You have 2 BTC.
If I remember correctly, "Bitcoin" was supposed to be the name of the network/project/app and "BTC" the name of the currency unit.
1 Bitcoin 2 Bitcoins
Easy.
1 Euro 2 Euros
Same with all the currencies.
....
Agree! Bitcoin or Bitcoins is the same meaning and the value is the same, just different one letter only. I was not really thinking about it but if given a choice, I choose Bitcoins I would say "two bitcoins" to the OP's question.
On the parallel chat I thought things had settled to:
The Bitcoin protocol. One bitcoin. Two bitcoins.
.....
I lol'd so hard at this. But yeah, as others have mentioned, it's up to you, although it seems like it's typically referred to as BitCoins when referred to plurally, at least in America. ....
in english where is no is only singular and plural. 2 are plural. there are few languages where 2 are nor singular nor plural. 1 Bitcoin 2 Bitcoina 3 or more Bitkoini English have just 1 Bitcoin 2 or more Bitcoins #Thanks all you users for your opinions , it's very very appreciated .

Here are some feedback from our team regarding the present submissions. The goal is to help you make a better design, so you can win the contest: - iznagi : good point about redoing our logo with bricks, but the proportions are not good so we won't be able to use it as it is now - redsnow : has clarity, not sure about the font - neotox : try another combination without the orange (there is no orange on our colors http://imgur.com/TIq2TQb) - superhitech : colors are good, but maybe separator design is too complex (too much different symbols) - ndnhc : great design for our chip logo, but we need also signatures for other kind of members - alexrossi : very clean and neat, please update with LEDGERWALLET.COM (not ledger.co) - candystripes : too big, too much unused space, not easy to read and understand. Try to "pack" more - zahra4571 : colors too flashy, design a little bit too raw - twicezeroiszero : good try for the logo (but can't use it as it's not correct), not sure also sig will fit Thanks for the opinion , but I can't copy the "logo" from ndnhc and put it in my signatures , I will post my entries here. Designs inspired by physical ledger wallets. 1. Sr. member (not pic)
I want to push the text "Ledger wallet" a little up. But I tried a lot to do that, but couldn't. I think it has something to do with the font I used. great work @ndnhc .

Currency systems are usually singulare tantum, e.g. its 1 Euro, 2 Euro, etc. There just is no plural of the word even though its commonly used as Euros. The word "Euros" would refer to a number of coins, but not the value the currency represents. All that aside, Bitcoin has no central authority that can just define the grammatical rules for the words refering to it. bitcoin.org refers [1] to several coins as bitcoins Bitcoins can be transferred from Africa to Canada in 10 minutes. There is no bank to slow down the process, level outrageous fees, or freeze the transfer. You can pay your neighbors the same way as you can pay a member of your family in another country.
[1] https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-for-individualsThanks so much for your explanation , so at the end is it not a problem if I say 2 bitcoin ? It is my choice .

It's pretty easy: "two bitcoins" plural. The same rule as saying "I've got two coins" not "two coin"
For you it is better to say "bitcoins" but for me it is not such, because for me it is equal to say bitcoin also if I have 1 or 100. However thanks for your contribution.

Regardless of how good the deal is people should just flat out refuse to join until money has been escrowed and it's peoples' greed that sucks them in and now they've lost out altogether because of it. Usually the better the deal is the more reason to believe it's also a scam, and refusing to join will prevent this type of scam from happening all together.
The problem is : you can not force an user to "not" join to a scam sig. campaign " it's his choice" but at the end he must not cry if he will not receive the payment for his advertising.

I really wish people wouldn't sign up to these signature campaigns without the campaign owners doing everything they can to prove they will pay. No excuses should be accepted. No escrow: no deal. All people are doing is giving free advertising and promotion to scammers and wasting their own time
You're right , but for example comPiler offered .12 BTC *40 post/month and a lot of users were registered without any type of "proof" that he will pay or not. I think we cannot obligate to use an escrow but it is very "SUGGESTED".

