6661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone shorting BCash? on: July 31, 2018, 08:56:35 PM
BCash aka Bitcoin Cash aka BCH, whatever you want to call it, the famous Roger Ver + Craig Wright fork, it's a really struggling to keep above the 0.01 psychological barrier. I believe when that is crossed we may see a big dump with a long red candle, which could lead to massive gains if properly shorted.

The problem: Ver and co have enough resources to keep creating dead cat bounces to try to keep it alive. At some point they will run out of said resources and then that will be the short that makes these that take the risks massive gains.

The question: How many resources does him and his group really have to keep pumping it? that is the key point here.
No one knows on how big is their resources but we can make some speculation that they do already make some bucks on the shitcoin that they do create. Those typical dead cat bounces are just luring in new people same as other views above and they would gradually make repetition on such movements until dumping it out. I had already dumped my BCASH since in the beginning because I don't feel up on support or engaging myself into this shitcoin.  Grin
6662  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving and price on: July 31, 2018, 08:03:22 PM
Here's an interesting price prediction that uses an approach based on the halving principle:

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BLX/oKh54NhX-Bitcoin-Halving-and-Charting/

The Bitcoin network issues new coins every 10 minutes, but the amount issued is cut in half every 4 years. It started at 50, went to 25 in 2012, and is now at 12.5 new coins every 10 minutes.

This guy's prediction is based on that principle. He takes a logarithmic approach (which is why the chart looks different from what you usually see) and a statistical analysis (which I don't know much about)

What do you guys think?
Speculations would really exist where people do make presumptions on what would definitely happen because we have seen on the past halvings on what these events contribute on the further development of bitcoins price.
Its just normal to see or presume that the harder on acquiring or mining bitcoin the more valuable it is. We don't know on whats the future but if we do just based on our common sense we would really heading that way.
6663  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: where can I claim about problem of ico on: July 31, 2018, 07:29:18 PM
If you have concerns about an organisation's information rights practices, report it to us.

Need help? Start a live chat or call our helpline on 0303 123 1113.
There is an ICO head office where you can make complaints

What?!  Is this your first time using a search engine or something?  That organisation is not even remotely relevant to the OP's question.  Information Commissioner's Office != Initial Coin Offerings.  Please don't tell people to cost themselves money by calling a UK group specialising in Data Protection, Freedom of Information requests and the new GDPR legislation just to ask them about some random crapcoin they'll never have even head of.  That's just a waste of everyone's time.

There is no "head office" that handles initial coin offerings.
He's just posting up without even realizing that this is completely non-irrelevant on what OP do ask on here. There might be some organization do exist but wont really be totally helpful but only to the place where those groups being located they don't even assure that it can really help out to resolve peoples problems about those ICO problems. This would really waste up peoples money and effort and totally a useless service too.
6664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone please explain what these Ether transactions are? on: July 31, 2018, 07:01:17 PM

Apparently they are signature transactions, no Ether sent, just a little gas.
If you would try to check out this is a contract address and this is a contract address of CASH token which you can see on here for further details

6665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is biteBTC is scam exchanges?anyone experience good? on: July 30, 2018, 06:33:21 PM
I never heard this exchange site before but you can check their announcement here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2791504.0 and here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3223743.0

And also. I found thread that this exchange site is scam here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4592558.new

What I noticed in the announcement thread is that almost newbies and low rank are posting in their announcement thread, so, for me it looks suspicious.

However, this site is listed on CMC here https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitebtc/
so I think CMC don't want to link a scam exchange site.
When I tried to search up more deeper they do have some volume on BTC and some altcoins but I cant easily entrust this new exchange but would really possible to have the chance to be used if they would just retain or sustain their current good service. Newbie forum poster or ANN doesn't mean that they aren't trustable enough some do just create out to announce but somehow it is really unavoidable to have doubts.
For now don't put up big amounts if we tend to trade on a new exchange.
6666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrop Discussion on: July 30, 2018, 05:50:54 PM
I often hear if Airdrop is mostly SCAM, But I do not believe it because I feel only a small part of SCAM ..

How do you think with Airdrop .. ??

And how much income do you get from airdrop .. ??

Yes mostly are scam and no value at all  but some are true  if you hodl it some times.
it is true right now many airdrop coins are scam and some are successful, but to choose a successful one is very difficult because there are so many airdrop. so if you want to choose a successful airdrop it must be thorough and good luck as well
Airdrops cant really be considered to be a scam if you haven't don't something like sending out money or doing kyc they are just free and its your choice if you do collect those pennies or not and I agree that this do somehow need luck for you to make some free money out of those free coins. This is still a good thing for you to spend some time because joining wont really require hard work and much time.
6667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Strategy: holding but trading on: July 30, 2018, 03:56:42 PM
Do you guys think that it is possible to be successful if I want to hold ( a year), but  look at the charts only once a week (even less), then  trade only if I see a huge loss? Let's say I set a loss of 10% now, will I have to trade a lot?

