Nobody really expected bitcoin to suddenly get to 13k levels, looking at the situation there on the betting side 12.5k to 13k has 10.70 odds and 13-14k range has 9.76 as well the main reason why one of the mis higher while being closer was the fact that one of them is 500 dollars range whereas other is 1k range so that had a sliiightly less odds. I feel like whoever ends up winning in the next week will probably get a good odds for sure.

Interestingly price drop never had a good return, 9.5k to 10k had like 20x odds so people never really assumed it would have gone down, which is a good sign for the bull run we are on actually, could have predicted this good run from what people think on freebitcoin as well. Hopefully they will probably get back to a better level, I want to see 15k finally broken.

Truly unexpected. First we got MicroStrategy 2 weeks ago buying more Bitcoin (and how Norwegian government has a stake) and then Twitter boss says Bitcoin is the future, and then now Paypal following up so we've got an entire whole stretch of super good news.

Hope this leads to a more sustainable rally though. Don't want to see $10k anymore;)
6682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: October 23, 2020, 09:09:23 AM
We all know Trump is a businessman, at least there are still many people who think that he is a successful businessman and he also gets backing from another billionaire who supports his campaign. So it is only natural that many businessmen in America that still support Trump and even donated to him. In business, if your partner comes out as a winner, your business path will have the potential to shine.

Besides that, Trump's experience when he was exposed to corona, actually was the reason behind his promise to provide corona antibodies to all Americans for free. Of course, this has turned out to be a nice campaign strategy.

Look, when you have just two people to pick from, then you are always going 50/50 for how people think of you and even when it comes to votes, it's all about who you hate less or who you want less to be doing shit to your country.

And we'll even get some sympathy votes for Trump for his sickness for sure.
6683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy - open with their addresses? on: October 23, 2020, 07:43:59 AM
I believe the guys who first came up with the news would have had to confirm that with them but yes this is what I agree with. A lot of companies "buying" Bitcoin may not even really have bought actual bitcoin, simply paid another company who is custodial or who has issued "certificates".

Like buying Bitcoin on an exchange;)
6684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 22, 2020, 03:38:45 PM
A new war has just started in Barcelona, but this time between the players  Grin
They are divided over the demands of the club's management for a salary reduction.
The request is supported by Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet, Frenkie de Jong and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Against this request are Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Sergi Roberto and others.
How will this affect Barcelona’s game and the club’s results?

I wouldn't call it a war, just disagreements which are completely normal in any organization or team that wants to achieve the same thing! Eventually everyone will have to come to agreements, or they leave if nothing is mutual, but this is normal in any contract negotiation. No need to make a big deal out of it:)
6685  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 22, 2020, 01:33:47 PM
If not the government, then who? Can you imagine the most powerful entity in the entire country turning over the process of money printing to another? That is one huge blunder they would never ever commit. The power which resides in that process alone is immense they would never let it go.

This is what all the economists have been saying for decades, that because all that power is just too much, there is no way they would ever let it go, so the only way is for some workaround (other than blood revolution) which is exactly what Bitcoin is supposed to be!
6686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2020, 01:02:58 PM
And that's a wrap for the Champions league games this week. All games went as I expected except for Liverpool's game. I expected more goals in the game. I also anticipated Bayern would win comfortably against Atletico Madrid but 4-0 is a little too much  Tongue.  As for Real Madrid, they need to get their A-game back on unless they want to exist the tournament early.

I'm also glad my team (Liverpool) got the away win against Ajax. Not an impressive one but enough to put us on top of group D table just before Atalanta.

To me this is the real group of death. Liverpool no need to say, current champions of world club football. Ajax who reminded everyone what good football can look like two seasons ago. Atalanta with possibly the best attack in Europe now.

