6701  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: August 14, 2019, 01:39:28 PM
Right now someones going crazy and buying about 1000 tickets per second for the past few hrs, does anyone know whats going on?

1,000 per second?? I know they updated the stats to make it live, but it looks closer to 10 per second right now.

Whats weirder to me is why people spend far more BTC on the lottery tickets than the total lottery prize pool. Last lottery, somebody bought 95,509,171 tickets, which is 0.955 BTC, and only won 0.023... The top prize was much lower than that... What are they thinking? I know some tickets you get for free, and referrals and this and that, but not 95 million of them! Can somebody explain how that works economically?

Congrats to The Goose for collecting all 5 Infinity Stones. We hope he uses them wisely. You know, not for an infinite supply of White Russians, or something.

So you're saying BTC will never crack $13k again, and also cease trading entirely in early 2021? This is the dumbest chart I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of dumb charts in my day.

I don't see any fake information. I need you to have proof. You should remember: ponzi always has stops, many projects like this. and many people like it.
Why ponzi still exists, hyip still exists. because it helps many people. Do not confuse me in relation to them. I just said my opinion.

I

A Ponzi scam is still a scam. There's no such thing as a "good Ponzi," as all Ponzis are scams. There are no exceptions. This topic should be moved to Investor-Based games, or ever better, the trash.

"Shit runs downhill", 2019 bull season edition.

I don't get it. Why do all lines converge at 1.00 on the "performance" axis? As was pointed out in a twitter comment beneath this tweet, "Shouldn’t this be normalized where all alts start at the same point to the left?"

Though its clear the majority of the coins are above the axis, meaning they have fallen relative to BTC, it gives a weird impression.
6706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 14, 2019, 04:28:41 AM
First:

This comment is actually valuable in that it shows how deluded the BSV cult really is. Because some pretty damning testimony came to light against CSW regarding evidence he submitted to court, the judge must not only be a BTC maximalist who runs his own Lightning node, but his bias is interfering with the relay of witness testimony. Just think about how truly moronic that sounds for one second. And then you are free to carry on with your day.

And he is somewhat deluded into thinking that the possibility of a "blockapocallipse" is much higher than it really is...

You may wish to ponderate upon this trend line: https://www.blockchain.com/en/charts/avg-block-size?timespan=all

Has nothing to do with a "blockalypse" because the blockalyse never happened. It simply means blocks are becoming increasingly full. If that makes you want to declare there's a bitcoin apocalypse, you're going to be sitting in that doomsday prep camp all by yourself. At best, in the company of geniuses like hv_ and alevlaslo.
6707  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] The Official Dirty Turds Poll - Which DT needs flushing first ??????????? on: August 14, 2019, 03:57:38 AM
I just want to say this poll is bullshit.

How am I losing to LFC?

I should OBVIOUSLY be in 1st or at least 2nd place, due to my observably scam facilitating ways.

I will not rest until things are FAIR, and will probably fire up an alt account from which I will post nothing but snarling, foaming at the mouth walls of text, and use it to vote twice for myself.

Or maybe I should use it to escrow an account sale to myself for the sake of facilitating a scam, since that's more along the lines of my persona.

6709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BANKERA – Building the Bank for the Blockchain Era on: August 13, 2019, 11:52:09 AM

Final result:

1. Bankera and Spectrocoin both have active red flags.

2. All of you have been tagged as paid shills and scammers.

3. Token lost about 15% of its value and is going down

4. More that 1 000 views for scam accusation thread.

5. More than 50 new links appeared regarding scam accusation for bankera/spectro on the web.

6. Lawsuits were launched.

1. Both flags are inactive due to insufficient support
2. What does that prove exactly? That all those accounts tagging the legitimate community members are multiaccounts of you?
3. Again just because the price is going down it doesn't mean it is not a legit project.
4. That's fine. People should make up their own mind based on the facts presented from both sides.
5. You can find that for plenty every crypto project out there. Just google "Binance scam" and you will find dozens of accusations. What does that prove btw?
6. Fine. So we will wait for the rulings. BTW where is the letter from the Lithuanian Financial Authorities regarding Bankera that you have received? Still no proof whatsoever...

1. Wrong. Both flags are active. A non-logged in visitor will see this message displayed above each thread created by either account:

Warning: One or more bitcointalk.org users have reported that they believe that the creator of this topic displays some red flags which make them high-risk. (Login to see the detailed trust ratings.) While the bitcointalk.org administration does not verify such claims, you should proceed with extreme caution.

