6661  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: March 07, 2016, 08:21:42 PM
It wont replace dollar soon maybe in the future yes.
Who knows what the future could bring maybe bitcoin is not the mainstream digital currency.

i think the chance will be 1:1.000.000.000 , U.S. dollar is strong currency, backed with gold, I doubt bitcoin can replace dollar in future.

Well said dollar is very strong. Dollar is well backed with the gold. When we think about Bitcoin its backed with the technology. If something goes wrong everything gets collapsed.

Right and I think bitcoin have the higher percentage of collapsing. Technology. A lot of it relies on electricity. If electricity breaks down where will be bitcoin. Dollar will be there as well as gold and other physical currency.
6662  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: March 07, 2016, 08:16:37 PM
I have been holding, and was expecting to keep holding for a few years atleast, to see where the price ends up at. But its kinda boring and was thinking of using some of em.

Yeah it will be boring. No fun of risking it or using as a means of online shopping and other stuffs. If you got a really good patience you could do it. Better think of it as a piggy bank for you to not use it.
6663  Economy / Economics / Re: Is America a failed nation? on: March 07, 2016, 02:23:19 PM
It is now failing though. Maybe because of the freedom fighters (some media) that wants to know the real truth about America. We know there are lots that are still hidden in that government. One example is they are funding the ISIS from start. Before it really become ISIS though. They didnt know that it will get strong like that.
6664  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin always be dependent on fiat? Is it? on: March 07, 2016, 02:21:17 PM
it will be. like the example you said, and
also because the price of bitcoin is not
stable. but if the popularity of bitcoin is
higher than fiat currency, maybe it won't
depend on fiat currency.

I still dont think that could happen. How could you get the price of one thing without using a fiat. Try to imagine that. I am not being pessimistic but it is the real thing that is happening now. All are relying in fiat.
6665  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 07, 2016, 02:19:21 PM
If we compare the bitcoin with cash, the cash cannot be used for online transaction. The cash can also be used by criminals without being tracked.

Well cash can be turned to an online money also. But online money will depend on how rules are. There are some who dont let it withdraw with just a low amount. Bitcoin have also the black past and up to now still being used for criminal work. That could be just the creation of government or real.
6666  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: March 07, 2016, 02:08:57 PM
After the halving i believe we will stay around the 500 dollars and maybe end the year on 700 dollars but it may drop after halving it will be the right moment to buy new bitcoins.

Yeah the halving is like the most awaited celebration of the bitcoin users here. But still I dont know what really could happen. And from answers here I think they are not sure also except for that large percentage of saying that it will increase.
6667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 07, 2016, 02:07:25 PM
Mainly holding because Bitcoin has been good to me and I believe in it, if it rises in price great, if not, no worries.

just keep on holding it... if you can find away to add new and fresh coins in your wallet, it is a good collection even without thinking about the price increase...

From the price now it will be a great idea to add more coins. It is lower than the average price of it. That is just my opinion though. Better see the statistics first or the graph so you can see what the average price has been this past days.
6668  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: March 07, 2016, 02:06:12 PM
the price can increase and decrease. it's interesting

That is right. That is also one of the main reason why I got hooked up with this kind of currency. It is really exciting when you see it move enormously like $50 dollars in a week. Unlike in Gold where it just moves like a dollar a day or sometimes lesser.
6669  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 07, 2016, 09:45:42 AM
I need 200 000 bitcoin to retire
So only 199 999 left to get

Wow for the price now that is a lot man!!! You will be like one of the richest in terms of the number of bitcoins. I would love that too. Make me the second richest. I go for the 198 999 bitcoins.
6670  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 03, 2016, 05:02:21 AM
I think the best thing you can do is buy more coins with your day job wage. That way you can make more Bitcoin investment and you get better returns in the long run. You can work on your job and interested in Bitcoin trading too. That's possible if you have an internet connection in your job.

I can acces internet in my job, sometimes (like now), i online at bitcointalk and trying earning some bit.
in the night im online again at my home and trade my bitcoin at bittrex  Grin

I love My Life

It is like me also. Internet in job and more at home. But I still take care of my day job to prevent myself from being fired. That will devastate me cause I dont really have that much earning here in bitcoin. My job pays better.
6671  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: March 03, 2016, 05:00:07 AM
prices gradually fall to $ 420. is enough to make me panic. but we must remain patient. keep calm and do not sell your bitcoin now

The bottom line is $400 im sure this some whales want to buy bitcoin at lower price , and he trying to dump bitcoin, after the target reached he will pump again Roll Eyes

for me better to to keep hold my bitcoin

True. They are controlling it for their profits. That is why it is always good to have a  lot of bitcoin in your stash. You can control the rise and fall and make some good money just like that.
6672  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: March 03, 2016, 04:23:37 AM
To be rich, from one point we need to get involved in illegal activities. You can see only few people found rich just because of hard work, remaining has atleast a small corner in their life where they get involved into illegal activities.
I know. huge income will you get from doing illegal activities. would be great, but do you think that God does not like it?
your money will not be a blessing.

