6641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: February 26, 2020, 01:34:13 PM
What do you think, will Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling?
After seeing that you could have bought a new motorbike or buy an expensive watch on all your losses that you have computed.
I'm not tracking it but I can compute what I spent for gambling and I knew it already that I need to stop.

Gambling for me isn't worth to spend my money with. There are other things that I can do to spend my money and gambling isn't one of it. I didn't kept a record of my total losses in gambling because it will give me additional stress but base on my computation, I know that I need to stop already because there is no good future in gambling.

I wish that some of the gamblers try to compute their losses and they must realize how much money they are losing in gambling.
6642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 26, 2020, 01:20:45 PM
Earning money is real hard and it's a no-brainer. So basically what I do is I write down in a diary of my daily income along side with what I have sacrificed for earning that amount.
Somewhat I feel you and TBH you are more lucky than me because you got a skill at least while I don't have any skill but only playing online games. Still finding a way to earn money thru playing until now Cheesy.

Yesterday night after finishing my own assignment, I worked as a freelancer from 12am to 2 am to complete an assignment based on electrical engineering to earn $20.
I assume that you are a student and as a student, it is very good to hear that you are creating ways to earn as a student. I know some of the students who are happy-go-lucky right now. What they do are just spending money and not working.

Now when I would have the urge to gamble with that $20, I would just see the diary and would realize I am not just gambling with $20 but gambling with that sacrifice of time and effort which I'll never get back. And it has worked for me to a certain level.
Well, your diary can be your inspiration and at the same time make you more discipline with regards to your money. You have worked hard to get it and using it just for gambling isn't a good way to spend it.

Now you know how hard to work for money, this can be a chance for you to stop gambling and focus on freelancing, investing and saving your money for the future. Gambling in the long run will not give you any benefits. Just continue what you are doing right now Smiley.
6643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: February 26, 2020, 01:05:15 PM
For us to get rid of gambling addiction, we have to keep in mind that there are lots of risks that we will be facing if we'll not control our emotions towards it.
Unfortunately, gambler don't care about the risks. What do they only care is the money they can get if they win and not thinking of the other side of it. Controlling emotions especially if you are addicted into gambling is hard that you can't do it. If you lose, you will do revenge gambling and if you win you will continue to gamble until you ran out of money.

Being greedy could also bring us into a situation that we might regret in the future. Everything will rely on how we handle things. In gambling, we have to control our emotions or else it will be the one who will control us. To get rid of gambling addiction, we have to discipline ourselves and we should also know our limits.
As I said, controlling emotions in gambling is hard. If you are not a disciplined person before you start gambling, it will be hard for you to make an adjustment when worse thing happen like losing your money. Knowing the limits is very easy to say but very hard to do. The best thing to do is to just not gamble at all.
6644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 26, 2020, 12:45:24 PM
There are times that I felt greedy and I want to get back my losses but there is only one result to it and we know it already.

Being greedy most of the time in gambling leads  to further loss of money. If you think like this, this only shows that you are not a responsible gambler and you can't control yourself. It would be better if you will just stop gambling after losing especially if you lose a huge amount than getting another funds again just to try your luck again and regain your money.

What's new here? He is a banker so what will you expect with him when it comes to crypto Cheesy.

He is a respectable person when it comes to investing so I will not say anything to him but if we trust crypto, the only thing that we can do right now is to remain silent and let him spit the words he want. He says bad regarding crypto is a good opportunity for us to accumulate more Bitcoin Smiley.

But it is a very well known fact that in February only
Sun gifted Buffett one bitcoin , after striking that deal with him .
We know that Justin Sun is the king of "HYPES". Do you think that a meeting with a person who is anti-crypto will happen Cheesy.

6647  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting its steady price? on: February 26, 2020, 11:56:49 AM
When I saw that a hacked on BCH happened, I already expected for a further downside within the next days and it really happened.

With this, I'm expecting for a further downside in the next few days.

