Twentyseventy, my pedagogy is aimed at the educable--our younger finance enthusiasts. I have explicitly stated this my previous post. But I do thank you for bringing the needs of our geriatric money revolutionaries to my attention. Anything in particular you'd like to study?

Does anyone know who they are/if they exist/they dealt with Ken (never heard of People's Asic), or is Bargraphic's word cannon?

To illustrate third-party risks / probability of seeing profit in this venture, ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F1-media-cdn.foolz.us%2Fffuuka%2Fboard%2Fbiz%2Fimage%2F1393%2F18%2F1393183655655.jpg&t=663&c=9qKwYhMFUI_7nA) Two loosely related conditions have to be met for the Bitcoin investment to pay out dividends: 1. The issuer must make a profit. 2. The issuer must not run away with your money. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fcdn.gifbay.com%2F2013%2F08%2Fraccoon_steals_cat_food-70182.gif&t=663&c=VyI06ALj-eyYEQ) Fig. 1 Now allow me to place the Seedcoin scenario into a more familiar context for our young investment enthusiasts: In a strange town, you find yourself in need of a dime bag. Prudently proceeding to the shittiest part of town, you are attracted to a young gentleman (SF1) offering to take your money and BRB with teh bag. You, being a wizened veteran of such dealings, hand over the money and tell him to "hurry back bro." The gentleman reveals to you that he's not a runner himself, but knows the runner, will now go find him, hand over your money, and wait for the d00d to come back with teh bag. You hand him another twenty & wait.

... Have you sold all your shares?
JommyJazz, care to say how many virtual profit shares of the virtual identity known as Active Mining you're holding? It's a dull morning...

... havelock is only growing. TBH, I would see ASICMINER going down before Havelock. Havelock has better margins than AM, not to mention they are taking over nearly their entire marketshare where AM will only slip... Lol, Havelock, by its own financials, is running in the red, its shares trading @~1/3 the IPO price. What do you mean "better margins"?

... I think to a point that is true, but I have never seen otherwise reasonable people act in such a self destructive way. I suspect there is something deeper going psychologically as well.
Creepier still: People who willingly invest money in camwhores who happen to be well-known degenerate gamblers ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) I'm a pretty mellow d00d, I don't judge, u in2 zoo or vore--i'm chill, but THIS... This is one twisted fetish...

The ActM Thread account has been locked down - only two of us have access. So the shenanigans will stop.

Doubtful... want to know why? I tried to put action groups in place to get back property or prosecute people that scammed people and live in the USA. The majority of bitcoiners say "Its not worth the time or effort" WE THE Bitcoin population allow this shit to continue due to the lack of action by the community.
Unfortunately many have this mindset. But i believe its changing. People start to call lawyers pretty fast now... How's your Ukyo thing goin'?

thefunkybits, of course you're not getting the full BTC value back. Nor are you getting the generous nickel/share from Ken. That's why CT price is less then one penny per share. If you think a penny per share is too low, a great chance for you to make some serious cheddar ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

... I also suggested that they should invite anyone they trusted to also mod this account and I didn't need to know who they were...
--Badbear, I gave my account password to everyone who asked, and told them to give it out to anyone who asks. Now I can't log on, how is this even possible?! Halp me Badbear!

I think it's not ActM Thread but zumzero's account that has been hax0rd. Now the villain is using his immense social engineering skills to dupe Badbear into compromising yet another account. This is how those people work ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif)

... Let's see how things go and I might contact the global mods soon to regain access and reinstate those who have been excluded.
Posting on forum no longer safe... Internet compromised... Cut word lines...Smash the control images...Smash the control machine! Global mods won't help...broke under 500 rem, paid off...corrupt. It's only you now. Help us zumzero, you're our only hope.

For me at least, cryptocurrency is a way to remove one of the major inequality barriers plaguing society. I find it abhorrent that it is possible for asset holders to become wealthier doing nothing...
Holding bitcoin has done just that. Indeed it has, but anyone with an internet connection can acquire bit coin and invest with it... To be more precise, anyone with an internet connection and $654 could acquire a bitcoin. It is an investment in and of itself. Investing *with* bitcoin, AKA "invest while you invest," has proved to be slightly less profitable than investing in streetcorner shell games.
