So you are suggesting people to keep on holding their altcoins (specially the shitty ones) while the price keeps on dropping where as the price of bitcoin keeps on rising? Wouldn't they be losing opportunities by holding their altcoins that are losing values? They can always dump their altcoins and then invest in bitcoin. We have always seen that when the price of bitcoin starts rising, altcoins price drops. Once bitcoin price becomes stable, altcoins starts to recover and then rise. So isn't it better to dump your altcoins, invest in bitcoin, make profit and then buy back whatever altcoins you have sold for cheaper price and make more profit when it recovers?
Seems like he is, which is very bad advice and precisely how a lot of whales make money in this Defi hype situation (very similar to the ICO days don't you think?). Bitcoin is pushing hard now to grow and altcoins are still struggling, people always know this but they keep playing with shitcoin fire. I made that mistake myself but not anymore.

So okay, Barca guy here so of course very happy with the results last night (Real beat us but bottom of their league). It isn't so bad for them though, winning 3 more games should be enough for them to progress, but for us now we have to win our own game. Our big bad wolf has now resigned so maybe we see Messi go and score a hattrick tonight yes? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I think people always forget to look at a business objectively and understand that good businesses make money by providing good service first of all. Obviously if they pay 1 BTC every week then you know that is at least what they are making every week (but surely more). Then you know they must be mixing so well that people keep coming back to them. Second is customer service.
Just like any other business!

Haven't made any bets yet, but I have some doubts about one game. Odds for Atalanta win over Ajax looks nice. Atalanta won first UCL game easy, but they suffered 2 big losses in Serie A. So, I'm not sure about their win. I'm going to back some favorites like Inter, Atletico, maybe Porto. And I will look for goals over in Bayern and Liverpool games.
Ajax odds look VERY nice indeed over 3.8x the problem is I don't actually know how they play, apparently not bad against Liverpool and then winning 13-0 in their local league, but they always feel like Arsenal to me. Plenty of talent but not enough grit to win, you know? The best bet there is probably BTTS and over 3, and then parlay with something like Porto (who played well and should score a couple). Haven't made my mind up yet however.

So how did Chelsea not get a penalty when Maguire was MMA grappling the Chelsea player? VAR is a joke. I've seen VAR give them when a player is holding a fibre of the attackers shirt yet Maguire is practically throttling the player holding him down and no penalty given. If he hadn't done that the Chelsea player likely would have got his head to it.
This really needs to change. VAR just makes all those calls which fall into ref judgement area very exposed and we need to have clear rules what is penalty and what isn't. Foul situations will always be a grey area but I am totally pissed with hand balls. That one should be regulated without any doubt. Either make it in way that every hand ball is the penalty or make it that it is penalty only if there is clear intention to play with the hand. This way everybody feels like they are getting worse treatment. The question everybody asks when they watch EPL. In La Liga at least, even if I disagreed that the VAR penalty on Ramos was correct (he even somehow dived the wrong way of the direction his shirt was tugged!), at least I can say the decisions, although wrong, were reviewed, and were quite consistent. Pulling shirt is a foul whether or not the guy fell or dived, for example. But in EPL? Var or no VAR, the decisions are so inconsistent. Whether or not the Chelsea player felt it, or fell, or whatever, Maguire obviously fouled no question, arms around a player, and nobody on earth can understant these things.

First of all to you guys posting above, you do realize it's a post made in 2018 right?
Secondly, I actually thought Waves was a good coin, and probably still is. Just a total sleeper that somehow keeps passing people by. It's not got fantastic tech (but is supposed to be among the fastest chains) but they really know how to do user interface and UX IMO. Even their retired lite was a beast in its day.

So, Juventus messed up Steve's Multi Magic, huh? i saw this coming from a mile away, dammit ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) looking forward to the next one! Damn you Juventus. Spoilt our Steve Multi. It's always one of the big teams that chokes as someone was saying a few days ago;) Not that we would have done any better if we switched for Barca (who choked on last week's multi magic). Oh man, Arsenal played so well tonight but Vardi knows for sure how to hit the ball and take a win out of your nose and I feld sad for Arsenal as they played so well today. Anyway, EPL is tighter than ever this year so I won't be surprised to have a different top 5 than previous year.
Before the match, most people would have thought Arsenal win this for sure, and looking at the game highlights, it seems Arsenal should have won this too but Vardy is Vardy and he loves to score against the Big Four! Thank you Steve and Sportsbet! My heart is still beating so hard:) Now I have to bet in every special every week!!
Well done, well deserved! Bet on every MultiMagic too;) This season is going to be wild.

It is interesting how Shakhtar will play with Inter after he managed to defeat Real in the guest match!? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Shakhtar got one of the most difficult groups, and they were the only ones who could score 3 points out of all! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Now if they beat Inter, it will be panic for both Spanish in Italian teams in that group. Remember they even won it with basically their second-string team so if they get all the first players back for the remainder of games, they might actually pull off the biggest upsets in this round. Me, happy if Barca squeeze through on second and meet 1st winners of other groups. I have a feeling 2nd placed groups will be super tough.

My worst La Liga week ever. Only got 1 match right but Real Sociedad had to score so many goals! Dropped to 4th place now in the pool so really hope to get 3 points from the last match game!
Barca losing makes it hurt even more...