TBH, another opportunity for us to accumulate more Bitcoin Cheesy. You can't use the word "steady" with Bitcoin because we know how volatile it is already so this is a no no already. There is no "safe" too here since anything can happen so the capped price of $10k is somewhat irrelevant and we saw already the market going down including BTC>

Doubts clarified. Hope we helped you in any way Smiley.
6649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: February 23, 2020, 12:24:23 PM
For fun when I'm watching.

When I'm still gambling, I often gamble on sports betting and I usually bet on some teams just to have some excitement while I'm watching. Unfortunately, most of the time I lost my money so the ending is that I don't finish what I'm watching because I know that I lost my bet.

I don't gamble on casino because there are no near casinos here but if there are some gamblers here who are gambling on casino, probably their main reason why they are gambling is because of profits. I don't want to invest too much money on gambling as I have other priorities in life.
6650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 23, 2020, 12:07:02 PM
~
Unfortunately, newbies don't have the desire to learn to be honest because what they want is they want to gain money in a quick and easy way. They don't want to spend some time researching that is why they are falling even for an obvious scams like Bitcoin doubler or daily interest kind of scams etc.

In my experience, I didn't fell for this kind of scams because I didn't just do some research at first but I listened to some of the experts and asked questions to some people before investing. I don't want to just throw away my money to some investment that I don't know how it work.

As long as there are newbies and lazy investors out there, scam will be everywhere.
6651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 23, 2020, 06:36:45 AM
The gypsy king remains on his throne!

Congratulations Fury for the amazing performance and the win!
The Round 3 right punch is the game changer. That knockdown on the round is the game changing and he got the victory.

TBH, there are so many hugging to the game and there are times where Fury put Wilder's head between his arms and body. This is his advantage because he is very heavy and it is energy draining.
After that 3rd round knockdown, Wilder is trying to regain himself throughout the game but he can't because of the huge reach and powerful punches of Fury. Bloods everywhere from Wilder. It is the first time I saw Wilder like this. Heavily battered, feeling dizzy and can't use his counter punch.

I know Kenny Bayless is a professional referee and he has been a referees in many fights of Pacquiao but I don't understand why he stopped the fight. Wilder can still fight even though he is heavily battered but I surprised of how the fight ended and a bit disappointed too. Fury got the upper hand already but to end like this, I'm smelling for a rematch with what happened and for sure Wilder can't accept it. It is also his first lose.

I also laughed a bit with how Fury licked on the back of Wilder with bloods around their body Cheesy.

WILL WAIT FOR ANOTHER REMATCH BECAUSE OF THIS DISAPPOINTING ENDING Cheesy.
6652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone still earning with bounties? on: February 23, 2020, 05:38:39 AM
Are you still earning money with them or just a few bucks (which is not worth to bother)?
I stopped joining bounty campaigns (altcoin-paid) already but when I stopped it, I felt that the profit that I can get from it is slowly declining so I decided to join on a campaign whose paying their participants with Bitcoin and I'm on it for a year already.

In 2017 and 2018, it was so profitable. Now, what is the situation?
Bounty hunting isn't profitable anymore for me because of the fact that scammers are everywhere. There are many ICO's which are either a scam coin, a dead coin, or a coin who doesn't have any funds to start because they've failed to get funds in the token sale.

Should I start again?
You should stop at once.
6653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not FOMO on newly listed altcoins on Binance on: February 23, 2020, 04:28:46 AM
This happens not only on Binance but all of the exchanges who are listing a new altcoin so this is not a new thing already.

I remember the time when I got reward from my previous bounty campaign and I've waited for it to be listed. The initial price has been set already and before the time that it is up already on the exchange, the price of in plummeted already.

The more people who got FOMO on a new listed altcoin, the more traders will be rekt. On the other side, there are some traders who can get a huge profit from this dump and pump if they know the perfect timing to buy and perfect time to sell. Aside from that, those newbies who are FOMO'ing to these shitcoins are getting rekt most of the time.
6654  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin won't surge past 11k, your thoughts... on: February 23, 2020, 04:11:55 AM
The chances of it not to happen is 5-10%.