All the other big teams are fancy but a bit boring, even my own Barca Smiley
6687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal customers will be able to use BTC, ETH and other cryptos to pay merchants on: October 22, 2020, 11:04:14 AM
So this was the big news yesterday, I woke up this morning to see prices go so high, at one point Bitcoin was even above $13k. Doesn't affect the rest of the world actually, since we all can get Bitcoin easily but it seems US news still impacts all of us huh!
6688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: VeChain Future Price on: October 22, 2020, 09:44:12 AM
I also saw that Vechain's growth was very good there and convinced all of its community to continue growing on their exchanges, but Vechain owners had to work harder to maintain prices or raise prices, so no big dumps happened on the Vechain exchange. So let's see what happens to Vechain whether there will be a significant increase or will become weak later.

Growth in terms of what? Price? Volume? All of that's easy to do with a centralized coin like Vechain. Problem is the real growth in adoption and utility. Even top 10 altcoins not all of them have solved this, what do you think makes Vechain or any other chain coin better in that regard?
6689  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 22, 2020, 09:02:02 AM
Wow nice 1400x bet by that guy, taking Shakhtar Donesk to win who never beat Real in 22 years is the biggest balls, and then to mix it up with the other favorites Salzburg drawing and Inter? Wow. Fully deserved.

Me I'm going simple on Europa tonight but I took Multi Magic special;)
6690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin không bao giờ có thể đạt được ATH của nó nữa on: October 21, 2020, 01:25:00 PM
well, looks like the bitcoin is currently going for another spike 12,244$ first time to reach the 12+ this year I guess? looks promising to me and will encourage me to buy more soon, just watching to know where it will go sooner

For sure;) And anyone who lost hope in Bitcoin will be squinting at their altcoin baskets now and wondering why they didn't go and pad up their wallets with Bitcoin while it's cheap.

Of course, it could still fall back to 10k but imagine being able to hold support at 50% of the ATH!

4 more days for Lambo giveaway, good thing for FBC the price of Bitcoin is reaching a nice high price above $12k;)

I don't care though, if it becomes $20k even on 25th and I win the prize with my tickets (my highest ever tally!!) I will be in heaven. Good luck everyone!
6692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC PUMP, But Every other Coin Dumping!! on: October 21, 2020, 11:10:37 AM
For last 2days bitcoin is continuing it's uptrend run. It's close to 12000$ now. But why all the alts are going down? Especially the top alt coins which had a good price before the dump.
For example BnB was 31$ when btc was 11300$ and ETH was on 380$ when BTC was 11400+$ . Now BnB at 28.7$ and ETH at 370$. Any reason for the dump?

Because of fomo? As usual, stocks dip and crypto dips, but people holding all the altbags see Bitcoin reach August high and they of course liquidate alts to buy more BTC. But everyone seems to be recovering again now and Bitcoin is pushing up most alts, even all the Defi ones. Bitcoin is boss as usual.
6693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 21, 2020, 09:10:45 AM
Great win yesterday, United made me some money  Grin Kinda wanna to continue this, placed a bet for today match Ajax vs Liverpool - MY BET

I think without Van Dijk Liverpool does not have a single decent centre back and in general they are in rather poor form at the beginning of this season while Ajax have won their last game 5-1 against Heerenveen. Obviously you cannot compare Eredivise to Champions League but imho they can surprise today, especially at their own stadium. Bet is definitely worth a try at those odds.

Don't forget they made their first final appearance without VVD and Alisson so yes, they have a really bad defence but their attack is still to me one of the best in Europe, if not the best. Mane and Salah score, Firmino is the only striker who pulls defense away all the time. They do not look like Neymar Mbappe or Suarez Messi or Kane Son, but they really have such power that even without defense, they should still slot in 2/3 goals in this match.

On the topic of NFTs, I have to say feel a bit sick of seeing of these influencers also now just pushing out all kinds of silly NFTs they probably didn't even make (paid some guy on Fiverrr to make most likely and paid another guy to create the NFT).