Thanks in advance
Even holding for long term wont really guarantee you success because no one even knows if the coin you are holding would able to succeed in future time.If you do aim longer hold on the very first place then you should not make any check up on the charts because you will just stress out yourself when you do see declining prices and as you mentioned you do set out a stoploss of 10%? Then its not considered to be a long term hold because anytime that SL of yours would be hit up when the entire market decreases so its be better not to set up and forget that coin for a year then check it once again.
6668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: July 30, 2018, 01:11:15 PM
There's alot of people move out from Cryptocurrency some are for their loses and without experience, some are doing for in bounty campaigns but still not get result so I want to know behalf of that reason I have mention is correct. What do you think?
For people who do just recently jump in because of the money making opportunity that they do know from other people would most likely comes to a point on where they do hate up crypto when they do lose up money and I would say it would be just right to experience for such noobs who doesn't even care how to read up things specially when they are just newly engaging into it.
For my part I do still believe on crypto and talking about bounty it would still exist as long there are projects do make crowdfundings but success rate would really become lesser and lesser as the time goes by.
6669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin May Soon Be Worth Nothing on: July 29, 2018, 06:57:15 AM
This article has about the same amount of substance to back up his opinion as the ones on many sites that claim that BTC will be worth <insert random made up super $ amount> and goes to show you that there are those on both sides of the BTC value that just espouse speculative value to espouse speculative value.

Why bitcoin may soon be worth nothing:

I thought we’d finally get rid of bitcoin. But the fake “currency,” which I like to call bitcon, just won’t fade away.

Bitcoin’s price rallied to over $6,600 yesterday, but it had been well under $6,000 last week. Even at $6,600, bitcoin is still worth 70 percent less than it was at the beginning of the year.

I use the term “worth” cautiously because bitcoin is really worth nothing, since it’s backed by nothing or no one. It’s a confidence game that has value only because people are convincing other people that it’s worth something.

Got it! Ponzi scheme. Confidence game. Fraud.

Anyway, bitcoin is headed for a value of zilch. It’s only a matter of when.

Source: https://nypost.com/2018/07/04/why-bitcoin-may-be-soon-worth-nothing/
Just as expected and we can really read up positive and negative words from different side. Some would be optimistic and some would be negative at all times. We do have our own will to judge but I would ask you this. Why you are on this forum by the way? This is a bitcoin forum and if you don't trust up btc itself then this forum wont suited you out.
As a bitcoin enthusiast we do able to know on whats the risk behind and its movement so its not really surprising at all as long you can utilize the volatility you can make money.
6670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung To Accept Cryptocurrencies As Payments- Good or Bad? on: July 27, 2018, 04:04:23 PM
I was surfing reddit and I stumbled on this post: https://news.livecoinwatch.com/samsung-makes-cryptopayments-possible/
It says that soon, Samsung, the IT giants from Korea are planning to start accepting cryptocurrencies as means of payments. Is this a right step in the right direction for Bitcoin and Alts alike or is this bad news for us?
Why would this thing considered to be a bad news? Adoption is always been a positive thing specially for those people who do use up crypto or bitcoin itself because they can utilize their crypto holdings on using up Samsungs services or just simply buying out phones or any other purposes that they would imply such thing. Big companies like this would really make some good impact because if other companies would see such move made by Samsung then sooner or later they would follow the same path.
6671  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Fundraising for Athens, which suffocates from recent Arsonists on: July 26, 2018, 11:07:16 PM
Scum like you, that take advantage of people's compassion, should be fed to the sharks.

No one should send any coin to this newbie address - send donations to the red cross or other TRUSTED sources.

jes thats true i also have a bad feeling about all those blockchain donation systems that showed, up no one knows what they are seeking to achieve or whats the true goals.
If we are those people who do really willing up to donate for good then seeking out legit ones would always be a part of our obligation since we don't like for our money to go into the hands of those scammers or total fraud charities. I agree on what Vod said these kind of people should really be fed to the sharks.
6672  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KYC Compliance for Bitcoin on: July 26, 2018, 10:19:22 PM
KYC compliance in bitcoin can really help it to gain legitimacy plus it will be available for more common people.

Read More: https://shuftipro.com/blogs/kyc-compliance-for-bitcoin-business/

What you guys suggest?
Only talking about Businesses that would followed governments requirements but bitcoin doesn't really need any legitimacy but somehow it do adds up on the adoption where these merchants or businesses accept bitcoin and other crypto. They do need to comply it if they do like to proceed but these things are just applicable to those businesses residing into countries that having consideration with bitcoin.
6673  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-25] SEC Postpones Deliberations on NYSE Arca Bitcoin ETFs on: July 26, 2018, 09:29:16 PM
Doesn't seem to have any real effect on Bitcoin price, still creeping sideways around 8,200 after briefly going below 8,100. Like Kemarit says though, the real deal (vanEck) still hasn't moved deadline. Two more weeks to wait, 2 more for the bullish sentiment to get priced into dollars, 2 more for everyone to start accumulating.

