I see that your portfolio is centered around projects of which tokens are dirt cheap. The size of their market-cap would probably be a better factor to consider, but who knows, in 2017 "stupid money" surged into the crypto space and pushed cheap coins way higher than they would deserve. Maybe the next bull run will be a similar ordeal.
There will be a bull run but I don't think that it will be the same like 2017. Investors tend to invest now with sure coins that has been supported by the community and those projects that aren't really moving anymore. Big coins will be the safe haven for most of the investors and they won't dive anymore with any nuisance project/coin that has a low market cap. It's more of a gamble right now and there's no assurance that there will be a miracle for those kind of coins. |

Bearish market is good for long-term investment. It is actually a blessing in disguise. Just invest in cheap altcoins and wait for the market rebounds. It would certainly be profitable for you.
Long term investors will always see the opportunity and chance with the bearish market. And while the rich quick mindset folks, won't see anything with it because they all think about the positivity of the market. If you can't take the market while its on the bad side, you are not worth it to take those chunks of profits during the bull run. Appreciate the bearish market and take it not as a bad thing but look at the perspective on how successful people took advantage of it. |

Not yet, I'm not yet comfortable to say that this is already a bull run. Take time and let the market stabilize on its own and see on how it will react to the upcoming events that might give impact. We're very excited and happy because we all see growth in the market and which I liked it as well but give it time and don't let give high expection. Because if something goes not according to what we are wishing, you might regret and be disappointed with that.

 The price of bit coins is increasing. The price of the alt coins is decreasing. There was some investment in my alarms. Which is now almost zero in capital. Only 20% of the total investment is left now. In my absence, I am getting very disappointed day after day. I think many people like me are so disappointed. Sorry for your disappointment but that's the wrong strategy you've been doing as for investing to cryptocurrency. You are focused mostly with alts and you forgot to hit your bag with many bitcoin. This is the reason why when someone keeps on talking about alts, if he asks some suggestions on how he can make his bag better, I'm suggesting to start picking and adding up more bitcoin on his stash. Just learn from this lesson that don't go all in with alts, much better with bitcoin. |

I have no idea what is going on in the market right now, but I can say that this is one of the worst times to buy or sell a coin. You can't know if another bull run started, this is bull trap or we are in still bear market.
Worst time? no, if you already have coins that were bought during the $3k - $5k level of bitcoin, do you think it is worse to start selling it right now? If you also bought Litecoin @ $30 and it's already $80-$90 now, do you think it is worse to sell coins now? no. It is just a matter of wise decision execution. And if you think that it will rise more in the future, you don't actually look at the current price but on the future price that you are targeting after buying it. |

If that will be the sole purpose, I'm not going to use that for bigger amounts.
And instead of choosing blockchain.com wallet app, I'll choose a better wallet although I had no issues with them but it's just me that has that kind of feeling that there's a better wallet app and that's like electrum app. Since you will not open it for a long time, just purchase a hardware wallet.

The Ethereum hardfork which was the upgrade has already been done. i think you mean of cancelling mining. for years vitalik says so but no one knows the date even if they give a date, after a time they cancel the dates that they told. so we will not know till it comes.
Yes, I think he thinks about the shift of PoW into PoS and they have been working on it but they don't have specific time when it will be implemented. Everyone do believe that this will make the price better soon. The price added +$20 just for few days. |

Getting that desire of getting rich quick will lead you to fall earlier. The emotion that cryptocurrency is giving, this is the market for everyone, a free market where everyone can believe that it's an opportunity that came to majority who doesn't afford to join the rich's market such as stocks although it's not just for the rich people but crypto is different from that. There's that feeling that makes me comfortable to stay in crypto and no matter how low and how high it will show, that feeling won't change.

If Ethereum is better then compare it with other altcoins, it's the king of altcoins and smart contracts that produced a lot of tokens. Having eth and btc on your portfolio is a great combination and diversification.

You've sent USDT from Binance to a BTC-Address on poloniex?
First of all: I might be wrong as I usually don't transfer USDT, but...
...if the USDT from Binance are the Omni Protocol and not ERC20 based version, Poloniex should be able to recover it.
However it depends on their support I guess... but in theory it should be possible. Would have been easier if you had access to the private-key of the receiving-wallet but if it's an exchange-wallet, you'll have to hope that the support can provide some help.
But the support already answered him that it's no use and they can't help to recover the funds that were sent to the wrong address. I really feel sorry about OP's situation as this has happened before but those early transfers that sent to the wrong address were successfully recovered but to him it isn't. I think 2019 is the start of a bull run. this is our last chance to buy lots of big coins like bitcoin, eth, ripple and litcoin.
I realized that in 2019 like 2015. in 2015 it was the beginning of a bull run and it happened again this year.
I doubt this is our last chance. Last one before the next bull run? It is possible, but not the last at all. There are series of bull runs in the past and it may not be the last one but the chance of buying at the lowest possible is during this time. We can eventually see another bull run in the future but what would be the price of bitcoin by that time? I'm sure that it will be much higher than we had right now. I'm not skeptic of the potential bull run but that's how we see the market, there will be some upcoming correction or maybe just few dips. Just be prepared with whatever's coming to the market, whenever the market rises up expect that it won't last that long but if that lasts long then it's totally increasing it's more dominant favorable for the bulls. Like the comment that I've read before commenting here, we need to wait the reaction of the market when Binance allows orders again.

That is not going to happen. If btc gets to $100,000, it will certainly take the good coins along. As seen during the 2017 bull run when bitcoin touched $20,000, Ethereum reached an all time high of $1,400 and likewise other altcoins like Ripple, Neo, ltc.
It will take good coins but many will also stumble. It's likely that there will be tons of altcoins that will be a sacrificial lamb so that bitcoin and other relative coins can advance to a better level. But it won't be the same as we're thinking now if bitcoin goes back to that price. Not everything that went up during the bull run can go up again if bitcoin goes literally back on bull and reach a new ceiling. Many will become bitcoin millionaires here if it reaches $100k. |

There's no way for someone to help you out. As you have said, you already contacted them and as for Binance they don't have problem with that transaction if its already transferred to your Polo wallet. Poloniex is the one that can fix that issue just wait for their response. I've read of the same problem before but I barely remember on what exchange was the involved one. But don't you worry as long as you receive Polo's reply, they'll fix it asap.
PS. I thought Binance's withdrawals are halt?

That's the reason why they were called hackers, they don't have any goal but to steal others money through penetrating the security of a platform like exchanges or casinos. And these hackers are eyeing for the ones that has large funds on their vaults. In addition, the difference is that they continue to look for the vulnerabilities of a site, continuously. Whereas site security guards, if they feel safe, they don't make it strengthen anymore. Until finally their security was break. When it's like this, I'm worried about another big exchange site, it's definitely become the next target. It's true that if they feel comfortable and safe, they won't do something to upgrade and make their security better. And now that the hack has happened, they will take precaution and would look for the faulty side of their security. I've read some people said that this isn't an actual hack just like what others did, it's more of an inside job. Well I won't believe those hearsays, I'll believe more what BNB itself would say on this situation. I just wish that they will recover soon. |