Thing is people just buy them anyway. World's not making any sense.
6695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 20, 2020, 08:55:55 AM
I would be very pleased if Man Utd manages to win against PSG, but from what I'm seeing lately, only thing that works for them is luck. They are as lucky as they can be, since their way of playing can be hardly called organized or structured. Pure improvisation with lots of bad performances overall.

Brave bet Cheesy

Yes and they even won their last match 4-1 against Newcastle because players got tired in that game towards the end. Very many matches now with 2/3 goals in the last stretch.

United were always playing brave since before, but the difference now is they are brave on the outside and scared as hell inside. You can see the fear in their eyes esp the defense, although people like Pogba look like they're dreaming on the field, so different from Juventus days!

Cool stuff this Jackmate! Makes me sad to see Suarez no longer in my team (Barca) and I can't pick him anymore:(

Question: What if I make all my predictions but all the players I select only play in a later game and I find out he isn't available later, can I make a change to my picks?

6697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: October 20, 2020, 06:49:33 AM
I as an XRP holder would happy  to hear this good news, I hope the news related Ripple's partnership with Bank of America can make
Ripple pump prices in the near future. Because I agree Bank of America is a huge global bank that has a good reputation. It should have
an impact on XRP's price, but even if Ripple's price has gone up due to this news, it's unlikely to hit the $ 5 price. It is likely that XRP will
go up to the price of $ 1, but if it does that it is already a very good achievement for XRP.

Dude, Ripple's been pumping news out like this with all the banks for ages and ages, to be honest, already several hundred banks on the Ripple Network and probably no more guys coming as there's no one left to partner with;)

As you should know my now, XRP itself isn't even used in any of these deals so they don't anyway impact price:)
6698  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is rising suddenly ? on: October 19, 2020, 12:58:44 PM
When Bitcoin starts to grow it rises at the speed of a storm. This is the nature of Bitcoin, Look at Man-made disasters, said natural disasters, nothing has not been able to stop the movement of Bitcoin to date. Bitcoin moves at its own pace.

Well it has been 6 months of storm power then to get from below 4k to 11k right not. Not exactly the 4k to 20k movement we saw in 2017 but definitely still a hugely powerful movement when compared to any other asset class for sure!
6699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 19, 2020, 12:17:35 PM
The lose in the El Classico if happens will pull Barcelona back to serious troubles. Griezman, Messi, Bartomeu, and many things. I don't see how they can end this season as a champion. I don't want to make you sad but honestly I think Barcelona will end this season as a loser again, in La Liga and in Champions League. In Champions League, if they are luck enough, super luck, they can win a surprising trophy but it is very small odds. Bayer Muchen is here and they are still strong.

I'm prepared to see them lose the crown again, but I have hopes that Koeman is also interested in rebuilding and stabilizing as opposed to winning rightaway. Though the board needs to fix itself first of all before all of this happens, so we're in for a rough ride this season.

Or Messi pops up as usual and carries us all the way to the end. Has happened before.

Obviously if you asked me if I would play dice on 88x odds for 1k satoshi I would say no, because at dice you are playing like a hundred times in a minute, maybe more, so you would be basically losing hundreds of thousands of satoshi before you could make a profit most of the time, or get like 2-3 wins in 200+ tries so even if you profit its a low chance and risky.
Yeah, it's all about preferences indeed.  There are also really kind of gamblers who want instant play or the result of what they play.  Even I will not be able to risk such odds and base bet especially if there is no big bankroll, except if you participate in an event.  But that's the way it is, you can still lose and lose, in the short or long run.  There is no guarantee that you will continue to experience winning, sometimes you will be surprised by a very long lose streak especially if there is an increase in loss.

Definitely more,,, I am on VPN and I can achieve about 2 bets a second;) And yes, everyone has a different style of play and at the end of the day, the odds speak the loudest truth as I often find out playing long enough Tongue

Just come for the fun, guys, then you lose nothing:)
