, with less than 2 years old.
100% centralized, as it is all based on the exchange.
This coin may disappear as fast as it appeared. I would definitely not rank it along side with cardano, ethereum, monero....

I think I would personally go for EOS and the NEO projects, to me they are most innovative scalable blockchain concepts that are set to revolutionized cryptocurrency ecosystem, however I also have the passion for Ethereum because of its smart contract capability if upgraded. |

I would go for, bitcoin and monero. The like to keep my portfolio nice and simple.
In terms of speculations and ICOs I'm looking to add more MOBU tokens. Asides being an investor. I'd recommend the project to anyone.

Why you think like that? look who is the owner of binance, he is more reliable than many creators of these altcoins. So why should anyone be afraid of the Binance coin? Of course this currency will not give 10x of returns, at least I doubt it will have a 10x long term increase |

Yes, you are absolutely right. It's centralized and risky and it is not a crypto-currency in the real sense of the word. It may disappear without a trace if the company who created it decides to do so. However, what I like about binance coin is its relative stability. For example, during the last 6 months or so, BNB has lost much less than most of the other alts. So traders on Binance may use it as a temporary store of value. Other than that (and trading fee reduction on Binance if you trade frequently), I wouldn't take it for a serious competitor among the other coins. |

Gox collapse was so abrupt and phenomenal, nobody was expecting. Binance may be more stable and have better security, but it's a huge attack vector. There are also other risks associated with binance, such as regulation, possible legal problems.... it's almost like buying a share of a company in the stock market. However, in a almost non-regulated market, where scams and legal problems are much more common. But, anyway, it was a phenomenal investment (whoever bought it early). |

Your list is pretty good and I agree with your list. Though your ranking system wasn't good enough! Especially, I have big hope into binance coin, NEO, EOS, NPXS. I will delist MONERO from here and will add NPXS (Pundix) coin. Many good coins are now in sleep mode, If the market starts growing towards the bull run then we will see some unexpected coin will be very big. LCS, MTC, IMT Coins may increase more than x100!

2018 is bearish periode for all crypto, and for now all crypto already touched the bottomed after the price big crash. In my opinion all top 100 ranking coin is best to invest and all of them has potential to going up to the top price again. And will be better idea to chooce crypto that has stronger fundamental like XRP, XLM, NANO, ETH, BTC.

BTC, Qtum, Komodo and ETH.
Something tells me it aint over for ETH yet.
Something out there will pop out using the ERC20 service. It might the next big deal that could also make ETH valuable again.
As of Qtum they have already proven it. The usage will grow in time.
Also ETH cheap tx fee is so freaking good.

For people who use Binance to trade, BNB is good choice - for two reasons. First is reducing the trading fees ( 25% discount ) and second is referral commission which is 40% if user hold a certain amount of BNB coins ( 500 BNB or more ). Since Binance is one of the most famous crypto exchange and they are constantly evolving and expanding into new markets, their coin is for now looks like a very good investment. Of course that in the event of any larger problems for Binance their coin will go down, but in fact there is not even one crypto coin with 100% guaranteed success - and that goes for BTC also. |

These coins are pretty okay to invest in but going by my list i will rather choose to invest on the following 1) Bitcoin 2) Ethereum 3) XRP 4) TRON and 5) IOST The following coins are good for a long term investment and never regret. |