2. I am not a "multiaccount" of mosprognoz.
3. Its one of the potential reasons.
4. Agreed here.
5. Just google "SpectroCoin scam" and you will find _hundreds_ of accusations against a project _much smaller_ than Binance by several orders of magnitude.
6. Don't know anything about this but there's no way I would touch this project given the flood of user complaints against it.
6710  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] The Official Troll Poll - voting has begun! on: August 13, 2019, 11:26:25 AM
My vote gone for game-protect and he needs to win this. Give him some honer LOL

The top 3 contenders certainly are putting up a good fight for the #1 spot with only a week to go until poll closing. Here's some troll sports commentary:

We have game-protect, tagging scores of accounts with enough red paint to make all the bloods in Los Angeles County jealous.

We have realr0ach, shitposting hatred against the jews at least 10 times a day in the WO thread, somehow finding a way to blame them for things like the bitcoin halving.

Then we have the-one-whose-name-shall-not-be-mentioned, who concocted the brilliant maneuver of launching their own counter-poll, in a real demonstration of how not to be outdone in the trolling department.

I gotta say folks, notcryptohunter is digging deep within themselves to pull off a V in this contest. Clearly they are laser-focused on what they are doing here, and that demonstrates a discipline that most other trolls just do not have.

Roach was giving CH a run for their money in the first half, but is really gonna have to step it up now and start shitposting about ethnic and religious minorities in other threads and sections of the forum if they want to walk away from this with the win. It's all about zone coverage here, which is something roach has certainly been lacking through this contest so far.

And now Brian, back to you in the studio...

Oh interesting to see some new players... the "Hero Members".... Some of them guess are even hardly proud of the status.. says everything..

My dear Mosprognoz

I told you the more people see what you are posting and spreading the better!

Look Community, This is how Mosprognoz is behaving in the chats! Very good behaviour... isnt it  Huh   Huh

I fail to understand what any of this has to do with the multiple scam accusations against Bankera and SpectroCoin. Hundreds of people were ripped off by them over the last 2 years. You constantly posting this same stuff over and over doesn't change that. You can keep dreaming that there is a "conspiracy" against you or you can face the fact that you are promoting what appears to be a scam.

OK guys, check my workings for me:
It's often stated that BNK has fallen in value by 90%. BNK was 0.02€, now 0.0018€, thereore a loss of 90%, simple.

But we didn't buy with euros, we bought with ETH.

In the middle of the ICO 1 ETH bought 84507 BNK (after the unsold token distribution).
Today those 84507 BNK would fetch 0.76 ETH.

Therefore the fall in value is actually 24% not 90%.
Even BTC is down 43% from ATH.

Unless you bought the ETH specifically to buy BNK. In which case you are still down 90%.

A fair point nutildah, but you could work that out in many different ways. eg Anyone who bought their ETH in Venezuelan Bolivars is now up up several million percent. Which of us knows what will happen in the wild worlds of currency valuations? Other than BTC will rule eventually of course?
And Bankera could be a nice little EU regulated haven for the people to bank their BTC.

Anyway, good to have you along.

You seem to be the most reasonable of the newfound group of "promoters", so I will address you directly. Why invest in something that has such a terrible reputation? No matter how you dice it, there have been hundreds of individual complaints about SpectroCoin stealing user coins strewn across the internet... Dozens here, on Reddit, in blogs, review sites, Medium articles, etc. Here's just a few from http://bittrust.org/spectrocoin/:

Quote
I wanted to participate in the Bankera ICO (which I now think is a scam), but thankfully due to Spectrocoin's absolutely pathetically slow and dysfunctional service, I am of the opinion that it is all a SCAM! After 2 months of waiting for them to respond to my queries, I am convinced that they are not legit. Their inefficiency saved me from wasting my money on something worthless. Bottom line: Stay far away!

Quote
Too bad the reviews cannot go below one star, because they do not deserve even one star.
Acquired some XEM (December 5, 2017) put them in my Sepctrocoin wallet, or so I thought. The coins were never received and it is impossible to get support from this company, not through requests for assistance, issuing tickets or calling them. Their addresses are fake, or at least show no existence of the company (check with Google streetview..). Ms Raminta promises help and then disappears from the face of the earth.
IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. They just take your money.

Quote
Spectrocoin scam company rejecting withdrawals and KYC
They target users with medium and large wallets, afterwards they restrict your account with KYC, that is impossible to pass.
Used verification documents can be 100% valid and accepted by any other crypto wallet, but not them.
You can will be asked to upload same documents again and again.
STAY AWAY FROM SPECTROCOIN SCAM!

