6684  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: GPU temp on: January 09, 2012, 04:33:18 PM
Cut down on the temps - i personally make it a point never go over 80* for all my cards (5850s, 5970) if i wanna continue mining for over 10 hours. At 105 * the card is slowly dying; maybe clean out the fans and so?
6685  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoinica: 2,000 Users! Contest: Get 1 BTC for free! on: January 09, 2012, 03:58:15 PM
Your feelings about Bitcoinica - The first in the market - having to rely on bots to help me gain arbitrage sucks as compared to bitcoinica's service. A real lifesaver sometimes -  Grin i can even out my losses.

Your story with Bitcoinica's customer service guys - zhoutong has been the only person i'm aware of as the customer service guy but he does quite good a job by maintaining presence at the forums - at least i know he wont rush away with our money so easily  Cheesy

What do you use Bitcoinica for? - Even-ing out my losses in bitcoin and to obtain a general learning experience.

6695  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Dailybitcoins.org] Bitcoin faucet, sponsored by ads on: August 27, 2011, 06:42:14 AM
I need a way to know if the time has gone so I can claim again, WITHOUT having to try to claim.

It's a bitter pill to swallow to see the big price available, and then not be able to claim it.

So is claiming a small price, just to try and see "what time it is"
This. I almost got a 0.01 yesterday, but it told me to come back after "a few minutes".
Although i got 0.025 instead later  so i'm not complaining Grin
6696  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 200 BTC @ 12 US each. on: August 27, 2011, 06:36:48 AM

I am looking to sell 200 BTC in a phased process to build trust.I am only looking for buyers that are willing to use Moneygram or Western Union and to ensure they are covered will also be willing to use trusted escrows.

The current market rate is $8.85... good luck with that

His post is like a couple days ago, when bitcoins was $12. Tho bitcoins could be $15 tomorrow. Volatility  Grin

Download pywallet from https://github.com/jackjack-jj/pywallet and export the private keys. Import them in a new wallet and make sure that your bitcoin client is the newest from http://www.bitcoin.org/.

I personally do believe in the freedom of religion but this is kind of over the limit. Like where religious fanatics start to bomb/harm people when they do not share the same faith.

edit: IMO this would start to be a header war if bitcoin gets bigger