I firmly believe XMR is undervalued after working with it on FreeBitcoins.
If Bitcoin is $13k.... XMR should be $1k-$5k IMO. I think that is lowballing it too.
People coming into Bitcoin are actually all mostly going to be XMR's in the future.
It's a better choice for most people who are interested in "Bitcoin".
Couldn't agree more. I never really understood how other privacy coins keep getting love but Monero's always the quiet one, almost to my uneducated observation the Bitcoin of the alts. Just working and improving, and getting stronger in fundamentals. Once Bitcoin people (those who ignore all the noise trading) make up their minds about privacy, it's Monero all the way.

ATM won today with 2 goals to 0 vs Betis, Suarez scored a goal at the end which made him the best scorer for the moment with the least time played along with Fati. ATM, 2 points behind Real Madrid, still lacks a game which makes things interesting especially that it didn't lost any game + Barca failure + Real Madrid struggling to win lately = best chance to get the title this season! Now Sevilla is a weird team, fighting hard in UEFA games then copycat sleepy Barca in La Liga! weird!
Along with Paco too actually. So good to see old and new faces, even though Suarez is ex Barca (god I miss him now but never mind at least it gives Fati a chance to shine). ATM haven't lost true but the way they were drawing 2 games after that crazy 6-1 shows they are still nuts about clean sheets more than anything else. EVERY big team is struggling it seems. Crazy Covid season.

I don't think any exchange scammed him. He probably lost money trading using high leverage and blames it on the bots. Yes there are bots on all exchanges and even the stock market has bots. Most of these bots are for arbitrage to keep liquidity healthy between exchanges. They ensure that each exchange has the same price whenever someone executes a huge order.
There are also some algo bots which trade based on certain parameters. Honestly I tried these in the past and they never worked at all. However this has nothing to do with the exchanges. They just profit off the trading fees and don't care if price goes up or down.
You know I always think the problem with people/traders/speculators coming in and out of all these waves of hype is that they just never learn their lessons. They make money at first, and then get more greedy and double and triple down whatever. Then when shit happens they blame everything but themselves. Good for us I guess though.

I think these guys could be just moving for extra security (to new wallets) or just in case old ones were compromised. I know I do that every now and then too, not just to refresh but to just simply get new wallets in case old devices are compromised. You can never be too sure with 50 BTC phew! We can only dream of this:)

Lost money on Barca of course. El Clasico as usual proves to be nothing like their current form. Frustrating as we weren't playing so bad (or maybe that's just me) so I reiterate my hopes for them. Play well in UCL, and just compete as possible in La Liga. The only shining light for me is Ansu Fati, but I hope we protect him as much as possible. I hate Valencia this season, they are bad but if I try to capitalize on their poor performances they surprise me and get a point or all three. Better to avoid them completely.
That's the problem with teams like Valencia now. It's like AC Milan a few seasons ago so many false starts that you lose money on them and when you bet against them they go and win or draw. I think someone mentioned here a few weeks ago Valencia are the easy money team to bet against but they need to lose more regularly for that to happen so best avoid.

Basically, any big corporate probably considers Bitgo as a first option, I guess. I mean, it seems that every big corporate company who ever gets into crypto seems to partner with bitgo.
I wonder why they don't just use their own custody, and then just take out insurance. Why pay someone else to do the same thing I wonder?

this game will not be decisive for who will win the championship, as I said barcelona and real madrid are not doing well. even if today barcelona beat real madrid for example, it is possible that in the next games barcelona will lose with many teams and that is also true for real madrid. about who can win the league I prefer to wait to see more games because it is too early to guess about it.
Yeah, both slipped in the last game, deservedly, it was even just a case of who was the shittier team. Barca bounced back in europe of course but their opponents weren't exactly great (then again, neither was Real's). Slate wiped clean tonight and this meeting is always a different animal. MY money on Barca but you always never know.daboo

This is not at all related to Bitcoin. If the terror funding was using rupees, would this be a Rupee related terror attack? If they used seashells, would it be related?
When they catch these guys because they traced their transactions with blockchain, then they'll realize the reason they were successful is related to Bitcoin.

I'm with you Harko. I mean, regardless of form and whatever, I'm always going to pick my own team to win, and the past few years we actually have the better record but all this is meaningless every meet and this time, I actually feel we have the upper hand, just on the basis of confidence and the actual form from the key players. Glad Coutinho is on a fine run, I have a feeling he'll play a role.

It looks like I picked everything correctly yesterday, the only problem I didn’t have any money to bet on and I think if did bet then I would have lost the ticket. The only surprise was Napoli yesterday as all other strong teams won their games and there were about at least 8 strong teams maybe more but 8 well known teams that won.I wonder if anyone was brave enough to parlay all these strong teams in a ticket as these results rarely happen nowadays.
Sometimes I just look at this and say yeah, thank god I didn't stay up long enough to watch and bet. Money saved:P I actually make money sometimes but always spend it on more betting. Think our problem is we don't really keep track, like me I just spend what I know I can lose. I should really keep track. Napoli lost but they weren't the only "upset" right? Nicosia drew when they were expected to lose.

I would've post my super bet Steve but I've lost all my tickets in UCL and Europe League aswell and I never lost so many tickets in a row that I don't even know what to do anymore... . Massive congrats to that guy who won a 1353 odd which is crazy and I wish him all the best and maybe he can share some tickets with us next time haha.
I just stuck with Barca and so I have been doing well (other than the loss in La Liga) but I would rather we win this Champions League this season rather than La Liga (I feel like we are building so we won't be able to get a double and it might be easier in a KO competition). Waiting to share my Steve Magic win this weekend;)