Been reading that miners have been selling off much more this month than in any month this year so far, more than they're generating. So if price is still here after all that pressure, it must mean there's plenty of buying action to equalise.
I read it up too about miners sell off and other related factors which we can say that it can mainly affect bitcoins price but now we are seeing the same thing where it do plays it prices on good ranges.
The delay didn't make any effect after all which I thought that there would be an another price pullback when I do read up the SEC delay news on past days but theres nothing happen.
Accumulation period will really be good to enter at this price point. What yah think?
6674  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies? on: July 25, 2018, 11:09:46 PM
If you are aware on the possible risk that might happen into your life then proceed since its your money after all and theres no person would able to stop you on making such thing. Just be ready on the consequences or results if the market would turn opposite or against you because this would mess up your life because we do talk about entire savings. High risk= High reward but there are really times we do need to secure or diversify or set out back up plans if one thing is messed up.
6675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Metronome (MTN) Bitcoin Killer? on: July 25, 2018, 10:36:34 PM
I bot a lot of MET with hope it will blow the market and kill BTC + ETH + others right after release.
As you may see it is rather disappointing. But still, it has some potential. I haven't decided yet whether to keep it or sell on first pump, but it defiantly wan't kill BTC or someone else for that matter. I hope it won't die itself before I sell it, in crypto this things happens Smiley

It will be more ideal if you would opt out to sell those tokens when it would have a pump as long you do make profits and then buyback later on. We cant really point out if those tokens will sustain or tank as the days goes by and lots of projects do tend to claim that Bitcoin killer thing but still they do end up neither failed or still below Bitcoin itself based on ranking even ETH didn't able to surpass it out if we do try to see the dominance theres really a big gap.
6676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safety can not come to the bitcoin investor on: July 25, 2018, 09:37:00 PM
Many people keep shouting that Bitcoin is a risky investment forgetting that almost everything ever done is a risk. If you carefully study your line of business you will notice that there is a risk involved in it too. But most of them fails to see that. The difference between success and risk is just a thin line in every business, just that you need to master your niche and become expert in it.
Anything on this world would really have come a certain risk even just basing on simple real life situations where you would need up to make such decisions for you to gain something. Even on having just a daily stable job you would still have the risk on getting fired out or being removed either on an accident or just end of contract. So, this do simply involve risk but yet we do talk about investments then losing money would always be tied up and talking with bitcoin investments then its risky and no one would argue about that because we can see on our very eyes on how volatile this kind of investment.
6677  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-19] Billionaire Investor Says No One Wants to Buy Bitcoin on: July 21, 2018, 08:21:45 PM
People ignore one simple fact; when these corporate assholes start to talk trash, they are very likely accumulating Bitcoin.

It makes no sense at all to consider Bitcoin to be a top or relatively interesting investment from their position if they haven't got enough coins to ride the next rally. If you ever see them talk about Bitcoin being worth considering, then know that they have enough coins to sell you at top levels later on. It's nothing more than basic bla bla to fool dumb money.

Wall street for once hasn't been the first to enter something with this level of potential, we, the normal people did. They want you out and buy your coins at much lower levels. Don't sell Gold for copper.
This is what on my mind too on where if these people starts to trashtalk or do say things about bitcoin negatively then most likely that they do just secretly accumulating bitcoin and we can always presume that they do just do such thing for such agenda. We do have our own will to judge up things but for us believers we would definitely disagree on those people who do have different insight either its a legit comment or just an assuming or pretending person to hate it but doing underground motives.
6678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Your best ICO experience on: July 19, 2018, 11:04:00 PM
I really don't get much interested on ICO's but recently I had some tokens but they are not listed yet on any exchanges so waiting to know the real value of the tokens. And I found Mozo token will be worth to invest and also I read somewhere that it will be listed on coinrail so if anyone looking for an ICO to invest then you also need to consider Mozo too.
Check it out their ANN thread too and frankly speaking this is my first time encountering a project where its still on upcoming ICO phase but its already being mentioned or announce by the team itself that it would be listed on a certain exchange - Coinrail which its very unusual stuff to know. Am I right?

We do commonly see most projects wont make any further discussions or announcement due to the fact that they wont disclose any information until it wont be listed on final in any exchange.

6680  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Some People Dont Believe BTC is SCAM? on: July 18, 2018, 07:32:29 PM
20k$ dumped to 6K$ was difficult but happened, 6k$ to 500$ is very easy soon will be worthless,  So  Why Some People Dont Believe BTC is SCAM?

A falling price does not make it a scam.

The price of an Amazon.com share went from $105 in 1999 to $8 in 2001. Is Amazon.com a scam?
Nice comparison and i wont really be surprised on these kind of thinking on where other people do have on their minds. When they do lose up money or do see such price dump they do directly judge that this is scam but well i can blamed those people yet online do have lots of scams involved where it cant really be avoided to have those views or impressions but in the situation of BTC it is entirely different because if we do try out to see its past or history of price movement we cant really say that this is a scam but due to volatility you can really lose up money but just basing only on its tech or innovation we can somehow assure that this would last up for some time.
