6641  Economy / Services / Re: LEGENDARY ESCROW SERVICE (More than 19K BTC transferred) on: July 26, 2017, 07:33:21 AM
I would suspect that anyone pushing for escrows to provide multisig escrow services likely has the intention of attempting to scam others if/when implemented.

Quite likely true, but if an Escrow (the contract, not the person) was long term ie a long term signature campaign lasting (perish the thought) months, it might be worth having two of three (or more numbers as agreed to before hand) to ensure the campaign is paid out if suddenly wound up.

Case in point the bitmixer campaign, there were a handful of posts Belly Aching TM that they didn't receive their last payment while the campaign was in the process of being wound up.

On the other hand, an Escrow (contract) for a short term, "my goods for their payment", would probably be too fiddly to set up?  Having never dabbled in multi-signature wallets, I'm not certain.

That's great to hear. Thanks TimeLord!

Btw.. It would be great if anyone could test NFC component. I've had one report of it not working on a custom ROM.

I haven't been able to work out the bluetooth feature, all I seem to be able to do is get the SXC wallet address to send but nothing else happens.
6643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SXC][NSFW] Sexcoin - v0.10.4.0 Released!! Mandatory Upgrade! on: July 25, 2017, 09:06:45 AM
I've installed the SexCoin Wallet on an Android device and have been test sending / receiving coins very smoothly.  (including toggling the certifications 18+, 21+ age of consent to on)

Install was smooth, just downloaded to PC, uploaded to Android via Bluetooth, tapped and installed.

Too easy Lavajumper!  Many thanks.

Maybe it is just an hacked account here, on the webpage there has nothing changed.
If he is the real user, he would anounce that first on his web page.

Well, it's there now...

I'm sorry. I didn't get your point. Just a newbie here.
That's not how a signed message works.

Looks like you only got the signed message template, and put your address there with a random message.
Not to mention that you can't sign a message with the type of address you put above (P2SH).

Please, take a time to read and understand a little bit about Bitcoin addresses and signature:

Thank you so much. Still learning.

isoneguy has just falsified one of their posts in the [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1702409.msg20341836#msg20341836

If they are so casual about falsifying a post in such a thread, what other information have they posted that is false?

I can't help if wonder if they are an alt of Wendigo?
6649  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: July 24, 2017, 07:24:58 AM
@timelord

I think you're misquoting me. And victimizing yourself. Sad really.

Lo and behold !

What isoneguy originally wrote: https://archive.is/03j2t#selection-1273.0-1273.54

and when they modified it a few minutes ago:  http://archive.is/EWKIc#selection-2159.0-2159.54

As you can see isoneguy has falsified their post and is therefor a liar.

So, if isoneguy is so casual about faking a post like mine, how truthful is their assertion they were scammed by Ognasty (or anyone else for that matter)?

And who are they an alt of, Wendigo for example?

(bellyaching tin foil hat *blah* removed)

Or, *they* were leaned on...

In any event, places like shapeshift.io and the other mixers will be the next ones to roll...

6653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Maples - remember when... on: July 24, 2017, 06:11:41 AM
I just wonder does anybody remember this coin after all these years?

I used to have few Maples in my wallet very long time ago...

You'd have to start a pool and have a permanent Node up and running and probably be listed on an exchange (and a website, twitter and even Facebook account) thrown in for good measure.

A couple of shit coins have been reactivated after they were mined to death for a few weeks (or even months) before being revived (hence they had the Lion's share of coins)

Which version do you have?
6654  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: July 23, 2017, 10:09:08 PM
Feel free to inspect my scam thread on OGnasty(in my signature)...a few alts decided to pop up in there.
You sure ? As far as I know,those are genuine  accounts with high trust on the forum,you are just calling them alts as their opinions differ from yours.Still if anyone has too much time on their hands can investigate and try linking TheNewAnon to OgNasty  Cheesy

So I have been reading the ramblings of The Pharmacist and Pearls Before Swine for quite a long time and I am pretty sure they are the same individual. If anyone wants to investigate my suspicion further you are welcome to do so. Just a heads-up.
Cheers.

I believe if they were alts,The Pharmacist would have admitted it themselves like they did with @HuGeBlaCkwOmAN

INCORRECTLY ATTRIBUTED QUOTE! http://archive.is/03j2t#selection-1531.0-1537.7

I NEVER WROTE THAT!

6655  Economy / Reputation / Re: DirectBet.EU closed shop and walked away with bets in play. on: July 21, 2017, 07:45:12 AM
Nothing misleading in what I said, DirectBet.EU haven't paid out on my win therefore they are scammers.

Still haven't paid out: https://directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=1NTuGw5dZh8mLpjCHfoLgm4zDbEWCPnMch

 I used to use them, was about to again. perhaps not

Odd the two guys arguing in here appear to be Australian,  I cleaned up on QLD as well (as if we were going to lose to to the blues)
and a betting site in the EU had loads of markets in obscure Australian sports....

So what is another sports bookie that accepts BTC and I don't have to join? if you don't mind ?

I hadn't noticed the other two being #Queenslander 's - if you're in SEQ you might be interested in coming along to this: https://www.meetup.com/bitcoinbrisbane/ on the 31st of July.

As to the bet, I *was* going to top the bet up closer to time, hence the modest initial bet.  When I came back to top up after game two I saw the bookie had closed shop, so, I patiently waited on their promice of paying out all remaining bets.

Still no payout from DirectBet.EU  Undecided
6656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: KARMACLASSIC - Trading on NOVA!SWAP your KARMA coins to KARMC on: July 19, 2017, 10:23:07 AM
Hi, have just rediscovered this coin and thread(s)

Is KarmaClassic the Old Karma rebranded?

Is KarmaClassic on the same block chain as the Old Karma?

My wallet is re-syncing - Don't know how many weeks behind I am but have two connections, my conf file looks like this:

Code:
rpcuser=Howdy
rpcpassword=Duddy

rpcport=9432
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
# rpcallowip=192.168.0.*

daemon=1
server=1

addnode=45.77.65.217:19188
addnode=67.173.120.250:9432
addnode=91.153.109.149:49522
addnode=78.214.167.61:11081
addnode=69.130.152.117:51308
addnode=96.230.110.235:9333
addnode=128.173.185.170:9333
addnode=45.55.176.26:9333

I don't seem to have a "port" setting, what would it be?

Also, I can't see Karm listed on the Nova coin swap page, https://novaexchange.com/coinswap/ am I missing something?
6657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The world's first cryptocurrency for Rewards on: July 17, 2017, 10:10:36 PM
Have just recalled Nova Exchange does a coin swap service old block chain for new.

https://novaexchange.com/coinswap/

Something to keep in mind if you consider going one way over the other.
6658  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: July 17, 2017, 09:16:46 PM
If someone had the time or energy to go through most of the shitcoin ICO campaigns spreadsheets you'll usually find lots of accounts that look to be related signing up straight after or close together. Click on a handful or profiles in a row and you'll see many registered the same day or close together. You can often find them by their posting behaviour as well. I found dozens and dozens and there's probably hundreds in total that had all been farmed in the Chinese section then started spamming elsewhere in barely decipherable posts as soon as they hit the signature campaign. I don't have the time, energy or desire to do it any more and I'm sure others don't either but if you do there's plenty to be found.

You mean like what I've been doing all along?

This is me rolling my eyes... @_@

Crying about how many there are now is ironic - like closing the barn door after the horse has bolted... or some other saying or other.

It seems you're trolling by opening a fake accusation,do you already contacted with the support? Show us proof of your email conversation. I suggest you, don't lose your reputation by trying to misleading us about directbet.
