Gold till now is more stable and valuated than Bitcoin, and i don't think that it will lose its value someday. However Bitcoin is growing up, having promising future as we expect, so trading both is the best decision
Both are good in terms of investment but gold will win in long run as we know anything happens gold will survive in future, but same confidence we don't share for bitcoins. Yeah you can invest in both. If you want long term investment, invest in gold, if you want more profit within a short time you can invest in bitcoin. To pick bitcoin is the better option. |

i doubt that it is a good comparison because bitcoin doesnt die so it can not actually become to life again, i think that it is unbeatable so it doesnt need to recover at all bitcoin will never die and all those deaths were just something like people predicting that the price will be dumped a lot though it has never happened, bitcoin has never died Yeah I think whenever the bitcoin price gets affected and goes low people think that it is dead, again once price gets increases they think it as alive. Likewise they have counted up to 99 I think so. The people who know well about bitcoin believe that it wont die any day. |

No matter what will happen, 2016 will be interesting because of the halving. Although i am not sure what kind of impact on the price will happen.
Right now i got a gut feeling the price will stabilize around the 600 mark at the end of this year.
yeah it's not a problem for me $ 600 seems to include a high price. but many people expects more for halving. probably many people will be disappointed. because the price is not more than $ 1,000. I'm afraid they will do stupid things that harm bitcoin Yeah majority of people who lacks patience will get panic and will sell at the lower price and big whales will take advantage of it, which can be harmful for bitcoin. I don't think the price will reach $600 soon. Only if the halving shows high impact on price bitcoin will reach $600 within 3months time.
For further series price rise we need serious money for investment, if this don't happen soon we could face many problems. Best solution will be actually to keep this price for a longer time (400$ is very good price), Stability is very important for using of bitcoin. Price stability is not permanent in bitcoin, we need huge market cap to achieve price stability, and the future of bitcoin will mainly depend on the halving. Price stability can be achieved by halving, if price increases in future more number of users adopt bitcoin and the future of bitcoin will be bright and evergreen with more number of users. |

I dont think that Bitcoin will make banks disappear.

This is a good question that every interested bitcoiner should answer according to his personal expectations and plans. In my personal case I am convinced that bitcoin can be reliable to exchange real money but only to carry out fast financial transaction, because there is a great uncertainty about the future of bitcoin in longer terms, and in that case I would not trust so much to exchange my capital for bitcoins.
this is reality that almost every bitcoiners also think like you,i have same case with you,and you right we must be not trust bitcoin so much,we dont know what will happen on next future,just put your some money,and keep watch bitcoin developing and price movement. even if the price will get higer you must sell your bitcoin and buy and that is the trade for making more bitcoin i don't like the way to sit down and see what the price will be i just like to work for geting more and more.

If I have the opportunity to earn more in bitcoin industry then of course I will consider quitting my day job. Most of the work in bitcoin industry is done through a computer. I can then stay inside the house and get more in touch with my family. I kind of prefer working at home than going outside to work because I get to see my family the whole day.
Yeah if we can earn a stable amount more than our salary every month then what's wrong with that to quit our job? According to our ability we can earn money, one may earn more the other may earn few. Also we can concentrate more on our family too. |

I'm also not gonna sell any bitcoins these days because I think holding is much better for the upcoming days, the bitcoin has a much better future this year so I think its also worth it.

The price of BTC is now a bit stable. And that is quite better than it will be fall down so that is good.
But I dont think that it will rise in the future that much. It will take a very long time to have profit with Bitcoin. So we need some good patience.
I think the price will rise gradually to $500 or 600 in the next two months. Then it will go to $1000 after halving. That could happen. But the block size increase will also increase the price, maybe even double it again. So the combination of block size increasing and the block reward halving could tripe the price to $1200. The price would triple even if there is no impact on halving. It happens just because of the bitcoins gradual growth but a longer time period is needed. If there is mass adoption of the bitcoin, say the user base increases from 1 million to 10 million, the price will rise 100 times. Yeah absolutely of the user ratio increases the demand automatically increases and there is more chance for triple times price increase. |

I do not see this happen the bitcoin can rise to a higher amount this year but I do not think to such a high amount honestly.
I think it will be max going this year to the 1k or maybe a little bit above the 1k but not more in my prediction.
It won't happen this year, $2016 is just way to high to be reached by this year...even that $1k, we will be lucky if we see it in the year end or if it will be there for a little long...But anyway, this is a speculation, anything could happen and maybe the reverse... 500$ isn't very high level, but i think the Bitcoin's price will reach this level soon
$500 was the expectation for the year of 2015, but fortunately it didn't touched. This time even before the 2016 December we could reach $500 even if halving doesn't take place. Yes that's possible, as the Bitcoin's price isn't stable till now, but i think we have to wait the halving to see the results then. I think this as a huge value.