It's not about God or morals. You can get rich without doing illegal things. If you are a programmer you can write an app, if you are an artist you can sell your art. That doesn't have to be illegal. The most important thing is to choose right work that fits best for you and if it makes Money you can do. All you need is an idea and a plan.

True there are different ways to earn it. Conscience will be your enemy here. Yeah you do illegal tricks then what? That will always be stuck in your mind for what you have done. And maybe that will also be the one that will make you crazy in the next years that you will think about it. Unless you got Alzheimer's disease.
6673  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: March 03, 2016, 04:20:18 AM
As you see, the Bitcoin is crashing and trying to break a new low until it stop.
But I won't sell any Bitcoin at this time, I believe it will rise again as it always do. Smiley

That is cool. But seeing it go down again hurts a lot. It is like "I should've sold it at that price and buy again now" That always come to me. Profits may have come if this is all done. But you are strong for letting it stay. Good luck.
6674  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: March 03, 2016, 04:18:01 AM
This past few weeks bitcoin have been very aggressive and it almost hit $450 again. I see it rising to that number in the coming days and maybe stabilize from that point then slowly go up again to get another point where it will stay again.
6675  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: March 03, 2016, 04:15:11 AM
I think bitcoin is very safe and secured technology, as my bitcoins are very safe in my digital wallet, and I have not been hacked or scammed by hackers and scammers so I feel it really safe.
I also have never been hacked or stolen. for security wallet. it depends on you. bitcoin has been made very safe

We have different cases here. And we are the lucky ones. But I also see some stories that are bad and stopped in using bitcoin due to that bad experience. We should still be careful in every transaction that we do.
6676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 03, 2016, 04:13:24 AM
I think halving may somehow effect this coming april I don't know if I'm right, correct me if wrong. And yeah I do agree with all of you guys lets just wait for the halving it will benefit each and everyone of us it will really affect the price of bitcoins and hopefully it rise up to $500 so that I have my money for my school expenses.  Wink

Great. You are using bitcoin in a good way. That is really cool man.
Mine is using it also as a spare for whatever I want to buy in case I see some good stuff. And leave some for that price increase that is said to be coming. Really hard for us who are making use of it to let it stay in our wallet specially when it is really needed. But now earning more makes it easier because there will always be a spare to be left in the wallet.
6677  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 03, 2016, 04:09:15 AM
Well for me, it is always better to invest money to earn also another money. In this way you may also control yourself from spending when just saving. But if you want to save money it should be done in a long term so somehow it will earn interest in years but do not expect much on it mostly for banking institution..

The best interest percent is here in bitcoin. You are the one controlling it. Yes. That is what is cool about it. Sell high, buy low.  It is still faster that way than waiting for an interest in a bank. Yes bank gave the security in your money. But what else do they do with your money. They profit more for investing it in different things. Then give you just the very small percentage for lending your money to them.

Yeah, banks sucks, and with the invention and existence of bitcoins, I don't see it profitable in putting my money into banks, rather I would prefer to invest my money into bitcoins.

True. I can see some investments because I work on mutual funds and seeing all the annual reports. By that I can see how much these banks are getting and some companies with their investments. For small accounts they just get little and of course the larger the better. But where will you get that much money? Bitcoin doesnt need that much. And you can control it.
6678  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 03, 2016, 04:06:00 AM
my salary permonth only arround $150  Sad
if i compare with bitcoin, i can get more money than it, i can earn maybe $300/month.
someday i have tried to introducing bitcoin with my parent, i discuss about go full time on bitcoin but my parent disagree with me... now im still use bitcoin as sidejob

Just do it as a sidejob. That will be your best option. Time managing will be a lot of help for you. You just need to finish your job first to avoid being kicked and then do bitcoin earning while you are resting.
That is what I do in my spare time. Then I also get some rest during saturdays and sundays.
6679  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: March 02, 2016, 01:30:29 PM
I rarely buy bitcoins, rather then I involve myself in earning bitcoins, and the main reason behind it is that the value would be much higher in future so I can have good money in my wallet.

That is cool. But look how great the price of it now. There is this kind of thinking that we should start gaining more bitcoins now than be late and the price grew doubled. Then that is the time we regret it saying " I shouldve bought when the price is still low".
6680  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: March 02, 2016, 01:28:06 PM
Yeah but is growing now. There are some who accepts it now. Although they are just live cam shows that is porn too. Maybe someday we can buy full HD porns by the use of this currency.

On the contrary, I believe that the number is going down.  Angry

In 2013 and 2014, there were quite a few porn sites where the payment could be made using Bitcoin. But later, a number of these sites stopped accepting BTC. The reasons were many. Some of them complained that there was not enough demand for a Bitcoin payment platform. Some others complained that converting BTC to fiat was too cumbersome.

I didn't watch this subject three years ago, so I can not comment too much, but the lack of interest could be reason enough. Now the popularity of bitcoin increases, so situation is different. I'm sure that each page which now implements BTC will stay with for long..

That is why they are trying to create that popularity in every way possible. Services here are done by two livecam companies. And I think there will be a lot more that will come when this 2 clicks.