Quote
I really can not stand seeing people suffer from these scammers.
Spectrocoin is fraud. I did business with them last year. After the initial fee, they encourage me to invest more. At some point I tried to access my account, only to find out that I was suspended after I paid € 87,000. I tried very hard to address them, and I received no answer from them for weeks. As God wants, I met an old friend who was also the victim of cryptocurrency fraud, but by another broker. At that time he had his money back and he referred me to Swift Recovery EU (swiftrecovery.eu). I would like to believe that I am the luckiest person to live because I have been able to recover my € 87,000

Quote
Well after reading some earlier dated reviews I still sent DASH to spectrocoin. After it not arriving in my wallet they have lead me to believe they have to do a manual transaction to process it and could take a week..so everything everyone is saying is completely true

Their coin looks like its on the road to nothingness. I don't understand what about it inspires confidence in you. If you want to explain, I'm all ears.
6714  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reuben Godfrey on: August 13, 2019, 06:09:34 AM
I pity you, obviously you were fed with misinformation about our group. Just like what i have been telling over and over, we operate based on the information given to us. We don't  lie about things. Insider trading? Are you kidding me? Check out my kep token wallet and you will see that i still have all my kep token salary lol if we were part of that insider trading i would have bought a range rover now lol.  Wapinter is like a partner to us but Giorgi and his team has the operational power on management and administration aspects of the project. So its pretty obvious you were operating on a very very bad information about our group. If you want to know our story first hand call me in telegram @wiredideas and get your facts straight.

OK, what is your KEP token wallet address? I'll clear this up for you right now.

I'm sorry you got burned by scammers but that's what you get for promoting scam projects.

And you continue to work for a project where Giorgi is an advisor.

Your judgment is extremely suspect. People should be warned that you apparently don't mind working with scammers, regardless of whether or not you admit they are scammers.

Bought my plane tickets for Cebu today!

There is actually a small island that very closed to cebu mainland. It is called as Lapu Lapu City, thats the place where the Iron Man sports is being held every year. You will also not be having huge issues about your internet connection cause its pretty urbanized place.

Mactan, Lapu Lapu looks quite nice, but a bit expensive. It seems there's a lot of Americans around there. Perhaps once I get settled I can find a better deal around there.

The only thing in there is that there are a lot of koreans lol.

Yeah thats OK, I don't mind Koreans so much. There were a lot that lived in Angeles City. At least they add some decent restaurants to the mix, wherever they are. I kind of miss kimchi.

....

Immediately upon passing each quiz.

And the irony is, if you get a question wrong  it doesn't even matter.
You get to keep guessing until you get it right.
It's like your shit coin prize is a "Participation Trophy" ...Hmmm, where have I heard that before?
...What a farce.
Whatever.. I got $20 worth of bitcoin for a few mouse clix.

The state where I have my ID and former bank, Hawaii, made some absurd law a few years back saying that in order for a crypto exchange to operate in their jurisdiction, they needed to hold an equal amount of fiat reserves worth their crypto holdings, which is fucking stupid. So, my Coinbase account was the first to go, followed by Poloniex, and most recently Bittrex. No quiz for me.

Of course this is a state that still doesn't have medical marijuana dispensaries, despite being one of the first to approve it, back in the 90s. Everything they do is ass-backwards, and they can afford to because tourism.

I'm up early this morning trying to figure out what to do with my garbage. Its supposedly garbage collection day, and I have a stinky, maggot-ridden bag I desperately need to dispose of, but nobody else has their garbage outside. If I leave it out, cats will rip into it and expose its filthy contents. If I keep it, its one more week with it. I'm hoping somebody's coming down the street yelling "basura" in the next couple hours, so I can go back to bed.

whoa!
For a minute there I thought you were metaphorically describing hanging out on this thread when certain trolls (not to be mentioned) are posting...

I got (and still am) confused at the "garbage collection day"... isn't garbage collected daily/nightly almost everywhere? Is it some kind of metaphor?

No metaphor, I'm not that clever or weird.

There's literally a filthy bag of garbage I need disposed of. I moved to a new neighborhood not so long ago, and garbage collection is 2x a week. I missed it the first week. The cats kept tearing into it. I'm afraid if I put it outside too early, they will again, and the neighbors will get pissed. I should ask them but I don't speak the language.

I should just put my question in Google Translate and hold the phone up to them like a big American dildo.

Well, the most American thing I can do is say "Y'all know what I should do with my garbage around here?" just assuming they speak English. They don't.

My son 7 just told me the future

1. Conveyor belts, no more walking anywhere

2. Busses will cost £100

3. No more tablets or computers

What could lead us to this demise?

Maybe he sees something we don't but can't adequately describe it. Teleportation. Hyper-inflation. Computers have become the size of patches and controlled by a neural uplink.

I didn't quote the non-sense part. Just so there is some context to my reply. He said he can't do it, or couldn't do it. More accurately, what he is trying to say is he doesn't know how to do it.

Wow, you're an early riser.

Again just because the price is lower now it doesn‘t mean it is a scam. Almost every crypto is down.

Since January? Au contraire, most of them are up.

The total coin market cap excluding bitcoin has gained $30 billion since Jan 1st. BNK hasn't been along for that ride, and for good reasons.