How much did you sell your account for? What activity number did you have? Just curious, I'm not planning to sell mine, not yet any way I was a full member, and sold for 0.3 BTC. Hey, welcome back in the bitcoin community , can I ask you why have you sold your account and abandoned the bitcoin "world"? Feel free to not reply , if you don't want I would like only to know. I sold it to a person that I actually had in good trust (so not a noob/troll/scammer), though I've not been following its activity much recently. I had been programming for Bitcoin previously, and cashed out due to how the market was playing out at that time, partially due to a basic loss of interest. I'm actually back as I'm looking for opportunities to make a bit of Bitcoin programming or doing designs with Blender. I might post some examples of my Blender work a bit down the road. Oh then welcome again in the bitcoin community. Can you "link" some your old works? Sure. - This video is a roller coaster I cobbled together in 2 hours as an extra bit for a class project using path tools. It has some issues that I could fix if I put a bit more time into this design. The material setup is also incomplete, but sufficient for the purposes of that project. Render time about 10 hours.
- This is a single frame of a 3d animation that I made for a friend. The lettering spins around the "tail" of the S. Everything is raytraced, as you can see in the background. Render time about 10 minutes per frame.
- This image is a 3d modeled kitkat-like candy for the OnePlus community (invite-only phone manufacturer). I can stamp most shapes into the chocolate, and onto the wrapper. I didn't spend enough time on the filling so where there is a broken kitkat, the wafer inside doesn't look very realistic. More time would have helped greatly. If you look carefully, the wrapper is crumpled somewhat-realistically in the back. 1080p, render time 1 hour, I think.
- This is a backdrop for a Youtube channel to replace an older hand-drawn-and-scanned version (that I don't have, unfortunately). Uses photorealistic raytracer with glass materials. 4240x2348, render time over a day (on an older, less-efficient version and a slower computer than the rest, and due to glass).
All of the images here are licensed under Creative Commons 4.0 Share-Alike. Feel free to use them as you see fit. If you appreciate them enough and decide to use them, feel free to send a tip over to 1EYhYbBKRSM85EaoUbgQmnCwQerQWL99so, but note that you are not at all required to do so. Hi, very great creations , you can offer you service in this forum section : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 I think someone will need your help . Good luck for everything, cheers. redsn0w

Looking for a .25 btc loan, I can repay .4 on the 3rd January. I usually buy some btc every week or so but with it being Christmas and all I don't have a lot of extra cash. I will be paid on the 3rd of January and will meet up with a guy I met on local bitcoins to buy 1btc. I took out a smaller loan (.2 btc) with marcotheminer a few days ago and repaid him the .25 btc I owed him. Proof https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=750507.msg9705077#msg9705077If anyone would be willing to give me a loan that would be great. Any collateral? Dont really have any. I'm fairly trusted however and have had oppertunities to steal much more than .25 btc. I'm not ganna fuck over my account for a hundred bucks. So at the end do you can provide a valide collateral or not ? I'm only asking...

*no scherzo ** ...** solo la prima tassa è dovuta...

Newbie jail wouldn't be a bad idea.
It kept me locked down in the beginning. I could only post like once every 45 seconds and was restricted to newbie section until I was online for a few hours. Gave me time to read topics I was interested in.
Yeah I think the same , we need it back at least for "obligate" the newbie to read the various rules topics.

CoinPiler is scam, doesn't pay for November, plz remove it.
I'm shocked that someone who refused to use escrow with flimsy excuses turned out to be a scam. I've asked him several times times to use an escrow but this was his reply : Hi all the curious & cautions mind of BitcoinTalk Community.
I do highly respect all of your opinion of making an escrow. I do understand that you must want to keep the community safe and secure (at-least SCAM free) I am not outside of this intension.
I know that making an escrow would greatly improve my credibility, professionalism and so forth....
But thing is I cannot depend on others (at-least where my money involved). I cannot give my money to others and tell them not to waste or loss, or keep them safe for me. My money can be well protected to only myself...
Please don't take my decision in different angle.... take it as straight as I tell here... I do know, you can tell me lots of things against this post, you can even present me world's secured vault with world's most trusted guy to provide escrow... But I must not making any escrow...
After this post I would not reply any escrow related question. If you can join this campaign with my terms, please you are welcome... If you feel that you are not safe without escrow, please do not waste your precious time to reply this thread.....
If this post hurt anyone, its not intentional, I do highly respect your perception.....
Thanks