Yes we declined these past few days and we are not at the $9600 price right now but the 11k mark is near already. Many are expecting that as the halving is approaching, the price of Bitcoin will still increase. I also believe that the correction that we experienced right now is a healthy correction and the $10500 price which is the highest that Bitcoin reached is the psychological support and those traders sold their Bitcoins at that price. Still though, I don't want to expect too much on Bitcoin. I'd rather expect a good development from its technology.
6655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 23, 2020, 03:52:53 AM
Just gamble with your own ways with minimum risk and keep repeating within your affordable limit, one day you may be happy with your gambling.
Gambling with minimum risk is good but to keep repeating it especially when you are losing all the time, you will not be happy with it.

Most of the users here shared their opinion already regarding the ways. I think the best would be, less is more. Less money to use in gambling is more time with your family. Less time in gambling is more time with other things. When a gamblers gambles, regret is what they feel more often. Spending less money on gambling and making sure that you will be ok if you lose it will be a good feeling for you and at the same time, you can spend your precious time with other people too. Don't spend too much time in gambling because gambling is a time-killer and it is not worth it for me.
6656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 23, 2020, 03:25:59 AM
I said that when you run out of money you will stop whether you like it or not. You won't be able to deposit anything if you're out of money. Borrowing may work for some people but who's going to offer a credit like to a broke addict? This may work once but then you're on the blacklist and it's all over.
I'm not contradicting you here but it depends on the gambler because there are 2 situations that can happen when they lose:
1. Either they will stop totally like you said.
2. They will find a way to have some money again that will be use for gambling. Like they always said "If there's a will there's a way".

Borrowing for the first time with your relatives is possible but once they know that you are using for gambling then they will not let you borrow for the second time again. Loaning on banks is possible too but this way is being used by the gamblers who are heavily addicted into gambling. I saw some loaning applications too that they will offer loans. That might work for them too.
6657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 23, 2020, 03:18:18 AM
Maybe we can see a more competitive conference right now without Fajardo Smiley. We saw how SMB dominate the All Filipino Cup winning 5 or 6 straight titles.

With the absence of Fajardo too, now is the time for Tautuaa to step up and play like how he played when he is on NorthPort. Many are saying that the CStand - Tautuaa trade favored the NorthPort and I agree with that but I know how SMB will utilize and use Mo.

The only problem I see with SMB right now is their 2nd unit. Base on their roster right now, their 2nd unit is worse than some of the 2nd units of some teams but their coach is an excellent coach so I believe that they will make a huge adjustments here and they are the defending champs right now. They will not just lose here that easily.
6658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 23, 2020, 03:08:25 AM
It's a threat to persons with addictive personalities that see gambling as a way to generate an income,
Well, it really is a threat since most of the gamblers right now sees gambling as another source of income. That is their main reason why they are gambling, to generate income in a quick and easy way which is wrong. If you really want to have income, work hard and work smart and don't gamble.

but it's fun for people who gamble for entertainment & within reason and know when to stop.
Only few sees gambling like this. Most of them don't know when to stop and even they lose their money, they will find a way to get some money.
6659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH on: February 23, 2020, 02:32:02 AM
Really a sad news but this is just one proof that crypto is very vulnerable to hacks and we must double our security with regards to the coins we are holding especially if we are holding huge amount.

At the time that is posted on twitter, nothing really happened that much with either BCH or BTC although it went down slightly from its previous price on a daily chart. Probably the hacker didn't sold either BCH or BTC yet or it has been sold days ago before the post (probably 3 days ago before the post where there is a huge red candle on the chart).

With this, I'm expecting for a further downside in the next few days.
6660  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin halving to increase cryptocurrencies prices. on: February 23, 2020, 02:23:33 AM
Grin I am just so happy because the bitcoin halving it near again. It could be on May 14. But if not on May 14 it is certain that bitcoin will halve before May 18, 2020.
Many are happy and you are very happy that you've created a thread like this Smiley. Can't blame you but...... yeah were happy.

Let us expect bitcoin to surely still future increase in price this year.
Many are expecting but expectations often make your feelings hurt so don't expect too  much from it Cheesy. Just create a plan/s into will you do before and after halving.
Your post is kinda interesting but not helpful Wink Nice try still.
